After using a few cheaper/older Logitech controllers these are farrrrr nicer to use, I got a couple and will probably grab a couple more eventually for couch game sessions.

Ein wirklich super Controller, wenn man von der Playstation auf die Xbox wechselt und mit dem Xbox Controller nicht so gut zu recht kommt. Ich hatte einen Umgebauten Controller, welcher das 4 fache davon kostet und selbst dieser ist nicht so gut wie der 8bitdo.

Ich benutze den Controller am PC, getestet an Win11, betrieb unter Windows 10, ohne Probleme.
Unter Win7 lief er mangels Treiber nicht (auch auf Tante Google nichts gefunden).
Haltbarkeit der Tasten wird sich zeigen.
Ich wrde Ihn dann trotzdem wieder kaufen.
I bought this controller primarily to have a decent d-pad for Series X so I can play my retro collections on it. On that end, the controller is very good and comfy. Its shape and configuration will give you a PS4 controller feel but with extra buttons under it. My only grip with this controller is how clicky it is – which goes in the same category as the Series X controller. It can get pretty loud if you smash those buttons a lot which when you play late at night is not that of a good thing as it tends to wake some family members up (!)

Esse o tipo de controle que te salva da dor de cabea. Conectei no meu Xbox Series S e funciona sem problemas e sem precisar configurar qualquer coisa. Conectei no meu computador e o controle j reconhecido pela Steam automaticamente e igual ao Xbox, j sai funcionando.
A qualidade em si do controle tima e se equipara a de um controle feito pelas empresas AAA como Microsoft, por isso eu acho que o valor dele justo. O que ele trs de caracterstica positiva a mais, na minha opinio, so os dois botes extras na parte de trs (que eu sinceramente no me prestei a configurar no computador, e no Xbox, dependendo do jogo ele duplica alguma funo de um dos outros botes padres). Outro ponto positivo o boto da estrelinha na parte da frente que liga e desliga a vibrao.
Consideraes finais:
– Esse controle no liga o Xbox quando voc clica no boto central, ento voc tem que ligar o Xbox manualmente.
– O cabo dele enorme, o que um baita de um ponto positivo. Eu estava me preparando pra comprar um extensor USB por que imaginei que o cabo dele no seria to grande, sorte a minha que esperei ele chegar porque o cabo tem uns 3 metros se no me engano.

Got this controller due to liking the button/joystick positions. Con of this controller is that it is wired but even then works great on Xbox series X and PC. Plug and play with no confusion. 1 improvement I could recommend is thicker joysticks.
I really like 8 bit philosophy. They are not trying to reinvent the wheel. This controller is simply the best in its form factor and price range. Its a symmetrical analog stick design which can feel a bit weird for a long-standing Xbox player but muscle memory is a funny thing, it adapts.
Been buying 8BitDo controllers since 2017 with the SNES30 (called SN30 later on). Once again they deliver a product that not only looks stylish, but feels great. The best 3rd party Xbox controller hands down. Years ago a company called Hyperkin put out a controller called X91 that tried and failed to capture the quality and retro-ness that the 8BitDo Pro 2 offers. I use these on PC but even I’m tempted to buy an Xbox Series X knowing I can use these high quality controllers on that as well. If I could 6 stars I would.
It took me a day to get used to it obviously because its like a ps4 controller and i’ve had the xbox controller for years now. But i’m performing better in most of my games and it just feels so smooth i love it and i will recommend it to all my friends.
Eu sempre procurei um bom controle para jogos de luta, no xbox, considerando que o original do prprio console pssimo para essa finalidade.

With a form factor akin to a dualshock, it might seem counter intuitive to use it with xbox. However, the quality of this controller is top notch. Triggers and sticks are buttery smooth, the DPad is a god send, very much like the olden days. All buttons are clicky and responsive, and the best thing is you dont have to break bank getting customization and paddles. The only caveat might be that theres just 2 paddles and it can only be cusomized to another controller button, however, for the price and quality that is a non-issue. The cable is ridiculously long as well and since I prefer cable controllers, that works for me.
Mejor mando de todo el mercado para PC, aunque sea caro sabes que te va durar mucho mucho tiempo ya que la mayora se fastidian al cabo de los pocos meses, comprado para jugar al Elden Ring en Windows 11, conectas y listo, lo malo… que no es inalmbrico.
I love it so far. I always hated using any controller after the Xbox 360 just because it always felt weird using their controllers on their Xbox systems. But when I use a normal Xbox controller my computer it’s pretty good, just not on their consoles. But this controller helps me have way better control playing on the Xbox system without the need to use their brand controllers and it makes playing 200% better for me <3 I never been so happier playing on the Xbox since the 360 (I play on the Xbox series x)

