left it a while to post a review, seems to have good weather resistance (unlike more expensive previous light) very good detection abilities and a bright lamp. Installation straightforward. Looks like a good buy

Really easy to install and wire into an existing junction box. Motion sensor is great and works well. Light is bright enough.

The lamp comes with a decent length of cable and soldered wires that fitted easily into the junction box. I set the lamp up without any problems and the light is strong enough to light up the entrance to our house. If I wanted to fit another lamp I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase this same model again.

This is a well made led flood light and has brighten up my back garden! 20w (2000lumens) has plenty of power and is IP65.

Easy to use comes pre wired, a generous 1.5 meter cable is attached which is great for flexibility.

PIR sensor works well and is movable to suit your needs.

I would recommend this flood light!

This has been perfect for the front driveway, easy to install, the unit is small but very bright at a fair price. It would have scored top marks if the lux & time on switches were a little clearer. Positioned behind the sensor it is tricky to adjust when you can’t see the settings, so keep the instructions handy…however, once set up it works well.

Having given up with solar lights, which are not very effective in the UK in November, I’ve installed this on the garden shed so I can find it in the dark.

Installation took maybe half an hour – two screws to attach it to the wall, one hole for the cable to pass through and three wires to connect to the lighting circuit.

The unit has two controls on the back. One controls the time the light stays on for when triggered, and the other the minimum light level at which it will illuminate. I finished the installation at dusk, so I was able to confirm immediately that both controls worked as expected. The minimum time is about a minute, which is plenty of time for me to get to my shed and unlock it.

I have a couple of these lights in different wattages. The 50W is very bright and is best suited to large areas or car parking. This 20W is better in a garden if you are concerned about annoying the neighbours.

The PIR works really well. It’s on a ball joint, so you can move it about. With a couple of minutes of fiddling I got it set up so the light comes on when I’m around 10 feet from the light. Perfect. It doesn’t trigger spuriously at all, but cats and foxes do set it off. You can’t adjust the sensitivity, but it doesn’t seem to need adjusting so far.

Well impressed. 27 for a lamp this bright, that lasts indefinitely and with a built-in PIR that works. Winner. Highly recommended

This light is so bright considering it’s only 20w. It’s build quality is very good and it’s easy to install, the trickiest bit is getting it connected to the mains, you will need a couple of mounting screw holes where you want it and either a hole for the power cable to go inside or to pin the cable to the wall and connect outside in a weatherproof connector box.

The PIR or motion detector is very good and picks up movement at the end of my drive which is about 8m long every time.

You can adjust the length of time the light stays on for. It all seems waterproof and has so far survived some nasty weather.

This is a good quality light and good value for money.

I got this to replace a 1 year old LED light with similar specifications. I have installed 6 different types of LED PIR lights at my home over the past 5 years front and rear.

Unfortunately they have lasted as expected a few fail due to water getting into the ‘Sealed’ unit, some fail due to the PIR not working, others fail due to the LED output failing quite probably due to the underpowered driver for the output.

This one looks good, slightly smaller than my previous unit it replaces with the same 20W rating.

The light is well made durable and to be honest feels really good its states IP65 which i hope it is as this is at the rear of the house and its very exposed to the elements. The wire is long enough to reach my junction box which was perfect. So far so good, light positioning has plenty of directional movement and so too does the PIR sensor. Light output is good, nice and bright and covers a large area. Timer for light is good so it does not stay on too long.

Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this light. Hopefully this will last longer than my last one at the rear if any issues i will come back and review (at time of writing this review my front light has just gone)

Security lights are a great feature to have on a house to bring that extra peace of mind. With a motion sensor they will pick up unexpected movement across a wide range. Offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme this Ingrikt Security light complete with motion sensor is economical to use, consuming just 20 watts of power when triggered but casting a fabulous 2000 lumens — that’s car headlight bright on full beam, more than enough to illuminate an area. The light is cast over 120, so affixed high on a wall it offers an excellent spread, picking up movement from up to eight metres away. The light is produced by 28 LED’s and is certainly what I’d describe as powerful, but not blinding if you are returning up a driveway from a night out. With a colour rendering index of 85 that’s pretty close to natural light too. Reading the product box it shows an estimated life of 40,000 hours and comes with a two year warranty. The packaging also displays the European ‘CE’ standard mark, indicating that the light conforms to European Standards for safety, health and environmental requirements and will not interfere with electronic devices like phones or PC’s when used near them

One issue I’ve found with some LED’s is water ingress — they simply let in heavy rain and stop working as a result. This light is manufactured to IP65 waterproofing standards, meaning able to protect against water jets. That’s lower than the IP66 standard which protects against powerful water jets and suggests potential for ingress in persistent heavy rain, although the product information does state it is resistant to frost too which is important as frost on the tempered glass could diffuse the light. The light is powered by 240V mains electricity and must be hard wired in, coming with a 1.5m length of cable, so a job for a competent electrician. The casing is made from hardwearing aluminium coated in a powder black, so it won’t stand out.

