Comprising of a wedge-shaped door stop, it is extremely easy to use. Simply place it discreetly behind the base of any door and, when the door is opened it emits a powerful, ear-piercing 120dB sound which will scare off and alarm any intruders, whilst at the same time waking you up and alerting you to danger.
The Door Stop Alarm is battery operated so it’s cost-effective and easy to set up, making it far more economical than an entire alarm system yet equally effective. pretty loud indoors
only used this for a short while whilst a section of my main house alarm was inoperative. it was certainly loud enough to wake a person from sleep if the door was opened. main alarm now repaired but intend to keep this as a standby.

Very effect at jamming the doo
I bought this as there has been a few break ins in the area. It pops under the door, and we tested it by pushing the door from the outside, it jamed the door. I think you would need a very a very significant amount of force to gain entry. Its given me piece of mind. I’ve not put a battery in yet.

J’ai mis l’alarme derrire une porte cela fonctionne de faon trs simple…on ouvre la porte elle coince notre alarme et le klaxonne qui est trs puissant se met en route !

Great as a doorstop or security item
These are great. The noise level can be changed from low to high or the alarm can be turned off so they can be used as doorstops. A great piece of added security for any in-opening door.
ot really that good for the primary purpose, which is to actually block the door. reason for that: the bottom is not anti-sliding, it just slides easily against the floor.

This is very very loud. My daughter and I took it on holiday with us. I accidentally set it off just past midnight in our little apartment block and people thought there was a fire. My ears were ringing for days

Cost vs Benefi
This product is simply amazing. A slight touch of anything on its metal surface will make the alarm go off and not stop until it gets switched off. It also adheres to the floor upon trying to open the door even if it is forcefully.

This would deafen the burglar never mind being a deterrent for them. They are very loud, as in a high pitched piercing noise. Without exaggeration, it could burst the ear drum.
Very good at the door, and if positioned correctly this will go off when the door opens ajar. Very very good value for money. Would pay double the amount for them.

Hlt, was es verspricht! Habe es selbst mehrfach getestet, um mal einen Eindruck zu bekommen. Die Lautstrke ist variabel und kann je nach Wunsch in verschiedenen Stufen eingestellt werden. Die beschichtete Unterseite verhindert ein wegrutschen. Sehr gut!
Brilliant security device
I bought it to use on Hotel room doors. I pull the room door close leaving enough room to reach around and put the door wedge alarm in place, then completely close the door and lock it. If triggered would create enough noise to attract attention and scare the intruder away, well in theory!

I bought two of these door stop alarms primarily since the missus is somehow uncomfortable being alone in our second home abroad. So I ordered two of these ‘guards’ one for the front and back door each.
It’s a pretty simple electronic product that has been around for decades – my parents used to have a very similar door stop alarm in the 1980’s, made of plastic and thin metal. But it works well. That is, it will sound the alarm. And it will perhaps cause some small additional obstacle to open a door. It’s reasonably sturdy. But somebody using force will still be able to open any door with such a stopper behind it. Either way, my wife feels much more at ease. And compared to investing 10x more for a half-decent alarm system I would say its good value for money. It does require a 9V battery.
Now, since I had these lying around my daughter has put them to use to guard her bedroom. She is suffering quite a bit from a little sweets-snatcher (her younger brother). That tends to sneak into her bedroom, browse through her stuff and help himself to her sweets. The Very loud alarm already gave him a few scares during his frequent raids and might lead him to give up his despicable efforts.
So except for the little looter, most are happy and pleased with this door stop alarm.

Overall useful but not sure how much force the product can endure as very lightweigh
we took this on holiday in the US and found that it worked on roughly half of the hotel rooms. we tested it at home – good volume. would definitely wake you up and hopefully scare off a burgler.

My teenage daughter/s stay in a separate hotel room to us adults. This gives us peace of mind. It’s loud, piercing and will scare off any potential intruder. The first unit sent just smoked and wouldn’t work but a 2nd was sent- no questions asked immediately so the customer service is great too

Cheap simple but high security just keep it under your front door before going sleep make sure you turn the button on for alarm if some one tries to open the door as soon it touch the door the alarm comes on very loud.

Der Trkeil ist relativ einfach gehalten was Material angeht. Alles etwas dnn aber funktionieren tut er sehr gut. Es gibt 3 Empfindlichkeitsstufen und auf der Empfindlichsten reicht ein kleiner Widerstand aus um den Alarm auszulsen. Die Lautstrke sollte sogar Tote wiedererwecken. Selbst mit Ohrenstpsel wird man sofort aus dem Schlaf gerissen.

S’actionne ds que la porte s’ouvre : le bas de la porte en s’ouvrant vient se positionner sur le cale porte ce qui dclenche la sonnerie .
De plus , comme il s’agit d’un cale porte , la porte se trouve bloque ce qui va ralentir l’intrusion.
Il faut toutefois faire plusieurs essais afin de trouver la position idale de ce cale porte. Nous l’avions mis au dpart trop prs de l’ouverture de la porte ,du coup , quand la porte s’ouvrait , elle faisait glisser le cale porte , ce qui rendait la manoeuvre inefficace. En positionnant en revanche le cale porte une quinzaine de cm de l’ouverture , c’est impeccable : ds qu’on essaie d’ouvrir, la porte vient tout de suite se placer sur le cale porte ce qui dclenche l’alarme .
Alors videmment il s’agit d’une alarme que l’on ne peut mettre que si l’on est l’intrieur !
J’enlve 1 toile car il y a normalement 3 niveaux d’alarme ( puissance forte , moyenne , faible) mais en ce qui me concerne c’est la mme intensit quelle que soit la puissance choisie.
Alors en conclusion , pourquoi acheter une alarme super chre alors qu’avec un petit cale porte un mini prix , on arrive un rsultat trs intressant?

Good value for money – it does the job. Lets off an incredibly loud alarm for such a small product! I found that I had to place it on a block of wood to line it up with my door (as the bottom of my door is an inch or two off the ground)

VERY LOUD! (just what you need)
This is a great item, whether it’s to deter burglars or simply to have a longer lay in before the Travel lodge cleaner does their rounds. Really does belt out a piercing wail, at a great price too.
Unfortunately these don’t work on the external doors I had hoped to use them on as my UPVC doors are in a frame and not flush with the floor. However I have tried them out on some internal doors and they are perfect. So easy to use with a really loud sound so I am hanging onto them for when I stay in a a hotel. Really great value too.

I felt very confident it would work in a real situation during the middle of the night. We could hear the alarm at the top of a four story house it was so loud! Brilliant idea.

This is a very good item. I can’t believe how loud it is! If anyone attempts to get into your space the who neighbourhood will know about it! I’m taking it on a trip to give me added security while I’m in my hotel room.