Muy buen mando, 8bitdo es una marca de mucha calidad, dira que de mas calidad que los oficiales de Microsoft, por lo que recomiendo 100% su compra si buscis un mando licenciado, olvidad otras marcas, pues son de mala calidad y no son precisamente baratos para lo que te durarn, con este tienes mando para aos.
Buenos materiales, un diseo bastante ergonomico, soy de manos muy grandes y me siento comodo a la hora de utilizarlo.
Es algo mas grande que el de ps4 lo que ayuda a usarlo comodamente.
El tacto de los botones es bastante bueno (me lo esperaba peor), los jostick van perfectos con un tacto identico a ps4 y xbox.
3 metros de cable que la verdad que dan lo suficiente para utilizarlo en una distancia considerable.
La instalacion es inmediata, sin errores ni esperas.
Resumen: Calidad/precio creo que es de lo mejor que se puede compra

I enjoy playing retro and fighting games so having the dpad on the top instead of the bottom of the controller is a preference.
I got this controller to play a lot of different games on PC. Some notable games I’ve played with it so far are Guilty Gear, Elden Ring and Halo Infinite. The d-pad works really well for retro and fighting games, and the sticks are comfortable and accurate enough for FPS games as well. I like not having to worry about a flimsy USB-C cable falling out while I’m playing. The force feedback is new to this series of controllers, and it’s well implemented. None of that rattle that some other third-party controllers get when the motors engage. I’m really happy with this controller.
Fr gewhnlich zocke ich Fighting Games auf der Playstation, da mir das D-Pad dort mehr zusagt. Mit einem Stick komme ich nicht zurecht. Da es aber die ein oder andere Titel nur auf der Xbox mglich ist (z.B. Tekken 6, Killer Instinct, frhere DoA Teile) war ich auf der Suche nach einem vernnftigen Controller. Ich benutze ihn auf der Xbox Series X. Controller ist super hochwertig und absolut sein Geld wert. Das Kabel ist ausreichend lang. Fr mich klare Kaufempfehlung, wer Fighting Games oder Platformer auf den Xbox Konsolen zockt und etwas mehr Komfort als mit dem Standard Controller haben mchte.
A great little controller for those who prefer PlayStation controllers over XBOX, or just want a better DPAD (especially nice for retro stuff) The App (UltimateSoftware) works great on iOS (haven’t tried it for Android or Windows) You can change button mappings, stick and trigger deadzones, vibration & more.
I would have given 5 stars if the controller was wireless unfortunately it’s wired, not an issue for me personally and it saves on batteries, though I understand some will be disappointed.
For KontrolFreek’s users: The XBOX ones fit perfectly, the PlayStation ones do fit and are useable but are slightly too loose and spin around.
Honestly I was looking for a wired controller but didn’t want to spend the money on another Xbox controller. My last one started getting a drift inn the thing stick. After replacing it still drifted. But that has nothing to do with this review but why I bought this one. The response time I could already feel right out of the box and hook up. Took a little bit to get used to going back to a snes or playstation style controller but didn’t take long. The feed back on the controllers was great. It didn’t feel cheap in my hands and it worked with everything I tossed at it. I would suggest this over a normal Xbox controller.
As a former PS3 user, I couldn’t adapt well to the original Xbox One controller.
This one worked much better for me. Nice button/thumbstick placement and feedback, nice texture, minimal visual language and a nice app can be used to customize buttons.
No major complaints, especially for the price!
My main criticism is that, if I connect my over ear headphones, with slightly above average impedance, to the controller, they sound pretty bad. I have been connecting my headphones to an amplifier instead, which make them sound much better.
Please don’t stop producing these, not only is the controller of good build and quality for price but the software really compliments it. No problems connecting with my razer headset, in fact it’s better than my previous razer controller, good sticks and buttons, thank you!
Sehr guter Druckpunkt an allen Tasten und griffige Oberflche der Analogsticks. Das Steuerkreuz ist nicht schwammig, anderes als bei vielen anderen Controllern. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass es keine kabellose Version gibt.
Me gust mucho el control, no tengo Xbox pero es 100% compatible con windows. Lo malo es que no lo reconoce ni raspberry pi ni el MISTER FPGA lo siento mucho
I got this controller because my switch-style controller kept disconnecting from my laptop. I looked at a lot of controllers and I ended up settling for an 8bitdo.
I chose this particular one because it reminds me of the Logitech F510 that I used before its right trigger broke. The 8bitdo is WAY more ergonomic than the F510. It feels great in my hands, though I do keep pressing the back buttons accidentally. All the buttons work really well. This is my first time using it so I might update my review if anything changes.
The only problem is that the back of the controller’s box is damaged. It kind of looks like someone tried to rip it open but it might’ve just gotten banged around during shipping. Either way, the controller itself isn’t damaged so it’s no biggie (:

