5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Machine. Easy to assemble and use
So easy to use, whip it out and use, no having to go for petrol, struggling to start it, stinking of exhaust fumes and petrol. Its a tough little machine that gets the Job done. Got through a patch of four foot nettles in no time. I’ve a big garden so I will have to invest in an extra battery120 (very pricey) or I may buy a bosch cordless mower (interchangeable batteries)to replace the corded Bosch i’ve had for years. It lasted about forty minutes going full tilt almost all of the time without the battery getting hot, and after a seventy minute recharge did another forty minutes. The auto feed works better than the bump feed on my petrol strimmer. Agree with other reviews it is a little heavy after thirty mins, Glad I bought it, petrol strimmer is going out for the scrap collectors.
This is a replacement for a blk & decker STB3620L-GB which expired after 6 years use. The Bosch seems well made and effective so far. But one issue the handle is a fixed lenght so if your over 5 feet eight check it out if you can before you buy.

I am a lady in my own had to get someone to show me how to use it with the button . I find it heavy but decided to get a good make it does the job but wouldn’t hav bought it if I realized it was as heavy
WOW, WOW, WOW AND DOUBLE WOW.
I’ve actually owned an electric flymo strimmer for near on 30 years and yes it’s still working. But I’m now going to give it away to our new neighbour in the hope of encouraging him to trim his grass edges. We don’t need it anymore since buying this incredible Cordless Bosch. It’s absolutely brilliant. Light weight and powerful. There’s a bit of grassy waste ground next to our garden and we like to keep a clear pathway through it beside our hedge. I couldn’t wait until next summer to get trying out this new Bosch so I road tested it today Nov 23rd 2022. And I’ve been blown away by this incredible machine. It cleared the whole area in ten minutes, ten minutes, it always took me more than half an hour with my trusty old flymo mostly due to being careful watching its cable and not tripping on it. Do I recommend this new cordless Bosch? You bet I do. Wish I’d bought it much, much sooner. All my garden equipment is now cordless Bosch including my hedge trimmer’s and leaf blowers. And so I’ve plenty of batteries to keep me going long enough to complete any of my garden tasks. Thank You Bosch for another great product. Excellent service and product from the seller. Wanted to get a rechargeable strimmer and shopped around a bit before buying. We have made the right choice. Works perfectly, exceedingly quiet compared to previous model we had. Also powerful cuts through the long tough weeds we had. Great product all round, lightweight too.
Good strimmer for larger garde
A little difficult to get used too but very effective once mastered.
Suggest extra battery is a useful addition for the larger plots.
Excellent grass trimme
Very easy to assemble and use, however, I strongly recommend a harness. This is the best grass trimmer I have ever had. Strongly recommend.
Cordless = freedom
Between them the Bosch cordless strimmer and lawnmower have reduced the strain and time of cutting my grass. I never realised how much of a pain it was laying out the various extension power leads (and winding them back up) and dragging them around the garden until I didn’t need to do it any more. Wish I’d bought them years ago!
The strimmer was ok for me (an aged fit guy) but the weight might be an issue for less able people working larger areas though…
Works well
No where near the weight of my previous petrol strimmer but, for grass and weeds, probably as effective.
Battery life is also pretty good, allows me to do my allotment on a single charge.

Swapped a petrol strimmer for this and it can hack it’s way through everything that that did!

Bought this strimmer because I already have the 36v batteries. It’s a bit overkill for the size of my garden. Heavy and powerful.should have gone for the 18v lighter version, but then I would have had to buy 18v
batteries and and charger.

Good, powerful strimmer. Easy to assemble & dead simple battery fitment. Strims grass, long cooch grass, thistles, nettles and young, lishy brambles with ease. Battery lasted 20mins, so easily good enough for small to medium garden sizes. Simple battery charging. I have a large and wildlife friendly garden and this enables me to strim wherever and pretty much whatever I need to in 2 charges

Love this , with Bosch reliability/customer service & the battery interchangeability with other Bosch equipment. Very happy & only regret is that I waited as long as I did.
You may need an extra battery so you always have a spare but otherwise my only niggle is with the string autofeed function. I’m finding I’m having to push the button underneath to get a longer thread quite a fair amount.

Quality build and performance
Bought this to replace useless B and D product returned twice with same fault. This is a much better build product, with an excellent battery and easy to use. Quality item, and have several other Bosch garden products. Avoid B and D and buy Bosch.

