I initially bought the one power glide and used it for 6 mo, but had so many issues I had to return and bought the cordless crosswave. It is so much better that as far as design, engineering and function, so I’m staying with it. It was obvious on first use.

I work full time and have a toddler. I can only clean when the baby sleeps. I don’t have any energy left by then to vacuum AND mop. So I end up just vacuuming. This device is a game changer. Cuts my cleaning time by half and does a really good job. Wouldn’t be without i

Honestly, this is genius! I have a lot of floor to clean, hard floor in office, laundry room, kitchen, hall, downstairs loo, utility & carpet in living room and a fluffy rug in a tv area of kitchen & I long runner near rear doors. It used to take me forever to hoover first then mop in sections whilst I moved furniture / rugs.

I can literally go through the whole downstairs in less than 10 minutes! I can go from hard floor to carpet by just pressing a button.

I have added a pic of the tank. I had previously hoovered & mopped then this was delivered, shows how much a mop doesn’t get. Sorry it’s gross but proving the point of little water but so powerful.

It also doesn’t use much water, amazing!

    Tips:

Spend the extra for the cordless

Don’t overfill the detergent, there are clear lines on the tank so dead easy. I put a little too much in once & it’s a bit streaky but perfect if you stay within guide lines on the tank

Buy it! Amazing piece of ki

Item didn’t come with manual but managed to find online version and printed out for future reference. It is lightweight and easy to maneuver around corner and clean dirty spot with ease. However the afterclean process is not as easy as described in the manual. Maybe next time I should buy the max version for full automatic self-cleaning process.

I bought this to clean my cream tiled halls and kitchen floors. I love the fact that it’s rechargeable and I leave it plugged in, in the utility room so it’s always ready to use. It’s great for getting rid of crumbs and mopping up spills without having to sweep then mop. It doesn’t use too much water to clean the floors so they dry very quickly. I do find it a bit reluctant to shift more stubborn trodden in food and have to go over and over until it’s gone. It does need a thorough clean regularly or it starts to regurgitate bits as you try to clean. Overall however I’m pleased with it and find it very easy to ‘quick clean’ my floors daily and do a more thorough clean every couple of weeks – I wouldn’t be without it now.

Love the way it cleans but the battery barely lasts 25 minutes and my whole house is hard floors. As it takes 4 hours to recharge and wish I had bought something with 2 batteries now. It does an excellent job though and would be good if you just have maybe a kitchen and bathroom floors to do.

Cleans well and nice to have floor dry so fast. Collects a lot of bits even though I sweep first.
Much better than steam cleaner, that needs pads changing all the time, as roller kept clean.
Won’t do in corners and fiddly spaces so mop not obsolete yet. But use this most of the time now.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersReceived this machine today and I was anxious due to average reviews and the price being very expensive.
Have used straight away super excited having a busy house and two dogs that like getting muddy.
Although i have only used quickly to try it out before putting on charge i am pleasantly surprised and you can already see the difference in the picture. In fact I’m ashamed my floor was so dirty in the first place.
Ditch the mops this is the one to get.
I dont think the battery will last to do the rooms I need the cleaner for but I will just have to put on charge…. once the initial clean is done the regular cleans will be a breeze.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’ve found this clever piece of kit does a great job picking up dust, fluff and cat hair as well as washing my vinyl and laminate floors. Light weight, very easy to use and the 30 minutes battery life with indicator works for me. There is a plug in version if you need longer.

Bit of a knack to get the best results-don’t over wet the floor (just every second or third go and pull it back without wetting) and it dries quickly and evenly. Turn 90 degrees to get closer to the edge of skirting boards. Check the video for better instructions and you can use the self-cleaning function while it’s plugged in to recharge, but I find it’s easier just to rinse the roller under the tap.

