Great long cable
Needed a longer cable for work use, works as it should, no problems so far. Picture quality is fine.
Now we can watch Amazon Prime on our TV while sat on the sofa on the other side of the room. The TV doesn’t link to Amazon Prime and the wife’s laptop has Prime as a part of her phone contract. Now she can control Prime on the TV with ease from the sofa. A very useful good quality 20 foot cable.

Rugged cable
If you’re looking for a fairly robust cable this seems ideal. If you need a very flexible installation you will need something else, but for a fixed setup using cable clips the woven mesh on this one seems perfect.
The HDMI cable works perfectly, the cable is very light and in addition it is flexible and can be shaped as you wish.
Plugged this cable into a new MacBook Pro (via an adapter hub) to use a second screen / monitor. Wow! The external screen is now as clear and sharp as the laptop screen. Previously with an old HDMI cable it was not good quality at all and I thought it was because I’d bought a cheap monitor. No, it’s because I needed a better cable. I don’t know how consumers are meant to know what all this nonsense means: “4K HDMI Cable 1.5m,Sweguard High Speed 18Gbps Braided HDMI 2.0 Cable 4K@60Hz 2K@144Hz” But in plain English it means: “Make your second screen as good as your laptop!”

I brought a bunch of these to use with my gaming set-up and so far none have failed.
The build quality is great, not bulky and being high speed is a added bonus. 4K at 60Hz on a Ps4 pro or Xbox Series X is incredible with really no room for improvement.
I also use this with my HDMI splitter box, and if anyone out there is interested in getting a splitter box remember to find one that matches you hdmi cables. I got a HDMI splitter box that handles 4K 60hz input and output so keep that in mind when browsing.

I bought this to extend the distance between laptop and projector. It works well.

Rugged construction means that the cable is rather stiff. No problem if permanent installation but less appealing if constantly moving location.
Lead is a little stiff but when laid out straight and flat it “hugs” the ground nicely. Great as it isvery reduced trip hazard.

I bought this to replace an existing cable that connects my fire cube to the TV. The old cable would not let me select the highest resolution. This cable lets me set the maximum resolution and bit rate. The cord is not too thick either which makes running it in my trunking easier.

Does what it says on the tin. It can handle 4K and Dolby Atmos at 18gbps for a good price. I needed a cheap and cheerful cable that could handle the above, and it does just that. It is also very flexible too, which, for what I need it for is perfect. Picture quality isn’t on a par with higher end cables I’m using in my current home cinema system, but they are far more expensive. If you need something of reasonable quality that is up to the job, then you can’t really go wrong with this.

Admittedly I’m only using it for my PC at 1440p but looks great. Bought this to replace the amazon basic 5m HDMI cable I’ve been using. The Amazon cable was so thick it wouldn’t bend flush with the wall around the fireplace but this cable has given me the same level of picture quality and is more flexible.
Most newer HDMI cables will do 4K
Most newer HDMI cables will do 4K; you don’t need a specific one. My Ps4 one worked but another one I brought years ago didn’t. Do a little bit of checking first and then if they don’t work you might as well pick this up, there’s pretty much no difference in price between the 4K and non 4K versions, and at least you know it will work.

Having wasted hours in vain failing to get Windows 10 to screen mirror to my TV, I finally thought about a direct HDMI connection. Worried about the cable length (10 metres) and if this would adversely affect picture quality. Fortunately, no such worries with this product and the braided construction stops the cable kinking too. Should have bought it much sooner!
Nice cable and does what it needs too. I’m sure it would work fine for most users. In my niche use scenario it doesn’t quite do what I need it too. Thing is it won’t display HDR from my PC to Samsung TV. Now I’m not even sure this is the cables fault and its quite possible that its the TV’s. Enabling Samsungs ‘input signal plus’ results in a no signal. However, I imagine this would be quite a rare use for this. Just something to be aware of.