Since the batteries are interchangeable I thought I’d treat myself.
I used it for first time today. It is about 4 times quieter than my electric one. My first thought was it wasn’t working properly due to how quiet it was. But it was indeed cutting the blades and although not as fast at spinning it was a quicker job as I didn’t have to do 2 passes or stop to untangle wiring.
It even went into the walled corners better.
My only thought was the angle of the arm to the cutting head, it’s not adjustable. So you have to compensate by holding differently.
I’m not tall and if I was it may be harder to use.
But as a strimmer it works perfectly.
My lawn is about 14m x 5m. The little 2ah battery then went into the leaf blower and I managed to blow all the leaves off the whole grass area then blowing the patio and path of 40m squared. The battery went flat right at the end.
Great little unit. I will be buying the lawnmower to complete the set.

This strimmer is robust and very easy to use. I’m a woman in my 60’s and it can be a tiring due to the weight. Luckily, the battery lasts long enough before it gets too much. I use it on my allotment (250sqm). I highly recommend it to women at all ages.

Excellent bit of kit – Wish I’d have got one years ago, but I was slightly concerned by the battery life, but it easily lasts for long enough for me to get around the front and rear gardens tidying up all the edging and has plenty of grunt.
Good quality
Easy to assemble from the box. Much more likely to use it because there is no cable. It has two strimming lines in a cartridge, which can be fiddley to lace through the holder. Battery life is good enough; the strimmer will start to feel heavy first. Maybe good to get a strap to help support it.

Does everything that I require of a garden strimmer. Not too heavy but worth having a support strap. Battery life is good although a second one is a worthwhile addition!

Used for trimming grass and shrubery. A bit heavier than I had hoped for as longish use makes arms ache

Easy to use,battery life seems to be good. Worth the money, easy to put together straight out of the box. I would recommend that a harness should be used as the strimmer is reasonably heavy but after saying that it is very robust and I believe it will give a long service life.

As fast as a petrol
Very fast but need to get used to the auto feed system. Unlike a petrol trimmer where you have to tap to feed this feeds when you release the trigger but once you get used to it is easy.
I recently bought this cordless grass trimmer as it is compatible with the Bosch cordless lawnmower and leaf blower that I have also have. They use the same 36V battery system, although the lawnmower I bought has a 4AH battery; the trimmer comes with a 2AH battery.
All these items have been simple to assemble and use. The trimmer is much quieter than my existing petrol 2-stoke one and light and simple to use. The cutter features two rotating cords at 180 degrees to each other rather than the usual one, and cuts well. I’m very pleased with it and would recommend it without question, particularly if you have other compatible Bosch cordless garden tools.

Tres bon produit utilisable avec les batteries 36v 2ah ou 4ah de la gamme bosch pro! Test dans un foss avec des haute herbes, il fait son travail correctement , moins efficaces qu’un thermique nous sommes d’accord mais vachement plus lger et plus pratique !!
Best strimmer I’ve had
Phewww just strimmed the entire street love it so easy and best of all fits with my hedge trimmer setup so much easier, I did think petrol first but had issues starting old ones I had if left too long mixing fuel was also a ballache

Easy to use. A bit tricky to see where you’re strimming along a lawn edge, but copes well with long grass weeds as well as lawn edge.
Powerful easy to use
This is my third device that uses the same battery and they are all easy to use. Having multiple batteries means that I never run out of power, though this has never been an issue as battery life is good. The dual feed makes a good job of trimming the lawn
There is a button that easily turns the head through 90 degrees so it can trim the lawn edges.

What a beast, battery lasts 45 mins between charges cut the strummers cutting ability is superb, this purchase is replacing a 18v strimmer with plastic cutting tabs and this is 300% more efficient less than half the time to do the job
Powerful battery strimme
This replaced a similar model which, after a few years, suffered from stuff caught round the shaft which I couldn’t remove and Bosch gave an estimate to repair it which was more than this new purchase. So only 4 stars, because I really think they should design it so it’s easier to get at the shaft that strimmer line, garden twine etc. gets wound around. However, this is a good strimmer and I have a mower and hedge trimmer to match, all using the same battery system. This strimmer is as powerful as my last petrol one. Needs a harness to take the weight comfortably and I think feeble that one isn’t included.

efficacité et rapidité
aille bordure trs effiace et rapide. La batterie tient relativement longtemps mais pour une grande surface mieux vaut en avoir une seconde sous la main. Le travail est trs prcis et puissant la fois. C’est vraiment un trs bon produit. Je ne regrette absolument pas mon achat !

I think it badly misses auto feed as it’s quite fiddly making sure the two ends of the stimmer wire are equal after they snap short.
The actual green covering has scrubbed off after a handful of uses. Not like Bosch but none the less it doesn’t affect the actual output at all.

I wish I could have the high speed and long battery life of the Bosch with the lightweight and variable speed of the B&D.

