works very well for the great price I paid. I find the top grip a bit narrow for my large hands, and as such the vibration can get to loosening my grip now and again. Plenty of other cheaper brands available for the custom sized sanding sheets. Nice tough little mouse!

After trying to sand down the poly filled holes by hand in my wall and getting no where bought this cheap sander and did the job in no time .only prob my hoover attachment didn’t fit so had to tape it on but worked fine .

This was brilliant and saved so much time! Easily gets into corners, light and easy to use. Still makes a lots of dust so would recommend using the attachment (supplied) to the vacuum cleaner! Came with 5 sand papers, lasted well. Great product. Would recommend!
Great value
Super value. Not very powerful but for the price paid this is amazing quality and perfect for sanding filled MDF joints. At this price longevity isn’t really an issue but it is very well made and has a quality feel so should last. Not much power but for a mouse sander that isn’t a problem. Not too loud either which is a bonus. Recommended.

Only mouse sander I’ve ever had so nothing to compare it to really. Bought to sand doors, stair case, skirting board etc. in preparation for painting. The unit it easy to hold, doesn’t vibrate too much and the paper seems to last a reasonable amount of time before having to change it. A finger attachment is also available separately for getting into tighter spaces. Overall very pleased with the purchase.
Love the mouse sande
I love the mouse sander. They are sturdy and easy to use. I like to upcycle furniture and this is great for awkward corners and inside cupboards. Perfect for smaller sanding jobs.
I managed to get this on a prime day lightning deal, ended up paying about 13 for it with free, next day delivery – brilliant.
As many other reviewers have said, there is NO finger attachment. A nuisance, but at the reduced price, I wasn’t concerned.
Amazon need to change the product description of this though as it does state there is a finger attachment (or it did at the time of my purchase), it’s also shown in the manual as being part of the box contents – so sort this out Amazon!
There would be far fewer disappointed buyers with a little more clarity.
I’ve used it now a few times and it’s done a great job in sanding some of my solid wood furniture and tables.
Due to it’s small size, it will take longer to complete a larger project than for example a belt sander, sheet sander or other larger device. But it did a good job and I needed something I could easily control and would be gentle on some of my pieces.
Fitted comfortably in my hand and without the vibration (there is some) and fatigue I have experienced with my large sander.
The hoover attachment is pretty useless for me, my vacuum hose was too big, so no idea what kind of vacuum it’s designed to fit.
I found it just as easy to sand and use my little hand held vacuum to suck up the dust as I went, so there was little mess.
At the price I paid, I am a happy customer.

Brilliant tool!
Straight out of the box it feels good quality, came with 3 different grades of sand paper.. Two of each p80, p120, p180. You should order more as I used most to sand my wooden doors but it makes short work. Highly recommended and excellent value for money.

First class product and really good value for money. I sanded the whole of the inside of a 15ft x 12 ft building not a problem. Small enough to get the tricky bits but robust enough to do the scope.
Overall this is a good little detail sander, my only criticism is the baseplate of Velcro tends to wear down very quickly at the front (pointed part) I which this was either replaceable or simple just more heavy duty. On the plus, the price is good, the motor seems strong and it comes with the dust port pipe included. As usual quick free postage from Amazon.

A standard mouse sander, comes with pads etc. Other than very specialist work it will work for many units and general sanding while patching drywall etc to a very good finish.
Cheap and easy, and works fine for most people’s uses.
Perfect for newbies
I’ve never used an electric sander in my life. But after putting too much putty on the wall, this little gadget seemed like the best option. I only had 2 small over-filled holes that required sanding. This sander delivered amazing results. It was very intuitive and easy to use. I highly recommend this if you are a complete novice, like me. 🙂

Got this after our old one died a death (it had been well and truly used and abused over the years!) these are great for sanding furniture and difficult to reach areas. What else can I say, it’s a Black & Decker, it’s good quality and does the job with no fuss.

Best £20 I've spent this week
Absolutely love this little sander. I was put off by the reviews saying it was no good for little hands, but mine are small and no problems so far.
More of an all rounder than it looks. Really pleased.
I love this sander. It’s light, easy to hold and is surprisingly powerful. Just make sure you get the sanding pads with the ventilation holes in the right place otherwise it overheats. I’ve used mine to sand everything from fiddly windows to walls and tables and it’s going strong! Would definitely recommend.

The size of this sander makes it very easy to hold and use for those of us who have limited movement in our arms. It manoeuvres easily making it ideal for lots of small tasks.

Great for the money as an addition to the rest of the sanding kit. Good for the smaller restricted areas. Wouldn’t suggest will stand up to prolonged use all day everyday though. That said they do mention usage in the destructions

I recently needed to convert a room to a home office (owing to working from home!). I am not very skilled at DIY and the task of removing a wall unit and then filling holes, sanding them and painting over seemed like a daunting task to say the least. I managed to do all of this which I am immensely pleased with! This sander really came to the rescue and helped so much. I was initially thinking of using sandpaper (which would have been a terrible idea and taken ages!). This sander attached to my vacuum and made the job much easier. There was still a lot of wall dust (despite my vacuum sucking up most of it), but I think that was inevitable. Overall very happy and glad I purchased this.

So easy to use and replacement sanding sheets are very cheap. Very good value item. Always attach a vacuum cleaner to prevent dust and mess. No idea why the first sander stopped working, but the second works fine.

Hard to hold for long. But gets right in corners
Very good, works well, only thing is if you have smaller hands this can be hard to hold on too, wish it was a handle hold.
It’s cheap and handled sanding down chalk paint. I’m not a dIY enthusiast but, managed to sand down filler on the walls and ceiling. Unfortunately the small attachment doesn’t fit my Henry vacuum. Come with 6 velcro sanding sheets and easy to attach on the bottom of the sander.