Couple of small negatives- the main section doesn’t hinge low enough to go right under chairs or beds. Also, you have to take it apart to clean each time, but it’s very easy to do and a lot quicker than doing the floors twice. Overall, it does a great job and saves time and effort, so wouldn’t be without it.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersI never write reviews normally but I am making an exception for the Bissell Crosswave 3 in 1 as its fabulous. Ignore any reviews that indicate it is anything less than an absolute must if you have muddy paws on hard floors this is your go to. It really does hoover and mop in one go. The floors do take longer to dry but hey it gets up grit, mud and sand as I have the whole kit and caboodle in my home. It even work on small areas of carpet and rugs, if needed and door mats are easy peasy to keep clean with the Bissell. I have never ever raved about a cleaning appliance in my life but this has made my home truly clean and believe me I am fussy and hard to please when it comes to having a clean home!

Omg this is a game changer! My life has changed so much with this gadget. I was fed up of constantly cleaning food up off our kitchen floor and never could get it clean. I looked into this and the karcher f5 and went for this purely Cos it was cheaper.
It’s brilliant, suction is really powerful. Picks up heavy food objects. Mop is good, doesn’t pick up as much water as I would have liked to it do but I think that’s due to our slippery floor. Can see after each use how dirty the floor is. Love that when you finish with it you dock it and it charges up. Even when the battery is empty it charges up quickly.
I have watched a video of the karcher f5 as I still didn’t know if that would be better and so glad I bought this due to the suction of it. I have also cleaned my living room rug and I that worked brilliantly. It sucked up the water on the rug and left it slightly damp.
Do not hesitate buying this. It’s amazing. Made my life so much easier keeping my kitchen floor clean with 2 kids.

This is a very good hard surface cleaner. Its a good choice for tiles etc. Its not a good choice for anyone with a mostly carpeted house. Its aimed at cleaning sealed hard floors and rugs.

Looks wise, it looks like a standard cordless vacuum. It charges up in 4 hours and lasts for 30 mins before needing recharging.

The head is manourverable and the whole thing isnt excessivly heavy. It reduces cleaning time as there is no need to go over the floors two or three times (vacuum, wash, dry) and its cordless!

The thing i dont like is the ‘docking station’, its ok if you have the space but id much rather it was wall mounted. The base is quite a size if you are strapped for space.

The tanks are easy to empty and fill but dont forget to empty it after each use, dirty water gets really stinky after a while!!

Suitable for anyone with lots of hard floors, not suitable for anyone with mostly carpets. It wont replace a proper vacuum cleaner on carpet but its ok for the occasional rug.

I’m impressed with this Bissell CrossWave 3 in 1. It seems expensive but I’m pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to use and results in the kitchen. Here’s what I think about it:

Ease of use: On the hard sealed kitchen floor it easily glides with almost no resistance. I wouldn’t describe it as lightweight especially when half-full of water, it’s quite heavy. It’s very simple and intuitive; thankfully, because the instruction booklet consists only of pictures. There are two buttons labelled on top of the handle ‘area rug’ and ‘hard floor’, and a trigger switch under the handle to inject water into the sweeper containing the roller. There is one other button on the main unit which starts a self-cleaning cycle when it’s in the cradle. Over carpets a bit more effort is required but the rug setting helps with this.

Everything detaches and reattaches very smoothly. I had to connect the handle which was easy, and the clean water tank is very simple to remove and fill, requiring minimal effort to pull away from the body. Warm water is recommended up to 60 degrees and there is a cleaning formula provided that can be added. It has a separate dirty water tank which is also very easy to empty.

Results: Used on a light, cream-coloured hard kitchen floor it has made a very noticeable difference. Some dirt required several passes but I persevered to see if the Bissell would eventually clean it up and it did. I wasn’t aware the floor was so dirty and the hand-powered floor mop obviously wasn’t doing enough! After a couple of uses the roller is showing a bit of dirt, which shows that it’s doing a job. The roller can be cleaned while the Bissell is in the cradle with a cleaning cycle which involves adding a bit of formula to a cup attached to the base.

Power: It’s more powerful than I expected. The suction is very good indeed and it works as a straightforward vacuum on carpets though it only has the soft roller to act as a brush.