Yo juego mucho a juegos de lucha. Este mando vale 10 menos que el Hori fighting commander octa y creedme que le da 25 patadas al culete y lo manda al rio. En temas de acabdo general del mando, tacto de los botones, LA CRUCETA es mil veces mejor, es que no hay comparacin (la del octa es funesta, me he comprado ya 5 mandos y todos fallan por la cruceta, se rompe). Esta cruceta es perfecta. Lo recomiendo mucho. Los fallos: el tamanyo del mando para manos grandes, se queda un poco pequeo y el tamao de los botones axyb son muy pequeos. Por lo dems un 10.
This controller is awesome! It feels really comfortable, it feels premium even at this price point. I got fed up of the elite V2 failing so often, so picked this up expecting a cheap alternative, but it has easily become my favourite controller. I’ve already pre-ordered the new Xbox layout one. The thumbsticks feel so nice, even if not in my preferred layout.
Only 2 downsides, it’s not wireless and for some reason the mic monitoring on headsets doesn’t seem to work with this controller, odd, but not a huge deal.
Definitely recommend.
This controller is one of the better third party controllers I ever had. I never thought a controller would feel like the OG Xbox360 controller mashed with a PS1 controller and that fits my hands sooo well.
3 weeks using it with Elden Ring and it is holding up, no drift. I spend 2 hours a day on average enjoying games so I am not the lightest user out there. Weekends I can do 5 hours easily 😛 . If this lasts me a year , then I can happily buy another until they stop making it. I think I found my fav new controller. And here is the cherry on top, it is half the price of a PS5 controller . A big win. 8BitDo , well done , that is some good product you have here .
For the price I was a little cautious at first, though I’ve used 8bitdo products before and was happy.
This time I’m super happy. The build quality is fantastic for the price, the controller is comfortable in the hand, and the wire is nice and long, I use it for PC gaming and I’ve had zero issues!
My favorite controller shape, solid build quality, easy to use software, and the back buttons fit my grip perfectly.

first off the joysticks feel amazing, good feel and accuracy, D-PAD is well…a nintendo D-PAD, but a fantastic one that just feels like it was vivisected out of a SNES controller, rubber pads and all.
the only thing i don’t like about it is how short the cable is, if you pick one up get a usb extension cable as well.

Recebi o controle j faz algumas semanas e at agora tem funcionado perfeitamente. Achei que iria demorar para acostumar com o layout dos gatilhos, mas at que bem prtico. Funciona muito bem para jogos atuais, mas brilha em jogos retro.

Es un control tipo PlayStation, es un poco grande si estas acostumbrado al tamao de control del series s/x, pero en general de siente de buena calidad y es cmodo.
I use this on my PC and it is one of the most comfortable controllers I’ve ever used. It feels like a Playstation 2 controller which was the sweet spot for me. I like the analogue triggers especially in driving games and the vibration feels as though it is above standard for strength.
However, the vibration motor doesnt feel as accurate as a PS5 or nintendo Switch Joycon. Love the fact that it’s wired too as I don’t have to worry about any connection issues, literally plug and play. Compatible with every game I’ve tried so far from Battlefield 2042 – Google Stadia games.
Wicked little device .
1. D-PAD isn’t sharp / jagged. No long term thumb blisters as you play.
2. D-PAD reads my diaganal inputs! Now I don’t have to focus so much on that = CLARK SPECIAL GRABS GALORE *Main reason I’m keeping it*
3. Has L3 and R3 analog. Needed for Play/Record in Fighting game training mode. But you can play ANY GAME w/ it. Feels fantastic.
4. Looks and Feels 1st party. You can replace your 1st party controller w/o fear at 2/3rds the price. So even if it breaks on you. You’re not paying 69.99 plus tax anymore.
5. Medium sized hands wont feel as constrained as they do w/ the M30 (or any sega saturn style controller).
Highly Recommended.

