Bought this after trying a cheaper alternative that was disappointing. A well made printer that was doing like it says on the box a short time after plugging it in. Worth the extra money, recommended.

I bought this printer for my partner. He needed a printer for labels. And what I can say it’s perfect, does what it says easy to set up and print. Trough phone or computer. Print is clear and great quality, just print it, take it and slap it wherever it needs to be sticked to. Bye bye cello tape, we won’t miss you.

Very happy with this. Purchased to print eBay/Royal Mail/UPS postage labels via iPhone or iPad. The app is easy to use and intuitive. The device is so easy to use. Just load the label cartridge, connect to your device(s) of choice and off you go.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI am a business user and send letters – maybe c. 20 letters per week. I started to use the post office print your own a few months ago as the post office queue time was ridiculous, but this is largely due to staff being terrorised by customers who have no patience with pandemic issues, but also I suspect due to underpaid staff. Anyway, I was fed up using prit-stick or sellotape, so bought this and I love it. It is super easy and works on wifi from my computer. I understand it has Bluetooth but I have not used this yet. The printing menu has high or low quality, but it definitely needs high quality as low looks a bit washed out. No problems and all my letters make it. When the printing is done on the computer, the Zebra printing thing makes it the right size to just print the label. So nice n easy!

Works really well, integrating with ebay and royal mail. The labels are pricey but worth it in my opinion as they stick well and look good.
Integrations for other delivery services connect too. But I’ve not gone through to purchase and print yet, just connected to my account.
Being wireless I have it set up where I want it, not where a usb will allow. So it’s in my packing area away from my pc. Also works well with my mobile via the app and my Macbook.

If you generate plenty of packages or mail in general, this dedicated label printer is for you. It is really aimed at the small business which is fine by me. It is very easy to set up and nice and obvious to use

I found it both cost and time effective, especially compared to printing on A4 paper and then cutting to size, or the absolute pain of setting up very slightly different sized adhesive label sheets.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy first thermal printer & I wasn’t sure which was best for my needs, but went with a Zebra due to the brands good reputation. Very confused at the reviews which state it is hard to set up – all that needs to be done is to connect to WiFi & Bluetooth which isn’t difficult if you are familiar with smart phones. It is perfect for my labels , easy to use the desktop design function & the stickers are printed fast & are high quality.

    Perfect for small businesses!

Really good printer for remote printing but expensive labels. You need to download drivers and then you can print from a remote location to the printer location over the internet …. very useful for fulfilment purposes !!!

I’ve been sticking these labels onto plastic food bags which I’ve later frozen and have not had any labels come off – 10/10 for my purposes.

The product is probably geared more towards the simple user, as the importing of custom label designs from other programs was not as straight forward as one would think.
The label building interface does the job in building labes from scratch, but I had custom designs made in PDF format which the interface did not accept.
After converting the designs to a JPG/PNG however, I was able to import it, though still leaving me to manually stretch the image to fit the label (even though it’s dimensions were an exact match).
All in all, it takes a bit of patience to setup, but once you’ve done it, enjoy good quality prints.

It would be a 5 star review if the label building interface was better designed for importing PDF and other custom design templates.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWas waying up this and other label printers as my inkjet is proving expensive to run, set up was easy via my phone, and it has printed my labels with no fuss. They are not the cheapest labels, but I have used cheap labels before and I am sure a few parcels have been lost because of them when the rain hits, might not be but I’m so happy to pay the extra, and have the confidence as I know Amazon themselves use zebra. Overall very nice design, well thought out labels being eco friendly. Very pleased with it.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersHaving been put off just about every other label printer by tales of hair pulling frustration, I finally decided to go for this one on the basis of the trusted brand and that it was clearly designed with simplicity in mind. In terms of the ‘it just works’ claims, I can totally vouch for this. The set up is simple, the labels are pre installed and I was printing within minutes. eBay (Packlink or Royal Mail) labels, Amazon returns, personal address labels all no problem – just follow the simple steps and the Zebra will appear in Windows as a standard printer ready to spit out 4×6 labels in seconds. It’s very easy to adjust labels if needed, before they print, using the standard Windows interface and I haven’t had a failure yet. Previously I used to use A4 four to a page labels and while these were fine, having a dedicated label printer makes the whole process so much slicker. The only downside is the cost of the label refills, which probably means it’s not for high volume users but for my few-parcels-a-week needs it’s perfect.

    So simple to use

The text below the bar codes can be easily edited to avoid words being cut off.
Takes up no space on my desk at all. The labels come in cartridges which are incredibly easy to replace. It prints 100 labels in seconds. A joy to watch. Highly recommended for bar code printing.

Great little printer, bought for my girlfriend who runs a business selling loose leaf tea, this is already saving her a fortune as she no longer had to purchase pre-printed labels for the products.

Also time saving in printing delivery labels for online customers.

Only issue is the zebra workspace is a little limited for label editing.

Good piece of kit. Takes a bit to set up but once templates are defined you’re away.

One development point would be that if you are switching between labels it’s automatically ejects 1 to align and calibrate. It would be good of this could scroll back into the printer for use.

