Good but not grea
Easy to use and charge and compact but not as powerful as I expected.
Absolutely Grea
Great handheld hoover. Suction is powerful for my carpet + laminate flooring. I have 2 kids under 5yrs old and meal times can get a bit messy. This is perfect for a quick clean up without having to take the main corded hoover out. As it’s easy to use and lightweight even my 4 yr old loves to clean with this hoover whenever he sees a mess. I use this hoover for the stairs too and it makes my carpet nice and fluffy. Would recommend.
Brilliant little vacuum, well worth the money
Read all the reviews, this one was around 30 more expensive than other makes but had the suction power I was looking for.
Brilliant bit of kit and means I can vacuum the dining table easily and also the cold ash around the fireplace.
Definitely recommend, makes cleaning actually enjoyable.
Its nice and lightweight and the brush attachment which slides up or down means no scratches on hard surfaces.
Have also used to vacuum bits on the carpet and works absolutely fine.
Cuts out after 15 mins of solid use though but that’s fine, you’ll be done in 5!

I’ve been so impressed with this, that both my son and daughter have them for their cars. The best lightweight handheld that I have owned.
I previously had a Dyson and whilst the suction may have been better, the battery life was poor and the price exorbitant!

Great for kitchen draws and stairs
Great for the stairs. Add the brush attachment and it’s fantastic for cleaning cutlery draw without taking out cutlery. Also great for vacuuming between banisters on the stairs.
A bit noisy. The noise seems stronger than the suction. Haven’t tried it in the car yet but narrow adaptor should get into those narrow gaps easy enough.

We got it to clean our caravan. Pretty good to be fair. But if you want 240v suction you eont get it.

Have had several handheld vacuums in the past – this is definitely the best. Charges well and has good suction. Love the hose for reaching up high and getting into nooks and crannies. Easy to empty.

I love this vacuum. It works really well and allows me to quickly vacuum up my work area. The filter does clog with dust after some use, and it affects the suction power. However, it can easily be removed and cleaned up, and can be made to last, instead of replacing it. I really like the little base station, just sit the vacuum on and it charges. Always ready to go when needed. Emptying it is nice and quick.

Very Convenient Vacuum
I had been looking for a while for a vacuum mainly for cleaning my car. I really liked the idea of a battery powered vacuum mainly for the convenience of not having to open the garage to get the mains powered vacuum out.
However, I was concerned the suction would not be good enough from a battery powered vacuum.
I purchased this vacuum and I have to say I am very impressed with it. The suction is surprisingly good for a battery powered machine. It is very convenient and does a good job of cleaning my car.

Looking for a handheld after the last “highly rated on Amazon” item was a pile of poo. This is really good, really sucky! Quite loud and not the lightest of items, but first trial I was very happy. Even deals with some fur.

This vacuum has major suction, and really gets up all the bits and pieces . The flexibility from its hose gives a great addition to its range. Great value for money, simple and strong.
Get this hoover!
Love this little hoover! It has good suction! I’ve used it on the stairs and in the car. Not as good as getting your car valeted obviously so don’t expect it to get every little thing up. But I would recommend getting this! I had a little Vax one before and it’s loads better than that one. Also, it cuts out when it needs charging which is great, my other one just sounded tired and the suction got really weak but didn’t cut out!! This one, you know when it’s done

Not bad at all
Just the ticket for light cleaning of car interior. Nice soft brush attachment for dashboard and seats. Beats going to Asda and putting a quid in everytime.
This is the third mini vacuum that I have had and by far the best yet. Its suction power is almost the same as the Dyson that I had before but its battery lasts about 3 times longer. I got 19 minutes of vacuuming which was enough to do the skirting board tops, book shelves, desks and ceiling cobwebs in the 2 bedrooms and also the floor and seats in my car. The removable handle and suction hose is the feature that makes this vacuum really stand out from the others that I have had. Makes reaching under seats, up to high up spots and down behind things much easier than with any other mini vacuum where the entire vacuum has to be poked into every space. This one can also be used one handed for the skirtings and other places where you don’t need to use the hose. Not too heavy and holds enough dirt that you don’t have to empty it mid cleaning session.

Excellent performance. Used for picking up from floor + higher level cobwebs/ dust etc. Easy to use and fairly lightweight. Charge seems to last fairly well and easily/quickly recharges on its stand.

