The gloves themselves are each powered by an included 7.4 V Li-Ion battery. There is a small compartment that holds the battery on each glove in the wrist area. The battery is easy to fit and is held in place by a Velcro strip. I haven’t found the battery to be noticeable when wearing the gloves. The batteries are fixed by a barrel connector to the gloves wiring which is secure.

A charger unit is supplied which has two outputs, one for each of the gloves.

The gloves are easily switched off on and the heat adjusted by pushing a button switch on the rear side of the glove. There are three LEDs that illuminate the level of heat being supplied. As each of the gloves have their own battery, the level of heat in each glove can be set individually. There are no wires between the gloves, each is self contained.

I have found that the gloves are comfortable to wear. I have not felt any uncomfortable creases and I have found the heat useful on cold days. I don’t think that the heating levels make a huge difference, but I do notice their performance compared with other gloves. I can’t feel the cold in these, whereas I can in other gloves.

The gloves fit well and are adjustable round the wrist by a drawstring with a stopping ball. I have not found them restricting movement, or loose or just flapping around. Finally, the gloves can be paired together using an integrated small buckle clip.

I consider these gloves are relatively expensive, but they are well made and warm. Furthermore, they work well and look like they will last for a considerable period. Containing a 7.4 V battery in each glove, these gloves are designed to produce heat. If money is no object and you are looking for a warm pair of gloves, then these will fit the bill nicely.

These gloves were amazing and the heat lasted all day. Easy to use too

For years I’ve had to pause halfway along my ride to work in the winter because my fingers hurt so much. I’ve never found a pair of gloves that are warm enough for my long skinny fingers so decided active heating was the only solution.

These have solved that problem completely for me. There are three heat settings but the first setting seems to be to weak to be perceptible. Settings 2 and 3 seem to do the job nicely though. My commute is about 40 minutes each way and I seem to be charging these approximately every other day.

Very nice gloves in their own right and pretty warm even without the heating. Comfortable and maintain good dexterity (brakes and gears no problem) with an excellent cuff design that holds the battery unobtrusively and keeps the heat in.

The size guide was out for me, but sending them back and going up a size was no problem.

They are expensive, but I’ve wasted a fortune over the years trying to find gloves that work so these are well worth it to me !

I’ve bought cheaper heated gloves before and they were a bitter disappointment

These on the other hand heat very well, even outside, and the gloves themselves are thick and warm

Charging is easy, you can remove the batteries and charge both at the same time

My only criticism is that the button to turn them on, and the LEDs displaying the heat/battery level are bright and are extremely visible, especially at night
It’s quite annoying because everyone can see a massive LED light on your hands

I received the gloves and tried them on after charging the battery. The effect is very good. The temperature has three levels of high , medium , and low, and the glove work is also very delicate and feels good. The design is quite good, it’s hot in a few seconds. When my hands are cold in winter, my finger joints hurt. With this glove, I’m not afraid of going out for sports. The delivery speed is very fast. I received it in two days. Wearing gloves You can also operate your mobile phone, which is pretty good.

To what are very thick and warm gloves in the first place, batteries induce a heating system on a whole different level.

Fantastic idea that I would love to see administered on a more sleek level as these gloves are oathish and cumbersome. Its funny that the designers were so intent on giving the gloves touch screen ability as the very practicality of this with the material used will sooner make you tear of the gloves and contract frost bite than to endeavour at the arduous task Ok maybe not as far as that but you get the gist. Having said that, having the probability there is better than none.

Within the sleek draw-string bag are these very stylish gloves that anyone in the snow or near sub temperatures would be grateful for. They have two points of adjustability for the perfect fit and insulation. Reflective strips are not just aesthetics but a nod to safety. The battery packs add a slight bit of weight at 72g respectfully.

These gloves warm your hands in a lush radiance of comfort. With plush quality materials they are a prized possession, just wish they were a bit sleeker.

These heated gloves fits as expected and they are very comfortable I have to say. They are very expensive because price at the moment is 129.99. They are powered by lithium polymer battery which is really good, on lowest temperature setting can be used for about seven hours, on medium temperature setting can be used for about 4 hours and on maximum temperature you will be able to use for about 2-3 hours, but on highest one is really warm. These gloves keep your hands comfortable and protected by offering three layers of material between your hands and the cold environment. What I mostly like that these gloves absorbs moisture to help keep your hands dry. Long battery life what is really helpful.

These gloves are lightweight, they have a wrist strap for tightening although they do have elasticated wrists. They have a soft fleece type lining with a lower small velcro pocket and a sewn in cable to connect to the battery pack, one for each hand.

Once connected and the glove button pressed, you can select either low, medium or high heat, once switched on they heat up very quickly, these gloves are ideal for biking, hiking, outdoor activities, or even just taking the dog for a walk, you’ll never have cold hands again and they come with a handy two cable charger as well.

