First of all, this is a great little product and definitely value for money. This would have gotten a 5 star rating only for the effort it took to get the foam handles onto either end of the bar. Thankfully, someone had commented about using WD40 which is what I ended up doing, thank goodness I had some in the cupboard else it would have been coconut oil or lube! Anything!! I wonder who product tested this and had a great laugh thinking about all the people trying to put those handlegrips on.

Very sturdy, high quality and definitely burns the ab muscles. It’s comfortable and the mat makes it that much more usable. I’d say the price is justified and it’s really easy to put together. 5 stars.
Inexpensive and (for the price) brilliant!
It’s inexpensive and works just as well as a more expensive ab wheel.
Build quality is good. You can set it up with two wheels (more stability and better for novices) or a single wheel. Axle holds weight well with no flex. Little rubber mat for your knees to go on is great.
Just remember to keep your arms locked straight doing ab wheel rollouts to avoid hurting your elbows (the case with any ab roller).

As per described,made of sturdy materials.I was a bit sceptical about the metal tube this comes with.However,it seems strong and easily holds over 150kg.The soft foam handles were easy to put on which is important when changing from double wheel to single wheel use.Overall a great product for the price!
Good ab traine
Trains the abs well it just took me like 3-4 days to get the balance of it. If your starting start of with knees and dont do the same mistake i did trying to start standing up
Strong roller.
This product met all my expectations and requirements. You can change between gaps to make it more stable and easier or central ( wheels interlocking) to make it slightly harder.
I read about people giving it lower marks cos they can’t get grips on!? It’s them that need to get a grip.
Little bit of olive oil, coconut, face cream, ky jelly before putting them on and they fly on easy. Didn’t think that would be hard to figure out but…. There ya go.
Anyway awesome product and my abs and core know all about it! I can only do it from kneeling atm but when core and abs strengthen I’ll do it from standing to horizontal. Hard AF but seen it done.

Are you struggling to put the soft grip handles on?
The looks and description are great, handy little booklet advising, how to assemble your purchase is awesome, giving beginner and advanced instruction.
However l struggled to put the first handle, perhaps my right hand isn’t 100%, if you purchase this item, and find that putting the second handle is difficult, my advice is to put a little baby oil on your finger, rub this on inner end of soft grip and also on the head of the bar, l found that it slides on easier than the gentle twisting. I hope this is okay.

Putting the foam handles on is actually quite easy if you use the right technique
A lot of 1 star reviews say that they can’t get the foam handles on. What I did was to just get it on as much as you can, and then hit the top of the foam tube with your hand and it will go on easily

Sturdy for what it is
A few reviews have said it’s hard to put on the foam handles but I didn’t seem to have any issues. As for using it, it makes me work and at the time you think I’ll be ok. 2 days later I was struggling to move but I have no regrets in buying it I use it every other day with no issues
Does the job. Foam grips go on putting the bar in the freezer for 20 mins
This does the job and great durability. The mat is big enough some may have issues if you have problems with your knees.
Only half issue is the foam grips are tight on the bar to put on or off. But putting the bar in the freezer (if you have room) makes it easy to put on and remove the grips.

Great product, can feel the difference in my stomach muscles and upper body only after using it a few times. Plenty of videos on YouTube on how to use it properly!
The wheel feels solid enough once assembled. The grips can be tricky to get on. I just went the insides and they slid on no bother.
Definitely recommend, especially for the price. Really effective if used correctly.
The product does exactly what it’s supposed to do, it’s stable, the foam grips are comfortable and it’s a bonus to be able to progress from double to single wheel.
But there’s no way those foam grips were getting on the bar without lube. I tried without and it felt like the foam grips would rip immediately.
Another reviewer mentioned the instructions suggested wetting the bar with water before twisting on the grips. Firstly, my instructions didn’t mention this. Secondly, you may get the grip on a wet bar but I don’t think those grips are coming off in one piece when you come to convert from double wheel to single wheel.
Do yourself a favour and spray the ends of the bar lightly with WD40 before twisting on the foam grips for the first time. Then hopefully there will still be enough WD40 under the grips when you come to convert the wheels to avoid ripping the grips.
Have some kitchen roll standing and make sure you wipe up any WD40 residue after you’ve assembled, so the grips aren’t left slippery.
With the WD40 spray, it installed in seconds and was completely safe to use after the residue was wiped away.
Easy to use workout tool
This is a great price for a brilliant workout tool. Very sturdy and does exactly what I needed. The mat is fine, it’s only there for your knees so everyone saying it’s too small must be expecting to lie on it. Very easy to put together.
A useful tool for using at home. Pretty solid, and comes with either two wheel (bit more stable) or one wheel alternatives. Main reason for 4 rather than 5 stars is the tiny mat for kneeling on it is about 14 x 6 inches and 1/2 inch thick. Probably best to replace with something like folded yoga mat, pillow or (clean) gardening pad. The rubber sleeves are difficult too get on unless you follow the instruction to put water on the shaft and inside the sleeves, then it is relatively easy to put sleeves on with screwing motion. Instructions say use a hairdryer to warm up sleeve at 60c. Which I am guessing is about medium as my hairdryer doesnt show temperature settings. So far no sighs of marking the carpet which is a big plus.

Recommend this ab roller. Nice little foam mat to protect knees. Sturdy. Slightly annoying that the wheel moves towards hand grips quite often. But would purchase again. Great for abs very pleased with my results from using this!
Pretty good
The ab roller itself is decent quality. The “large” knee mat is ridiculously small. It’s barely wide enough and it’s so narrow that when I move forward my knees roll off it so I have to start with my knees half off the back of it so they roll onto it. The wider setting seems like a gimmick to me but it doesn’t make it any worse so I guess it doesn’t matter. It’s fine.

I can highly recommend this. I have been using it for a couple of weeks now, and I can really feel it working on my abdomen muscles. Using it with the hands and wrists gripping vertically on the bar at all times gives your abs a much better workout than gripping the bar horizontally.

Took a bit of effort to assemble since I didn’t use water to get the grips on but it appears very sturdy after a few sets. I only done about 3 sets of 10 or so, trying to keep my form as best I could and I woke up the next day with my abdominals obliterated; it hit my obliques, centre core and lower abs. Infact I feel a belt like line going across my lower abs which I never felt soreness in before. I believe its the part of your core which keeps your lower belly tight (I couldn’t be bothered to search the name but I know it has one).
It’s important to try and not let your lower back cave in and your arms straight to not involve the triceps too much.

Good product. Easy to use if you know how lol. Assemble may be a bit tricky due to pushing steel rode into holders but using a bit or plain water does the trick. Stable and possibility to use two wheels or one. Plus knee pad is useful.

The grip material is very soft and can get damaged during installation, I would think the grip would wear out quite quickly.

Very Happy with rock solid bar which supports me NO problem I’m 255lbs..I had previously bought a new fad rounded roller which broke under weight cos they disguise the handle with foam and only half a metal bar underneath with the rest plastic.

This is a very good equipment and no doubt about it. Well made too. But it is extremely difficult for any beginner.
I think it should come with a longer rubber mat, as the one in the box is very small. If you are planning to stretch yourself to the maximum then you surely need to buy a full length rubber mat.