Really like this handheld vacuum, light weight, good suction, quick charge. Our old Black + Decker charging power has issue and we have used it for years, found this model and has good reviews. Only drawback is the filter build up thick dust very soon, I need to clean the filter every other day. But overall, I give a 5 stars, very pleased.
Fantastic - 1700 wa
Best hand held I have ever bought! It comes with two fitments which are ideal for stairs and getting into those awkward places. Rather pricey but worth the money.
This is not a bad little vacuum. I bought it to keep in the garage as a car vac. Whilst it is not as powerful as the old Dyson it replaced , it still does a reasonable job. For a serious clean out though it doesn’t compare against a mains fed vacuum.

Having tried a variety of hand held vacuum cleaners this is easily the best. The extending hose is light and manoeuvrable whilst the light weight body can be held in the other hand. This means that it is not tiering to use. I now have three placed in my home and RV would be without one!

V Easy and light to hold and use. Especially strong suction due to massive 18v power. Easy to charge in little tray. Empties easily by opening door. I have given one to my mum (I was that impressed) and she does the edges and stairs with it and is equally happy with it. When u want to fully clean it you can easily lift bits out wash and dry and put bag together…quite simple.

I have it now for over a year and it Works really well, much better than any other handheld vacuum cleaner I had before. Suction is really great, though depending on what you are cleaning, the filter can clog up Fairly quickly. It’s easy to clean the filter and empty the dust compartment, so no real problem. I really like it and found that I use it much more than the others before. The extendable hose is useful, especially on stairs and with cobwebs on the ceiling. I would definitely recommend it!

Fantastic little hoover! Bought it to clean the car and the stairs. I am very impressed at its performance. I wouldn’t buy any less than the 18V version as its suction will be poor.
Pros – Very small and lightweight, impressive suction for its size, looks modern and great, i like the charging dock too. Ideal for hoovering the car and stairs at home. Also great for cobwebs on the ceiling as well as quick little once overs of a room.
Cons – Takes approx 4 hours to charge from completely flat, has a run time of approximately 20 minutes, could have more accessories.
This more powerful version is the one to buy

I bought this as I have a Gtech vacuum but the hand held has to be purchased separately and this was much better value. It is ideal for edges and high up areas and also plan to use it for the car. Has a good suction and easy to use and empty.

I wish that I’d purchased this cordless vacuum a long time ago.
In the past I’ve bought two other ‘equivalent’ and slightly cheaper hand-held vacuums (for car and home) and this one is by far the best product I’ve encountered so far.
The power is good, the suction is powerful and it works just as promised. This product does precisely what it says on the box.

Really like this product – very easy to use and carry. Ideal for my stairs and the downstairs loo – can’t get full sized hoover in the loo – and for a quick blast anywhere else in the house.

Powerful for its size
Was really unsure which handheld vacuum to purchase as so many had contradicting reviews, but finally went for this one and I am quite impressed. It is lightweight, with quite a powerful suction. As long as you are realistic and do not expect it to be as powerful as a full-sized vacuum, it is ideal for its purpose. Don’t let your puppy chew the charging base wire behind your back though – a replacement base is about 40! 🙂

Very strong suctio
Really good suction,easy to use and the short flexible hose comes in very handy to reach difficult areas. It’s OK on stairs but a roller attachment would make it even better. It’s quite easy to empty and clean also.

