The ECM500-series electric TV brackets support load up to 30 kg/ 66 lbs, and are available in 3 different sizes based on your TV’s VESA size:
- Small, most 23″-43″ TVs, max. weight 30kg/66lbs, VESA size 200×200 or 200×100
- Medium, most 32″-55″ TVs, max. weight 30kg/66lbs, VESA size between 400×400 and 200×200 (for TVs with VESA 300×200, minor modification required but can be requested free of charge)
- Large, most 43″-65″ TVs, max. weight 30kg/66lbs, VESA size between 600×400 and 200×200

FAQ: How to check my TV’s VESA size? Which model is best for my TV?
A: First locate the 4 threaded holes at the back of your TV, then measure the horizontal/vertical distances between these holes. If horizontal = 400mm and vertical = 200mm, then your TV’s VESA size is 400×200.
It is always better to choose the smallest bracket compatible with your TV because there is lesser chance of it blocking the TV’s AV ports. So if your 65″ TV has VESA 400×400, the “Medium up to VESA 400×400” is a better choice than the “Large up to VESA 600×400”, although both sizes are compatible with your TV.

Installation was easy, we have it for a while now. No problems with it, can definitely recommend it.
32inch tv too small
Product is good, slow moving but that is not really an issue, it just takes away the wow factor when you show people as they get bored waiting. Only main issues are 1, power cable protrudes through the front looking rather untidy instead of positioned at the back like on most appliances, 2nd, it says suitable for 32inch tvs, however the bracket is so big that you can see it around the top of the tv, again, not looking very flash.

We now have one in each bedroom. Ideal for our smart TVS that don’t need anything but the tv. Massive space saver & practical

The webbing that pulls up the bracket had been wound around its bobbin the wrong way. Fairly easily sorted. Very happy so far.

Brilliant item TV is stored on the ceiling freeing up wall space. The viewing angle is much better and the experience of watching TV is enhanced. I used this in a bedroom environment so no unsightly wires down the wall. It is so good that I bought four of these for my other bedroom projects. Highly recommend.

Perfect when you need to change angle of Viewing
Perfect if you want to put it over the bed or an area where you do not want the TV to be vertical but tucked away horizontally. The remote is easy to use and it has 2 set-remember positions.

The only gripe I have is the red light at the front but that can be easily solved with a bit of electrical tape.

An excellent space saver.
We would normally put the TV on the wall, but we just purchased a much smaller home and there is no wall spare for it. I am often unable to get out of bed, so having a TV in my room feels essential and this felt like a good solution…and it is!
I thought it would monkey around with my need for tidiness and symmetry, but it looks great and i doubt we will fold it flat to the ceiling very often, as it look neat and makes me feel like I am in a hotel room :0)
I had a bad experience buying one of these from another buyer on Amazon, but this company were so easy to deal with.

Great solution for mounting on the ceiling
This products provides a solution to the problem of not wanting/or not having space to fit a TV on the wall. In our bedroom (which is small) this enabled us to fit a 32in TV on to the ceiling with the benefit of being able to move it out of the way when not in use. It is sturdy and well built and quiet when moving. It could be a little faster but that’s not a big issue. You can vary the angle with memory settings on the remote. And there are several different height options for the tv. Only thing that could be better is the cable management could be nearer near the hinge. Very happy with the solutio

Didnt have a free wall in my bedroom to use a normal wall bracket so bought this and it’s a really good way to utilise ceiling space.

Great product, useful for mounting a TV in front of a walk in wardrobe or cupboard, and can raise to access behind it

NOTE: Up on the template is not up. Pay attention to the off centre scre holes and line it up accordingly.

Funciona muy bien, es perfecto para poder ver la tele tumbado en la cama y despus recogerla, la tv se queda integrada en el techo y no est por medio (teniendo un falso techo claro)

It takes almost an entire minute for it to go from fully closed to fully open position. Another thing I would expect from a 175 TV bracket would be a more silent movement. You will not wake up the person sleeping next to you, but you can hear it pretty well.

I bought this for my bedroom to fit a 42 inch tv as I have no available wall space, it was straitghtforward to fit, very sturdy and easy to use. Arrived earlier than expected. Well worth the money .

Solution though is to get some black nail polish or black insulation tape over it. Still trying to figure out how to get the IR to work with my TV remote. FYI the TV on it is 43″ and weighs about 14kg. This does not just drop down or throw up your TV it comes up and down nicely in about a minute each way.

Does what it sets out to do but there is no swivel. It didn’t have the bolts for my 32″ tv so I had to go out and buy some. The remote is a bit silly as if you want to recall a setting of a position it’s 2 buttons needing pressing.

Fantastic bracket and really good price, fitted on bedroom ceiling with a 43″ LG TV. Works great, paired with TV remote control so when you press power button it comes down and turns TV on, press again it returns to ceiling and turns TV off.

The build of the product is very good, not cheaply made giving confidence that it’s hard wearing and not going to fail and fall down. Comes with a template so you don’t have to hold up the bracket to mark out the holes. Installation is very straight forward and I had it up and working within 30 mins. My only gripe about it is the speed in which it lowers and raises, it takes a while which I feel could have been improved, which is why it didn’t get the fifth star. But over all it’s a good product and I highly recommend.

Very easy to both install and operate – motor is silent and takes apps 1 minute to raise and lower each time. As I was installing through a plasterboard ceiling I needed to build a mount for the screws provided but this was a fairly easy task. I also needed to run 240v power to my loft space as I wanted to hide the TV and motor plugs – seek professional advice on this if doing something similar and you don’t have plugs already to hand. The slip on black plastic cover is simple and hid all of my cables. A great product – really chuffed with the end results and design – definitely worth the effort and costs to install and hide all cables.