This controller is awesome, I bought the Wireless Pro 2 and had one major issue with it that seriously turned me off, so I picked this one up out of curiosity. This has almost all of the same features (sans the mode switch but you don’t really need that for PC gaming as much? Use Steam’s controller driver for anything that doesn’t work.) but doesn’t have the problem of it recalibrating the sticks everytime I alt+tabbed back into Monster Hunter Rise.
The Wireless one is great if you play on Switch, but if you’re a PC player like I am then this is the one you should get.
Honestly I read the reviews on here and was looking for a cheapish controller and came across this and never heard of the brand before.
Anyways I’ve had the controller a few days now and I’ve played with it for numerous hours each day and I honestly think it’s the best controller I’ve bought and used since my scuf years ago but they cost 150+ and this was 39. It’s miles better than the Xbox controller honestly no stick drift at all while playing FPS games. The buttons are nice and clicky and the trigger stops and back buttons are so good!
The only down fall that it is wired and the wire is like super long so if your miles away from the tv then it wouldn’t be a problem but I’m at a desk with a monitor and I sit close and I have to hide the wire a bit so my chair doesn’t get tangled up with it but apart from that I would 100% recommend!

Despus de comprar 2 inalambricos multisistemas sn30 pro creo, saba que sera buena compra, una lstima que el sistema privativo de Microsoft nos limite a tenerlo en formato alambrico nicamente, sin embargo excelente mando, personalmente lo considero mejor al de xbox series sin duda, botones suaves y no ruidosos, sensacin slida de buena construccin, personalizable, sin duda las 5 estrellas ganadas.
I have owned this controller for 2 weeks. Device is decent but has issues. The analogs are way to small for a full size controller, they are the size of Nintendo Switch analogs which is a big negative. The triggers have noticable dead zones which is a negative for multiplayer games. The mute switch is underneath the 3.5mm headphone jack which is also a negative because majority of headsets use a 90 degree 3.5mm, that 90 degree bend gets in the way of accessing the mute switch.
Expected build quality you expect from 8BitDo and wired! I wish this is less exciting but trying to get decently priced PC wired controllers is hard! Much better than the Turtle Beach Recon I got before I realised this was available soon (sure the Turtle Beach had more features but when it randomly disconnects and cannot do the thing it’s intended for – being a controller – all the extra frills are meaningless.
Would be nice though if more obvious where to find the software and drivers etc but that’s a website problem, not with this product.

I come from a PS4 background. The placement of the joysticks on a standard Xbox controller just bugged me. This one matches my habits. It works very well with my Xbox S. I also like the programmable paddle buttons, which I assigned to do the left & right “stick” functions. It’s easier for me than pressing down on the sticks.

