Great for a young child
This is a good size and works well. The pens are a good size to fit small hands. Bought as a present for my niece, she had a great time with it.

I bought this Aquadoodle mat for my 2-year-old daughter who loves drawing and painting. She was delighted when she saw it. She enjoys using the water pen, the stampers and the paintbrush to create colourful pictures on the mat.

Brilliant mess free toy that allows children to be creative. Love the extra stamps and the paintbrush. It does take quite a while to dry, but for the play value it’s not too much hassle to leave it to the side to dry

My 2 year old nephew absolutely loves this and it is MUCH easier to clean up puddles of water than paint so everyone’s a winner!
Great fun and no mess
I bought this for my granddaughter last year and she still plays with it now that’s she’s nearly 2. She loves the paintbrush which uncovers hidden pictures when she paints the water over them. She points at the pictures around the edge too and says the words. Well worth the money and no mess!
Reasonable Purchase
Two different coloured sides. Drawings show up more on red side than green, toddler also noticed this as only really used red side. Very handy for the car. After a while drawings didn’t show up quite as clear as initially but still worthwhile
Good colour Mat for on the move
I like this aquadoodle but had it just over a week and the little one has spilt something on it and I can’t get it off so a splat in the middle of it.

Limited for creativity
This is a great idea and I love that there’s no mess. I’m not so keen on the gaudy pictures underneath and around the edge and the designs on the stamps. Personally I think it would be better without an invasive border and with simple shape stamps that children could make patters or other pictures with. I would also prefer it if there wasn’t such a detailed picture revealed underneath as it ends up taking over from the children’s own drawing.

I bought this for my granddaughter for Christmas. She is 17 months. Spends more time sucking the water out of the pen! Her 4 year old brother absolutely loves it. It’s really good for recognising numbers and letters. Had to buy another pen so they had one each. Would definitely recommend it.

My 17 month old keeps trying to take my sketching items and she loves this as an alternative. It’s giving her the hand eye coordination that she will need when she gets onto other things later on.

Bought as a gift for my 2yr old niece and she loves it. She demands more water when the little tray is empty and will happily sit and doodle until there’s no space left. The grownups can’t help but join in too!

Bought for my 2yr old and she loves it. Good variety of tools. My only issue is the cushion for the blue tray. It never stays in! Always falls out when stamping with it. Should be fixed.

The best thing I have ever bought for my son. You fill up the little pen with water then draw for as long as you want and once there is no more space to draw in you simply take your hairdryer and dry the thing in seconds and continue drawing. Endless fun and more importantly no mess! Because there is nothing to make mess with! How much mess can a little pen with water make compared to wax crayons or markers. No more drawing on the wall with this pen or on the floors, no more stained couches etc. And also it’s great when your little one loves drawing but is still at the stage where they put absolutely everything in their mouth. 10/10 would recommend to everyone and I plan on buying it for all of our friends with babies. Also it’s not expensive compared to the quality and all the advantages.

Really like this water mat. Got it for my niece years ago and gifted one recently for my friends daughters so they can play while she does a bit of work. I like that it has the alphabet on it so kids can trave around the shape and the numbers and simple pictures. Would recommend. I did buy extra pens from a different company though so an additional pen would be good!

I’ve bought this for our grandson, the pen is egg shaped to no chance of choking or swallowing, i needs to sit with the water for a minute or two then the nib is absorbed and ready to use, it’s good fun and packs away small, very sturdy too

Really fun for young kids to learn to hold a pen properly and use their fine motor skills. I bought this for my 9 month old who’s far too young at the moment but will keep trying with him as he gets older and hopefully soon he will be scribbling away.

This is our second one as our first one has been wore out after year and half. I thought it would last for a longer time but I have to say that we did use a lot, it was part of our daily activity. I love the fact that it’s mess less, it saved lots of time for cleaning up. Great product!
Bought it agai
It’s easy to use as you just add water and start drawing. I feel it’s a bit of expensive but compare to other cheaper ones this one has much better quality. The end doesn’t get dry that much. It didn’t last that long for our first one as we were using almost every day. This time I think it will last longer as my little one doesn’t use that often. Based on the quality I would recommend it.
A good product, not quite 'deluxe large' size
A great product – It comes with the mat, pen, brush-style tool and 2 stamps (with a stamp pad to soak with water).
My only negative would be that I was expecting the mat to be larger. I’ve not previously owned any Aquadoodle products, however the mat doesn’t seem to be very big – I would say it’s smaller than a travel size changing mat.
Overall, I would purchase more bits and pieces to go with the Aquadoodle, however I would also look into other brands (i.e. cheaper alternatives) which would do the same job.