Great affordable sande
This is a great little sander. I needed something pointy to get those areas my random orbital sander can’t reach and this works a treat. Dust extraction works surprisingly well too when hooked up to a vacuum. Good value too, cheaper than they have them in B&M
Great value little sande
Bought to replace an old one that had burnt out after many years of use. Great value for money compared to the competition. A good addition to my tools. I mostly use my orbital sander but at 20, this is perfect for light work.

Good detail sande
After borrowing an older model from a friend I decided to buy my own as I found it so useful. This newer model B+B sander seems significantly quieter. I am really pleased with it. The power switch is difficult to operate – a bit fiddly; but that is my only criticism. The palm sander is comfortable to hold and easy to manoeuvre for detail work. It holds the replacement sanding pads vice like. Good price and great tool.
Good product lasted only 10 months
This is a very good product and suits my needs admirably until last week when it blew up, sparks and stopped. I am not a professional just an OAP with a shed. For the price it is very good and I will be buying another because I have a big stock of discs.

Great little machine but the pads that come with not very good unless you want to take hours sanding so have ordered some more with rough grit. Also but the the hoover attachment is ok but not very strong I used my shark and can hardly feel any suction through the tool itself so I just didn’t attach it as didn’t make much difference apart from stopping ever so often to hoover it up so in all a very good machine
Good product worth buying, I like how it came with the hoover attachment which reduces the dust by about 85% as it is getting sucked straight up by the hoover. Came with everything it says on the box – 6 pads and the attachment.

Excellent value for money and a very efficient service.You can connect the hoover onto the sander this collects all of the dust also very good for detailed sanding for very small indentations on a wall and for around light switches / sockets and it also goes right into tight corners very good thank you.

Fantastic hand size helper for sanding
Needed a helping hand to get the 6 layers of paint off my bannisters….this was perfect for ease, manoeuvrability….I have arthritis in my hands and this is the perfect size and weight for me

Great small detail sander for the price. Could be slightly easier to ‘grip’ but otherwise fine. If you want to get into the smallest curves and details, you will likely need to purchase the attachment.

Black and Decker have an undeserved reputation in the trade for poor quality, a hangover from the days half a century ago when they sold dozens of accessories for their drills and people ended up burning out the motors. This detail sander is a fine piece of kit in constant use in my busy workshop, where I have just bought a replacement for one that has turned noisy after at least five years of use putting a nice finish to awkward corners on thousands of items. And still working! But at least I know when it finally gives up the ghost I have a replacement, the days of repairing 20 machines being long gone.

Bought as a gift I know the recipient is delighted. Works really well on jobs big and small. Easy to exchange sheets for different jobs. The vacuum cleaner attachment is fantastic, have sanded some big jobs without making a whole lot of dusty mess.
One of the cheaper ‘mouse’ sanders available, it is comfortable to work with and does a fair job. The sanding papers supplied do not last very long, but with better quality papers bought fro after-market sources, the performance is good.

arrived via amazon hub preferred in quick delivery. was browsing and come across this sander to cover small diy general purpose tasks like smoothing wood panels as its ideal for wood removing,paint and rust. Very lightweight free ensuring without straining effortly sanding,comoact design gripping easily,ultimate versatility for handling intricate complec uneven places. Provides finishing touches to diy benefits. At first wasnt suspectinv much but taken back by this mini sander.also has additional sheets included.
This works fine and it’s really easy to put sandpaper on, but as the vibration from it makes your hand ache after a while I ended up doing half this/half manual sanding.
Really great little sander for the price .. all be it my old black and decker of the same type was old 6/7 years this did a better job was teally pleased just needed some extra help sanding garden furniture and this really did do the job well . Lent to friend she also was very impressed

Great little sander, perfect for door frames, smaller areas, easy to use and works a dream on my skirting boards. Saves time and effort too. Great that you can change to diamond tip for more wear on the sanding pad. This is the second one I have bought, this one was for my mum and she is now sanding everything in sight!
he same as another reviewer – i had a B&D mouse, and it gave up, so bought this one. The instructions say that the additional ‘finger’ for fine or intricate work is shown on the diagram, plus it shows you how to add it on. But the part is not included with this purchase. Very misleading, so will contact Amazon and the supplier.

Needed a little sander to work on a door. This worked perfectly. Great little product and very easy to use. Its obviously meant for smaller jobs so if you need a small sander for doing a few odd jobs then this is the product for you. It was slighly dearer than some of the bigger homeware stores but they were all out of stock. Considering it comes delivered to your door at no delivery charge (if you are a prime member) then worth paying a few pounds more.

Great little sander – bought this to sand my small bathroom ceiling, as all the paint had cracked with moisture over time. It was too big a job to be done by hand. This little handheld did a great job and is excellent value for money. It comes with a number of different papers depending how coarse you need it, and these are easily attached/removed from the sander like Velcro. Would recommend for smaller or flat surface jobs like ceilings/walls/doors, but perfect to have for general DIY, I am very pleased!
I love this little sander, as we are in lockdown I had plenty of time on my hands , have sanded down wooden garden furniture all ready to paint. Easy to use and light. It made a really good job.
For the price this is very good value and a decent sander regardless. Complete with 6 velcro sanding sheets at 20, not too shabby. I got this to prep the timber painted fascia and soffits, its light weight makes it ideal for overhead work, but the extract attachment is just too fiddly when working overhead, otherwise its a very good sander in its own right. Recommended.
