Xvive U2 operates on 2.4GHz ISM band with a latency of only 6ms and coverage of about 20 linear meters. Built-in lithium-ion batteries have a battery life of 5 hours for each full charge via USB. The transmitter and receiver shells have been manufactured with a robust ABS plastic, they are lightweight and durable as required by use on stage. The success of Xvive U2 on the market is due to its ease of use and minimal footprint.
Transmitter and receiver fit into the output of your instrument and in the input of your headboard, a pedal, a mixer, a preamp or directly into your sound card. The transmitter and receiver shells are freely adjustable so you can place them as you like.
1. Connect the transmitter to the guitar or bass and receiver to the headboard, mixer, pedal, or other
2. Turn on the transmitter and receiver and make sure the blue LED of both emit the same number of flashes to confirm the tuning on the same channel.
3. After alignment, the LED will remain fixed access.
4. It sounds!
Bought Xvives 12 months ago.
Didn’t work for me.
Called the manufacturer and they changed them no questions asked – very good service from the guys.
New ones work great.
Worth paying bit extra for the quality & backup from manufacturer.
Works well, probably not quite as good as an actual guitar to amp cable, but convenient and allows more freedom due to it’s range.
Really easy to use and did everything wanted. Very easy to charge through supplied connector cable.
Have no complaint. Had these for over a month and I am very satisfied. Price is high but it is worth it. Would recommend to buy.
Amazing,
It is pricey, but the results are great.
Elimate the cables.
I’m buying more for our team.
Bought these initially for use at home as I often move to and from the computer while practising guitar. Very easy to set up and I can’t tell any difference in sound between these and using a cable. I have also used these recently at a few gigs and it is so much better not having a cable to trip over when squeezed up on a tight stage! The other great thing is that you can stand out front when doing a sound check which is very useful. They are made of plastic but feel fairly sturdy although the only thing I’d be a bit picky about is the on/off switches don’t feel as good as the rest of the unit. Overall I’m very pleased and glad I’ve made the move to wireless. I don’t think I’ll look back now.
The Xvive U2 is a doddle to use, & far less hassle than a conventional lead. It’s a lot brighter than my lead, which means I can’t get away with clumsy playing & I have had to clean up my act a bit, which I don’t mind. Humbuckers tend to drive the system a lot harder than single coils, but I have no complaints. It’s a good bit of kit supplied by Wildwire Guitars who are on the ball. Downside is the price, but , Wildwire are the cheapest if you want the Xvive.
he first one had a duff battery so i returned it. replacement arrived fast and works wel and I’m lead free!!
battery life good
It took me a whle to realise you need to turn on receiver first, now no problems.
If only the labelling were clearer which unit was which – I’ve put a sticker on for when its dark at a gig or forget my reading glasses!!
Been using them for a while now with no issues. My only minor complaint is that they’re a very loose fit in the jack but this doesn’t have any adverse effects. One of my jamming mates has a set and there’s no interference.
I have had these for a few months and rehearse and gig with them. They havnt let me down and the sound is good.
Easy to pair and set up, system has a good 5 hour play time before recharging required
I used mini velcro pad to secure transmitter plug body to guitar as it was a little loose and moved quite easily, no big deal.
This is an amazing device that puts wireless gigging within reach of most peoples pockets. Easy to use, set and charge and no decernable latency.
These are very good. No noticeable latency(sound delay). Easy to setup and stylish. Good playtime between charges. Well packaged and presented.
The very same product on e-bay is less than 25.00 so buying through Amazon cost me an additional 75 – 78. My fault for not researching more thoroughly. I thought Amazon would be better in terms of delivery and quality – it appears not!
The product is however good and I’m pleased with the performance. The fit into a surface mount of a guitar is a bit floppy and sticks out too much. Would be better into a Fender Stratocaster type jack socket.
Whatever these units do won’t take away the bad taste I have after being ripped off though.
Bought it as a temporary measure (monster cable died, planned g10s i was saving for was a few months away) for live shows. This thing is brilliant! I run around like a mad man, on some biiig stages and it’s never let me down. Easy to use, can’t tell the difference between this and my Monster signal-wise, and the USB charge means no battery fears. Love this wireless, if it broke I’d buy the same again, easy.
Lovel it – works so well and the range is brilliant , good quality solid product and great length of usage between charges.
