This is great quality,lock system works a treat,and I’ve tried a few but this is the best.only negative is it came without the end to keep batteries in the light so we can’t use it, can’t send it back as need it straight away.

Brilliant lead. Took a while to figure out that a cage for the batteries is inside the torch (palm firmly attached to forehead). Once all was figured out though. Nice and bright for easy pooh picking at night.

A good value for money lead
Bought this to replace a broken extendable lead.
The lead itself is of a large size but it’s not too big but you would expect that if it’s for larger dogs. Its construction seems to be sturdy as far as I have found after taking the dog for walks. It’s long lead length enables the dog have a good level of freedom to go off and explore. The light on top is okay, it doesn’t shine too far but its bright and if it’s a little dark its quite capable of lighting a small distance in front to be able to see where you are going. The attached dog bag holder underneath which clips on actually comes with dog bags in which was a very nice surprise and they seem to be of a standard roll size. It’s clip which attaches it to the lead is a little stiff to get on and off but I take it off and carry the dog bags in my pocket when I go out with the dog so it’s no real issue.
In all, it so far has proved to be well made, capable, and strong. In my opinion it’s worth the money and performs as it should. The only minor issue that I have is the retraction of the lead when it is at full length, it could do to be a bit stronger but this is only a minor detail.
It’s a good lead, when I’ve looked on the highstreet at comparative leads of this size and length they’ve been a lot more money making this one, again in only my opinion, a good buy.

Really feel that this is very safe,it is strong,has a substantial lead, The locking mechanism is very well made and gives a feeling of security.After all no one wants their dog to suddenly run without being able to halt them and avoid a serious situation.Very happy with this product.

Impressed with this, the lead goes out and returns smoothly and locks easily. The torch is powerful enough to see your dog well when the lead is extended the full length and clips securely on the top of the lead. Comfortable to hold too.
To big
To big and cumbersome, I have big hands XL gloves but this thing is huge. whilst I managed to hold it well despite this the locking mechanism is a push and lock, The preferred method for me is a push button that then needs to be locked separately. As someone with a boisterous dog I occasionally need to stop him in his tracks this I can do with this but when I want to wind the lead in to lock again as I pull him back it became a faff especially given its size… unfortunately I gave it time to grow on me and it didn’t if I could return I would.
Great extender lead
Nice lockable extendable lead, wanted for a holiday, don’t usually use an extender, added bonus torch for dark night poopies, and supplied with poopie bags, great for what we wanted it for.
OK but need to get used to it.
The lock release is not easy to use when one wants to rapidly shorten the lead. The lead is also rather slow to retract. And not sure how resistant it is to chewing!

An extendable dog lead for those with large hands
Being on the large size, its size is suitable for someone with large hands. Its weight is probably heavier than smaller leads available, however its weight is not noticable when walking the dog. Probably not suitable for someone with small hands as they may have difficulty putting their thumb on the locking mechanism.
Retractable Lead
Its great my whippet puppy loves it, she enjoys the freedom of movement. The built in torch is very useful too. I sometimes struggle with the unlock system on the handle, but its probably me. Overall happy walkies time!

Good quality robust dog lead with attached torch and a Very useful poo bag holder with included bags and the torch on top is great for checking where he has done his business! The torch is also detachable. The lead clip is very strong and robust and the extendable lead has the usual lock and retract facility easily accessible with the thumb. Also suit a person with larger hands and feels comfortable with large Labrador on the end. The length of the lead is brilliant as its longer than most and the lead quality is also very nice and smooth and looks and feels very strong. I would recommend this for large dog owners.

Two mini dachshunds, one pulls on fear to run home and the other is excitable, and this lead is great. It doesn’t yank as much once both dogs leap and the safety feature of the lead not unlocking when pulling is great. The ribbon lead instead of the thread lead has put my mind at great ease too. The handles are huge, but you would expect so with some much lead to retract. Great value for money!

Good retractable lead overall. Maybe a bit heavier than other ones I had but quite sturdy. One negative note about the lead when is extended doesn’t always retract quick enough. The small torch is quite handy.

his is great coz the lead is so long, it locks ok, the only negatives are the poo bag holder bangs against the lead when your walking so i just took it off, and when the lead is wet it can get stuck but you just pull the lead out a tiny bit and it sorts it right out. the torch is great quite bright for the size of it and its easy to remove from the handle. its a great product worth the money

I bought this as a Christmas present for my son’s dog. The handle is comfortable to hold for the three hand sizes who used it, the built in torch is very good and ideal for night walks (finding poo as well as looking for obstacles). Attached Torch Is Brilliant Idea
Wow I cant believe that nobody thought of this years ago. A dog lead with a torch attached is a brilliant idea. This makes it so much easier to walk my dogs in the dark and the fact that the torch aims downwards where we are walking is great.
The lead itself seems very strong and easy to use, the attached doggy bags are very helpful. But as it saves me from either having to carry a torch or having a light in my hat to see where my dogs and I are going the attached torch is a must. This is a great lead for a dog walker.

