Tips for using the battery:
Constant blue light: is charging or working.
Light off: fully charged.
Flashing blue light: no power.
Orange light: you have to let the battery cool down and try again.
Red light: charging error (if the red light comes on, we will send you a replacement battery.)

Bought this replacement battery for my dyson v7 as after 4 years the battery wasn’t holding a charge anymore. I contacted dyson and they wanted $140 for a new battery where at that price, I was ready to invest in a new vacuum. I decided to look on Amazon to see if I could find something cheaper that had great reviews.
There was a large number of after market batteries for the v7 online. What I wanted was more than 4000 mAh but a battery that would still fit in the charging dock. I found several at around 4600 mAh, at a slightly lower price than this one however the battery was larger than the original battery and wouldn’t fit in the charging dock.
So I gave this one a try. So far this far exceeds my expectations. The battery fit in the charging dock and ran 26 minutes at regular power.
If you are looking for a good replacement battery, this is definitely a good one.
I will update my review in 6 months to see if the battery still holds a good charge at that time!

My Dyson has full power again. Very easy to replace. Just a couple of screws. Be sure to have the correct tools, though.
It’s been a few months with the new battery and my Dyson seems to be working just fine. Happy with my purchase!