Legend has it that these gloves by BARCHI HEAT can heat your hands up during your expeditions/treks In the cold weather. However, I wouldn’t rely on these gloves to be your saving grace, and here is why.

Firstly, these gloves are battery operated (lithium polymer batteries) and hence need to be charged in order for the gloves to heat up and hence work. The skeleton of these gloves (without the heating mechanism) is fairly basic and you could find gloves that are thick, robust and warm at half the price of these (if not less). Yes these gloves are fairly thick and warm, but these are more like mittens than gloves and hence won’t be feasible to use if you’re climbing Mount Everest for example. The exterior grip is a little obsolete due to being not very grippy (seems to be more for design/aesthetic than anything else.

Though there are a few functions that I do like about these gloves mittens. They provide 3 different heating settings and within 1-2 minutes you will already begin feeling the heat of the gloves on your fingertips. It doesn’t burn you but still feels pretty warm so could be great for those moments on your expeditions when you can’t feel your finger tips due to the cold. They are also adjustable on the wrist to ensure all the heat remains in the glove for maximum efficiency. The three settings provides various temperatures but also longevity of battery life. This ranges from 2-8hrs (65c-45c respectively). It is also great that the battery flashes when you’re low on battery. Though if you will take these with you on your expedition trip you will want to make sure they are fully charged before hand (no pun intended).

Overall, these are a great idea for a product but at this price tag, I would hope that battery life would be a little more long lasting especially if expedition trips can last days without access to electricity to charge batteries via 3pin mains. 4 stars.

Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! 🙂

This is the second pair of heated gloves that I’ve tried and I’m still surprised at the high price of them but that’s up to you. These are really well made and the battery pack in each glove is slightly smaller and less bulky than on my other pair. There’s a charging plug that can do both at the same time and the simple button controls give you three levels of heat. They heat up really quickly and work well, the fit is great and they feel like they will last.

I was the perfect person to try these heated gloves as I’m always cold. I’ve got heated socks, hat, scarf, gilet, blanket and now gloves so I couldn’t be happier.

The gloves are packet into high quality packaging so they’re ideal to give as gifts.
You can tell these gloves are high end goods too. The fabric and finish is outstanding. The sizing is perfect too as I got size medium which fit perfectly and I’m a size 8/8.5 gloves.
They have a buckle to pull the cuffs tighter and prevent heat loss.

Get the two batteries and charge them then put each one in the velcro pouch inside the gloves. Then press the button on the top to change to one of the three heat levels. They heat up really quickly and keep your hands lovely and toasty warm.

I think these would be excellent for bikers or outdoor pursuits although they have to be kept dry. The only thing I’d change is the logo written in bright red embroidery. I’d want it elsewhere but it’s not a deal breaker.
Overall, yes the price is quite high but I know all these items have a high price so that aside they’re brilliant and definitely a recommended purchase.

    Brilliant heated gloves

About 12 years ago I bought a pair of electrically heated gloves. These were powered by a U2 battery which A) did not produce much heat and B) ran out of power fast.
This pair with modern Lipo batteries develops far more warmth and it lasts much longer, especially with the variable heat level.
They are comfortable to wear and fairly flexible and even when the battery is fitted they are not heavy. I wich that I had had a pair back i my motorcycling days, day when I have stopped to hug the cylinder of my motorcycle!!
These days I fly radio controlled model aircraft and standing out in a cold field means that one’s hands get cold and stiff, Not good for precise control of an expensive model!!
While actually flying with these gloves on would not be a good idea, they will allow me to keep my hands warm until I fly and warm my hands back up after my normal flight time of about 5 minutes. This means that I can now go flying more often in the winter.

These are a little bulky obviously by their nature so you’re not going to be typing any long messages on your phone whilst wearing them or threading a needle, but for using as work gloves/outdoor/manual gloves they’re fine with still good levels of movement and dexterity despite being very nicely padded. They;re so nice and cosy and warm too and will be a lifesaver when in the depths of proper cold winter especially during early starts when working outside etc. They’re reasonably riced compared to a couple of the very well known brands who produce heated gloves and also quite a well respected brand of heated gloves themselves now so overall I think good value considering the quality, comfort, ease of use and effectiveness in keeping your hands warm so would recommend.

Although the gloves are expensive they will be worth it if they do as is stated I suffer from vibration white finger and in cold weather even when wearing gloves my hands suffer badly from the cold. These gloves are of high quality and are comfortable to wear each glove as a battery compartment and the batteries are moved for charging.there are three heat setting for the gloves which can be changed even when the gloves are being worn.