Received this label printer to review.
First off all love the idea that the cartridge is made of potatoes, so its recyclable.
It comes with one size label cartridge (32mmx89mm). To be fair this was one of my struggles, has most of the labels I wanted to print were bigger and it doesn’t make much sense to buy and use at the same time different cartridges?
Its very easy to set up the printer to start working, I would say it toke me around 15m to get it ready.
Its easy to put and remove labels to the printer, but costing around 20 pounds each, I would make sure that most of the labels I used are inside one cartridge printing limit.
Printer size is small in my opinion and blends well in most house or office places.
Important to mention that the printer has their own software that can be loaded to a phone, tablet, computer, etc.
Would I recommend it for personal usage? No I don’t… Even if you only sell a few things a week, it’s cheaper to just write it in the parcel, instead of spending almost 150 to do the same (of course this labels look super professional, so it’s down to own decision).
Wife is starting her own online shop, so it’s handy to have, but I can do the same with our normal printer (like I was doing)…
Overall, good price for printer, easy to pair, easy to install cartridges, but these ones are expensive if having to buy more then one (labels size dependent).

Make sure it prints the label sizes you need

This is a nice small compact thermal printer which is super easy to use just plug in drop in the paper cartridge and I followed the instructions to link my printer to my laptop and my phone. There are a number of fonts and styles to choose from and it was easy to format your design before printing. This is the 2 inch label printer which means it only takes the zebra cartridges which I was a little dissapointed as I am not able to use any other brand label cartridge and will have to buy a zebra replacement cartridge and its not the cheapest.

I do like the quality of the printer and it opens from the top allowing you drop in the cartridge easily. The only thing I found annoying about this printer was that every time I would switch it on it pushes a blank label out I wish it didn’t do this as I feel its such a waist of a label and they aren’t exactly cheap. The thermal printer prints super fast and quick so I’m able to get labels down quickly. I do wish I had the 4 inch size label printer as this one is a little to small to do addresses on for parcels and I normally use the 2 inch label for other labelling needs.

Good little label printer that has a small footprint and doesn’t take up much space on the desk. Print quality is good and the speed seems instant in comparison with a regular printer. I’m not sure how long a cartridge will last but replacements might be what put me off it when the time comes. Is it only branded cartridges that are used in this, I wonder.

This review is for a Zebra 4″ Thermal Label Printer.

    CONTENTS
    ** Thermal label printer
** Cartridge filled with XL labels (ZSB-LC101)

    SIZE
** This label printer measures 17.5 cm in width x 18.2 cm in length x 12.8 cm in height.

    DESIGN/QUALITY
** This is a very well built little machine … smooth edges, no unfinished bits and has a sleek modern design.

    IMPORTANT / WORTH NOTING
** You can connect this label printer to your mobile phone or tablet via Bluetooth or wifi.
** You need to download the ZSB series app before using this label printer.
** It can also be connected to a PC or laptop.

    IN USE
This thermal printing machine is reasonably easy to use straight out of the box, especially from inside the downloadable app. A few people have commented about problems with computer drivers being difficult to find for a PC, this is not an issue if using a mobile phone or tablet.

    I LIKE
** The labels print clear and the type is dense black, sharp and easy to read.
** There is a great choice of different labels to choose from.
** You can see the size of printed area before you print which I find really useful … it allows me to amend the type to fit the label if I need to, preventing wasted labels being printed only to be thrown away.
** This printer is nice and compact and takes up hardly any space on my home office desk.
** You can choose the template for your labels from the downloaded app.
** As this machine uses a thermal printing system, there are no ink cartridges to purchase. So if comparing the purchase and running costs of this machine against the cost of an inkjet printer this must be taken into account.
** Printing labels with this printer is very, very fast … literally one in little over a second.

    I DON’T LIKE
** I was disappointed to find that the labels for this printer are very expensive … 190 labels for 20. I also haven’t been able to find any third party labels that work for this printer.

    PRICE
189 (price correct at the time of this review) seems a reasonable price if purchasing one for a small business. If it’s for personal use only … it might not be worth the cost of you don’t send many parcels.

Thank you for reading and I hope you have found my review helpful

This is Zebra 2″ Thermal Label Printer. Small, compact, but delivers a reliable performance.

Setting this up took around 10 minutes. Once connected, it functions flawlessly without any connectivity issues. I tried this with my laptop and an android phone, both worked well.

Once set up you can start using it immediately. As per the features of the printer, the quality of labels is very reliable and colours are not pale. If you are into bulk-printing or have a busy business then this one provides very fast printing without breaking the bank.

The number of labels per cartridge depends on the type of cartridge you go with. It works with several ZSB Series cartridge types. For instance, if you go with the ZSB-LC102 Address Labels, then it will provide 325 labels.

You should consider the price of cartridges and whether it is convenient for your business over the long term.

All in all, setting cartridges’ price aside, this label printer functions perfectly

This is a neat little label printer, which I’ve been trying out for the past 4-5 weeks and I am very happy to recommend.

As with any small technology like this, it has pros and cons. Lets start with the pros.

