Not bad for the money

Strap is suede. Not great for water.

This has been a real pleasent suprise. After seeing this watch I was immediately stuck on which design to choose. I eventually settled on the blue and rose gold.
I was shocked to see the quality of not just the watch but the packaging also, something that’s rare these days.
I’ve owned a fair few quality watches in my time, and you’d be forgiven for thinking it’s just another cheap watch – but oh no no.
Everything from the movement, the weight, the buttons and the strap feels of quality.
I look forward to purchasing a few more for my collection.

I got the blue version for about 35 after a belovd watch’s strap broke and I could not find a replacement quickly: I only intended this as an interim. Works right out of the box. Took a moment to realise the manual has a half dozen watch types in it and you need to follow the instructions for yours (pattern 9). Many reviewers have had issues with the date not working – mine has worked totally fine, as has setting the time, using (and off-setting) the chronograph works fine and so does the tachymetre: sure, the bezel does not rotate but then I don’t use a tachymetre, I just want to tell the time, so it makes no odds to me. I’m also capable for mental arithmetic so I’m sure it doesn’t save me time by having it. It doesn’t need winding and winds itself when you walk. Swinging it about will also wind it if it stops.
The only downside? For a watch nominally for men (I have no idea why there are differently gendered watches, just make lots of styles with straps that fit anyone…) the strap is so short I have it on the end hole and my wrists are NOT my any means big. The box is a bit not-needed and a waste of foam rubber and cardboard.

Bought this as a gift for my Father in law, he is delighted with it. He is a real watch aficionado so I wasn’t sure if it would be on the cheap side for him but I was pleasantly surprised with his reaction. He loves it as an everyday watch.
Benya chronometer watch
bought as a birthday present -my son wears it every day but the battery required replacing after 9 months.
However a replacement battery is cheap and easy to replace. After unscrewing the back it just unclips so no micro screws to undo or lose.

Firstly, I was very surprised that tha watch was delivered within 24 hrs. The watch is very smart, just as I hoped. As far as function is concerned it is early days but appears to be fine.

I bought this for my grandson. He is very happy with it. The BIG negative is that it was made in China. This needs to be made clear so that those of us that do not wish to support the economy of a country with an appalling human rights record do not buy it.

Nice looking watch but impossible to set the date and it doesn’t do the months at all just dates so it gives every month 31 days!!

Delivered exactly as displayed, impressed with the quality of the build and mechanics of this watch considering the price. Leather strap is slightly too firm but will comfortably fit most/large wrists. Colours are the best part, the watch seems durable and has a lovely shine to it. However, of course this watch is a value buy so I don’t expect much out of its lifetime.