This product is very practical, it is very strong when the dog is disturbed. Easy to use and also has a hook to hang the bags.The design looks strong and with endurance.

Good bit of kit but lost the light off the top came off once found it in the Dark but must of lost it again as it’s not on the lead now, also had to take the poop bag off the lead as it was annoying but that might just be me. Said that the lead is decent and hold a large Dog who likes to pull

I find this lead does twist quite a lot when my very strong springador is running around. The tape doesn’t feel particularly strong and could be wider and thicker, and I have to untwist it before it retracts. The design of the handle is good but overall it isn’t the bes

Received the leas the very next day after ordering. Tried it out for our dogs evening walk and must say that it worked perfectly well. There’s a long 16 foot extension to the lead, and it come with a doggie bags dispenser complete with bags and a handy detachable LED torch ! First class, thank you for your prompt delivery and quality of product, would have no hesitation in recommending this product.
I ordered this lead for my Labrador pup for when we take him on holidays. I was worried it wouldn’t be sturdy enough to cope with him as he is quite big and strong but it was perfect. It enabled him to have a roam around but a still had him under control at all times. The only problem was that when it retracts the tape part of the lead gets jammed in the handle but it was easy and quick to resolve so I didn’t find this detrimental. I ordered the lead for holiday use only, and only swap him onto it once in open spaces so can’t comment on reliability long term but it seems strong and great valued for money.
So I have two very strong and pretty big, hyper dogs. They pull at every stage of the walk. Its not a lot of fun! So finding a retractable lead that is up to the job has proven very difficult. If you have not been satisfied with other retractable leads then I recommend you try these if you have medium or larger hands. If you have very small hands then this might not be the lead for you.

Other thoughts…
I don’t like the one button retractable leashes on the market I find them difficult to quickly lock or unlock unless conditions are perfect. This leash uses a system I have not seen before. It took a walk to get used to it. Initially I thought it was a flop but now it is perfectly intuitive. Although you can not release the leash if the dog is pulling (this could be considered a safety feature) so far I have been able to engage the leash lock at any moment.
These leashes are really big. I have to walk two dogs at the same time with one leash in each hand. In order to do this I had to remove the torch attached to the top of each leash case or they were just to large to maneuverer.
In conclusion…
These are the best leads I have been able to find and if you have the hands for them you will be pleased you found them too. I can not predict if they will last the spring mechanism looks like it could fatigue with regular use but I plan to buy two more as back ups because of the features that I like. I have still not found the perfect dog leash and this one could be improved in some areas but it is the best on the market (that I have found) for my big dogs and the price is reasonable too.
I will update this if either leads stop working prematurely (and amazon let me update) but for now I say… your dog leash search is over.

Wasn’t keen on the little blue bone for the poop bags that dangled on it, as this broke after the first use, very flimsy, however, this really does not matter in the slightest!
The lead is good and strong for our Cava-Inu, he’s an almost-medium sized dog who is extremely strong and does sometimes pull if he sees a bird or two, and this easily stands up to his tugging and pulling.
He loves going out on this lead, its easy to use, easy to lock, and has helped us teach our boy to stay close when out walking.
It is big, and a little heavy at first, but we got used to this very quickly! And the Torch is great at night, shines exactly where he;s walking, and makes our pup feel less scared of the dark! lol x Good price, comes with some poop bags, and no batteries.

This lead is super sturdy and well made. I found it a bit heavy at first but am used to it now. My dog is medium size but very strong. I like the torch but have taken it off to use in winter.

This is perfect, ribbon leash and a handy torch for letting road users know you are there and for finding anything your dog leaves behind for which there is a handy bag dispenser attached. Only one negative which is it is heavier than other leashes I have had but saying that it is a quality item. Would highly recommend.
This is a sturdy leash that does the job although my previous, different model had better retraction. with this lead it sometimes does not retract fast enough and gets caught under his feet. The torch fitting and pooh bag holder are both a nice ideas and very practical although not incredibly secure as they have fallen off a couple of times.

This lead is absolutely brilliant. It’s strong but not heavy to carry. We have a bouncy 18 month old staffy who is very excitable and loves nothing better than playing & she is very strong. The lead holds up brilliantly when she pulls & when she plays. The torch is a brilliant help at night when she goes out. This is the 2nd lead I bought. The 1st one from a different seller and it was crap, lead kept getting jammed. This one I can tell by the look and sound of the retraction of lead that it is better and you get the doggy bag’s n holder. And it’s cheaper than the 1st one I purchased.