Very pleased with these. Charged quickly and are simple to use. We’ve used them in the house and at an open mic in a bar and they worked fine every time. They work straight from the guitar or from a loop pedal. There’s no noticeable latency.
Delivery was good too – goods arrived on time.
The exvive wireless system works really well. I use them on my electric guitars and active and passive acoustic guitars. Easy to setup and use with plenty playing time before they need recharging which doesn’t take long.?
Brilliant present that was well received. I was dubious about how well they would work as I know my brother would never use them if the sound was effected or if there was any drop between the amp and guitar. However they have been perfect and he loves them!
This product does exactly as it says – I plugged the receiver into my foot pedal, the transmitter into my guitar, turned them on and, hey presto, just worked. Used it for the first time in a noisy practice room and they were perfect. Amazing sense of freedom not having to tread carefully around cables!! Never going back…
I guess i was expecting a delay from when you pick the string and the sound playing – but nope, it’s pretty much instant (as best as I can tell).. Impressed so far but I’ll give it a more thorough trial over the next few weeks..
These were a gift for my guitarist friend.
He is very into his tech gizmos and he had not heard of these so it was a double whammie!
Because they are Bluetooth, there is no loss like older radio devices.
You are able to walk around for soundchecks etc without being limited by the coax lead.
I have been using a Line 6 G30 system on and off for a few years now but it’s not the most reliable of equipment. Some gigs it’s fine whilst at others it keeps dropping out. I ran a scan at the last gig to see if there was anything interferring with it but there wasn’t. So having read a number of very positive reviews on the Xvive system I decided to give that a go instead.
First impressions were good. I know you can’t go by the packaging but the system comes in a quality box and is well cushioned inside. It comes with a receiver, a transmitter and a dual USB charging lead so that both the receiver and transmitter can be charged at the same time from one USB charging port. Both units were probably almost fully charged out of the box as after 20 minutes of charging the charging LED went out which I assume means they are fully charged.
Next you just switch on both units and select one of the four channels to use. To change channel just press the channel button and the channel LED will flash a number of times indicating the channel that you’re on e.g. flashes twice for channel 2, etc. Plug the receiver into your amp or effects pedal and the transmitter into the guitar and away you go. The body of the units can fold either way so it is relatively unobtrusive. One thing that did catch me out was that I had the receiver plugged into my GT100 and folded the body down onto the top of the unit. On using the expression pedal I accidentally pushed it out of the input jack. That’s obviously a very specific case but it’s worth bearing in mind that these units are far easier to accidentally knock out of an input or output jack unlike a cable. I’m tempted to gaffa them in place just to reduce any chance of an accidental disconnection. I might also try to modify the input and output jacks the secure a small cable tie that will hold the unit in place. Probably a bit OTT but I worry about these things.
Performance wise it’s been faultless so far. I’ve done a couple of gigs with it and I’ve had no drop outs. Tone wise you seem to lose a little bass but a quick tweek of the amp EQ fixes that.
The other thing that I love about this unit is that unlike the Line 6 unit you don’t need to use a power adaptor to run the receiver. I set-up and run the PA for my band so anything that reduces set-up time is a bonus as well as reducing the number of power outlets required.
Absolutely love this piece of kit. I’ll update this review as time goes on especially in regards to reliability/drop outs.
Just to confirm all the positive reviews. Lots of advice about these say they’re best with piezo (under-the-bridge) pickups but my Fishman Rare Earth soundhole pickup works beautifully with the xvive. I’m guessing that wouldn’t be true of the (more expensive) Rare Earth Blend design with its built-in microphone – I have another guitar fitted with an LRBaggs Lyric mic-based system and the U2 just fails to recognise the signal.
I was fed up with being tied to my amp with a lead and thought I’d give these a try. Absolutely brilliant! No difference to the sound you get from a lead connection and you can wander off into the distance, still playing! I don’t get tangled up in my lead any more. Wish I’d had these years ago!
I’d recommend this for just jamming or could be used for gigs.
Great little gadgets, pretty easy to set up and use.
I have not had them long enough to determine their durability but the convenience of plug and play is pretty nice. I also very much appreciate that I can use my Shure microphone to go wireless without having to replace the equipment I’ve already spent a lot of money on.
Two Thumbs up
Thank you COCO and your staff for all the support and guidance you provided me with your product.
Been using these at a few gigs now – no interference, 100% reliable connection, and battery life of over 5 hours means that no worries when gigging, and also fine for extended rehearsal sessions.