– Im vergleich zu Scufs angenehm leicht dennoch gut verabeitet, controller ist fest mit einem Kabel verbunden, Kabel kann also nicht getauscht werden
.- In der app ist alles einstellbar zb. Wie auf den Bildern erkennbar 2 vibtarionseintelkungen, einmal fr die schultertasten und fr die normalen
– es gibt ein schalter unten am controller zum muten, sowie tastenkombinationen zum erhhen der Lautstrke oder zum einstellen vom audio chat
– die app steht auf der verpackung drauf, muss man nur ffnen standort und bluetooth freigabe, dann blinkt am controller schon eine taste die man einmal drcken muss und schon kann man alle tasten konfigurieren, die deadzone der sticks und druckpunkt der hinteren unteren tasten oder wie empfindlich die sticks reagieren
– Software ist in englisch
– Synchronisation nach ndern in der app ist sekundenschnell gende
I returned this as I could not get on with the thumbsticks. That being said, in a day and age when the price mark up on products is OUTLANDISH vs the cost of production, and greed dominates, I was beyond astounded at the value and quality of this controller.
If you can get on with it, I HIGHLY recommend this controller.
Der Controller hat mir nach einiger Zeit so gut gefallen, dass ich mir inzwischen einen Zweiten gekauft habe.
Nachdem ich ber die Weihnachtszeit endlich genug Zeit hatte, Bloodborne und Demons Souls auf der Playstation durchzuspielen, war die Rckkehr zum knarzenden, laut klickenden Controller der XBox Series X sehr gewhnungsbedrftig. Durch Zufall habe ich dann diesen hier auf Amazon gesehen, der vom Design her dem der Playstation entspricht und wollte ihn mal ausprobieren.
Nach all den schlechten Erfahrungen mit Controllern von Microsoft, habe ich das Gefhl mir diesem hier auf Anhieb etwas Zuverlssiges zu haben. Bisher hatten meine Original-Controller immer wieder einen dieser bestimmten kleinen Fehler: Eine Taste hat keinen Widerstand, L3+Vorne-Links geht nicht, D-Pad spinnt bei einer Richtung usw. Dreimal hatte ich schon einen Elite 2, den ich wegen solcher Fehler nach kurzem Anspielen aber wieder zurckgeben konnte, zuletzt ganz schmerzhaft sogar eine Halo-Edition.
Bei diesem Controller stimmt fr mich alles, wobei sich das D-Pad fr Spiele wie Street Fighter oder Killer Instinct etwas weniger eignet. Bei direkten Eingaben wie fr Tetris gibt es aber keine Einschrnkungen.
Die Tasten auf der Rckseite lassen sich mit einer App belegen und wer z.B. Borderlands mit den Standardeinstellungen gespielt hat, dem muss sptestens beim ffnen der 1000. kleinen Kiste aufgefallen sein, dass da was nicht stimmt. Diese zwei Rcktasten braucht man heute einfach und sollte Standard werden.
Mit angemessenem Abstand zu einem 65” Fernseher, unter dem die XBox steht, ist das Kabel ausreichend lang mit Spielraum. Wen die Playstation-Belegung und ein Kabel nicht stren, der kriegt hier wirklich einen sehr guten Controller fr die XBox.
For 40 I honestly wasn’t expecting much but this controller is fantastic, feels weighty and premium with great feeling buttons and a really good D-pad, if you prefer the ergonomics of the PS4/PS5 controller then this is probably the best third party controller out there in terms of price/performance
The fixed cable is super long though, I get that this is primarily made for consoles where you’ll be sat a few feet away from your system, so it’s not ideal for PC/desk use unless you don’t mind the long cable trailing around the floor or your desk. A detachable cable would have been preferred but the fixed cable probably helps keep the price this low vs other controllers
Perfectly honest, I usually wouldn’t pay this much for a wired controller, but this time I’d make an exception. The finish of the controller is great for grip and the grips were perfect for my hands. 8bitdo does it agai