    SETUP:
    – Really simple.
    – Plug in & power on – and it printed out a QR code for me to scan, which walked me through the setup process.
    – Connects via WiFi or Bluetooth it would appear.
    – Easily configurable via either my iPhone or via a web app on my PC.
[So one cable – the mains power]

    PRINTING:
    – I’ve tended to use the PC web app, which works well.
    – You get a link as part of the setup process (I’ve saved this as a favourite).
    – The online design tools are excellent, either for text only (my main use) or for some simple graphics if desired.
    – Install the label cartridge of the size you want & hit print…. magic happens.
    – The thermal printer produces good quality output, which is instantly dry and doesn’t seem to run/smear if you get it wet (so ideal for address labels for example).

This product sets out to be simple & user friendly – and it succeeds without question. This will work well as a label printer for most practical purposes.

    Onto the downsides:
    – This is relatively pricey (189 as tested by me, from Amazon). There are other label printers which will produce similar sizes for a bit less. (Can’t compare as I haven’t tested others, but the selling point of this device seems to be ease of setup and use).
    – This device uses a neat little label cartridge. (Easy to switch, etc) However from what I can see, there are no 3rd party labels available yet.

This latter point concerns me for 2 reasons:
    – Firstly, if you’re a heavy printer user, the Zebra labels in their unique cartridge may become quite expensive (I’ve only found them for sale here on Amazon, but as an example 280 x address labels is 19 today, which is fairly pricey compared with the price of 3rd party self adhesive labels).
    – Secondly, if for any reason the company which makes these labels, stops making them – then unless a 3rd party takes over, the printer suddenly becomes a 189 paper-weight for your desk. I know this is relatively unlikely, but it’s always a consideration for me when looking at products like this.

Overall though – I would summarise this as an easy to use, decent quality label printer. I would happily recommend it & I am using it regularly. Just consider the longer term running costs if you’re considering this product versus some of the others on the market.

I’ve owned a different label printer before this Zebra 2″ one, and to be honest it was a little hard to use and not as practical. For instance, I would need to send any images/files from my phone to my laptop to then print out via my thermal label printer. Thankfully, this Zebra 2″ label printer is so much more practical. I have been sending small files from my iPhone directly to print via the Zebra mobile app. This feature not seem that important but if you are planing to print dozens and dozens of labels, you’ll be saving so much time in the long run.

Set up via the app is very easy and is compatible with any e-commerce website/software including shopify, Etsy and eBay. Not just this, but the printer is comes with a very handy software where you can even design the labels you want to print out with this product. From barcodes to even name labels. This label printer by Zebra allows your creativity to run wild and flourish.

This particular model only facilitated 2″ labels (with one roll pre-installed) so if you would like to print out postage labels you’ll need to upgrade to their other Zebra label printer which is currently 189. Although this is more expensive than most label printers here on Amazon, it saves so much of your time and comes with easy to use design softwares too, hence I feel that it is well valued in price. Replacement cartidges (which includes the labels). I love that these are compostable too and hence allows you to label print and control your business in a low carbon footprint manner.

5 stars, and great print quality too!

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

I did have a few problems with the set up of this machine, but once I figured it then it works perfectly for printing my labels, my advice is don’t give up its worth it in the end. My original phone didn’t support the app, so make sure before you purchase it that your phone is compatible, I have since upgraded to a Samsung S10 and it works perfectly now.

I hadn’t used a thermal printer since the one that matched my Sinclair Spectrum micro computer many years ago – Zebra seem to have improved that type of printing technology by quite a lot. This ZSB-DP14 thermal printer is a rather specialist product that is designed for those needing to send a lot of packages by mail or courier, and various other detailed labelling jobs. This printer uses ZSB-LC101 label cartridges and comes supplied with one to get you started — you can’t use third-party labels and a Zebra replacement cartridge of 190 labels costs around twenty pounds from Amazon. Set up was a bit of a faff but once working it runs quite smoothly, prints clearly and offers a fair degree of flexibility. This Zebra ZSB-DP14 4″ Thermal Label Printer is currently the best part of two hundred quid from Amazon so is not going to be an impulse buy, and that sort of money buys a very versatile laser or ink cartridge printer, but if you really want a thermal printer there are many cheaper options available via Amazon. This printer by Zebra is a niche market product that does what it was designed to do rather well, but it is not a printer for everyone — four stars everything considered.

This compact printer is a very efficient little machine capable of printing a variety of label styles/sizes. It takes a bit of time to set up and you have to download the app. I have used this to print from my phone and laptop over Bluetooth which is super easy and fast.
The resulting labels are top quality and it is very convenient to not have to worry about ink. For speed of use and quality of labels this is excellent overall.

This is a super compact printer and comes in some simple packaging.

The small footprint is great as it can happily sit on a desk without feeling overwhelming. I really like the design and it all feels well made.

Setting up the printer is a mixed bag. Zebra claims on the packaging that this printer “Ends the Plug n’ Pray” which is a eye catching claim. Sadly it wasn’t that simple and the printer gods were called on a few times during set-up. It wasn’t as horrendous as other printers I’ve set up in the past, but it wasn’t 100% plain sailing either.

I’m using an Android phone and you need to download the app and register an account with them. Eventually I managed to get the printer onto my WiFi network (after a small bit of trial and error) but once connected I’m pleased to say the printer is great.

I’d not heard of “thermal printing” before and I must say the results are consistent and it works. No more ink, but having to buy specific label cartridges does feel like you aren’t necessarily gaining much in terms of the economic argument. However the cartridges are very easy to use and drop into the printer.

