I’m disappointed that this premium product needs some hand finishing with a metal file. This is because on one corner of the top of the blade there is a very sharp corner where there shouldn’t be one. I expect it won’t take much work to rectify and I do have a number of metal working files. However, this spade is a gift for a family member and I will need to take a file with me when I next visit them to file off the sharp edge. I will also update this review with a before and after photo. I would expect with a premium product some sort of quality control inspection before being released for sale which this product appears to lack.
Nice spade. It is lighter and takes less effort to use it.

Love this garden fork, removed the small bushes first try. Feels strong and sturdy without being too heavy for a little woman. Big plus it is made very locally to me.