Es un control muy recomendable, cuenta con vibracin en los gatillos (no muchos controles ms econmicos que el original tiene esa funcin), 2 botones adicionales tipo scuff y un D-pad (“cruceta”) muy superior al control original.
El envo por amazon fu muy rpido y servicio adecuado. El control funciona perfecto.
Lo que no me gust fu que la caja viene muy sencilla. De acuerdo, es un detalle no tan importante, pero me caus una primera impresin no muy buena. Otra cosa, que me gustara que corrigieran sera programar los botones de la palanca trasera sin tener que usar el software.
Otro punto negativo, que vas a sentir incmodo el control sobre todo si has jugado mucho con el control de xbox, en especial con el joystick izquierdo. No es tan cmodo como el de ps4, pero tampoco tan terrible como los joysticks del ps3, esos si que eran poco ergonmicos. Pero despus de un par de das usndolos, me he sentido ms agil y cmodo, es cuestin de acostumbrarse.
Sin embargo, me gusta mucho ms la sensacin de los botones, siento que son ms exactos, que necesito usar menos fuerza y mucho ms agradables que el original. El software tiene funciones muy interesantes, es intuitivo y fcil de usarlo, as que vale la pena tenerlo instalado y configurarlo.
Muy recomendado si vienes de ps4, si quieres tener un control scuff, si eres de jugar muchos juegos 2D y/o retros, que tenga vibracin en los gatillos y que tenga botones muy satifactorios de utilizar.
La forma de los mandos de 8bitdo esta basada en los de supernes, y este no es una excepcin, solo que le aaden los asideros tipo play en los laterales, haciendolo an ms cmodo.
Tena muchas expectativas, la marca tiene cierta fama, pero tengo que decir que es merecida, el mando es robusto, de buenos acabados, nada que envidiar a mandos oficiales de play o Xbox, con pulsaciones muy cmodas y adems, este modelo lleva los botones de funcin extra de Xbox para jugar en pc.
Si lo quieres para emular, cualquiera de los modelos sn o pro te van a ir perfectos, pero si adems lo quieres para jugar a juegos actuales, el pro 2 wired es ideal.
Luego est la discusin de si cable o inalmbrico, con el de cable de reduce el input lag y no tienes que estar preocupado de que se termine la batera, adems de no depender de la conexin bluetooth (y aviso, el cable es laaaargo), y con el inalmbrico ganas la comodidad de no tener el cable por medio.
En resumen, un pedazo de mando tanto para emular como para jugar a juegos actuales, 100% recomendado.
Je voulais une manette avec une croix si mtriques avec les boutons, trs bonne surprise, c’est sans input lag (usb) et dans les emulateurs types retroarch je vous conseille de retirer une frame dans l’initiation. Mais c’est vraiment pour chipoter.
Bought this because I’m so used to the layout of the sticks on Playstation controllers. I only had 1 issue with the software not detecting the controller on PC. I ended up just using the mobile app and now it works great with my mapping. Great option if you need back buttons and remapping!
Tout simplement la meilleure manette de jeu que j’ai eu entre les mains. Qualit de fabrication excellente, pas de drivers spcifiques. Elle fonctionne aussitt bien que les manettes originales. Sous Windows les boutons sont automatiquement les mmes que sur la console. Trs confortable et lgre. Le cble fait plus de 2 m.
After using a PS5 for the previous 2yrs, my hands simply could not get used to using an Xbox controller (I sold my PS5 to buy an Xbox Series X). The DualSense PS5 controller is so comfy and I much prefer the parallel thumb-sticks. The off-set Xbox controller thumb-sticks along with the chunky ergonomics instead of the much thinner PS5 controller, made gaming unenjoyable. Thank the Lord for the 8BitDo! I absolutely love it! So comfortable and a joy to play with (if you prefer the PlayStation style pad). It even has re-mappable buttons. And for under 40? No brainer. On a side-note, the 8BitDo controller for the Nintendo Switch is the most popular in the world for it. I’m telling you this so as not to be put off by it’s name or thinking this is an unheard of company. They produce great gaming controllers!
OK, this is the best controller I’ve ever used. I prefer it to my PS4 pad, and this is now my standard controller for PC. I’ve always hated the asymmetrical sticks on Xbox pads, and the terrible dpads they have, hence my preference for PS pads. This is better. The dpad is excellent, the buttons have just the right amount of travel and it is VERY comfortable in my hands. The native Windows compatibility is useful, and I actually like that it’s not wireless – less time wasted worrying about battery life, just plug and play.
If I have any complaint, it’s the triggers – they’re great, have just the right level of sponginess and springiness. But their sensitivity feels a tad off sometimes. Luckily, the included calibration software allows you to tweak the controls fully, including swapping and remapping buttons and adjusting the sensitivity sensitivity.
Overall, great in every way, and the build quality is excellent. If you buy any third party controller, buy this one!
I mainly bought this to try in fighting games like guilty gear or street fighter and I must say that it is very comfy but the dpad does not satisfy me, is very easy to miss dp inputs, I would stick with the xbox one controller for fgs like those, even tho the control is perfect for everything else so I’ll keep it for my casual gaming, really nice buttons and great comfort while playing.