If you are after a compact space saving label printer and are happy with commiting to the Zebra cartridge ecosystem, then as long as the gods are on your side during setup, this is a impressive little unit.

My son set this up fur me really quickly.
The label cartridge is ready installed and you just fit the 3 pin power lead and install the app. There’s a QR code to scan and that gets you the app really easily.
Everything you need to make labels is in the app and we even printed out a little photo sticker. It was just over an inch square and was a bit of a waste of the rest of the label so you need smaller labels for that.
The quality of the printer is outstanding. I did think initially that the cartridge thing would make it no good but I prefer this. I’m going to buy more cartridges when this one is finished as I think it’s a great printer. It saves having to manually load the labels.
    The print quality is excellent.
Overall I think its an easy to use, easy to set up and quality printer. The only thing that is a potential dislike is having to exclusively buy the label cartridges.

    Good quality label printe

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReview for Zebra 2″ Thermal Label Printer, Wireless Labelling for Postage, Address, Barcodes, Product Info, Filing and More, ZSB Series ZSB-DP12

As a long time user of Zebra printers in a variety of situations, I was keen to try this latest model. In the past all the printers I have used were wired this is the first Zebra wireless model I have used. Firstly the installation promises to be be painless even boasting true plug and play, which is largely a painless setup process. First thing you need to install is the software compatible with your machine, which I am pleased to say is available for both Windows and mac as I use both platforms. The other big change for me since I last used Zebra printers was the process of inserting, lining up and calibrating the roll of printing labels, this new generation does away with all of that by introducing an all in one label cartridge which is simply dropped into the printer and you’re ready to go. The printer comes with a ZSB-LC102 label cartridge (for address label printing), good for 325 labels at around 18 a cartridge, with other cartridge models designed for specific types of printing, sort of like a modular setup. This new model really does make the setup and use a doddle, and with its versatility to be a multi functional label producing printer not just address labels gives this an edge over other dedicated label printers.

Overall if you need a dedicated labels printer which compatible with almost all the delivery services you might encounter then you cant go wrong with Zebra. Really great value for a quality reliable product. If you need a label style printer compatible many services then this is it.

I’ve been after a label printer for ages, mainly because the printer I use plays up a lot, but also because I can have this right next to me. The printer is small and compact, which is great for space saving purposes. The lead is very bulky though, much like that of a laptop lead. Connecting the printer to my phone and wifi was easy as pie, with no problems at all. The app has loads of different designs for labels, which is impressive. I wanted to connect the printer to two different phones. I was unable to do this through the app with two different accounts, but it is possible to sign in on the same account on different phones and it will be picked up with both. Unfortunately though, I wasn’t able to get the printer to show up on the list of available printers outside the app. Maybe it’s just my phone, a Samsung A71, but it’s a pain that I can’t use it this way.

As a tip, turning it off from the button at the front requires a really long press, otherwise it spits out blank labels. If using one of the main selling sites that puts multiple labels on one page, this needs to be adjusted to fit one per page. Once I downloaded the necessary files for my computer, it showed up straight away in my list of printers. The instructions for doing this are in the booklet that comes with it. The printer itself is amazing. It’s quick, where there’s no ink, it doesn’t smudge and the labels stick down perfectly on my bags! There’s no way they’re lifting and I no longer have to cut them out!

Great little label printer. got for my Mum as she e-bay’s and Etsy’s stuff semi regularly so wanted something that wasn’t expansive cartage wise but easy enough to use. We’ve only really used the mail label option on this printer which once working does a good job. The labels come on well printed and nice and clear with no wastage and the re-fills arnt expansive for what they are.

Set-up was a bit of a hoopla thou. we had to go to tech support quite a bit to get it working but the website was really helpful and once we got the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi talking to each other it was pretty easy after that.

All in all can recommend once you get it working as it works well.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAt 189.00, at the time of writing,
    This :

Zebra 4″ Thermal Label Printer, Wireless Labelling for Shipping, Postage, Address, Barcodes, Product Info, Filing and More, ZSB Series ZSB-DP14

Looks to be a cool, wireless, cloud based, compact label printer.
    But…
    Is it any good?
    Is it good value?
Will I get a lovely cup of tea , at any point during this review?
Well… the answers to these, plus perhaps, one or two, extra, questions, we might accidentally stumble across, during the course of my meandering, and often erratic, review, we should get ready to post a load of parcels, as we take a closer look… …

It arrives in a professional, and nicely designed, retail ready box.
It makes a good first impression.

Out of the box, and the contents are easy to catalogue :
1 x Wireless Thermal Label Printer,
    1 x ZSB-LC101 label cartridge
Everything you need to get you up and running straight out of the box.
    The way it should be.
No running around looking for plugs, or replacement ink…

    The printer is not big.
Far from it, coming in at a diminutive :
    175 mm x 182 mm x 128 mm.
    17.5 cm x 18.2 cm x 12.8 cm
    6.89 in x 7.16in x 5.04in
This makes it ideal to sit on a desktop, or in a little cupboard.
It is about a quarter the size of a normal inkjet PC printer.
It looks just like any other PC peripheral, like a printer, or a desktop shredder.
It won’t look out of place.