Noise: It’s not noisy but I wouldn’t describe it as quiet, being at the upper end of the cordless vacuums I’ve used. I haven’t found the noise tiring at all like some vacuums.

Battery: I’m pleased with the battery. It isn’t removable, though there are confusing pictures I think showing what to do prior to disposal. The CrossWave charges in its own cradle. I’ve been getting about 30 minutes from the battery which is the time claimed. It does take a lot longer to charge though, hours rather than minutes. The battery indicator is easy enough to see but it could’ve been a bit larger. The option of swapping the battery would’ve been welcome.

There isn’t much I don’t like about it although I do wish the handle was more comfortable and thicker. It feels a bit cheap and isn’t at the same level of quality as the rest of it. With the water loaded it’s heavier than I would like. Also it leaves the kitchen floor slightly wet and isn’t as good at drying as it is at cleaning and vacuuming (the 3 in 1). These are minor subjective niggles though and not enough for me to deduct a star. Five stars (4.5 rounded up) for the results in the kitchen and being able to use it without referring to written instructions!

Having owned a Bissell general carpet cleaner in the past and really liked it I was excited to try this slimmer,, more multi-use and cordless version. A big feature for me was the ability to vacuum on its own, which my previous Bissell didn’t do.

First off this is excellently designed and made, with a really solid quality feel all round, with the cleaning tray a highlight and not flimsy like I thought it could have been. Operationally it’s very simple — you just fill with water, put the cleaner in, choose your setting (material or hard floor) and you’re set to go. I’ve found that it takes quite a few passes to get things like coffee and juice spills dealt with (on hard floor and carpet), but it is a very effective cleaner. Staining will still happen on carpet with certain foods of course, but to have this ready to go a short notice (as long as it’s charged) is really good. The brush is a thick pile and the surface area means you get a much quicker clean because more is touching the carpet at one time, where my previous Bissell just had a bristle roller. I really like this version of cleaning brush.

Cleaning this Bissell depends on what you’ve hoovered up. Cereal or more solid/thick food like a sauce or yoghurt means it’s a bit more of a chore to clean and empty, but this is a necessary frustration and is expected. Between this and my previous model I’ve found this to wet the floors less, meaning less drying time which I like. The vacuum is surprisingly strong, and as with Bissell in general, you’ll be surprised (especially if you have a pet) at how much fur it gathers. Overall I really do like this, it works as it should and though takes more passes than it seems on the marketing the end result is a quick clean surface.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersOverall really good product.
Suction is great, and is comparable to a Dyson vacuum.

It takes up solids, liquids and all kinds of mushi stuff, just like in the commercial and even able to remove stains.

Cordless makes it a lot easier to use and dramatically reduces the set-up Hussle time.
The battery is good enough for 100m^2, easily.

Only con is that there is a 2cm gap from the edge of the machine, meaning that although it will vacuum right up until the edge of the floor, it won’t wash the last 2cm and therefore can’t 100% replace a mop.

This is truly a super machine. It cleans beautifully – almost any surface. Certainly all the surfaces in my house are catered for – carpets, tiles and wooden floors. It’s really easy to use and manoeuvre and it’s superb for cleaning and vacuuming. Simply superb.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersA floor cleaner that works as well on linoleum as on carpets and can be used wet or dry, as other reviews have said the info that comes with this leaves a lot to be desired, while a booklet that is pictorial only saves translating into multiple languages, more detailed instructions for the different uses and features would have been useful. I did find a guide online which was for a similar machine which wasn’t cordless, but this gave a bit more help. Also watching the little video on the Amazon page showing it being used is worth a watch. The dry vacuum function is good but possibly not as good as my regular vacuum cleaner, however the wash function worked well on my kitchen linoleum as well as making a real difference to the runner I have in there and being able to switch from carpet to hard floor at the touch of the easily accessible buttons was a great feature. The runner did take a while to dry fully but this may be because it is designed to be absorbent. I also tried the wash feature on a carpeted room and while there wasn’t a lot of liquid collected, it didn’t soak the carpet and this dried quickly, a small stain of unknown origin when gone over a few times was completely removed and the carpet looked fresher than vacuuming alone can make it. The brush wash feature is good as well but taking all the bits apart to empty and clean is labour intensive. It does need a proper clean out after you have used the wash feature as any dampness in amongst hoovered up fluff etc. can be smelly – a mistake I made after using it and thinking I would get back to finishing the job once I’d recharged it – life happened and next time I used it a few days later there was a disgusting smell, that was entirely my own fault though. I wouldn’t recommend using it to suck up spills as it shows in the video – quicker wiping up as normal than having to then clean out the machine, but for giving your carpets a more thorough clean than hoovering alone can do, then it is worth it for that.

