    Small, neat, LED only.
The same lamp comes in white, nickel, black, and bronze. The base incorporates a switch. So if you need a switched wall light and don’t want a pull cord this is ideal. Be careful to buy the right one, there is a very similar design without a switch, though that has a square rather than round base. You can see a picture of that on Amazon, I don’t know why you only get to see a drawing for the switched lamp.

It is a small neat lamp, which can only be used with LED bulbs as it is limited to 6 watts. That is plenty bright enough to read by, you may want a lower rating. A halogen bulb would cause it to run very hot as there is little space between the bulb and the lamp. The fitting of the lamp to the wall is quite simple if you have the confidence to do basic mains wiring (turn the lighting circuit off first). As with all GU10 designs, it is a real pain to fit the bulb because you have to line it up accurately without being able to see what you are doing. But they last a long time so you will not often have to do this.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersLooks good, tricky to fit bulbs.
Bought this to go over the work surface and sink in the kitchen. Installed by electrician with no problem and looks very nice. Four stars because the bulbs are tricky to put in as it means taking the covers off the light fitting with a tiny screw which is difficult to get at and easy to loose. We put the bulbs in before installation and as they are LEDs we hope we don’t have to replace them.

    Sturdy light.
Great little light. Expensive for what it is but I suppose when you need double insulation then you have to pay for it. Best price I could find anywhere on the web for this light.
Looks great up. Was for a low ceiling, long attic room in a house without an RCD. So perfect.

Very Good Quality , ease of installatio
Solid and very easy to fit.
Spotlights move easily and have a good range so would suit just about any position in the room.
Not the cheapest but in terms of quality and easy of use well worth the extra money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersYou get what you pay for...
So yes, this is expensive (150), but sometimes it’s true that you get what you pay for. It’s fantastically designed, with a real eye for detail, and looks better than anything comparable. So you win there. On top of which, it’s constructed really practically and to a high standard, so fitting it is quick and SO much easier than most others. So another win there.
If Apple made light fittings they’d work like this (but they’d probably cost twice s much!).
Can’t think of anything to criticise… it arrived packed carefully, in perfect nick… and even delivery was really fast and cost less than a fiver.
    I’m a very happy camper!! 😉