The only niggle is that it only just fits in my Ibanez SR650 which has a very recessed socket, designed to avoid the cable pulling out, and the transmitter is then too close to the passive/active eq switch and tone control, but as I don’t generally make use of them once set, it is not a biggy. Fine on my Fender bass and Fender American Strat and electro-acoustic no name guitar.
Amazing product, great price, delivered swiftly in safe packaging. What more could you want?
Trs bien, un peu de perte de tonalit, mais sommes toute un excellent wireless pour le prix.
Overall a good product. Sound quality is flawless. Very easy to use. I’ve not used them in a gig environment, but for practicing it’s just one less barrier to playing. I just pick up my guitar, flick the switches and play, rather than plugging in cables, trailing over the floor, etc. It’s a small thing, but does make a difference to usability.
Only slight negative I would say is that I mainly play a Les Paul, and because of the design, the transmitter doesn’t sit very well in the guitar. I expect it’s much more snug into a strat with a recessed cable socket, but where the socket is flush with the surface/ side of the guitar, the transmitter sticks out. Again, not a massive deal, but it could be better.
This Wireless Microphone System is Awesome !!!!
I play as a one man band at all type of events. I have been using the Xvive U2 wireless guitar system since it was introduced at the NAMM show in Anaheim last year, and now with the Wireless Microphone System U3 and my wireless speakers I can play anywhere. I received the U2 about 1 year ago and have been using it for all my shows. Exceeds all my expectations and the Quality is unbelievable. Simply plug in the transmitter and receiver and you ready to go in under a minute. I have played several events lasting 4 hours and have been able to play the entire event on a single charge. I highly recommend this product. I really like leaving the stage and roaming though the audience.
Walls don’t seem to affect the range or signal (within reason) as I moved a good 20 metres away with 2 walls between me and my guitar and and the amplifier into which the receiver was connected with no problems whatsoever.
No apparent latency or noise.
The only possible fly in the ointment is that the rechargeable battery appears not to be user accessible so when it ultimately fails it cannot be replaced however I’ll research this more and update as and when…. other than that highly recommended.
Update 02/11/2018: I received confirmation from the seller that the internal battery is not user accessible.
In addition I have noticed that there is a bit if a ‘stutter’ fairly often which interrupts the signal. Nothing major for bedroom use but could be a problem for stage use… possibly interference?
The sound quality was even better than with a great quality cable. Come into the 21st century…… surprised me
But no going back!
I am using mine in the studio, church, small clubs and the sound is excellent, clear signal, 100% noise free, very quiet and reliable.
Of course, if you are going to play at the Madison Square garden and run all over like Slash, then you need a professional UHF system priced around $400-$500, otherwise, this unit is an excellent choice. I highly recommend this product.
I bought a pair of these a few weeks ago and, so far, they are performing very well. I’ve tried them on my Line 6 Variax, my acoustic and even on my cigar box guitar and they work fine. They should fit MOST, (but not all!), 1/4 inch jack sockets, all depends on the design of your guitar around the jack socket.
The sound is accurately reproduced whether going straight into my amp or via my pedal board. Battery life seems very good and would easily last for a gig. The range quoted seems realistic and if you reach it’s maximum, you will know as the sound will start to break up. It does seem strange, to begin with, playing some distance away from your rig with no cable! I have taken my guitar outside whilst the amp is still in the house – fantastic!
The batteries don’t appear to be user replaceable, so only time will tell how long they will last. I only hope the Xvive U2’s have a long reliable life! Highly recommended.
No tripping or lead in the way and no difference in sound.
I purchased this Xvive unit to replace a very well made and excellent Sony wireless guitar system. So, my I expected that this unit would be noticeably inferior to my Sony unit. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I was not able to discern any difference in signal quality between this 2.4GHZ Xvive unit and my 2.4GHZ Sony unit.
The charge lasts more than long enough for your typical gig and recharging is quite fast. Simply plug-in both the transmitter and receiver the night before use with the supplied ‘Y-USB cable’ and you should have enough charge to get through all but the longest gig. I have not tested the battery life beyond my 90min needs though – so your mileage might vary.
You can also purchase multiple transmitters which you can use with a single receiver. This is great for it allows you to have multiple guitars ‘ready to go’ on stage. Simply pick up a different instrument, and switch the unit on (make sure you turn the other transmitter off first). Great functionality for those who need to play multiple instruments with little delay in switching.