This is a good quality 4K HDMI cable. It is very well made and sturdy and should stand up to the wear and tear of life in a busy home. I love the length as it is perfect for me to connect my laptop up with the TV, without having to be too close to the TV or having loads of cable trailed across the floor. I am really pleased with the quality of the transmission as well – the sound and picture are excellent. I could not ask for better.

Now that it’s in place it’s fine, just not very supple. I needed an ethernet HDMI cable and wanted to give my set top box the best chance, and this does the job. It does everything, including coping with multiple merged remote controls so I suppose it’s CEC although it doesn’t say so.

4K HDMI cable
I’m using the HDMI cable to connect the Xbox to the television. The picture quality is great and just as expected. The cable is 2 meters long, just what we were after. The cable is well made from what I can tell, look robust however it won’t bend or even get the chance to the way it’s being laid out.
Can only recommend it as we have had no issues with it and would purchase in future when in need of another or a new one.

This is very durable. HDMI can already do 4k, but this has meant I can now have two screens at home, which is enormously useful on the days I work from home.
All round very satisfactory 4K HDMI Cable
This lead is great, it connection points of each cable fit security in the socket without rattling or moving around but are easy to remove again without tug which could damage the port, the cable itself is good, flexible and has not proven to wear out or “rub” badly at points it is bending or twisted.
Picture quality was good, as expected/hoped for and in keeping with the product’s specifications. Would definitely make a repeat purchase of this product if I needed to and have no hesitation recommending it to others. Recommended.
Decent length and high quality
I do like this cable. It is very sturdy and robust. When technology is upgraded especially cable boxes etc I like to ensure I have the correct cables to connect for the job. This really hasn’t disappointed. Some may say it is too long but I find that i would prefer it a little bit longer than not long enough. It has allowed me to move my cable box to where I want it without destroying any picture quality or services. All in all a nice cable.

This is a superbly made cable. The materials all seem to be top-drawer, and at 2m it is an excellent length.
I use it to connect my AppeTV with my Samsung TV, and everything works very well indeed. I’ve also used it to connect a PS4. And also my computer to an LG Laserbeam projector. All work superbly, with terrific image quality.

4K Braided Cable
This is a very durable cable that is due to it being braided – much better than the ones that have plastic casing that can get damaged. It can still be bent to get around those tight spaces but this doesn’t damage the cable in any way.
Since I own a PS4 Pro and a 4K TV, this gave me the perfect opportunity to give this a test as my previous HDMI cable was just a bog standard one.
Performance was brilliant, can’t fault it and the length of the cable (2m) is exactly what I needed.
It also comes with a unconditional lifetime warranty which gives me peace of mind. Hopefully, I won’t need to use that anytime soon.

This is well made cable with gold plated quality connectors that have good well designed strain relief. The picture quality is superb at 4K HD with a full 18Gbps.. The 2m cable is nylon braid covered and flexible inspite of being a thick profile due to all the tiny screened signal wires. This is a nice quality cable and long enough for you to mount the tv on the wall and connect it to your media system in a rack or stack below.. Happy to highly recommend, Andrew
High quality hdmi
Very chuffed with my new hdmi lead. It looks like it will last as the build quality of it seems almost heavy duty.
At 2 meters you have plenty of room to play. I currently have it connected between my laptop and a monitor so I can have dual screens while working from home. If you have an hdmi lead that is removed often I would recommend this due to how heavy duty it is.

As technology evolves and improves, I’m constantly trying to maximise the potential of my gear and the cheapest and most effective way is improving the cabling.
The build quality is excellent, the woven braided cable is tough and durable, it’s not especially rigid so it’s good for manoeuvrability.
What I found most impressive is the gold-plated connectors, they served up impressive 4K resolution without flicking or ghosting.

