Overall I have positive impressions of this lawnmower / trimmer despite a few issues which I’ll detail below.
Both the strimmer and mower were easy to assemble and I had them up and running in maybe 15 to 20 minutes so that was all good.
The mower itself feels very robust but the handle unit a little more lightweight – shouldn’t be a problem but was noticeable. Once both fully charged batteries were plugged into the unit I was away. All very easy.
The mower starts up more gradually that a corded mower and takes maybe 5 seconds to truly be up to speed – it doesn’t have that raw power but once it’s running it’s fine and made short work of the longer grass when allowed to work. Once I was mowing I immediately noticed the quality of the cut which I was very pleased with. I’m used to some old flymo thing which really just used to smash the grass into a green pulp so after a seeing a neat and rollered line of grass after one pass was impressive. As the machine has a reasonably large footprint compared to a flymo for example it’s not possible to get right up to the edge of the lawn on the front to back passes, you’ll need to run side on to get closer in. Doing so left the trickiest bits for the strimmer at then end.
Turning the mower around at the end of the garden for the next pass will require a bit of space, I found myself going forward and back 3 or 4 time to complete the turn. There’s a fair bit of weight in this machine which reduces its manoeuvrability.
That being said my back garden was trimmed in no time at all really. This left the machine indicating that not much charge was left in the batteries. My grass in the back garden is slightly over 60m2. I still had the front to do which is probably 1/4 of that. The batteries gave out towards the end of the front garden, maybe 3/4 of the way through. Overall I reckon I got 70m2 of grass cutting out of one charge – slightly disapointing as now I know I’ll always need to change batteries when doing both lawns. Luckily I had some batteries from a Worx drill I could used to finish the last bit but they were less powerful that the ones supplied so the machine died when it hit the thicker grass. I managed to finish by taking it slower. I should add that I was trimming at the lowest height so a 20mm grass height and in turbo mode for the most power. The lawn was only dense and tall in patches so it’s not like the machine was really labouring the whole way through. And that was with doing one pass down each strip of lawn (the machine impressively only needed one pass, the cut was excellent) and a bit of tidying in awkward areas but without going over areas multiple times as it didn’t need it.
I used a depleted battery for the strimmer and that did all the edging I needed with no issues at all.
The grass collection box is big and basically when it’s full the machine leaves piles of grass on the lawn so that was my prompt for emptying it. The mower is really excellent at hoovering up the cut grass, aside from the grass left when the clippings box is full, the lawn was left pristine. I’ll just empty the box before it gets full next time to avoid that.
The mower is noticeably more quiet than a corded mower too and is really smooth to push up and down the lawn. No vibrations from the handles either. So it’s more pleasant to use in that regard.
A lot of the issues I’ve mentioned so far though, for me, can really be offset by this machine not being corded. It’s so much easier to do a lawn without constantly worrying about where the cord is. The more I’ve thought about it, the more pleased overall I’ve been with the end result – my lawn has stripes!!
Additional high power batteries are available and I may have to invest in some. The machine comes with 2 x 2.0 ah batteries. The ones I used from my drill that kept letting the machine die were 1.3 ah so clearly they simply don’t have the juice. There are 4.0 ah batteries available but they are expensive. I may just opt for 2 more 2.0 ah batteries as then I know I’ll always be able to do the lawns with one quick battery change. If your lawn is in the 50 to 60m2 range or smaller, I don’t think you’ll have issues getting the lawn cut on one charge unless it was totally overgrown.
To sum up, when I’ve looked out over the lawn today after cutting I’ve been genuinely pleased at its appearance. The only lingering concerns I had are about battery life which I can solve (buy more) or manage (top up charge before attempting the front garden). So to be left with an overall positive feeling tells me all I really need to know.

Switched from a plug in flymo and the difference is insane! I had no idea that you could get results like the mower gives. I have only ever used a flymo before this and i’m am saddened that it took so long for me to find out how bad they are and how good life can be with a Worx battery powered mower and strimmer.
At this price you need not hesitate.