A luxury item for a guitarist but it has given me freedom from cables and that has been a pleasure. Reliable connection, quality sound and no drop outs.
Didn’t realize until I was messaged directly by the supplier that this is a small business operation. Product is great. Well manufactured and works exactly as it should. I must admit I don’t know much about interferences, but I do notice a small breakup in signal when I’m near my WiFi router or playing near a Bluetooth speaker. Other than that, reliable for shows, battery charge lasts plenty. Overall everything I was hoping for. I do have hot pickups on my Fender Strat and I don’t use the S1 switch so I have not had the same issues with that. Can’t confirm otherwise, but no complaint. Thanks XVive! More Instagram posts coming soon 😉
So far I’ve played two 3 hour gigs with these and they haven’t given me any problems. It’s an absolute game changer to not have to worry about tripping over your own cable or getting tangled with another band member. I’m a bass player and move around quite a bit during shows. I also use them in my home studio and the freedom to walk around with my instrument is great. They’re super easy to use, I don’t see myself ever going back to gigging with a cable. Of course I still carry a standard 1/4 inch instrument cable in my gig bag, JUST in case these Xvive ever do fail or die on me. I trust these will last a long time, and I would definitely purchase them again if I had to.
Works great on my 2017 Fender Elite Jazz Bass. I was wondering how it would work on my active bass but no buzz or any crazy noise. Niiiiice, no more cord. Would defiantly recommend it to anyone. Sounds great in our studio monitor system.
All I can say is “No More Cords”. Thank you, thank you. These are amazing.
They perform exactly as advertised so far. Their size, price, sound and convenience are great. Highly recommended.
had one of these for quite a while now. works faultlessly, and is really handy if, like me, you tend to swap instruments in a gig. never had any problems with signal. Have even run 3 of these devices simultaneously within a band with no issues.
long range and free of wires .. who could ask for anything more, especially for the price.
I TRULY love these things. I really only have used them around the house so far, but I can wander off a couple rooms with the guitars in my hands and can still hear ’em from the amps. Haven’t done a complete “distance” test, but it is SO great to NOT be tripping over cords, turning around and getting tangled up in them. It’s like the difference when we all went from those wall phones of 20-30 years ago to wireless phones that we could carry around the house. A whole new sense of freedom.
I DO get an occasional momentary (like split seconds) of “drop out” but nothing particularly worrisome. If I play for 30 minutes, I MIGHT hear it happen once or twice. Other days, I won’t hear it at all.
Sound transmission sounds (other than the above sporadic dropouts) just like I was wired in – just without the annoying cable wrapping up my feet. I plug them in to charge after every 3-4 sessions – probably a couple hours of playing and haven’t had any “Oh crap it’s dead” moments yet. I have accidentally left them on though and found them dead. Ruined my day. Just couldn’t bring myself to use that cable LOL.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
It is because of this slight change that I can’t whole heartily give it a 5 star rating. I really do want to give it 5 stars, but it is not ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. It is very close though.. if I could I’d give it a 4.8/5 because I’m picky like that.
Furthermore, I just finished comparing this to a much more expensive system that my rhythm owns, the Shure GLXD16 which runs for $450 right now. Typically my logic is don’t cheap out on anything, because you get what you pay for, but I was willing to take the gamble with this after much review reading across several different products. Virtually all wireless systems use the same 2.4 Ghz radio channel so TECHNICALLY there can’t really be to huge of a difference between them. Working in the IT field give’s me a bit more insight to general technology like this.
Back to the comparison. There was virtually NO difference between the two. the Shure actually seemed to add the slightest bit more of compression to my tone, but I’m 99% sure this was mostly my imagination. The sure does have a nicer, more sturdy design, and the functionality of a built in tuner/mute button is great if you don’t already have both of those functions. which I do.
One thing I did see a lot of while reading up, was that people highly recommend NOT to use this in for a live performance. I’ve used this about 5+ times live now and it functions perfectly fine! I honestly don’t know what they’re on about. It is possible that many wireless signal can cause interference, and lots of venues (the ones I’ve been playing at included) now use lots of wireless gear, so there’s that. But for signal interference to be noticeable with this particular system, you have to have your signal emitters right next to other wireless emitters. At least from my experience. As a test I stood right next to my Wi-Fi router (about 20-30 feet between myself/transmitter, and the amp/receiver) WHILE I had my 4 band mates play around on my Wi-Fi to induce signal trafficking. I never lost signal or had breakage in my playing once. same thing for all my live performances. I have never experienced breakage or lost signals with this thing.