I have bought high end HDMI cables from other high end suppliers. These cables are at the same level for picture quality and sound. Moreover they are finished well and with quality materials but at a more value oriented price. There is nothing not to like here. Highly recommend.
Good quality and value for money
When building a gaming system the humble hdmi cable needs to be installed then forgotten about – if it’s good enough then it will be an unseen cog in your setup. This 4K 2m hdmi cable is a brilliant purchase – currently used in a PS4 and the quality of picture and sound is undiminished so it is close to perfect. We need to see if it lasts to see if it gets 5 stars but currently it’s a solid 4 stars.
Great Quality HDMI Cable
Not the longest in the world at 2 meters but absolutely fine and more than enough for your entertainment areas where everything is close together and you only need a shorter run. It’s a good quality 4K braided cable so won’t tangle and is easy to manage and compatible with everything as listed so very versatile. Connectors seem very good quality and very firm and not had any issues with it so no reason not to recommend if the price is right.

Really hard one to review! Can’t fault this hdmi cable one bit, very well built with solid metal ends. Great transfer speeds and had no issued what so ever using! Arrived in pretty nice packaging which fitted the item inside perfectly, so not waste…. There is cheaper on the market and lets face it an hdmi lead is an hdmi lead. I would probably just order the cheaper one!

This HDMI cable is a really nice quality cable.
The cable itself has a thick and durable feeling outer braiding. The plug ends are a little chunky – but in a way to make them tough from accidental knocks. The join between cable and plug is rather well done too with a nice transition designed to maintain the overall durability of the cable.

It’s always handy to have the odd spare HDMI cable hanging around. My son recently needed one to connect to his Xbox and this one was perfect. The nylon braided cable is good and feels like it will last a lot longer than a normal cable. It’s 2m long, so a great size to use, meaning it will fit between most devices. Very happy with this.
Pleasantly surprised
I have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of this HDMI cable both in terms of build quality and performance. I wasn’t familiar with this brand and hadn’t used any of their other products so wasn’t sure what to expect, but based on this cable I would happily get more. All of the materials used are good and there is a firm, accurate fit with both of the connectors in the equipment that I tried it with. The picture and sound quality were faultless, and I haven’t been able to find anything that I dislike about the product.
Faultless today but the market is moving rapidly
HDMI 2.0, 4K@60Hz and18Gbps already sounds a bit outdated in this accelerating market when HDMI 2.1, 8K@120Hz and 48Gbps cables are available surprisingly cheap.
So is this outdated? Well, not for me, no. I have a 4K HDR TV, a PS4 Pro, Xbox One X and UHD Blu-ray player. This cable gets the best out of them all. 4K and all forms of HDR available are immaculate as far as I’m concerned. The same can be said of the less demanding Nintendo Switch. It works well with that too.
So in the here and now it’s excellent but in the not too distant future there are reasons why it could need replacing. The next gen Xbox supports VRR which I believe requires HDMI 2.1. The same goes for if you’re planning on buying an 8k TV (I really can’t see much point on a personal level).
The braided cable itself is well made with the necessary ‘sturdy’ and ‘durable’ watchwords applicable here, likewise the gold-plated connector feels as good as it gets in this price range. There’s a nice little grip detail that makes pulling it out of the socket easy.
I’ll be using this for the rest of the year and likely well beyond with current gen equipment but fully expect to have to buy something else to get the best out of devices bought in 2021.
Cable
This is a great cable. It’s very strong and looks like it will last forever. I have used it to replace an old 1 metre lead. I find the 1 metre leads are fairly useless because I have a 75 inch TV so there’s quite a distance between the TV sockets and the things they connect to. This cable worked fine as soon as plugged in. Great picture and audio.
Good quality cable
This is a high quality braided cable, which is easy to bend when required but retains shape, whether straight or bent. The rubber grips make it easy to insert and remove. I’ve already reviewed an otherwise one metre cable, which is handily short if you want to connect two devices very close together, e.g. a TV and DVD player, so as to minimise redundant cable. At two metres, this one gives extra length if you actually need it.
It has a high spec, supporting 4K/UHD video transmission.
There’s no price showing at present, but assuming it’s no more than 12 it deserves a five-star rating.
Top-quality HDMI cable
The cable is long enough for what most people would need. I have more than enough extra length after connecting my PS4 to the TV. The wire is quite thick and firm and looks like it will last a very long time with normal use. The connectors have an additional thick housing that could withstand thousands of bends while still intact. It looks robust enough to last a lifetime. Nylon braided fabric and very soft flexible rubber joints with gold plated HDMI ends. Does everything it promises and the build quality is very good for the price. Fantastic value for money, where the performance does not seem to differ from that of a similar HDMI cable, for which I paid 10 last year.
Solid HDMI cable
This is a 2 metre HDMI cable offering a supposed high speed signal. It is a quality thing, feels well made and works nicely. I don’t see a huge step on my older HDMI cable nor on the pretty basic one I have on the spare TV. However, I like to believe it is doing its thing even if I don’t always entirely notice it. For all of that, it remains a well made product and I would buy more of them.
Ideal 4K HDMI cable for short connections
I’m delighted with this 4K HDMI cable – the image/sound I’m getting through my 4K TV and 4K Blu-ray player using it is top notch. My only minor gripe re this particular cable is that at 2 metres the cable may not be long enough to connect equipment if there is more than that distance between them. However, if there isn’t then I can’t recommend this item enough.

