Great little tool.
Great product does what it says on the box. Lightweight and very versatile. Great for big jobs and small. Not experienced the battery life yet but after using for a couple of hours still has a healthy charge. Would prefer a spare battery but I guess that is reflected in the price.

1st time I’ve had a cordless drill and I’m very pleased with it. I’m a female pensioner and was concerned it would be too heavy to handle, but so far, so good! Battery lasts well and holds it’s charge. Don’t think the hammer action would be as good as an electric drill.

Great little drill. Shame about the case
Great little drill. Lost a star for the diabolically cheap case and charger though. Is it really that difficult to produce a case you don’t have to mess around for half an hour to get the drill back into? And a charger that doesn’t look as if it would snap if you picked it up the wrong way?

The drilling mode is fine, however for masonry make sure you plan for a several hour break whilst the battery recharges if you only have one. It can drill through a cavity wall on hammer mode, but it will drain the battery.
However, if you are going to be using hammer mode a lot, this isn’t for you – get a Makita!

Essential DIY tool.
Excellent around the house drill driver. Used to drill into masonary for the purpose of hanging oak shelving within an alcove. Ideal DIY essential at a good price.
Great drill
The battery on my old B&D cordless drill was failing so I thought I would replace it but discovered that it is chewaper to buy a new cordless drill. The is one is more powerful than my old drill and has more features. Recommended
Very good, just not as powerful
It has a great little motor. It doesn’t spin as fast as my other drill, which isn’t needed for everyone but it does the trick indeed. The battery life is a bit bad but its only a 1.5amp battery so can’t really complain there either.

The power, weight and battery life is excellent. The power tends to be better the less force you apply and let the drill bit do the work, I have found this bit of kit well worth the money and it is so handy without the lead interfering with the drilling operation, because the drill is more versatile in smaller spaces.

The ease of changing drill bits.
When I unpacked it I didn’t make note of the way it was carried in the carry case and it took me quite a while to get it back into the case. The fault was entirely mine since I was trying to get in with the case upside down.

drill driver + hammer as well charges quick I used mine on and off for two hours only started to slow near the very end light weight women could get on with this model easily
Does the job
Does the job it is supposed to. Battery charge seems to last well, though I am not a frequent user. Have only charged once. Only minor thing seems that it can be quite difficult to loosen the chuck after use

Amazingly powerful for such a small tool
Decided it was time to replace my 20 year old drill – and this little thing shows how technology has progressed leaps and bounds in that time. Battery lasted all day on a fence build project, lots of torque, nice and light.
Have a number of products in this range and can’t fault them. Very light but with enough power to tackle anything I have used this for.
Great DIY drill
My sister’s old drill conked out and she was desperate for another one, in order to do necessary DIY tasks and this drill took her fancy. She was surprised at how light it was to handle (compared to the heavier workhorse that conked out on her), that it was easy to determine when the battery pack was fully charged and it does the job even better than the last one. She’s delighted with it.

I’m a small woman and felt completely comfortable with this in my hands. I’m so happy with it that I bought other attachments particularly for sanding and paint removal. As I discovered drills are not only drills anymore. A new world opened up to me. 😉

iv had a black and decker drill years ago , so i stuck with what i know ,as i wanted something light weight and easy to use and this is probably it , probably not good enough for heavy duty jobs , but esayh round the house jobs should be ok

I’m not sure if it’s the voltage that makes it more powerful or not, so I hoped that the brand name might add some power! It’s fine, just not impressive. This is a brilliant little combi drill, really powerful and easy to use. We have a cordless strimmer which uses the same battery so it’s great having another charger and battery.

B+D 18v drill. WHAT A LITTLE BEAUTY!
This is a cracking little drill. Comes in its own carrier with single battery and charger. Easy to use – battery snaps on perfectly and charger easy to connect. Instructions give clear guidelines and useful tips. It does not come with any drill bits. I had bought some Bosch drill bits at a brilliant price. The universal keyless chuck takes these no problem!. A little unit it may be but powerful with wood/ metal/ masonry (hammer drill) giving it no problems. Highly recommend this product. Superb household item to own. Great price.
Great value for the occasional DIY
I got this cos the Mrs was on at me to do bits and pieces round the house. Including fitting secure anchor for our bikes into a brick wall. I’m not a professional or even really that handy so my opiniom might no mean much but this is a joy to use and does everything I needed to. Drill in to brick no problem, build a chest of drawers, sorted, put up shelves or a blinds mastered. Great drill.