I was dubious about this cleaner to be honest, but when I tried it I was won over straight away. The lithium ion battery comes partly charged, so it was possible to try it out straight away without waiting. There is no bag, but a simple to click in / click out dust container that is simple to empty. There is also a vessel to contain fresh water for when you are wet cleaning floors. This has two levels marked on it – one for small jobs and one for larger affairs, each having two markers, one for water and the other for cleaning fluid – so there is no need to measure out exact quantities, simply fill up to the levels shown.
When you are wet cleaning the process is very simple too and the dirty water is collected in the same vessel as the dust. So whether you are getting rid of dust, or dirty water the process is simple.

I had some marks on the carpet that were left by red wine and once over with this machine removed them completely. I imagine this would be an ideal machine for people with pets in the house because it will get rid of hair as well as anything that else that might be shall we say “smelly”.
In terms of charging, after the battery became flat, it seemed to be fully charged in about 2.5 hours and gave me around 40 minutes continuous use – which frankly is by far enough to vacuum a whole 3 bedroom house or wet clean most of one. Simply return to the charging point and stand it upright and charging begins. If you are keeping a house clean and need a machine to shampoo carpets then this is a great choice. If you don’t need the wet clean feature then there are other cheaper options that are as good, but this one has the advantage of being “all things to all men/women”.

The photos that I have attached show the vacuum in its charging point, the supplied pack of formula (which can be re-ordered from amazon, and the vessel that is loaded with cleaning formula and water – so you can see the different markings on it.
This is a remarkably good product and one that I heartily recommend!!!

    An extraordinary cleaner!

No streaks on hard floor and dried really quickly! Better than a mop!
Was super simple cleaning parts after wards!
Highly recommended and saves me loads time, cleaning fluid has beautiful smell also!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI was asked if I’d like to review the BISSELL Crosswave Cordless 3-in-1 Multi-Surface Floor Cleaner, Black/Silver/Bosanova Blue, 1 size, and I said yes.

First thing I noticed was the compact design of the crosswave and how light it was compared to my old clean which I had to get rid of due to it’s weight as I have two damaged shoulders and arms through an accident. This is a lot easy to handle and at least I can lift this one.

You’ll find it’s easy to unpack and very easy to put together. 🙂

Besides the main machine and the docking station, you also get a little holder, a small jug, a bottle of multi surface cleaning fluid and an instruction booklet.

This is a 3-In-1 multi-functional cordless cleaner, as it can vacuum, wash and dry all at the same time, which is definitely a first and cuts down on cleaning time.

The docking station is well made, has a nice length of wire and a decent plug attached. It’s easy enough for you to lift up and slot into the socket for it to charge up. When it’s charging you have three little lights that become static when fully charged.

It has a powerful 36V lithium-ion battery, which gives you 30 minutes of cleaning time.

You’ll find it uses a two tank system, so your clean water stays clean whilst the dirty water is placed into another tank.

The clean water tank is both easy to fill and empty. The dirty water tank is also easy to empty.