I have owned the lawn mower and strimmer for 6 months now. Very good piece of kit. It comes with 2 batteries and when fully charged the lawn mower comfortable does both my lawns. Total run time is about 25-30 minutes. The lawn mower uses both the batteries. The strimmer only uses one and I’ve never ran out of use time with the strimmer. Two very good and worthwhile garden tools.

Well taken me a lot of looking up before taking the gamble from conventional lawn mower too a battery and made up i did no more going threw cable. First i only have small garden but one charge does it brilliantly so would recommend but if you have a large garden then get a bigger spec

Just love this, after having a petrol mower for the last 10 years and not being able to start it till hubby came home from work as cord was too hard to pull we purchased this battery operated mower, well it’s just so easy no effort at all. Our garden is only about 100 sq metres so not big but mowed it in about 10 minutes then used the strimmer with ease. Can highly recommend. I would have preferred the handle to be adjustable with the touch of a button rather than having to adjust the pins at the side as hubby taller than me, but never mind it’s now set for me and will probably be me doing the lawn anyway. I would recommend this set, but I would advise in investing a larger capacity batteries than the ones provided – as they will only store enough power to cut a very small lawn.

Great item with very good battery life. I have been able to cut lawn twice before recharging the batteries.
Good mower for smaller lawns
Good mower for the price and cuts the lawn very neatly. We did have a problem with faulty batteries but Amazon’s customer service were great and sent us some new ones. We have a smallish lawn, not sure the mower would be great for a big lawn as the batteries only last about 25 minutes. We haven’t needed to use the strimmer yet.

Easy to use long charge
Can cut my front and back grass one handed in 1/4 of the time to my old flymo. Only issue it doesn’t pick up the grass as the bin is still empty despite it appearing to be correctly fitted

Mower is nothing special but does the job....strimmer is very good
This is our first battery operated mower and I got the 2 x 20v battery version. I think you can pay more for 2 x 40v batteries which I may do in the future. We have a small area of lawn maybe 40 square metres and it was great not to have to bother with the power cable and risk cutting through it which I have done once before. The battery charger charges both batteries very quickly, you need both to mow. It is very easy to set up, with various mowing height settings. A little disappointed it doesn’t go a tad lower but it’s certainly more than enough for the average garden. If you want/like the bowling green/striped lawn effect this isn’t the mower for you.
The power is underwhelming and I doubt this would tackle long, very thick or wet grass, although really you should strim first and then mow anyway. Speaking of which the strimmer is excellent, as powerful as my old mains strimmer. I’ve not run out of cord yet so not sure how hard it is to replace.
If you have a smallish area of lawn then this is an excellent option for the money.

Very light and manoeuvrable but battery could last longe
Very easy to manoeuvre and very light. Strummer very effective for its size.
Battery life limited on turbo or if grass is long , recharge takes several hours makes it hard to mow twice in one day. Mower would get 5 stars if it was sold with 4 or 6 amp hour batteries instead of the 2 amp hour ones. I will be purchasing these to remove the one frustrating thing about this delightful little mower. My lawn is approximately 300 square metres.
1st purchase of a cordless mowe
Bought to replace 12 year old electric corded mower. This unit is much easier to manoeuvre without having to worry about damage to a cable. Better than expected.
Got to keep grass short or heavy duty mower also req.

This is a fantastic cordless lawnmower. I am small (and weak) but I find this mower very easy to use. The strimmer is also great, lightweight but sturdy, doesn’t leave my muscles aching.

Mower – Excellent for maintaining an established lawn. Not sure how it would cope cutting rough ground. If you have a larger garden advise to buy higher capacity batteries.

Tip – immediately I have finished the lawns I put it back on charge, set a timer for an hour, forget about it, when the timer goes off I can switch the charge off and it is ready to go next time.