Does not have a variable angle head
I find the cordless strummer rather heavy to use over a long period it has the 36v battery which has a great charge span. I must admit that i am more used to a strummer with more flexible positions of the head.
It took a little while to assemble the strimmer (tip – the diagrams are towards the back of the thick multilingual manual, the English text near the front – use bookmarks!), and text/diagrams not 100% clear (more like 80-90%). Once assembled, it worked very well. Contrary to a few reviews, I found it quite manageable, not too heavy, although maybe someone a bit slighter might need a shoulder strap. Battery life seems good. One point to note: the strimmer line is automatically fed out 1cm each time you stop the device, so don’t stop/start frequently or you will waste a lot of line! I noticed that when the battery got close to exhaustion, while the strimmer still worked effectively (although noticeably less so than on a full charge), line didn’t get automatically fed out.

It is marginally less powerful than the old petrol one, but that is an advantage as the petrol one kicked up lots more debris/stones, etc. One other useful feature: an adjustable plant protector which you can extend out the front to stop your plants/shrubs/trees etc, being flayed by the strimmer line.

Does what it's meant to.
Shield around the strimming head feels a bit lightweight and flimsy.
Don’t think it will be long before the line trimming blade is ripped out of the shield, or the shield breaks completely.

4 YEARS IN THIS THING IS EXCELLENT
Still on the original battery which i use to power the hedge trimmers as well, i have a big garden 1/3 acre and two 100ft hedges needed a petrol replacement, felt very inconsiderate sparking up a petrol stimmer etc on Sunday morning.So bought the hedge trimmer and the strimmer had them 4 years now and still going strong really good kit if they both broke tomorrow i couldn’t complain. Battery charges quickly anyway if it runs out get a brew and come back to it in an hour.

Ayant eu plusieurs coupe-bordures filaires, j’avais t trs du par leur utilisation. Mais celui-l m’a enchant ds la premire utilisation; je fais mme du dbroussaillage avec. Je l’utilise avec la batterie de ma tondeuse, une 2.6 AH, c’est nickel.

We bought it because we already had 4Ah batteries for our Bosch lawnmower, we have only used it to tidy up around the edges. Would recommend following the advice given in the instructions, and wear eye protection and thick trousers.
Einfach nur cool
Es macht echt Spa mit dem Bosch Rasentrimmer. Man kommt in die kleinsten Ecken, alles sieht schn ordentlich und akkurat danach aus. Die Akkus passen wie immer in alle anderen Bosch-Gerte auch – einfach nur top.
Practical and powerful
Very handy because it is wireless. It gets a bit heavy after a while so if you have a big yard I suggest you but a carrying belt with it.
I’ve been using this all summer now. It is so much easier than having a cord and I like the auto feed as there is no more stopping and starting to feed the line. It’s powerful and takes me half the time in comparison to my previous corded strimmer. It is a bit on the heavy side but manageable and doesn’t put me off recommending it. The positives by far out weight the negatives.

Perfect tool, does what is is supposed to do. Battery (2.0Ah) goes a long way, perfect when using other 36V tools as you do not need a battery for each item.

Bin von der Leistung des Trimmers begeistert. Man merkt eigentlich keinen Unterschied zum Benzingert. Leider ist der Trimmer mit Akku auch nicht leichter als ein Benziner. Nur etwas Leiser und er Stink nicht so.

I was not certain what to expect but already had the bosch equivalent lawn mower and knew how good they were, however very happy with the cutting and balance which makes it easy to use.
Tolles Gerät mit Handicap
Akku hlt sehr lange,ist sehr stark,sodass auch dnnere ste und Hecken geschnitten werden knnen.
Habe die passende Heckenschere und kann mit dem Akku beide Maschinen nutzen.
Nachteil ist das Gewicht, wird mit der Zeit dann doch schwer.

Good solid product with long battery life. Quite heavy and cumbersome though. If you are short/small and not that strong I would avoid. Also not good for people who intend to use it for prolonged periods.

ce coupe bordure est idal pour les travaux de finition, il fonctionne avec les batteries de ma tondeuse, sauf que j’ai 2 batteries et il y en a qu’une qui s’adapte bien, ou est le dfaut, la batterie ou au coupe bordure?
I was sick and tired of the petrol strimmer not starting. When that worked it cut thr the weeds like butter. But after every winter it would never start so decided to go cordless. After buying a second hand bosch mower that takes the same battery, I decided to buy this new. Would definitely recommend it. Bit on the heavy side but it’s no heavier than a petrol strimmer which it directly competes with. I’m going to attach a shoulder strap like I had on my petrol strimmer to make it easier to carry.

I bought a cheap sling/harness for a few pounds and it works like a dream. Why don’t Bosch include a harness…? I can’t see the trimmer being of a lot of use to Joe Public without one. Add a couple of pounds to the price or at least make it an option at purchase.

