Pretty heavy duty metal, easy to install moves like it supposes to.
Easy to install and is sturdy. I wanted this for mounting in front of the treadmill, so I was looking for something that felt like it could take a knock or two. This mount felt solid and installed smoothly.
The only thing I wish it did better was fit my iPad and case more easily. We have a case with a little flap jacket, and it fits barely. It’s also a bit pricey, but that may be more because I don’t use the key for security purposes.

It is very sturdy. I mounted it the back of a IKEA PS 2014 Secreatry Desk as I wanted something that would fold out of the way when done. The goal is trying to keep a very small work-from-home imprint in my home. Out of sight out of mind.
I bought an external monitor (basically a thicker/bigger ipad) and this mount is perfect. As others have noted, the joints are very stiff. There is a allen wrench that you can use to loosen each joint if you like. Easy peasy.
This is a no-compromise mounting arm. The extension is good & with no weakness fully extended. The structure, connections, adjustability & finish are all excellent. Easily adjusted for resistance at all the joints to assure your preference for ease of movement or rigidity for permanent applications. If you have a public application, the security makes it a safe one. Don’t even think twice about it. You won’t find a better one.
I like to read while getting ready for the day (while brushing my teeth, blow drying my hair). I needed something to hold my ereader and this device does the trick. I had it mounted on the wall within five minutes of opening the package. The instructions were easy to understand and the mounting hardware was included. This is a sturdy wall mount. It is well-built and solid. I like the flexibility of it. I can rotate it around and get it at the right angle. This will not lay flush with the wall (just so you are aware). It holds my ereader securely. I am very pleased with this sturdy mount. My mother saw it and now wants one for her bathroom. I am going to get one for the kitchen as well so I can read while cooking. This is a good durable tablet mount.
This mount is extremely stable. It is made from Heavy-duty aluminum, the hinges are solid and there is no flexing on this mount even when fully extended. I am using this to hold my Smart Home hub which runs on a 10″ Android 10 tablet. This mount is adjustable to multiple angles as well as rotating 360 degree for easy access to your device. The arm length can extend to 16.5″, keep in mind that when arm is folded closed your device will sit 4.5″ from your mounting surface. If you are looking for a flush wall mount this one won’t do it.
The mount has a keyed lock which not only keeps the sliding clamps in place but prevents bad actors from removing your device from the mount.
The package brings the mount and mounting hardware, it took less than 5 minutes to get it mounted to the wall in my office. I am very happy with this mount.
So this is one of those mounts that you drill into the wall, and once it’s in, so long as you drilled into something really stable, it’s good to go for some time.
The bar is sturdy, the rotation is perfect, the look of this is great, the movement range is good and the quality is awesome.
Overall it’s the best pad mount I’ve ever seen/used so I definitely gotta give it a full five stars.