After spending what felt like forever reading up about the best handheld hovers I bought this hoover over 2 months ago and love it. It’s fantastic for hoovering the car and picking up little bits around the house. The small nozzle along with the hose makes it really easy to reach stubborn places. Suction is great and battery lasts me a good 40 minutes, I generally charge it once a week but don’t tend to use it every day.
In Brief
As this vacuum saves me 5 minutes unpacking and packing 10 meters of extension lead and lugging heavy house vac it get 5 stars easy. Easy to use within a car, lighter than a house vacuum and gets to spots other vacuums just don’t.
In detail
The vacuum isn’t that strong, and get significantly weaker if the filter is clogged up even with fairly light use, but the cars seem to accumulate fine dust. I find I wash the filter every 3rd or 4th time I use it and I use a brush the other times. The attachment allow for cleaning the carpets and getting to some hard to reach places e.g. front foot wells. The hose help manipulate the vacuum head while cleaning and really where this tool is the best for car use. While B&D do a car version of this vac you have to plug it into the cigarette lighter, which didn’t appeal to me, plus I don’t have a boot power socket.
I only use the vacuum for carpets and upholstery, rubber mats. I never use it on exposed plastic or paint, a wet cloth would be better. I have never needed to discharge the battery cleaning a car. I used it to clean two cars back to back, but to be fair the cars only need a quick once over. I use the vacuum very occasionally around the house for light use, where dragging a large hover out is over kill.
The vacuum isn’t that powerful. I pick up heavy items or take the mats out first and just pat them down. The price yo yos from 60 to 100 gbp, I paid 75 from Amazon warehouse and I felt it was a little overpriced, I see it is currently 99 which is OTT.
I expect the next generation of this vac to have the following:
Better suction, the attachments needs to get into hard to reach place like in between front seat and hand brake. A better designed filter. Fractionally lighter. An attachment that can get fine needle leaves out of the carpet. The curved plastic handle on the hose makes it a little difficult to get angle in some places, but is perfect 90% of time. It needs to be fair price and a slightly better quality.
Powerful and reliable
This is a great little vacuum cleaner. It sits on it’s charger in my cupboard (a blue light tells you when it’s charging) but it’s always ready to go. It has two attachments which is all you need. You can use it one handed as it is or, for tricky to reach places, unclip the hose to increase your reach. Its really powerful and, after a year, is working as it did new.
I love this little vacuum. So easy to use. Great for the car too. Empties really quickly and gets into those tricky corners. Works at full power until the battery life is exhausted so no gradual loss of suction. Charges in four hours, but that’s no hassle.
This is a pretty good small handheld. We previously had a Dyson DC34. The Dyson was falling apart after a few years ownership, the cost of replacement parts (including a new battery) would have been more than this product.
It is a lot louder, not quite as powerful but I don’t think there’s much in it in the power stakes.
We like:
The flexi hose, brilliant for getting under car seats etc.
The compact size, it’s also quite light.
We Don’t like:
The noise. It is a lot louder than the Dyson.
Too early to tell battery life but so far so good. As a much cheaper alternative to the Dyson products, I’d certainly recommend the B&D. Pound for pound I think this is better value.
Easy and effective to use
My new favourite gadget for the home. Brilliant for the car and stairs and bits of dog biscuits etc.
Good suction even long hair is sucked up. Easy to store and charge up. Discreetly sits tucked away. Very easy to use and empty contents.

Does what it is supposed to do
I use it daily for cleaning up wood ash from around my stove. Works well and once I fathomed out how to take it apart it is easy to clean and wash the filte
I have had several handheld chargeable vacuums but they were all noise and no suction. I decided to spend a little more and get a renowned brand and it paid off. This vacuum is LOUD but it works. If you use it for getting crumbs, dust-balls, hairs and other small bits, it works perfectly fine. The suction is strong enough to pull stuff an inch away into the vacuum. Emptying the container is super easy. You do need to use two hands for this vacuum but have not found that to be an inconvenience. The design is uber cool. All in all its a good vacuum that does a job. Just don’t use it to vacuum an entire floor or house, that’s not its purpose.
Full of energy and suction.
This is a cracking little hoover. Ideal for the car or the house for small jobs, in particular were access is limited. My daughter bought the product first and I followed suit as she had spoken so highly of its efficiency. Excellent product and one that I would highly recommend as it does everything that I would use it for.

Great little vacuum
I’ve had an original Dustbuster for years but needed something a bit more powerful to clean up wood pellet cat litter and other bits and pieces on the floor and have found this vacuum it to be excellent, although it struggles to pick up cat hair. It is quite noisy but doesn’t seem to freak out the cats!!! The wrap around hose is very useful and I now find myself ‘hoovering’ all sorts of surfaces and it’s great for the car. It’s small, neat and very handy and so far I’m very impressed.
For the discounted price I paid at the time, this turned out to be a fantastic purchase. For my small bedroom and hard to reach places, it does fantatic work. The one thing I must say, is that with any vacuum cleaner, the key to it working properly is in the name. You gotta keet IT clean. This vacuum is very well designed for disassembly to clean out all the filters. If you do this weekly, or even monthly, It’s power stays optimum. As a product designer myself, I really appreciate the effort to design this disassembly process for everyone. The space provided where the flex tube connects to the chamber can cause blockages, if there were some internal structure to catch larger particulates, that would help out. Power can always be better with all vacuum cleaners, but if emptied regularly, it usually is fine. Battery can die suddenly, a warning indicatior or battery pwoer indicator would be nice. I would buy another of the same design if they produced a larger capacity/ stronger motor.
Pet version is great for picking up pet hair!
Great for picking up pet hair. Battery life is good enough to do a couple of sofas and a bed. Shame the pet version is only available in 14.4v not 18v.
I went with this one after reading reviews on handhelds for a long time. I know that when coming to a handheld, battery life vs power is the key. You want a strong handheld, and this definitely delivers. It’s flexible hose makes it really easy to use, and charging it is very simple, just place it in the charging dock very simply and away it charges. Battery is about 15-20 minutes total use. For things like the car, quick spills, the stairs, its excellent. The range of nozzles makes it even easier to use as well.