The sensor can be set for short — as low as 10 seconds, to long periods — up to 9 minutes, with a simple sensitivity dial. It is mounted by a supplied, integrated bracket that is capable of swivelling through 180, so offering plenty of options to get just the position you want. There are three securing holes which affix via simple Rawlplug and screws, so a drill and a screwdriver will be required.

The packaging is a solid cardboard box which is a big plus from me as a committed recycler. They do however have the crossed out ‘dustbin’ symbol, meaning that they shouldn’t be disposed of in a standard bin under the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive and should be recycled correctly at a licensed waste site.

This is a pretty good light, casting a strong, wide beam and suitable for drives, back gardens, garages and a range of other applications. I like the life which is long, I like the warranty, I’m just a little worried about potential issues from water courtesy of heavy rain, though no issues yet.

Good light, waterproofing to IP65 not the Gold standard

I cannot claim to understand how to ‘wire’ this light as I have a resident husband electrician to do that for me but he does report the following:
20W LED light which is the way to go at the moment and because of the LED capacity makes it very environmentally cheaper.
1.5 m cable of good quality which makes it easy to install.
Is being used to add additional lighting to the side of the house so the ‘short cut cats’ that inhabit our garden can now see where they are going much to the delight of the ‘resident cat’
Can be set up initially to ‘sense’ the ‘lux’ which I think is a technical term for sensitivity and this should be done before it is installed as it is harder to get to once in position.
It also has a ‘length of time being on switch’ which just about allows the ‘short cut guys’ to make it out without a scrape.
This is a good well-made quality light and I have been categorically assured this is a very good for this amount of light’

The light is impressively bright – a worthy replacement for my old broken 300W halogen floodlight. I haven’t got round to adjusting how long it stays but I assume this will be straightforward enough when I can be bothered. Ignore the green wires, they’re my Christmas fairy lights.

Super super bright floodlight for outside. We managed to install it really easily as it was replacing another outside light that was wired in but you might need a little bit of help installing it if you can’t wire a plug.

It is mega bright especially for a small garden – we don’t even need to turn the shed light on in the dark when this is on now!

I have received several of these LED outdoor lamps, and I’m impressed with their performance, for their respective wattage, that they are very bright. The light they emit is definitely in the cool range, so not what you might choose for atmospheric lighting, but ideal for security or practical purposes. Motion detection is very good, and the detector can be angled independently.

This lamp seems well made and solid. It’s easy to fix, although the task is a lot easier if the bracket is removed from the lamps before fixing to the wall.

I have one reservation regarding the lamps from this manufacturer, and that is the quality of the insulation on the wires. The outer sheath seems robust, but the insulation on the individual wires is not so impressive, the colours are often muted and not very distinct, in poor light they can be hard to distinguish. The insulation also bruises readily, especially when stripping it back with a wire stripper.

Adjustment of the detection unit is easy as long as you know which way to turn the dials. In practice, it is not so easy, for once installed it is difficult to see the back of the unit and the arrows indicating which way to adjust. Unfortunately, while the instruction show the individual functions of the dials, they do not give any indication of which way to adjust them.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI got this LED security light as a replacement for my front house light, it is perfect as it has a motion sensor so automatically goes on when it detects movement.

The 20 watt light is very bright with a maximum output of 2000 lumens and 120-degree wide beam spread. With this, it will give you a great field of light while saving up to 85% electricity cost. It is made of die-cast aluminium and tempered glass making it waterproof so it can withstand any bad weather conditions. It also has a motion sensor feature with PIR sensor which is sensitive enough so it will accurately detect any movement.

This offers a fantastic balance between energy efficiency and security since it will automatically turn on when motion is detected within the range of 1 to 8 meters of distance and will turn off depending on the duration that you choose. Lastly, the light comes with two setting switches which are the lighting time and LUX settings and you can choose from 10 seconds to 9 minute durations for it to automatically turn off.

To install this, you need to prepare a mounting hole first on the area where the light is being installed. After this, you just have to install the bracket and tightly screw the PIR light on the surface and you’re done. Just adjust the bracket to a perfect position, plug it in and it is good to go.

I really like this security LED light. Aside from it having a bright illumination, it looks durable and well made. It is quite small but don’t underestimate it! Its motion sensor also works as it should. I set this up at my front dorr and it has been working well so far, great for the dark nights. The cable is quite short for me but luckily there is a socket near my front door so I didn’t have to call for an electrician to install one. I personally would prefer a solar panneled or wireless light but that’s just my opinion as it is easier to install.

For its price and quality, I don’t have any complaints, it is good value and I am happy to recommend this!