Plutt bonne surprise pour du fabricant autre que Microsoft ! La prise en main rappel la manette de PSX ce qui n’est pas sans dplaire, elle fait son taf sur tous les jeux, elle manque un peu de poids tant habitu plus lourds (manette Xbx avec piles) mais reste tout de mme bien en main. Les jeux rtros sont encore plus agrable (Street of rage, pack de jeu Megadrive..) et Trackmania notamment grace au Pad directionnel ractif et prcis.
Utilisation ponctuelle en seconde manette, j’espre la faire durer quelques annes.
This controller is fantastic for gaming on an Xbox, i absolutely prefer it over the standard controllers or any other aftermarket one’s I’ve used. That being said though, if you’re gaming on PC then it is basically just a neutered version of the original Pro 2 which has more features (Turbo function, Macros, and the choice of wireless or wired use). If those features don’t matter to you, then this controller is a better choice and will just save you money
Es buen mando si te apetece jugar con las manos en posicin play, perfecto si tienes las manos grandes, a m se me hace un poquito grande. Se puede desconectar el cable sin desconectarlo de usb.
Once plugged in, Windows 10 immediately recognizes the Pro2 as a Xbox 360 controller and you’re good to go. However, I really recommend installing the software, as it allows you to map the 2 additional buttons on the underside, remap all other buttons and tweak the deadzones, as well as the vibration motors. A custom profile with all the changes can then be stored on the controller. Once a profile is stored, you don’t need to have the software running in the background, all you have to do is press the profile button and it activates instantly. If the profile button is pressed a second time, the profile will turn off and the Pro 2 will work as a default Xbox 360 controller again – very nice!
The Pro 2 feels super comfortable in my hands (small-medium) and not as bulky as the Xbox 360 controller. It’s surprsingliy lightweight and really feels like they took the best from the Xbox, Playstation and SNES controlles and combined it into a new, near-perfect shape. The materials have a high quality feel to them, not just the cheap standard plastic I’ve seen on other Xbox 360 clones. Nothing is flexing or creaking and all buttons feel solid and snappy. The sticks have a rubbery finish which feels very smooth and grippy at the same time. I especially liked the analog triggers which are very satisfiying to press. They have just the right amount of resistance and their deadzones/activation points can be customized in the software. The underside is textured and makes the Pro 2 quite grippy even with sweaty hands. There’s really not much to complain in terms of build quality.
However, I do dislike the stick buttons. They are too hard to press in for my taste and don’t feel as clicky as they do on the Xbox 360 controller. Locking onto enemies in Dark Souls 3 was kinda tedious and slow, to a point where I had to assign them to the buttons on the underside via the software.
And while the D-Pad is very precise and much better than the Xbox 360 controller’s, it feels a bit wobbly. Definately useable, but not perfect! Maybe just a quality control issue on my copy, considering all the praise the D-Pad gets from other reviewers, but something I have to point out nonetheless.
Another minor gripe I had was the default setting of the vibration motors. It’s just too extreme for my taste, probably due to the lightweight design. Personally, I’m not a big fan of vibrating controllers, but others might not be bothered, maybe even find it more immersive. I was just happy I could tone it down in the software, so it’s not really a problem.
Overall, I’m very impressed by the 8BitDo Pro 2 and had lots of fun in a variety of games. I don’t know if I’d recommend it to FPS pros on SCUF controllers, as I would never play FPS with a controller, no matter how good it is. So I’m not really qualified to give an opinion. All I know is that for the price of a SCUF or Xbox Elite, I can get 4 8BitDo’s and set up a whole family with decent controllers…

Bastante cmodo, de calidad y excelente material. Tiene buenas terminaciones y los botones son de presin corta. Dependiendo del juego hay que hacer pequeos ajustes, pero eso ya depende del juego netamente
This controller feels so natural to use. I use the back buttons for FPS game like Apex and man, I wish I never bought the Pro controller cause these buttons are excellent. Treat yourself to something simple, comfortable and useful. This is my favorite controller and I’ve had many. Also great for fighting games. Like buttery smooth.
Well exactly a year later, they revealed the Pro2 wired for Xbox and it was exactly what i requested in that email so I had to get it, finally after a few days of testing the controller i gotta say.. I absolutely love this controller, works perfectly for the use i purchased it for and there will never really be a fear of running out of charge/batteries during gameplay or having the controller disconnect like i did with my PS4 controllers. Many claps to the 8Bitdo team, thank you for finally releasing my dream controller.
Not as ergonomic as the Xbox controller, but I think it is worth it for the price. The directional buttons are squishy like the classic NES controller. The phone app had no problem detecting the controller. I especially like the varying rumble strength this controller has unlike the rumble on the Xbox controller.
It has the ability to be programmed over bluetooth from your Android phone (even though it’s not able to be played that way), and it allows you to edit button mappings and deadzones for all the controls. It also has multiple profiles you can store on the controller, which is handy. I’ve been using it with Windows and it seems to work fine. I did however find that it didn’t work with my Linux distro of choice, so if you’re buying this as a do everything controller, I don’t think it’d be as compatible as other generic controllers out there (such as the standard Pro2).
The build quality, button feel and placement are all very nice, the textured back is surprisingly comfortable and the sticks are velvety smooth. The only downside I can generally find is that it’s a wired versus a wireless controller. It’s not a huge detriment and means it never runs out of batteries, however it’d be nice to have the option. In every other regard though, I have no problems with it.
