I had looked and tested most of the usual cordless vacuums in the local outlets and thought that most were over priced. When I read the reviews for the beldray I thought for that price I will give it a go. Its exceeded all my expectations. Firstly it feels solid and well made. Secondly easy to use with two speeds. It sucks up every bit of dust and crumbs off the wooden floor and tiles downstairs and unless you walk upstairs in dirty workbooks where you would get ground in dirt it works perfectly well on carpet. Best of all no damn cord !!! This dies exactly what it says on the tin . No it is not an industrial vacuum it’s a lightweight domestic vacuum and its brilliant .

I bought this one to replace another Beldray – different model – which lasted about 2 years. This one is lower voltage but just as powerful. The only thing I don’t like is it is very noisy.

I’ve already got one of the same. So bought a second for upstairs. It’s very light and easy to move around. Does the stairs brilliantly. I have two dogs so find it handy to just grab the hoover when needed so no hairs around the house. Would definitely recommend this to anyone. I used to have a well known make which just used to fall to bits so replaced it with this. Definitely a win win solution.

Had this long enough now to write a fair review, and so far after months of use it works well. Suction isn’t that of a corded vaccum, but i wasnt expecting it to be! I have hard floors all through so i guess it doesnt have to work too hard to do its job. Tanks pretty small but big enough to get the job done, charge lasts well. Even on the stronger setting I can get round my maisonnette with easy, tank and filter are easy to empty and clean, attachments are easy to change. Comes apart and tank slots into the bottom section to allow for self standing storage which is great. I like to sweep the stairs, so this is just an added little cleaner to that process, it is pretty light and easy to manoeuvre.
I was nearly going to purchase a different module which was more expensive, but glad i went with this one
Brilliant little vacuum
I’m pretty weak and this vacuum has been a back saver. Its easy to push around and even has lights on the front so you can see under tables and such.

Beldray airgility cordless vacuum
I bought this elsewhere on impulse when I was out and about. I never imagined in a million years I would get a vacuum like this. I am so amazed.
Setting up
The instructions included need to be read first. The vacuum comes with ite own rechargeable battery. The battery needs to be fitted to the vacuum base unit for at least 5 hrs for charging.
One small negative is the switch for on/off and speeds is located on the handle underneath.I found it is so easy to accidentally knock it on.Its not a big deal.
Buying points for me
The firm Beldray has been established since 18oo’s. The vacuum is very light. Its cordless- a big bonus. Each charge lasts about 20 min+ or- depending on what speed you use.
Its been tested and recommended by ‘Good Housekeeping’, that’s what sold it for me.
When it’s charging a dark blue light pulsates away, stopping when its fully charges.
Has a three-year guarantee.
Impression
Very Lightweight, even using the hand held vacuum. The vacuum has two speeds what I call normal and turbo. Both are really effective. It’s lovely to use. The head of the vacuum rotates and has soft brushes which I was a bit doubtful about. However, it gets the dirt up and the unseen dirt on all surfaces. ie kitchen tiles, carpets.
It comes with one attachment a little tool for getting into crevices which can be converted by a flick of a switch into a more gentle tool for delicate items etc.
From a standing vacuum, it can very easily be converted to a handheld vacuum.
It’s quiet compared to my previous make of vacuum.
Very easy to empty and clean the filter.
Its amazing how much dirt/dust comes off the carpet.