    Good quality gloves

I’ve used gloves of this type a few years ago as my hands were so cold at that time I had to borrow a pair. back then it was a pad you heated and slipped in to a small pocket in each glove.
These gloves are a world apart. Much more sophisticated. The gloves have a rechargeable battery which you tuck into a small pocket and connect. Since the original gloves my hands have suffered from cold very easily now and I have to be careful. Once the battery is in you can adjust the heat setting starting with high and reducing as you feel comfortable. The lower the heat the longer it lasts.
You have a soft inner lining to a hard wearing one on outside. They say the gloves are waterproof and certainly in the time I’ve had them I can agree with that. I cannot emphasise how important good gloves are as a girl I knew didn’t bother with them and now has severe problems with both hands and will for the rest of her life. They can also be used for skiing and general use. They are fairly bulky so not for typing a letter.
With care they should last a good length of time as they seem to be well made.

These gloves are cozy and warm even before the heating technology is activated, they are thick and comfortable but you can still make a fist and grip in them quite well , so they are great for mountain biking and motorcycle use in the cold months.

Powered by two 2200mAh rechargeable batteries, the battery life isn’t great at only 3 hours on the highest setting but unless it’s ridiculously cold then the lower heating setting should be sufficient for most British winters , the gloves are well padded and warm anyway so they are toasty once the heat is turned on, you can choose from low medium or high heat settings , the gloves are very easy to operate.

They feel well made and fasten tightly at the wrist , they would be great for people with poor circulation in the winter for walking the dog, a brisk walk, people in Mobility scooters, motorcyclists, people who suffer from arthritis in their hands , they are a good quality versatile pair of gloves.

I do a lot of winter hiking and camping so I know I’m going to feel the benefits of these heated gloves when out on the hills , nothing worse than ice cold fingers when out hiking , I’ll be using them on their own and on low heat , i think that will be adequate heating as my hands get really sweaty on the higher heat settings.

They are expensive but if you suffer from really cold hands or ride your bike or motorcycle a lot in the winter, then these could be a good investment.

Where to start with these. Let’s address the price straight away. The price seems to vary, when I order them they were 169, as I wrote this they are 129, so maybe an item to watch and get when it’s at the lower end. Anyway you cut it, it’s a lot of money for a pair of gloves. I have many ski gloves that keep my hands dry and warm and were sub 50….just saying, food for thought….

However, these gloves are extreme high quality. Super, super cosy on the inside, soft and just damn delightful! Then you add in the fact that these puppies are heated!! Not that we get -20 or anything, but still, if you feel the cold, these will make any outdoor winter activity a pure delight for your hands. 3 settings operated by an external button on each glove, these provide actual full on heating! The gloves themselves are crazy warm anyway even if you don’t don’t them turned on. Waterproof means they can also be used for activities like skiing if you wanted (not sure how they would hold up to tumbles that come with more aggressive skiing/snowboarding).

Each glove has its own battery that tucks away nicely inside and you can even really feel it the gloves are that thick. You also get the appropriate charger with it so you can keep it ready to go. It’s not USB charging liek everything else though so make sure you don’t lose the one charger you get. Likewise, not sure how long the batteries last before they need replacing or where you’d get those from. Final point worth mentioning is, because they are so soft thick and warm, don’t expect to he able to be very dexterous when waring them. You may be able to open a bottle of water, or hold a ski pole, bit that’s pretty much it.

Summary, expensive, super comfortable, crazy warm, very decent set of gloves.

These heated gloves are like very thick ski gloves.

There is a space within each glove for the battery pack. The battery packs need to be removed for charging.

Once the battery packs have been charged and reattached, the gloves are very straightforward to use. There are three heating options depending on how quickly and how hot I want the gloves to get.

Personally, I can imagine that the medium or maybe even low setting should be fine for the English winter. But perhaps the high setting would be best for people who really feel the cold – or for more northerly climates.

The gloves are bulky. I have a big winter parka that has huge pockets that will fit these gloves. But don’t expect these gloves to slip unobtrusively into the pockets of a thin jacket.

Overall, I’m liking these gloves and looking forward to having warm fingers in the coldest months of the year. The gloves are not cheap. But I think they are great – at least for now. I just hope that the electronic parts and cables within these gloves can put up with me repeatedly putting them on, taking them off, and charging the batteries over and over again when winter comes.

    Bulky but very warm

These gloves were purchased for me to use when on the motorcycle, I think these gloves are wonderful. they are ideal, My hands get cold very quickly & I get pins & needles in my finger tips. These lovely gloves will definitely stop that from happening. Try keep my hands comfortable for around 6 hours at a time. I do intend to buy spare batteries as I am sometimes out for 8-10 hours. They are so warm. They are robust enough for bike use & I love being on my bike, the quality is spectacular, love the touch control on my index finger. Batteries are included in the gloves also! Highly recommended 10 out of 10 for these gloves great workmanship, fantastic quality.

Great for biking, quad out in the older weathe