    Build quality is excellent.
It feels chunky, solid, and packed with technology.
It all feels nicely put together, with no rattles, squeaks, or other worrying noises, that would indicate a poorly built piece of kit, indeed, this wee printer feels very professional, and slick.
With no mould marks, no ragged edges, or sharp edges, it has a high level of finish, and the junctions are all resolved, and finished to a high level of quality.
    It is nicely put together.

The label printer is truly wireless.
It can be used without a PC, or even a laptop, and can work solely with a mobile phone, as long as you have a working internet connection for it to grab onto, it will work independently of any other computer.

The label prints high quality labels, with resolution of up to 300 DPI (Dots Per Inch, for those who find acronyms Long Boring, And Pointless, or LBAP as we will know it from now on… )
(Rest assured, the amount of acronyms in this review will be as low as possible…)

It does not use conventional desktop printer technology, such as the most popular system of inkjet printing (IJP), instead using a thermal printing system (TPS), making it inkjet cartridge free, and therefore, theoretically much cheaper to run.
That having been said, the manufacturer, not wanting to lose out on subscriptions, and inkjet renewal fees, has cleverly made it dependent on other cartridges, label ones, specifically, which have high quality label printer paper, with a sticky backing, and is precut into label sizes.
And it will only work with the original, and proprietary, manufacturers cartridges.
These are orderable via the code : ZSB-LC101, which is searchable on Amazon.
It is very quick at printing, with a speed of up to 73 Labels Printed Per Minute. (73 LPPM)
That is very quick indeed, and would cut down the time needed to print large batches of labels.
An impressive two-year warranty(2YW) is offered, which is very generous.

I am not sure if we are doing very well with our fewest acronyms possible pledge…

Set up is as easy as pairing a Bluetooth device.
Pair up, and it will then connect via Wi-Fi, saving your device from the energy sapping Bluetooth connection.
You simply download the App, and you can then choose labels from templates, on your mobile, and then follow the menus to print your label.
You can make your own templates, and your own designs, on your PC, if you have one, and you could personalise absolutely everything on your computer.
It is very quick to set up, and as easy as connecting any other device.

The performance of the printer is very impressive.
It is easy to use the templates, and the software, and designing labels was easy, simple, and very well-designed.
The printing part, is amazingly simple and quick.
If I was running a mail order business, I would use this in a heartbeat, as the time, and money, saving would be phenomenal.

The major downside, as there is usually always a downside…
Is that the cost of the label cartridges could be a fatal flaw…
Luckily… it’s not, as the cartridges are pretty well priced, at around twenty pounds for a roll of 190 labels.
This seems pretty reasonable, to me, and I would be happy to pay that.

Which brings us nicely to the value for money section.
Which, in my opinion, the printer is pretty pricey.
It is, however, very well-designed, well manufactured, and produced to a very high standard.
This makes it a good purchase, and would be pretty good value, overall.
You sometimes get what you pay for, and you do here.
    Too quality performance, and design.

Overall, the label printer is excellent.
It is very well-designed, well put together, and comes with a nicely designed interface.
It had an excellent performance test, and was a joy to use.

I think it is a great product, and I can happily recommend it very highly.

Now, it is time for, all acronym fans get ready…
    TFALCOT.
    Any guesses? Anyone?
No? OK… It is Time For A Lovely Cup Of Tea… … Ooh, lovely…
    Biscuit ?

I hope you enjoyed our time together .
Thank you for reading my review .

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBeen amazed from possibility that comes with this label printer. The material and assembly quality is premium, love the fact that the lable cartridge is cardboard recyclable. Very fast to print lable, almost immediately. Not only the hardware is good but also the software, either the app and the Web workspace are well thought and user friendly. Perfect for new business

Time was label printing was a misery. Loading the right labels into your printer and choosing the right label box to print from. Those that endured it likely remember throwing out any number of sheets or printers (or worse removing the stickers from whatever they stuck to inside the printer. The Zebra Thermal Printer removes that misery. Its a relatively compact thermal label printer; than can spit them out at a high speed. Once out of the printer separating the label from the backing was easy and the label stuck to envelopes, plastic and glass without issue

Setup is a breeze; it comes with a label cartridge preinstalled; you connect the power lead. When you power it on it spits out a barcode you can scan with your phone and download and install the app. On first install it did an update; and after that i was able to print labels from my iOS and Android phones as well as from my windows pc. Zebra have a label design system which if your printer is big enough would let you design I’d badges or custom print labels with barcodes on them. The smaller labels in this printer are better for labelling things; or address labels to stick on envelopes. Though you could print barcodes or qr codes onto them if you wanted to use them as custom tags.

The labels use terminal printing; which helps with the speed, makes the printer very quiet. Despite being thermal the labels also survived a day in my car in the heat without losing the print. The print quality is very crisp; even if you cram text onto the labels.