Not bad for a small vacuum with 2021 update.
Update: owned it since 2018 it’s now 2021 the battery pack has started to give up but the machine and filter remain fine and it’s been used pretty much every day for the last three years. Never really bought Black and Decker. But I’d heard good things about this. It’s brilliant kit, kids make a mess this comes straight out and good for the car, the changing trap is rubbish tho way to thin and the holder for the attachments is rubbish. But the vacuum is really good! Would be a five if the holder was better.
Easy to store compact gadge
Good suction , nice handy gadget . Its best to buy second filter so you can rinse them out regularly to maintain good suction. Could be even better if it had a more pointy tool then you could use it on small items e.g.. cleaning keyboards. Battery life satisfactory so far but not had it long .
Perfect for cleaning the car, it has really good suction, a long hose and useful attachments. Only downside is the battery life (about 10mins) and it takes hours to charge. Having said that i would recommend this hand vac.
Nice mini vac, good for cat hairs. I actually bought this last year and it stopped working just before I’d had it a year. Amazon sent me a replacement no questions asked.

Well gotta say, I never though I needed this kind of vacuum cleaner before I bought this one for the car. It is amazing, the battery is impressive and it is very flexible. Does the job very well.
I guess it could use a little move sucking power, but I can’t complain, it is enough to clean.

Bought this item for my driving school car. For convieance and avoiding having to bring the house hover into the driveway with an extension cable especially coming into winter.
Very dubious about which vaccume to buy as I didn’t want to spend “Dyson” level of money and didn’t want to go down the single hand vacuume.
So the battery last about 20/25 minutes. First time I used this hadn’t cleaned the car in about three weeks, so lots of ground in dirt, stones, crumbs from the occasional sandwhich while working.
Wasn’t expecting to lift alot of the ground in items but was very surprised how much it did pick up. Didn’t get everything but way more than I thought given the condition and time since the last hoovering, didn’t get the car cleaned in one go went through two charges,but again due to volume of what was there.
I’ve changed my cleaning routine so give it a quick hover at the end of the day, taking less than 5 mins and can almost clean the car for the full week on one charge.
This won’t give you heavy duty cleaning but very good for this level of use. If you are looking for the once every couple of months car clean might not be for you.
Never used it in the house again regular cleaning would be serviceable for a quick once over but you would be emptying the hover a lot and probably not have a full house clean in a single charge.
This should be the common design for handheld vacuum cleaners!
Have been using it for three months now. This is a superb product. It’s the kind of product that makes you think why all other portable vacuum cleaners shouldn’t be like this. Here are my views:
Pros:
– The trunk makes life so easy. Can reach everywhere with precision.
– Good suction, does the job.
– The length of trunk allows you to easily reach corners and tight spaces that you normally cannot.
– Easy on your back, as a result as you can reach more without bending too much.
– Perfect for cleaning staircases. Previously had to drag a Henry up the stairs, holding the base with one hand, holding the trunk with the other, doing some acrobatics in between not to fall just to get the stairs clean; not to mention the cable running all over, things getting twisted up and all that. Now with this, it’s basically walk in the park; too easy. The brush is perfect for this.
Cons
– There are two attachments, one long and one short with a brush. Both very useful, but only one spot is provided on the base for storage. It makes sense for there to be two. So that they can both be stored on the device in a nice and tidy way. Not a big deal, but nice to have.
-Screeching loud noise, but would rather have a good suction than a quieter one. So it’s ok.