Look, it’s not a Dyson or a shark. It’s not going to be super powerful but I don’t think it tries to sell itself as such.
My main hoover is a shark. It’s noticeably better. Especially on carpet and for pet hair.
But, I bought this for the upstairs to stop having to drag the shark up and down.
It’s used as a once over to keep things looking nice and tidy and means I can shark once a week instead of daily.
And for that purpose or does its job.
5 hour charge time is fine because it lasts long enough to get the job done over a few days before leaving it to charge over night.
It’s slim, lightweight and (having 3 dogs) is useful for just giving everything a once over.
Can’t really fault it for the price and has the benefit of doing a decent job in the car too!
Beldray Airgility vacuum problem solved with 3D print.
Bought a Beldray Airgility 22.2V cordless vac in the sales at Asda and very impressed with it in terms of lightness and convenience as our first cordless vac. It seems very good value and particularly useful for elderly people as its so light.
The only annoying thing was that there’s nowhere on the machine to store the brush/dust nozzle accessory unlike a Dyson where all the parts are always together. I resolved this by designing a clip to hold the tool for manufacture using 3D printing and these are now available on eBay.
Apart from that it seems a very good value machine – maybe not the most powerful suction on the planet but good enough for simple cleaning.
Efficient, great value and just a great little machine
This is a great little vacuum cleaner. Got is as a back up as I have the latest Dyson cordless but would definitely recommend it.
Belldray on the go
This is a great lightweight vacuum i am in a wheelchair and find it very easy to use. Only problem I have is the holder for the battery is not this robust and it keeps cutting out if you knock it, But it has great suction and does the job also when you empty it check the filter clear as well as that blocks very quickly but that’s a good thing and its very easy to clea
Good for a quick daily scoot around on vinyl flooring
I’ve had this for a few months now and love it. I have a dog and so vacuum everyday so get rid of all her fur. It’s lightweight and therefore easy to manager around my flat. The charge lasts for the 15/20 mins it takes to clean my flat and is always charged back up quickly. My floors are all vinyl (no rugs or carpets) and although it’s not the most powerful suction it picks up the fur fine. I’m not sure it would pick it all up on carpets.
Cheap cordless vac
Suction power isn’t great but I guess you get what you paid for.
There are some issues with dirt getting stuck at the hole where it gets in to the bin. There’s a small rubber valve that prevents dirt from getting out of the bin. The dirt often gets stuck at the valve and then requires manual cleaning, which can be a challenge due to the position where it sits at the bottom of the bin.
Excellent for a small house .
I love this cordless vacuum cleaner. I only have a small 2 bed house, so it is ideal and battery probably lasts 2-3 whole house vacuums . It picks up really well, we have a dog and I’m certainly noticing far fewer hairs than with our previous vacuum. It is really light and manouverable. Well worth the money.

Brilliant Brilliant Fab
Absolutely brilliant little hoover. Charges really quickly. Suction is excellent, not so good with the small tool, but husband uses on car and it does the job. Sits neatly in the corner when on charge. We had dysons in the past and this matches up and is a lot cheaper. Really light and cute to use. The filter fills up quickly proving how effective this unit is. Thank you. At last a little home helper that works without breaking my back or the bank.

Lightweight, handy vacuum cleaner! Good running time from one charge! Sufficient Suction to do the job! Worth the money, it’s not as powerful as a Dyson, but on hard floors and laminate it’s more than capable to clean up, it works well on carpets but the motorised head lacks the power of a Dyson, but that said it’s the quarter of the price of a Dyson and it’s more than proved it was worth it’s money, it’s really good I have to admit, but it’s not high end! Battery life is Better than a Dyson and charging times are quick, so I does have massive positives, if the brush bar was more powerful and suction just slightly higher it would be competing with a Dyson! But overall it’s never let me down, there is a 2 year guarantee, it ticks nearly all of the boxes that you want from a handheld vacuum cleaner and it’s reasonably priced so on the whole I would definitely recommend it as a good purchase and would definitely buy again! It might not be a Dyson / Vax / Gtech, but try it for yourself and decide I don’t think that you would be too disappointed! I’m happy with mine!
Amazing performance from a bargain priced machine
I’m glad I waited before buying a cordless vac. This is an amazing machine and can’t believe the dust, crumbs etc that it lifted from what I thought were clean carpets. Don’t even need to use the turbo. LOVE THIS AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Does the job
Lightweight and very manoeuvrable, the Airgility is ideal for quick and easy cleaning. I’ve been able to vacuum areas that have been ‘off limits’ to my upright cleaner (under the sofa and under my bed where the cat likes to sleep). I’ve used the cleaner on the stairs (powered brush head connected directly to the main unit) and also on my mattress (frightening how much dust ends up in the filter). Other more expensive battery powered vacuums might offer higher suction or more sophisticated air filtration, but the Beldray is just fine for my needs (I also bought another unit for my mum and she loves hers too). The only negative is that the pleated filter collects a lot of compacted fluff and dust but it’s simple to access and clean and it’s proof that the Airgility is doing its job!

Good vacuum cleaner for a quick tidy up, wife uses it for whizzing round after meals, she loves its versatility and easy operation.
I bought this when I found out that stick vacuums picked up more than dust and hair. I bought a Dyson some years ago when there was no choice. It had some slight nuisance features, for instance the handle and having to hold the trigger, not good for arthritic hands, very noisy, changing attachments required some gripping strength and attachments had to be used frequently as it could not Hoover up small pieces of detritus, dry leaves blown in etc. This much much cheaper vacuum has no nuisance features that I am aware of. Excellent vacuum. Picks up leaves, crumbs, anything small dropped. Excellent.

