Maximum Intelligibility

In public facility applications, such as churches, meeting halls, and other predominantly spoken-word venues, the SU9920 dramatically increases vocal intelligibility, so the speaker’s message is clearly heard – all the way to the back of the room. Musical performance in these applications also benefit from SU9920 enhancement, exhibiting increased punch, definition and high-end presence – even at surprisingly low volume levels.

Versatility

In addition to being great for use with stereo signals, the SONIC ULTRAMIZER is ideal for individual instrument signals, such as guitar, keyboards or bass. Just connect the SU9920 into the signal path, or use your amp’s effects loop, for sound with more presence, fullness and punch. Since the SU9920 can be run in stereo or dual mono, you can even use one side for the bass, the other for a keyboard or guitar.

Sound Value

You’d be hard-pressed to find any other single piece of gear that can improve the sound of your recordings or live shows more than the SONIC ULTRAMIZER SU9920. And this mastering marvel is so very affordable, you’ll want 2 or 3 for your studio, and a couple more for your live rack. Get down to your Behringer dealer, or get your first SU9920 online today – you will be back for more!

I have only used this unit for “Bass Processing” and it works flawlessly. Makes my subs sound amazing without using a GEQ. Keep delivering Behringer!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt is a very good product and it works. It helps to bring back everything you lost when you compressed audio to mp3 format. Very good for recording. Amazing!

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersDoes the same thing as a BBE Sonic Maximizer but for a ridiculously low price. This box can make a drab recording sound better. I use this in my recording studio on guitars and synthesizer tracks to bring out the beef without a lot of extra EQ added in.

Back in 1986 I sold pallets of BBE sonic maximizers in my music store, I’m very familiar with the effect. This Behringer version is just as good for half the price, truly a bargain.

    Good music to all!

Not a bad little sound processor. Gives a sense of a fuller and more dynamic sound.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOne of the biggest issues I had was trying to see the tiny black dot on the chrome plated knobs! As far as sound quality I think it’s every bit as good as all the competitors!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThis sound maximizer works great! I also have a Sonic BBE that I use with my other system and this one is identical to the sound you get from the BBE. You can’t tell the difference. Sound created is crisp and has much more punch! Highly recommend this unit if you are on a budget!

I was a little skeptical about the ability of the Behringer SU9920 Stereo Sound Enhancement Processor but after hooking it up and tweaking the adjustments…this thing is great. Even after some rock solid EQ’ing this processor add some nice warm mastering levels to my live DJ set up!! I love it!