If like me you struggled with label printing in the past forget that; you can easily swap cartridges out and use different size labels. The printer keeps track of how many labels you have used. When you are done with a cartridge you can put it into the compost as its made from potato starch. Overall if you need a label printer you should consider this or the slightly bigger version if you want to be able to print full shipping labels with barcodes and logos.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersI bought this machine to replace A5 inkjet printer labels as I am sending off a few eBay packages a week and often found the A5 labels to be too big and the 4×6 or A6 labels can only be bought as multiples on one sheet, which isn’t ideal for quick one-off label printing. Zebra are known for making the best industrial label printers that are designed to be workhorses for years of near non-stop printing, so when I saw this for home/office use, I did a little research and decided to buy. First of all, Zebra’s industrial printers usually use USB or ethernet, not WiFi, and are quite a bit more expensive than this unit. I was fully aware of the drop-in rolls being in a propriety format but they’re not silly expensive and you know you’re going to get a top-notch very sticky label that isn’t going to come off during shipping, unlike some cheap unknown brands. Setup was a little fiddly as it uses Bluetooth to connect to the printer than passes your WiFi details to it, but there’s a good live chat help facility on their website.

Worked/works right out the box just connect it to your wifi and get to printing. Small and doesn’t take up too much space at all. I think where this company gets you is, the labels are unique to the printer so you’ll need to buy their brand over and over again.Good product.Follow me on here daily reviews and/or answering questions on the products reviewed

This is a sturdy and compact little label printer priced at 94.00. It comes with a cartridge so it is ready to use, just open the lid and remove the top piece, the packaging is recyclable which is good. The app will count down the remaining labels left so you will know when to replace.
To set up you need to download the app ZSB Series, search for it or scan QR code printed out. Then connect device by Bluetooth, connect to your wifi network and set up an account.
I used this on my android phone and it was reasonably easy to use. You can select from designs already there, some can be edited others are just standard print.
From my understanding if you use on PC you can design your own, I haven’t looked at this as yet but something to try.
This would be great for anyone who labels a lot of products as you can print out several of the same design and customise what you need.
I used to print some labels for presents, a sample address, I show how to edit on video and just a simple congratulations label.
It is quick when you send to printer it completes the task almost instantly, very impressive.

Firstly the way it was packaged is excellent. The unit arrived in a very strong box giving great protection and there is a simple cardboard zip opener on the front of the box, you pull that and the whole lid just folds back revealing the printer.

This printer is compact. It doesn’t take up much room. The design is simple, clean and requires very minimal maintenance to get going. To set up you just need to pair the device via bluetooth and create an account. This went very smoothly and only took a matter of minutes. You can use this on a pc/laptop but I just used my phone to print as I find it more convenient. Once you have made an account, signed into the app and connected to the printer to your network, there are loads of different designs to choose from to print.

Changing the cartridge of labels is the easiest – you simply open the lid, throw the old one away and then put in the new one. I’ve had this printer for almost a month and after the initial few attempts to adjust to my labels, its perfect!

It has made life so much easier. now I can have it printed out in seconds! brilliant. One thing that really surprised me is the print quality. For the price the results look quite professional so I am really pleased with that. Overall a great little printer perfect for small businesses.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersMy old label printer is an absolute pain – it either jams the stickers, doesn’t print or somehow doesn’t connect. I’ve heard great things about the Zebra label printers and was keen to try the ZSB-DP12 – note, if you want to print out address labels 4 x 6, this printer will be far too small and I would suggest considering the ZSB-DP14 which prints bigger stickers.

Set up is incredibly simple, the unit it ready to use straight out of the box – there is an app for your mobile, and you can use Bluetooth etc. to connect to the printer. Plug and play functionality makes this label printer hands down the easiest I’ve used. Zebra offer an online ‘portal’ which offers free designs and other tools to help get the most from the printer, this can be accessed on both mobile, iPad and desktop.

This printer uses cartridges – they are easy to install and work incredibly well; created to compliment the printer, they have great adhesion and they print on nicely. Print quality is excellent – thermal print is clear, offering high quality prints.

A compact, smart looking thermal printer – prints high quality labels, fast!
Highly recommended, a great value printer – ideal for office, business or home use.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLove this label printer, it’s the perfect size for food and address labels and so quick and easy to use from your phone. You can design your own labels so it’s great for small businesses too. My sister was so impressed she’s buying one for her card business. It’s excellent quality, strong and sturdy and takes up very little room. The cartridges contain the stickers and are eco friendly, all you need to do is place the cartridge inside the machine and close the lid. There’s different cartridges available for different types of stickers and they’re reasonably priced. The app allows you to design your own stickers, perfect for personalising your business labels. The labels print super fast once you’ve designed your label and selected print. The print is bold and clear and the labels have good adhesion.

The instructions were straightforward and the machine prints a QR code when it’s switched on that will take you to the app. I’d already downloaded it though and registered an account before I turned it on. You will need to register and set up a password first, it’s a long password too (12 characters). The app then walks you through the easy set up to connect pair your phone via Bluetooth and the WiFi set up. I had no issues until it came to adding the printer and it kept timing out. You can’t print anything until that’s done so it was frustrating. Eventually I used the app to contact the support chat and have to say it was excellent. They went over all the normal things then advised restarting my phone giving me instructions for after I restarted. I still had issues adding it but then it was suddenly showing as added. As I’d got disconnected during the chat process they reached out via email and offered support. The followed this up several times to make sure all was working. I cannot fault the technical support or their customer service, nor the product once it was set up. Sometimes it does time out during adding the printer but there’s instructions online to walk you through that or you can use chat support on the app. They make sure they get you up and running if there’s an issue.