I’ve got a lot if Worx power share tools and never been disappointed, and I’m not disappointed with this one either, lightweight, powerful, quiet even leaves nice lines in the lawn. Awesome.
Only just arrived this afternoon, so early impressions, but so far we’re extremely happy. Mower and trimmer came in one box, all cardboard and only a little bubble wrap on tube work. Even packaged together they weren’t a struggle to lift.
Took me about 8 minutes to put together from go, then stuck the two batteries on to charge. The manuals are mostly pictorial and reasonably clear to follow.
Waited for the sun to go off the yard as it’s super hot today – and then off we went. Comfortable and easy to use controls, not too short for us (5’9″ & 5’11”). Lawn was getting leggy after recent rain and heat, so we started on a higher cut and it handled it with ease. Decided to see how long it would last and dropped the deck two notches and went again. Revs were just starting to lower a tiny bit when we finished the second cut on our small yard – but total mowing time would have been about 25 minutes on new batteries, and still showing 2 bars charge.
Trimmer is also super easy, light even with the battery in, and a good length so we don’t have to stoop. Felt very comfortable and the ability to just rotate the head to edge trim is excellent. Quickly trimmed down all the weeds in the driveway paving and paths as well as edged the yard, without making a dint in the battery charge.
Will see how well they last, but for a first run they fulfilled and surpassed expectations, and a total bargain at the price we paid for both. The yard looks the best it’s been for ages, with zero effort. And for me, being able to help him in the garden and do these things without strain or pain is wonderful.

Good product for small lawn, has to be used in turbo all the time to prevent it snagging on grass?
Overall i am satisfied. Just manages mine on 1 charge, may not as batteries age.

This is one of the best things I have bought to be honest. Effortless to use, completely different to my old flymo, no more cable and I wasn’t even tired after cutting the grass! I bought 2 extra batteries, but could probably just get away with the two supplied.

Great mower mows my small lawn easy, I get 3 mows out of one charge. The strimer is exerlent you do have to get your boarder clean before using it the first time. Or you will have stones flying every where

Only 4 stars given as the charge didn’t seem to last very long – might have been due to it being hard worked as the grass was long and wet, but had to be cut! Laster longer on second charge – we will see. Hopefully better on shorter dry grass!

Great set for small garde
Works great for my lawn, can mow the whole area and still have enough in the batteries to trim the edges. I have not tried eco mode yet. The mower is good, and the trimmer is excellent. I have about 100 square meters of lawn with 4 flower beds with log roll edging.

Takes 15mins to cut grass now with this mower – used to take an hour with a larger electric one! Very light and great stripes. Only downside is how long the batteries will last although ok so far. Strimmer is also the best every had. Recommend both.

The box you get is easy to navigate but has a lump of polystyrene (Not happy here(emailed Worx)). pulled all the gubbins out and easy to put together. The entire kit is a little flimsy and the blade on the mower feels like it will dull is seconds but it works. I felt the light weight was a low quality feel but the performance was a winner. It is so easy to blast over my lawn without much noise either. I actually mow my lawn because it easy.

– Very lightweight in comparison with my previous petrol lawnmower. I can pick this up 1 Worx lawnmower 1 handed no problem.
– Strimmer does the job, for both edging and getting into corners.

– Only real negative is battery life, but saying that I get through my 50m2 garden in 50% charge of the batteries.
– Width of cut might be smaller than what people are used to.
Roller is a nice touch, but isnt that effective due to the light weight of machine.

The products arrived nicely packed, the packaging is not excessive and is all cardboard, the stammer comes in two parts which is just push fit the orange back plate just has a one screw fit, it’s nice and easy to use light and does the job
The mower needs the handle put on which is in two parts and four screw fits not hard to do and the handle on the collection bag the rest of the mower is pre fitted it’s very light weight and has a nice cut the cutting height is easy to change and not a hassle
The batteries took two hours to charge first time and I have a medium size lawn back and front and no issues
The collection bag does have a orange indicator when the air is running through it remains open when bag full it’s flat shut just
All in all really pleased great light weight if you struggle with heavy mowers no cable so ok in damp, and better than fuel mowers

Update – 1 month in. Still really impressed. Now tackled a damp long lawn. Coped really well. Glad I bought a spare set of batteries as mowing drained 1 set and I swapped to the then set for strimming – all great. Still gets a strong recommendation from me. Packed away for winter now.
Wow. Been using corded electric mowers for years and after lots of research, and an amazing offer price for both mower and strimmer r of 135, went for this. Ok, so only used it once, but first impressions are amazing. Did a great job on our 3 lawns – total about 250 sq m in 30 mins on shortest cut in eco mode – the battery indicator afterwards was still on 2 bars. The grass was dry and not long, but it still filled 4 grass bins. So easy and no cord is amazing. Then finished off with the strummer which was super lightweight and it now looks great. I bought a second set of batteries – about 60.00 as I was not sure I would get it all done on 1 charge but, in these conditions, just not needed. This may be different when it’s long and damp of course. I will add updates when I’ve been using it for a while. But for now, an easy 5 stars.