Sometimes it’s difficult to release the chuck to replace the screwdriver head or drill bit as it appears to o ertighten as you use it….can be released using a pipe wrench if it’s stuck…

This is never going to be a professional’s drill at this price, but it is perfectly decent for averge DIY use, easy to use with straightforward battery charging and fitting, and a better and more sturdy box than many of its competitors. Nice feel in the hand too.

I got this for basic household diy, I’ve gone a bit diy mad since buying it. The battery life is second to none, I’ve only charged it once since having it and it’s had a lot of use. I don’t think it would be powerful enough for heavy use but as a basic drill it’s been brilliant.

Disappointed
Had the drill less then a year and haven’t ues it too many times and the drill isn’t working correctly. It was working fine a week ago then all of a sudden the front part were you put the drill bit in just stopped rotating.
Effortless to use and good performance
Recently moved into a new property and needed a cordless for DIY jobs, very happy with product, have used it for a fair few jobs and it has been effortless to use, very satisfied with its performance.

It’s not a dewalt or a hi end drill. But it does the job at home and at work. Put in my new kitchen with it. Use it at work heavy duty. Just look after it like anything else and it will last.
Good enough
I bought this having reached early middle-age without ever owning a drill. I need it for light DIY – putting up shelves, putting screws in stuff, and so on. This works for that. It’s easy to use, but the battery clip is very poorly designed and made. Overall, it does the job.
Great tool unusable kitbox
The tool itself is great, esp for the price – powerful enough for any kind of drilling, as well as handy for other purposes. Only gave it 4**** because the kitbox is not useful – it only fits the thing fully dasassembled, i.e. in transportation mode, and not suitable to store it at home when you need the tool pretty often.

When I used this drill on a solid wall (using the hammer setting and the correct stone/brick drill bits) it went through fine for the first few inches and then stopped, presumably a more solid stone was behind the first layer. I borrowed my brother’s corded hammer drill and it completed the job perfectly fine.
Long story short is the ‘hammer’ drill setting seems to only be so powerful and may only go through brick and not a more sturdy material such as breezeblock or concrete.
My personal recommendation is buy this drill for generic cordless drilling and get a more powerful corded one for the heavy duty drilling.

All the torque I need, but very confusing item to buy
Really pleased with this thing, the torque is mind-blowing. Only came with 1 battery and I shopped around a bit afterwards and found ones with 2 batteries for same / less. Not complaining though.
It is very confusing to try and buy the right one for the best value. There are so many listings of this drill and so many models, I could be buying a new model or a less good older one, or a better older one, it’s very confusing.
A Bargai
I had been looking for a Bosch or DeWalt 18V drill, but the price of this one decided me, and I’m very impressed with its build quality and performance. The two battery offer is good too, but I’m not a heavy user and don’t need that – bought the 9 drill set instead.

Handy when working up ladders and in awkward spots or where there are no powerpoints. I have a 35 year-old wolf mains drill that has seen off many others and will batter it’s way through anything, but power leads really are a thing of the past. If this drill proves resilient maybe the wolf can retire.

I bought this to replace my old cordless drill as the battery no longer held a charge. So far this drill has lived up to expectations – battery life is good and the battery retains charge well when not used (my old drill lost charge when stored – so would often be dead when you wanted to use it). Drilling power is fine for everything I’ve asked it to do so far – mainly into wood and plasterboard but I wouldn’t expect it to drill large holes into masonry (I’ll use my corded hammer drill for that). All in all very happy with this – if you accept the limitations (it’s not going to manage heavy duty work) then it’s a great bit of kit for the price.

Pleasantly surprised at how good this drill is. Good for both screwing and drilling even into masonry. Uses same battery as other B&D tools so adds to the battery numbers you hold and charge. Very light – so much easier to use when compared to my 10 year old cordless drill.

A nice drill feeling well balanced in your hand for accurate positioning. Battery charged fast and on first use lasted better than expected. The hammer drill is good for a battery drill of this price drilled no6 masonry drill into brick no problem so great for DIY in the home. I was surprised how good it was. Would recommend as a great little diy tool.

This is a brilliant addition to my tool kit. Being a ‘woman do it yourselfer’ I struggle to hold any power tools as my hands aren’t big enough for most of them, this one is perfect!

This is a sturdy and reliable cordless drill. It feels well made and not flimsy like some Of the cheaper drills I’ve purchased in the past.
I bought this after reading a few Amazon reviews as I needed something that was powerful enough to be able to drill into a brick wall and I haven’t been disappointed. I used decent drill bits, which I am sure helped a bit, and the drill did its job with relative ease. In all this is a good all round drill and excellent value for the price, with the benefit of a well know brand as the manufacturer!