Pros:
SUPER compact, lightweight, and “out of the way”
Simple plug and play.
Battery life is INCREDIBLE! (I play about 8 hours a week, and only charge these things once about every 5-6 weeks.)
Stays plugged in despite being so lightweight, and i like to move around and headbang a lot on stage.
Multiple channels will help to further avoid interference. (Especially when multiple wireless signals are around you.
Neat packaging, and selection of colors.
Cons:
Being so lightweight makes it feel a bit flimsy, so it might not hold up against heavy damage. Plastic shell exterior will more than likely break against to much impact.
“Digital”ness mentioned earlier.
I HIGHLY recommend this wireless system. It’s hella bang for your buck, and holds up well against other high dollar competitors. My standards can be unrealistically high sometimes so don’t let the price tag, or negative reviews who accidentally received a faulty product (which I’m sure the company could replace if you reach out to them) discourage you.
Just to reiterate: I do REALLY want to give this a full 5 STAR rating, but it’s only about 95% perfect. Maybe I’ll come back and change it if it continues to grow on me. My original plan was to use this for now, and upgrade to the Shure system later, but I’m starting to see no reason in changing systems now. So maybe I’ll change it to 5… Maybe…
Great product, works very well. However I have not yet tried to use it within close proximity to wi-fi hub or other blue-tooth devices. Great for my needs.
Brilliant piece of kit. Played in a church worship band on sunday where there is limited space, much better not fettered by an attached cable. No dropout or tone loss even when I walked around up to 60-70 feet away from the receiver. Very satisfied.
Brilliant piece of kit easy to set up and use …does exactly what it says on the box
I tend to move around a bit and, i probably always turn on the same side because i was always tangled up in my cable. This works like a charm and i can only recommend it.
Used on stage; no issues with connectivity or interference. Very happy with purchase.
Mine might be somewhat defective. They seem to have some issues “warming up.” I plug them in and turn them on, but the sound breaks up for a few minutes, but then seem to kick in after that brief time frame. Otherwise, they work great and even seem to have better signal processing than using a really high quality cord. Very clear & even somewhat of a boosted signal, and distance is good with no apparent diminishing of the signal within that 100-foot range.
his is awesome.best wireless Ive ever owned.highly recommended.buy one.you wont be disappointed.
In short, absolutely brilliant.Have fully recommended to other guitarists who I play with on s regular basis.Cant fault it, don’t hesitate, buy it.
Well worth the cost!!
The Xvive U2 wireless guitar performs excellent on my Guild Acoustic. I intend to buy another one for my Mandolin.
Spot on, as good as i hoped they would be – great not having that tie to the amp. Freedom!!!
Had a problem with first set received and ask Axe Music Inc. to help me
My 5 stars goes to the quality of service they provided and manufacturer to look after issues.
In a busy household a conventional guitar lead was often tripped over. Also, whilst playing sitting down a conventional jackplug would often get caught on the chair.
I have only used this on small practice amps but have found the signal to be stable, and it has not cracked up, whilst I was considerable distances from the amp.
I am very pleased with my purchase.
exactly as promised , good price and good quality. would recommend this item for sure
Very light and easy to use and store. Charges quickly.
A great little device. I haven’t tried them yet in a gig environment but they seem to work flawlessly and even with two bass guitars that have active pickups. No perceivable lag in the signal and sound very neutral – much smaller and more convenient than traditional guitar transmitters
I read in a few reviews that there are problems with active pickup instruments but decided to take the plunge anyway. Yes I had a problem with dropouts and a loud hum. After spending the night giving the issue some thought decided to move the transmitter away from the instrument using a patch cord and placing the transmitter on my strap or belt, after doing this works great. I did have to purchase a female to female adapter for the patch cord. After moving the transmitter away from the instrument the sound quality is very good and great range but because of the proximity issue dropped down to 4 stars
It works, no noise, possibly slightly brighter than a cable, which is to be expected. Battery life about as expected so far, 5 hours with some power to spare when recharging as it seems to only take around 1.5 to charge back to full
excellent so far and not one drop out for my first gig
Always a bit dubious with the lower priced items like this but really pleased with the build quality . So simple to get going , wi -fi was disrupted but changing the channels fixed the prob . Would defo recommend this product . If Chappers endorses it on utube It,s good enough for me .