For what you pay it certainly gets the job done, suction is fine for general cleaning, but struggles with the bigger bits, combined with a robo vac it is a good backup for spill and small cleanups rather than bigger jobs, crevice tool is short. Car use is hard due to size and lack of extras

Love this, does carpets and woodflooring, very lightweight so easy for carrying, easy to charge up and does not take long, easy to empty, the only fault is you have to be careful hoovering shaggy rugs or carpets with alot of hairs on as they wrap round roller and suction stops until you untangle it, but for the price of it, i love it.

4 months into purchase vacuum stopped working dust/dirt had penetrated behind dust box and could not be extracted. Advised by another customer that I had a part missing under terms of warranty Amazon should have replaced it but deny responsibility & referred to Beldray who also deny responsibility. As a 78 year old pensioner who purchased the item to assist with cleaning post hip replacement I am disgusted with both Amazon and Beldray. Now approaching CAB for help.

I love my beldray vacuum! I worked with a Dyson very expensive model at work and think the beldray works just as well if not better than Dysons. Would definitely recommend the Beldray I’m just so glad I decided to give the cheaper option a go before forking out a small fortune on other more expensive models. Extremely good value for money

Absolutely love this hoover! I went from a Henry to this and the difference is amazing! This one is so light to use and smooth on both hard floor and carpet and picks up everything!! I got recommended this hoover by a friend and so glad I did! Have already recommended it to another friend as well. And the price is appealing too.
I have a 10 month old baby and 3 cats I can also sit on my hair so you can imagine the amount of hammer my vacuum has to deal with,
Not only does this little vac meet every challenge I have thrown at it so far but all those fiddly little places that spiders I like to hide in this works perfectly at cleaning them out.
The tool could be a bit stronger felt a bit flimsy at first but after using it, it’s held up to my busy life demands very well.
The suction could be a bit better but that’s probably because I am used to the power of a dyson coz this does pick up every thing granted I do tend to only use the turbo setting.
The brush is very easy to clean and picks up my hair which I just cut off and throw away.
As I say I use the turbo setting mostly and the battery last longer than I expected it to. I fully charge it every few days and use it on and off constantly throughout the day as I come across little cleaning jobs, its very handy to be able to just pick it up and take it any where I need to use it with no wires or plug sockets to worry about.

It did what it promised – it’s a very flexible hoover. It can clean the delicate and hard to reach areas at home. It has 2 suction levels that you can choose from and a lightweight vacuum cleaner. It felt like you are paying a premium hoover for this purchase.

Good everyday cleaning
This is a really good general purpose vacuum for everyday cleaning, it’s not as good as a suction as the dyson cordless (but it’s a 1/4 of the price) but it’s been fine for upstairs for us. Battery life good, easy to use and empty chamber. Overall impressed for the money!
Overall excelle
I bought this for vacuuming the lino floors in my camping pods. It picks up very well, can’t comment on what it would be like on carpet but on lino it is perfect. Lightweight and easy to use. Only annoying thing is where they have put the on/off switch, it is on the handle so every time you pick it up you switch it on by accident.

What a great piece of kit!
This is a superb, lightweight machine which cleans superbly. The detachable hand held unit is particularly useful for awkward areas and hoovering the car. Frankly there is nothing I can fault it on and I find the few critical reviews for this vac difficult to believe.

This is a very easy product to use and is perfect for cleaning up particularly on laminate or kitchen flooring. It lacks real power to deep clean on carpets but is also good here for running over surface dust. For the cost this is a very good product based on what we have used it for since purchase.

Well only had for a week but I’m impressed so far. It’s very easy to use, and so easy to empty the dirt out. The battery lasted me one week before recharge which is fab as I used it everyday with my cat getting hairs everywhere. It has two power settings I usually just use the lower one to save battery it’s powerful enough. Easy to store and great value for money in my opinion. Recommend.

The Beldray assembles easy enough, it is lightweight, but does an excellent job.
What a marvelous cleaner… I saw my sister’s and was green with envy, so bought one. It is great for stairs and those books and crannies. We have a dog, so it’s brilliant for a daily use on the dog hairs left. The thing I like most is that there are no cables to trip over and can be used as a small hand held item or as a stand up one. Afterwards just clip together and put into a small place out of the way. Would highly recommend for everyone.

Love this product it is so quick and easy to use. I also own a a shark lift away which was much more expensive and a brilliant vacuum but heavy and corded so I find I use the beldray regularly and the shark once a week because the shark suction is far superior. Having said that the beldray does the job and I love using it if the suction was stronger I’d get rid of my shark lift away and keep the beldray.