I did waste a few labels during the adding process as I was turning it off and on again for pairing mode, and it’s designed to print the QR code for set up. I’d advise turning it on first and add the app using the printed QR code. I’m glad I reached out when I had issues as it’s a great label printer. Although I’ve finally ordered a new printer, I will be doing all my small labels on this and will buy some different cartridges.

    Fast labels!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersDo you have a small business? Sell a fair bit on selling sites?

This is the Zebra Store ZSB Series ZSB-DP14 4″ Thermal Label Printer, Wireless via Bluetooth and WiFi. Comes with printer that measures 18.2 x 17.5 x 12.8cm, power lead and 190 XL labels.

This mini printer is perfect for any small business or personal seller. My wife has an Etsy shop and sells art, so this is ideal. This machine is so easy to use, simple plug n play.
Upon unboxing, power up, open cover, remove card label cover, then shut. It will print a QR code for you to photo or simply install ZSB Series App from Google Play or App Store.
Once installed app, open and register your email n password. When this is done you will need to follow on screen steps to connect printer to your device and your Internet Inc password.
Upon completion of these processes, you are good to go, takes 5 minutes!

The app has everything you need, lots of basic template designs for Address, Barcodes, Jewellery, Multipurpose Nametags, Postage Shipping, Return, Shipping and Small Multipurpose Labels.

There is also an option to import files / photos etc so you can tailor make your labels with your own logo / photo. You can use a standard template and amend just after you select print option. You can over-type all existing characters with your own company name / address etc. But I will say the app is a tad clunky and hit n miss. You’ll be typing it will then autosave halfway through a word, which means you have to click back and carry on typing. This was with iPad, it could be easier via laptop / macbook. Hmmmm.

Print-wise I cannot fault it, as the quality is great and it is so easy and in no way messy. The cartridges are recyclable too, and made of some cardboard starch type material.
But at 21 for 190 XL labels is pricy, but these are eco and can be purchased from most places.

Overall I thoroughly recommend this printer, but the app needs a desperate update and the refills need to be cheaper. No denying though the results are outstanding and it is so easy to use.
    Game changer, almost.

Good easy to use printer, very compact and great results. If a little pricy to run.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis review is for the ZSB Series Thermal Label Printer from Zebra, ZSB-DP14, 4″ Label Printer, Wireless Labelling for Address, Barcodes, Product Info, Postage, Filing and More

189.00 at the time of review.

You need to set up a user account which MUST have your geolocation in order to work. Personally, I think this is a real pain as all I want to do is print labels. It took me two days to be able to register for an account as all I got was ‘Ooops, something went wrong’.

I set this up initially on my phone, then tried to get my laptop to recognise the printer and add it, but it never did. However, after installing the drives & apps on my laptop, I could print pdf labels to the printer. If I open a web browser on my desktop and go to Zebra’s Small Office Home Office portal and create a new design, I can print to the printer from there as well using my wi-fi only. The printer doesn’t appear in my desktop’s list of printers either. I also discovered that pressing the Power button on the front of the printer to switch it off ejected a blank label which can’t be re-used. Pulling the power lead out of the back stopped that.

To be able to print labels from Acrobat, MS Office and so on, you have to open a web browser and got to the Zebra Small Office Home Office portal. Down the left side you’ll see an option called Drive & Apps. Click this to download the drivers and install them on your computer so MS Office, Acrobat etc., can print directly to the printer. Also, once installed, a new icon called ‘ZSB Printer Status Advisor’ appears on your desktop and starts with Windows. All it does is tell you what size and how many labels are left and whether the printer is active or not. Once started, there is no Exit option for it at all — really poor programming. I have stopped it starting with Windows and have not seen any downsides so far.

The printer is fast, the print is not wet and needing to dry and the only real sound is it ejecting the printed label. There is also no ink to dry out or jets to clog up if you don’t use it often, but there’s the rub.

This printer costs 189 and it only uses Zebra cartridges and is not Avery standard. Replacement cartridges cost between 21 and 19 depending on the label size. These work out at 11.05P/label for the 102x152mm (4″x6″) Shipping Labels down to 1.9P/label for the 57x25mm (2.25″x1″) Barcode Labels respectively and NOT including the price of the printer. And at the moment, there are no 4″x6″ Shipping Label designs in the Home Office portal.

If you want to print a lot of labels then this printer could be useful. If you run a large business involving printing label, then this printer will pay for itself and you will obviously pass the printing costs onto your customer. If you print the occasional label, then don’t buy this at all and instead buy standard Avery self-adhesive labels for a few pounds and print them out on your normal printer.

It is well built and the eco-friendliness of the cartridges is a real plus, and I have to recognise that, so I am going to give 4 stars to this printer and hold one back due to the horrible registration process and poor web design layout which means you can’t get to the Small Office Home Office web page from their site at all. For business use, recommended, but for infrequent home use, please avoid and look elsewhere or use your own printer.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersZebra is a brand I have heard of before but never used. I run a small part-time business and printing labels is something I do a lot so when I saw this I knew it was just what I needed. Printing on a normal printer is fine, but having something specialised to do the job is much better, just like this.