This is such a good HMDI cable and at 2m is just the length for what I needed to use it for. I found that can never have enough HMDI cables. All over the house and office. This is a very good quality HDMI cable and I have satisfying experience of similar cables from this supplier previously.
2 metre cable gives plenty of scope for use, too many times I have lost connections from short cables not quite reaching when moved slightly.

Durable and corded, high quality
I needed a 4K-worthy HDMI cable as all the ones I own are lower grade and older. This one works brilliantly – I can’t fault it at all. Certainly does the job well and feels high quality too.

There’s not much to say on this really. Simply put, this HDMI cable is high quality, feels durable and strong, the connectors are solid and secure and it fits our use case perfectly. Video looks stunning and audio sounds just as good as it would watching something native in the TV in 4K. Would recommend.
Works perfectly
I got this quality 4K HDMI cable to hook my laptop up to data-projectors or monitors for presentations.
The quality is superb, the cable worked perfectly and the construction quality is excellent.

good quality and durable
When I got this I could tell it was of good quality using good metals and a weave line which do not break anywhere near as easily.
It is 2 meters long so a good length for things like connecting a blue-ray player or games console to your TV.
Connection is good and seems to stream high definition shows well and they looked great on my 4K television.
Overall a great HDMI cable.
Ultra HD picture quality is excellent.
This is a very nicely made cable with a strong braided, “non-kink”, covering, and the gold plated connectors fit very firmly on the HDMI sockets.
I’m using it to connect a SkyQ box to a QLED TV and the Ultra HD picture quality is excellent when playing recordings, on live TV transmissions and streaming over the Internet.
Quality cable
This smart-looking cable arrived in plastic-free packaging — excellent. It appears well-constructed, with securely attached connectors and strain relief at both ends. The braiding does make it stiffer than some cables, but the compensation is durability. The image it produces from laptop to TV is flawless.
There’s no price on Amazon at present but, assuming it’s competitive, this cable is worth five stars.
Looks good and feels robus
The AviBrex HDMI cable works well connecting my DVD player to the tele. The cable itself feels robust, with its grey, nylon braided sheath. It’s a bit stiff but it seems that most reasonably priced HDMI cables share this trait.
The plugs have a bit of rubber wrapped around the connection end that help to grip the cable.
The looks good and works well. I’m happy to recommend.
AviBrex HDR 4k HDMI cable
AviBrex High Speed HDMI 2.0 Cable Ultra 18Gbps 4K@60Hz HDR 3D HDCP 2.2 is a gem. It looks robust enough to last a life time. Nylon braided fabric and very soft flexible rubber joints with gold plated HDMI ends. Quality is written all over it. I am using it for Xbox plugged in to Samsung 4K tv and it is performing as it should be.
Very happy to endorse it with 5 stars rating. Highly recommended by me.
Seems Solid
The 2m cable is nicely made with a woven cord which is a little more flexible than the usual plastic cables. The ends are solid enough and snap into place securely.
Good specification, value for money
I generally use Amazon own-brand cables so this was a change. Like the Amazon cables, it is a good antidote to the expensive HDMI cables that a retail shop will have on offer. It has a good specification and although it is of quite a small diameter, it appears to have sufficient shielding to reject interference. Plugged into the television ARC HDMI port, it worked but not noticably better than the cable that it replaced.