This strimmer is well worth the money as good as a petrol one .Bit on the heavy side if using for longer time a shoulder strap would be handy.Cant fault it though.

Ist zwar nicht das billigste Teil aber da ich schon den dazulassenden 36 Volt Akkurasenmher hatte bin ich auf diesen Rasentrimmer gestoen.
Von der ersten Verwendung an definitiv berzeugt und wrde es sofort wieder kaufe

What an excellent piece of equipment! I’ve used lots of strummers over the years, both petrol and electric, never dreamt a battery powered version would be the best! Really powerful with long battery life before needing a charge, even when strumming thick undergrowth.

Ich find diesen Trimmer so unfassbar cool. Er hat Kraft wie sau und ist sau einfach zu bedienen. Ich muss kein Benzin holen und er ist sehr leicht. Der Trimmer liegt gut in der Hand und wie gesagt er Trimmt sehr gut. Ich wrde ihn mir Kaufen wenn ich ihn nicht schon htte
Enfin !!! Je ne suis plus esclave du cble lectrique de mon coupe bordure sur mon grand terrain …
On peut recharger la bobine de fil avec n’importe quelle marque, pourvue que le fil est la bonne dimension !
Attention chargeur et batterie assez cher !
Was habe ich mich jahrelang mit diversen Rasentrimmern rumgeschlagen und Verlngerungskabel bers Grundstck gezogen.
Da ich bereits einen 36V Rasenmher und auch eine Akku-Heckenschere von Bosch besitze, lag die Entscheidung nahe, auch einen passenden Rasentrimmer zu kaufen.
Ohne bertreiben zu wollen: der beste Trimmer in Handling und Funktion, den ich jemals besessen habe. Endlich bin ich nicht mehr vom Kabel abhngig und der selbstnachfhrende Trimmfaden mit 1,6mm Durchmesser macht einen vorzglichen Job.
Was habe ich mich mit dem alten Modell geqult und musste alle paar Meter den Faden per Hand nachstellen. So gefllt mir das. Daher Daumen hoch!
Ce coupe bordure se montre trs efficace, mme dans les herbes un peu hautes. J’ai achet ce modle car il fonctionne avec la batterie de ma tondeuse de mme marque. Batterie 4A, grande autonomie, en contrepartie rend l’ensemble assez lourd. Je vais acheter une sangle pour soulager mes bras. Livraison trs rapide.
Gutes Gert und als Fadenschneider angemessen in der Schnittleistung. Super dass der 36V Akku meines Bosch Rasenmhers passt.
Faden kann als Meterware gekauft selber ersetzt werden. Einfach in der Anwendung.
Ich habe den Bosch Trimmer heute mal so richtig gefoltert, was soll ich sagen, der Bosch wollte mehr, nur ich brauchte eine Pause.
Ich habe zwei Akkus, einen 2 Ah und einen 4 Ah. Ich bin sehr zu frieden und wrde ihn wieder kaufen.
Arrivato con un giorno di anticipo e provato subito, si rivelato un ottimo prodotto che fa egregiamente il proprio lavoro. Avevo gi la batteria al litio del rasaerba: installarla stato un attimo. E’ il primo attrezzo di questo genere che uso perci non ho tanti termini di paragone. Posso dire che molto poco rumoroso, taglia bene le sterpaglie, benissimo l’erba alta, ma non leggerissimo.
The description on the amazon site is not very clear. It is very like the “ART 30-36 LI Cordless Grass Trimmer Without Battery and Charger, Cutting Diameter 30 cm” That is to say it is the newer model. It is a very good machine and takes the same battery as my 36V hedge trimmer, which I have had some time so I knew the power was there. This one has a swivel head for edging (which it does not mention in the description, nor the photos, which seem to be from the earlier version) a great feature. All in all I would recommend this to anyone, but do bear in mind that it does not come with a battery, but if you already have a bosch 36v Lion battery it should fit.
Ich habe den Rasentrimmer (zusammen mit dem passenden Akku-Mher) fr unseren mit Brombeeren und anderem Gestrpp bewachsenen Hang bestellt. Bislang leistet der Trimmer gute Dienste, die Brombeeren machen keine Schwierigkeiten. Der Akku hlt lang genug fr unsere Flche und die Leistung ist konstant. Das Handling des Trimmers ist sehr einfach und er ist durch das geringe Gewicht auch fr Frauen problemlos zu verwenden.
Fonctionne parfaitement avec les batteries 36v de ma tondeuse. Du coup j’ai aussi achet le souffleur – trs bien aussi. Gnial la vie sans fils…!
Je passe le fil pour les bords et autour des arbres, puis la tondeuse, puis le souffleur pour faire propre. Rsultat impeccable dans un minimum de temps.