I just received this week. ($201 Canadian to my door) Shipped from PA SHOP London Ont and was packaged well and came earlier than expected.Product was extremely easy to setup and had no interference issues others have posted. I used it at my church with no issues. One complaint the USB to dual Micro USB charge cable was defective on one of the micro USB(an inexpensive replacement) My setup was an older acoustic guitar with Fishmen Problend on-board pickup (mic and under saddle combo) to a JDI Radial passive DI box to the churches phantom powered PA. Sound was excellent and I did not have to change an EQ or volume setting. The sound blended well with all the amplified instruments and vocalists in the group. These new cheaper wireless units are a great leap in technology for those of us who do not want to spend pro-gear dollars of $800+ for wireless!
IEM feed straight from the desk into my headphone amp. Great
And for just doodling about around the house.
Bass player beware makes a noise with active circuit on.
But for around the house and IEM it’s perfec
I found this guitar wireless system to be wonderful! I have used it for band practice and just played my first full (3 sets) bar gig with the Xvive U2 and was very pleased with it. I did power off the xmiter & receiver during our breaks in between sets just to conserve battery power. It’s super compact, I can switch guitars with ease and there’s really no difference in sound when using a guitar cable or going wireless with the Xvive U2 in my opinion. For the price (~160 dollars), I was expecting a tinny, degraded, unusable guitar signal and I was pleasantly surprised when I first plugged it in. For those guys and gals that have been wanting to go wireless but balked at the price and complexity, this is the system that you want.
Great product wander about stage no leads to trip up o
Finally a wireless system that is affordable, lightweight and works! I love it so much I did a YouTube review! Search “will hessey xvive” for my thoughts on this great product.
THESE THINGS WORK AMAZING !! no delay no static no sound cut outs no tone sucking. battery lasts long time i just play at home so its great. if you wanna lose the cable this is a great buy.
A date excellent produit !!!
In terms of the performance, it didn’t let me down over a 3 hour set. No delay and the only change to my sound was a slight tweak on the EQ on the amp for slightly less treble and a touch more bass. Minimal though and would highly recommend.
These items were not for me but , My son said they did the job as expected
[Update May 31, 2017]
Xvive contacted me about the rattling noise I was experiencing and offered to replace the unit. I accepted and received a replacement that does not rattle. This was then tested with a Bridge Aquila, Jordan and a couple of Zeta Violins and all seem to work very well.
I bought this back in February and have been timid to write a review until I thoroughly tested the system but it’s been a couple of months now and I can’t stop recommending them to my friends so I thought I might as well write it. This system rocks! I play in a small indie band in Dallas and practice about 9 hours a week at 3 hours a session and i’ve gone multiple sessions without even having to recharge them. I’ve never lost the signal and have gone over 50 yards away from the receiver with it. I will continue to carry a spare cable with me in the case that I do run into problems in the future and will also update this review if that happens.
With the units being rechargeable and at a very competitive price, the U2 wireless system is a no brainer.
Works well enough. Like the design better than the G10 because its easier to plug these in than to deal with a large bass unit. Couldn’t see using that with my pedal board but the U2 could really work. I do get pops or clicks every once in a while in my apartment since I am using this with my Wifi computer and amplitude etc.. . The orientation of the receiver really matters it seems, turn it a different direction and get a really different level of connection. Great for practice and having one less cable. Latency is low enough to use it with my Ipad Pro. Not sure that I would record with it but its great for everything else. Make your dynamic vocal mic wireless?
Originally gave this a one star rating. Glad I gave it a second chance and reordered. I have a line 6 g10 and this is so much smaller and goes further than the g10. Sound wise, I think the g10 has some type of noise reduction circuitry. The xvive isn’t noisy but the g10 is quiet. This sounds more like a cable to my ears. The sound while playing is great. No sound gets cutoff at the end of a note. Feedback can still be coaxed out of it too. I like the fact that it’s so minimalistic. No cable needed like the g10 needs. No outlet needed either. The build feels better on the g10 but the xvive isn’t far behind. I wish they had a charging dock for them. Other than that these are great. I was able to get about 300 feet away through 4 walls with them vs about 150 ft with 2 walls with the g10. Both should serve fine for most stages.