Superb Effective, Robust HDMI Cable
I have sampled and tested this 4K HDMI Lead AviBrex High Speed Cable both in terms of use in
connecting my DVD (Sony), also works with the soundbar, and also in transferring files from my HP
computer.
The connection with the DVD and sounder to the TV was simple and effortless. It worked first time.
I particularly liked the sturdiness, length of the cable. The connectors are as the website indicates,
gold plated with a PVC overlaying what appears an aluminium housing. The connection with my HP
computer was easy and the transfer of data was quick without a problem.
It is compatible and may be used in a variety of uses including Xbox PS3 and PS4.
So, in summary there are no shortcomings with this product. Effective, efficient, fit for purpose.

I do tend to collect and swap out HDMI cables as they are frequently upgraded to support the latest technology. A HDMI cable purchased 5 years ago will not perform well on equipment purchased today. But a HDMI cable purchased today should work fine on equipment purchased 5 years ago. So, when I have the opportunity, I replace my older cables when I can.
This cable should be compatible with all of the latest technology that’s currently out there. It’s also backwards compatible, so it should work perfectly well with older equipment.
The build quality of this appears excellent, the cable looks cool with it’s attractive silver woven cloth outer cover. The HDMI connectors are made from metal along with heavy rubber material, they are securely moulded onto the cable. The connectors themself are gold plated to provide the best possible connection.
In use I found this performed well without issue. The Connectors fit tight when inserted. Performance was as expected, picture and sound quality was excellent without any interference whatsoever. The signal was uninterrupted even if the cable was heavily wiggled around.
This appears to be a high quality cable that performs well.

High speed
Good quality cable with good connections and a braided cable. I had no problems on my 4K OLED television, connecting to my Sony soundbar with the E-ARC which is a high bitrate audio transfer (I had a problem with the cheaper cable with audio dropouts, this cable fixed that issue).
A decent cable that appears (to me) to live up to its claims of high speed support.
The best HDMI cable I have used so far.
I received this item through the Amazon Vine programme. A good quality cable, 2 metres in length, a little stiff due to it’s substantial braided exterior but that’s no bad thing, this is a cable that looks like it will last.
I have no means of testing it’s claims to data transfer speeds, but I used it connecting my DVD player to the TV and it’s performance was faultless.
The connectors are mounted in what appears to be aluminium and rubber, and again look well protected as well as being smart.
A point to note is that, on my monitor at least, the pictured cable appears black whereas the cable I received was a silver grey.
Listed as “currently unavailable” at the time of this review, I am unable to comment on value for money: but the market range for these cables appears to be between 7-10 and if this one retails within that range I would recommend it as it is the best HDMI cable I have used to date.
Does the job
The AviBrex High-Speed 4K HDMI Cable 2m HDMI Lead 2.0 Cable is compatible with Fire TV, Ethernet Function, Video 4K, UHD 2160p, HD 1080p, Xbox PS3 and PS4.
The cable seems sturdy, and the overall interweaving of the unit is thick, and if likened to other HDMI cables, I have owned in the not so distant past. This unit affords the user reasonably good flex. At 2m long, it is the right length. As another reviewer has said that it is better to have something long, ‘but better to be too long than too short’. I would agree with that statement; it is a suitable cable, which does its job.