Having the light with a motion sensor acts both as a deterrent and also lights up the side of the house, for when l go out.
The sensor is easy to angle, to give better coverage over a particular area, which in my case is the side gate, which the street light hardly illuminates.
The light gives a wide beam, lighting up a reasonable area, and by adjusting the vertical angle can concentrate on a smaller area.
The light can be adjusted as in my case to only come on after dusk, and this works well.
I have others from the same manufacturer and they have all worked well.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis led security light, comes complete with a PIR motion sensor and 1.5mtrs of mains cable, you just need to mount the bracket, after drilling mounting holes and screw the unit to the wall. You may need to purchase a junction box, as the light cannot be opened, so if you need to extend the mains cable, you will need a junction box to do so.
Then adjust the PIR direction, to pick up the movements you wish to catch, then adjust the Lux (dusk/dawn switch) and Time (duration the light stays on, both are adjustable on the back. Try to set this up before mounting, as you may not be able to access the switches after you have mounted it, especially if you are mounting the light high up on a wall.
The unit is fully waterproof to IP65, and has a bank of leds inside, so once they come to the end of their life, you just change the whole unit.
A great price, I have paid double for these lights in the past, from diy shops, so I’m happy to recommend.

Easy to fit and wire to an existing outlet.

The sensor of 20W induction outdoor lamp is very sensitive, and the angle can be adjusted at 120 degrees.

I installed it in the backyard.

It’s easy to install and has IP65 waterproof protection grade. There are two modes in the back of sensor. Time and Lux The time is adjust the duration, the Lux is to adjust the light sensing intensity, and it can work during the day and night. ( the sun mode during the day and the moon mode during the night )

In short, it’s not only very bright, but also very electricity and money- saving, which is highly recommended.

This floodlight is great. It is one of the best I have tested to date.

It has been installed now for about a week and has worked flawlessly.

Unlike some others I have tested that have gone faulty or just stopped working completely after only a few days this one is still working which is a great sign.

The build quality of the light feels very high quality and for the price, you couldn’t ask for more.

A truly high-quality product at a great price.

    What more could you want?

Highly recommended to anyone who is in the market.

We’ve been changing our halogen pir lights to led to save energy. This one is great, mostly because it comes with more cable than the other makes 1.5m to be precise, this makes it so much easier to work with. It’s also a smart compact design which is less obstructive.

Once installed, setting it up was easy, there are two dials on the rear of the sensor, one for the length of time the light comes on for and the other for the stage of darkness you would like it to work at. It’s really sensitive and works as soon as dusk begins which is very reassuring.

Led outside lights are so much cheaper and more efficient to run which means you can leave it to work and come on and off as much as it needs to without worrying too much about the electric bill.

I have the non motion sensing version of the same light and this version also works well.

The only annoying thing is the LED’s all glow a little when the light is off.

When it is not on it does use under 1 watt making it pretty energy efficient for a motion / light level sensing light.

When it lights up it uses just under 23 watts so it really is a 20 watt light.

It has the usual adjustments for light level to activate and how long to stay on for after detection (3 seconds to several minutes).

Other than the glowing LED’s no complaints.

Very well built light. Good bracket, metal heatsink ensures it’s waterproof and doesn’t get too warm
1.5m power lead very welcome, longer than most supplied.
Bright cool white light. Can be easily adjusted for period to be on when motion detected, and light level to operate under.

Bright and very cool white as detailed. PIR is compact and can be angled

Just worked, you can set the lux (brightness) it activates at how long it stays on for.

PIR is sensitive without picking up false positives.

Recommend and pricing in line with competitors.

20W Security Lights with Motion Sensor, Super Bright 2000 Lumen PIR Flood Light, IP65 Waterproof LED Sensor Floodlight Outdoor, 6500K Cool White for Garage Garden Pathway, with 1.5M Wire

    In the box.
The light, bracket, screw and fixings. It works off the UK mains and a 1.5m cable is attached.

    Set up.
I used this to replace an old halogen 500 watt one we had the back of the garage. It had broken years ago but we do need light out there in case we need to get to the garden buildings in the dark. This was a direct replacement for the old one. It was easy to install and has a 1.5 metre cable. Quality wise the metal casing and fixings were much better than the old halogen one.
The sensor was easy to set up. You can set it to work in the day (sun mode) or only at night (moon mode). You can also set the duration of time it is on for from a few seconds to several minutes. The waterproofing looks well implemented as well. It provides plenty of light when it is on.

    Overall.
These are much better and economical compared to the old halogen ones. This was is well made, easy to fit and the control easy to set. Only had it up a day but it worked perfectly last night even after a rain storm. It should last well and I will report back if I get any problems. So far this is a nicely made light that works very well.

I have fitted a few of these in recent times in my yard, garden and in my carport. They are energy efficient and provide a good quality security light. Some though come with little or no cable which I find a little irritating. This one comes with a good length of cable making it easier to work with and as far as I am concerned more practical. It is easy enough to install with basic electrical skills. If I can do it, almost anyone can! Just remember to turn off the power first! It is smaller than I expected but produces a good bright quality light. The PIR motion sensor is sensitive and works as it should. This is a good quality well made compact LED flood light which produces a really good bright light. Well pleased.