Great for little ones
I bought this for my 12 month old grandson and was pleased to say he loved it (as does his parents). Really easy to use and leaves no mess.
Perfect for travel and keeping things tidy
So good for travel. All the fun of markers, none of the mess. The only down side is the little re-fillable water “marker” can leak if the cap isn’t on right. I found it was best to not fill it all the way to the top.even if it leaks it’s about half a teaspoon of water, it can just mark up the drawing board and you have to dry it out before they can use it again.

This is great for kids discovering pens but without having to worry about your walls, doors and cupboards! Have bought for several neices and nephews and they have always been happy.

Most of this product is worthy of 5 stars. My little one loves it, the pen that comes with it is great, much better than the pen with the travel one that we have had for a while. The stamps are good with the spongy pad that you just add water too.
However, I have to knock a star off for the “brush” and tray of water. This product is sold as no mess, and although water is less mess than paint or ink, the water tray from this part of the product is just a stupid & lazy design. Compared to the other tools that nicely contain the water this is literally just a pot of water. With all aquadoodle products, if they get fully saturated in water they just don’t recover, you will always see marks and it spoils the product, so having a pot of water with a childs product what do you expect to happen? It would be much better if the brush had the same design as the pen, with the water contained.

Very practical for travelling with under 2’s!
I love the travel aqua draw and it was great fun in the car for my 19 month old. My only issue is that the pen that comes with it doesn’t hold much water so it runs out quickly. However if you purchase an additional bigger one then it would solve this issue.

win babies 12 mths getting into drawing – sometimes with pens ( when not being sucked) or with wet hands and fingers. simple concept. order extra pens – tho we have used a cloth wrapped around a teaspoon !

Was surprised with the quality from this easy to use educational too! Only down side is if you have a younger child they can somehow get the water out the water pen by sucking on it so you have to put a time on this activity then clear everything away for safety. Apart from that happy with my purchase.

20month old leaves this and has for some time now. It is going to be great for friends houses when we can finally see people again after lockdown. Been looking at smaller alternatives to keep him entertained when out for dinner etc in the future.

My 4 year old granddaughter loves this aqua doodle which will help her with her letters in preparation for school. She has always liked the plain aqua doodles so this is one step up.

Had one of these for our eldest daughter (now 8) and loved it so bought again for our now 2 year old who loves it. The whole mat can be coloured/painted quickly so until it has dried again, it is a little wait – by then she’s moved onto something else. But, love the colours, the simplicity and the lack of mess… Always a bonus!

My son absolutely loves this aquadoole mat. I was in two minds whether to buy it as I thought the price was abit steep. However, I would paid double for his reaction, he gets so excited when I put it on the floor and spends ages mark making and using the paint brush.

My 1 year old loves this. Granted everything goes in her mouth and she thinks the pen is a drink, she still however enjoys drawing on the mat with her saliva ridden pen. Lol. Would deffo buy again!

Fantastic for our 2.5yr old. It’s simple to open up and use and dries relatively fast. Although ensure you let it dry before folding as you’ll end up with lines in it otherwise.
We ordered additional pens but haven’t needed them as there is all your little one needs in this set. Perfect for breaking up the boredom at the moment and mess free

Very nice size and features. The pen is durable and needs refilling often, however, the great colours increases its play value. Better to buy the original, compared to others on the market. Aquadoodle items have always been a pleasure to buy.

Fantastic idea for kids
My little girl is almost 2 and a budding artist, she watches her cousin who is a bit older colour in and has been desperate to get involved however she does get a bit messy. This has been the perfect solution. She is completely fascinated by it and will sit and draw happily, her cousin who is 5 will join in too.

One of the best toys we have in our house. Have bought cheaper versions but can see why this one is little more expensive. Worth it in my opinion. It gets taken out a good bit and just great fun. Nice graphics and size. Only gripe I have is I’d like to be able to buy the brush and pens at an affordable cost. The ones I have are getting a bit wrecked now because we have them so long

Ignore the reviews about this being a cheap version of other makes. Aqua doodle was the original version of this product and it does exactly what it says on the tin. I bought this for my daughter 3 years ago when she turned one, I bought it the following year for my niece and I have purchased again this year for my nephew. It is perfect for little ones who are experimenting with motor skills without the worry of a messy carpet/flooring. Good value for money and most toy shops charge at least 5 more than this price. 10/10 I deffo recommend.

Great product but i would have liked to see dome pouch with the product which would be handy to keep all the pieces together. Also water does seep through so if you put this on soft furniture it will wet those surfaces. Otherwise great fun for little ones

Good toy for when baby learns to draw. As this does not make mess. Although finding that it is harder to get our child interested as the colours are not so vibrant when drawing on the sheet.