Cut the grass well and created stripes with its roller. Do not set the blades to low if your grass is slight longer as it will cut out, keep at a higher setting.

Battery life adequate.
After buying a petrol mower which I found too cumbersome I bought this battery mower and found it very satisfactory and easy to use. The battery life i# not long but satisfactory for my use and adequate for all but the very large lawn.
Bought this to replace my old corded mower and not disappointed. Opened the box put the batteries on charge and assembled the mower which was quite easy as was mostly just the handle, then snapped together the trimmer, again quite easy just the protection guard was a bit fiddly aligning the screw. On the twin charger the batteries took 2 hrs to charge.
Popped the batteries in the mower first and off to the garden which was soggy with dew and around 15cm long, set the cutting length to medium height and off we go. The mower was light to push and cut the grass well until it clogged up as a little wet with dew, cleaned around the blade and grass box and off again. It managed to cut around 50m2 of grass and the batteries lasted 1 hr until down to 1 bar and struggled to cut. Luckily I bought a WORX twin drill set so used the batteries from the drill to attach to the trimmer.
The trimmer also worked great was light weight and did its job.
Overall very happy with the mower, I’m sure it would work better if the grass was dry, the trimmer also worked fine.
For the money a great set for a small garden if you’ve got a bigger garden you will need additional batteries to complete it.

Trouble is the batteries don’t last long, if you select Turbo power then battery power is very quickly consumed
Use Eco power mode then batteries last twice as long for a small area
Highering the wheels helps to overcome the longer grass for cutting
Also on delivery, a part was missing contacted manufacturer who sent the missing part
Shame Worx mower not offered with High 4.0amp/ 6.0amp power batteries instead of the inferior power rating of 2.0amp
Obviously for bigger areas you need the high power batteries so this would be a better option to have a choice of battery power on purchase
The Worx strimmer is great battery lasts well

Im a big worxs tool fan, and this was an absolute brilliant purchase. 150 on prime day with a strimmer. So the lawn mower is very well built. Its not as light as my old flymo, but not as heavy as my petrol. Easy to assemble and an absolute doddle to connect the batteries. We have 3 lawns, one which is 6m x 30m, 6mx6m and 5mx 5m and it easily cut these on eco power and i still had charge left to use one battery in the strimmer. to do all 3 lawns took 20m an saving of 30mins easliy, no woories with cables at all. The grass box isnt massive which is the only minor issue. I know have the drill set, hydro shot, strimmer and lawn mower…hedge trimmer is nex
Loving this Mower.
It cuts great, so easy to manouvre (albeit a little long so it requires a little 3 point turn some-times) and whip around not worrying about a cord, just leave it on “turbo” mode as eco is just for cutting the very tips of grass and will bog down as soon as it hits anything substantial.
The battery life is HEAVILY dependent on 2 factors.
The Moistness of the ground and the length of the grass.
You can be happily mowing your garden, and it showing 80% remaining. Then you hit a particularly thick bit and it drops to 20% remaining in a flash as it assumes the rest of the garden is like that!
It mows my relatively small back garden and fills its bag up with 50% remaining. Took it to my parents to test it on their (semi-overgrown) larger garden and it only got halfway through.
It seems a good rule of thumb is 2 bag fulls on these batteries. If you require 4 empties on your garden; I highly recommend the larger 4Ah batteries available for 60 each. Pricy, but it’ll double your mowing time.
The strimmer is just… a good strimmer! Nothing to report. Foldable, ergonomic, very easy to use and store.