My take on this is, if your expectations are realistic about what performance you are going to get out of a portable wireless hoover at this price point then you will be very happy. If you are expecting dyson or Henry power then that’s obviously unrealistic. Hoovered my car, sofas, baby play areas, mosquitos (lol) perfectly. The design is very good and ergonomic. It’s made hoovering fun actually and easier then getting the dyson out for small tasks. Very happy.
This thing is all about ease of use rather than out and out power, if you want a proper sucker you need to go corded. Having said that it removes 90% of the rubbish my Henry manages, (that’s a machine, not a butler) you simply have to go over the area a little more.
It’s very light, dead easy to carry and has a great 1.5m flex which means that, when cleaning a car, you plonk it on a seat while you work.
I can’t speak for its durability; I’ve only had it a day, but it’s 95% plastic so I assume it won’t last a lifetime, but hey, I’m 62 so you never know…

I was surprised by just how small this is. It’s very compact and I like how well it all clips together in a neat little bundle for charging and storing.
It’s small, so I’m not expecting massive amounts of suction. But it’s pretty reasonable in my opinion. I bought this primarily for cleaning my car’s interior which collects a lot of soil and grit — and whilst it wasn’t spotless, it did a great job. The fact that it’s got a flexible hose and different nozzle attachments helps a lot too. I also use for little jobs in the house, including the stairs, which are usually a bit tedious to do with my usual upright vacuum.
It was the cheapest vacuum, but it was no where near the most expensive either. I’m sure the Dyson is super-powerful, but it’s a bit bigger and more than three times the price. So I’m satisfied on the value for money grounds.
My 5yo son was fascinated with this vacuum and he can easily carry it — so added benefit here is that it allows children to assist with the household chores!!
I absolutely love this hoover! It is obviously not as powerful as a more expensive or upright hoover product but for the money almost indispensable for me. The design with the extending hose means it is much more versatile than others and so light!. It actually can be pulled along like an upright Henry type hoover. The brush part has enabled me to AT LAST to find an effective,quick and dust-free way to clean my wrought iron banisters. With the brush out it also dusts every surface, nook and cranny in the house. This time of year means that window sills are constantly littered with dead flies but this vacuum quickly sucks them all up; plus the odd spider or wood louse etc.
Brilliant little hoover that is greeting pat hairs off the sofa! Good battery life, light weight and good suction. The only niggle is with the brush attachment, it’s floppy… ok if brushing in one direction gently, but if you changed direction it collapses, I don’t understand why it’s hinged??? Other than that good price, good suction it does what I need it to do that is remove dogs hairs from cushions, sofa, car! Using it daily, it’s also great in the kitchen for dry spills! Oh and the dog loves being hoovered by it! When he hears it or sees me luck it up, I have to hoover him then the furniture/spill

Great size. Perfect for leaving on a kitchen worktop. It’s easy to use and easy to empty. I like the nozzle with the brush that swivels in to place.
I would have liked a little bit more suction if I’m honest. It’s good for crumbs but struggles with fine dust.

Having tried 2 or 3 of these small hand held vacuums with disappointing low vacuum suction, poor dust filtering and abysmal battery power duration, I am glad to say I’ve struck lucky at last. OK, it’s a little bit more expensive but quality comes at a price. I bought it specifically to vacuum the car and it does that rather well. Emptying the dust receptor is a dream, simplicity itself. I’m rather pleased with my buy thus far.

This replaced our old Dyson hand held.
What a difference, the Dyson was all noise and not much suction whereas this is noise with power.

Great machine
Very portable, almost using everyday. The base is a bit flimsy but it’s not a big deal. Suction power is good enough to handle the mess of my son, and the detachable hose is a plus, don’t have to raise the whole machine to vacuum on high surfaces.
Update one year later: Still loving it, great cleaning the mess of my 2 year old son. Just bought another for a gift to my mother.
Good, beware of pipe blockages. Can’t detach pipe from vac, so bits of paper, cloth etc. can easily block it. Kink it pipe makes it impossible to see the blockage or clear it. I advise getting a cheap plastic flexible drain cleaning rod, about 2ft – 3ft long, to remove them.

Surprisingly efficient – more suction than my parent’s Dyson!!! If you can’t have a mains vacuum get one of these.
Why not 5 stars? No wall-mount option so takes up room on the floor/shelf.