I decided to let it vacuum first, and then I washed and dried the kitchen and dining rooms floors. Must admit I was very surprised at how well it had cleaned up the tiled floor of the kitchen and the wood floor in the dining room. It also gave my rug in the living room a nice clean.

I know it’s expensive but it does clean well, and I’m really happy with the results it’s given me.

To me there is one huge down side and that’s the instructions. It’s just a picture booklet, that to me is an insult, (it’s like stating that you can’t read), I’d much have the written word, even more so with the price this machine is being sold at.

So due format of the instruction booklet I can only give this 4 stars, as I expected more from a machine that’s on sale for 329.99, (sorry, but that’s how I feel).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is good machine. It comes with 1 litre Bissells multi surface floor cleaner and a measuring jug. I found that the instructions were pictorial and very poor. We built it up quite easily and put it onto charge. We did find one piece we did not know what it is for but it sits on the charging unit and seems to serve no purpose. Said to take 4 hours to charge but may have had some charge in it as it was ready in under 3. My bathroom floor has a venial type tile flooring and knowing this was coming i had done minimal to it. I found it easy to use and it cleaned it really nicely. I have a large carpet in my kitchen and it did clean it well. I deliberately did not vacuum it and most of the debris was lifted. Oddly enough it did not pick up corn flakes. Both the carpet and the floor were left partly dry. I do have a very good Bissell shampooer which is excellent and leaves the floor as dry as this one. It does not act as a vacuum and is not cordless. I love this one because there is virtually no setting up, is cordless and is not much heavier than a vacuum cleaner. It can be kept at hand and not pulled out of store each time it is needed. I will keep my big shampooer for heavy cleaning and use then regularly particularly for the hard floors.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersWhen this Bissell floor cleaner arrived I admit I was super excited to try it. It was well packaged and very easy to assemble with the help of the picture style instructions. After I had attached the handle and put the clean water tank on the back, the floor cleaner needed charging. It comes with its own nifty charging and self cleaning base. I plugged in the charging base, popped on the side accessory as per the manual and put the floor cleaner on it to charge. On the front it lights up a battery area to show it’s charging. It took exactly four hours to fully charge.
When it had fully charged I put warm water in the water tank up to the easily read fill line, then added a little of the cleaning fluid that comes in the box. It was easy to do and put back on the floor cleaner. There are two easily read buttons on the top of the handle for hard floors or rugs. A quick switch on, wait tens seconds for the fluffy roller to turn in the base of the cleaner and I was soon whizzing around my kitchen breakfast room wood laminate floor, into the utility room on the Kardean flooring and still I had enough liquid in the tank to clean the hallway wood laminate flooring and three door mats. The floor cleaner is fairly loud but not too loud, it lights up at the base and swivels too getting into awkward corners. Crumbs were all picked up plus the cat hair (we have a black fluffy cat who sheds everywhere). When done, the floors dried in no time with the kitchen door open and they looked so clean. When I took the lower tank with the dirty water out to clean out I admit I was shocked by the dirt in there, though lots of it was soggy lumps of cat fur picked up too along with crumbs. The base is cleaned by popping it onto the charging base and adding a little water at the side from the triangular cup provided then pressing a button on the front of the floor cleaner for 15 seconds. I was amazed to see it clean up the fuffy roller inside at the front. It was easy to open that up and leave it to air dry in the accessory compartment next to the floor cleaner. I then rinsed out the dirty tank (again very dirty) and leave it to dry before popping it back on the front. I’ve added some photos, it’s a smart blue and silver machine, easy to use and well designed that does vacuum, wash and dry very well even on door mats. I’ve added photos to show you the dirt and cat hair it picked up, they are shocking to see, but proof at how well the Bissell Crosswave 3-In-1 Multi Surface Floor Cleaner does clean as well as it promises. I’m very impressed with it, it’s better than my carpet cleaner and expensive vacuum cleaner and best of all it’s cordless so easy clean up quickly.

Wow! The Bissell Crosswave Cordless 3-In-1 Mullti Surface Floor Cleaner Really Does What It Says.