First of all, this printer is compact. It doesn’t take up much room and if you have a small home office like me it’s perfect. The design is simple, clean and requires very minimal maintenance to get going. To set up you just need to pair the device via bluetooth and create an account. I have not had to change the cartridges yet but I have had a look and all you have to do is take the old one out then put the new one in, so easy.

So far I have used it to print a few labels out for eBay and it has made life so much easier. I used to write out the addresses by hand but now I can have it printed out in seconds! brilliant. One thing that really surprised me is the print quality. For the price the results look quite professional so I am really pleased with that. Overall a great little printer perfect for small businesses.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI have quite a bit of experience with Zebra printers in the past. The connection via Bluetooth would take an age and would repeat every time you turned it on. It was also flimsy and would just cut out at times. It was also a pain to pair and link the devices which includes getting mac addresses.

This set up from opening the box, to setting up to pairing, creating a new account and printing was done in less than 5 mins.

The printer itself is frankly good looking albeit it it is really chunky considering the size of the prints it is doing. The packaging is brilliant and makes you excited to open it and the quick starter guide couldn’t be simpler.

You can use your phone or desktop (mobile is just very easy) and I am hoping I can just get labels from things I’ve sold on ebay and Zebra will just print it as is but that is still to be tested.

Now the software is relatively easy to use but there needs to be some improvement. Shout out to their product team because it is so much more user friendly and once you set up a printer in your ‘workspace’ you can then set up printer templates. One criticism is it allows you to print templates that are too big for the cartridge/labels you have installed. Another tiny annoyance is the labels showing in mm the size but the software showing inches which just seems a silly oversight. The very worst part of the software is when trying to manually enter text into labels. It constantly updates the preview but as part of that it takes away your keyboard on Android meaning you have to keep selecting, typing a word, reselecting, typing a word. Seems like a bug. Also it corrects your text in the box hyper aggressively and you can’t re-select the word you put in.

The software, although massively improved is infuriating and why I originally chose to do a 4* but then I remembered this is about the printer. So to summaries

Printer – Beautiful if not a bit big
Set up – A complete breeze
Printing – Takes 1 second for small address labels
Software – Massively improved usability from previous apps but needs some bug fixing.

5* for frankly an excellent product for someone with a small business or running an active ebay/selling account.

This can only print 2 inch labels and you can only use the labels made for this, and not other brands, so this is worth considering.

I love the fact that you don’t have to worry about ink supplies, so this is ideal if you have a lot of labels to print.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersDelivered in a very well protected and packaged box .

The ZSB Thermal label printer is a quarter of the size of my home printer , it arrived with everything needed to print labels and even a cartridge full of XL shipping labels .

Firstly you need to download the ZSB Series app , from there you can choose templates for labels ( it works a little differently using a pc as you can design your own ) .

I’ve so far only used it with my Android phone but printing the labels was fast .

I love that this is thermal printing , meaning I’ll never have to buy ink for label printing , what I save in ink will be used to purchase replacement ZSB cartridges . Granted they aren’t cheap but if you factor in label and ink savings you probably come out even .

The cartridges are easy to replace you just lift the lid of the printer and take it out put the new one in .

In most people’s opinions the price is expensive for what is in effect a label printer . However I think it’s great value for money . The quality of the print is good . It’s easy to set up using the app WiFi and will never need replacement ink .

Things to check before deciding on taking the plunge.

Is it compatible with your PC ?

    You need to have :-

    Windows 10 ( version 1809 and later )
    OS X10.14 and later

    Mobile :- Android 9.0 or iOS 12.12

if your technology can’t meet the requirements it won’t work no matter how much you want it to

I hope my review provides some help

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI got this for my MIL, she does a lot of selling online and uses Royal Mail for her parcels, and she thinks this is great. Very simple to use, instructions were clear and easy to understand, she has it connected to her phone through Bluetooth and her home internet connection. Quality is great, labels are printed clear and precise, and there is an endless list of different labels to choose from – Address/Clothing Label/Double Sided/Happy Birthday etc. Everything is listed in alphabetical order making it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for, and it shows you the sizing before you print. Nice little compact device, sits nicely on her desk.
Update – She has been having a nightmare trying to get it linked/connected with Royal Mail, I think that is their issue though and hopes to get it sorted with them soon, as the printer obviously works/prints well otherwise. Just something to bare in mind though.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersGreat product. Would have been 5 stars if it hadn’t taken me an hour to work out how to install it on my laptop. For those curious, you need to login to your account, find your printer, then the software is available. You won’t find it anywhere else (like in a generic downloads page on their website, that normal companies do!).

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersFirst impressions were good. Nice packaging. Felt clean and simple.

The product looks and feels great. My husband even made the comment that it had the look and feel of an Apple product which is high praise from him!

No problems with the set up — it took around 10 minutes to print my first label. You just needed to scan a barcode that took you to an app to set up. You will need to install on your PC though to use the label designer software.

Have only used to print a few labels so far without any problems. It was also really easy to change the label cartridges. Just dropped the new size in and it seemed to work.

    Would recommend.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersSetup was quick and easy – akin to setting up my Alexa through my phone with the app.
Like the cartridge design, easy to swap and replace. Thought it was great that the printer came with a full cartridge.
Took a while to find the drivers for my computer so I could print from the web or MSOffice. BTW, you find them in the online print and design portal for the product.
