Loud and meaty Bluetooth speaker. Blows my old speaker out of the water! I turned it on to test it, had my phone volume set on half, it parted my hair! There might be amazing big speakers out there, but for a little-ish portable Bluetooth speaker this is amazing! Sound quality is beautiful. The whole house enjoyed “I think we’re alone now” by Tiffany! Battery life isn’t bad either. For the price I highly recommend.

    LOUD!

Probably best in its price range. Had JBL and Bose prior and it lacks behind them in terms of sound quality although we need to remember the price point here.
It’s a very sturdy unit. I personally cut the carrying strap however I can see how someone would want that. As alway Amazon delivered when they said they would and it was packaged well. I tried my iPhone through it and it sounds good but not great. It gets loud but not in a nice way. Better to keep levels about 3-4 from max and have your phone at max. There is an equaliser but it’s not very good. Makes it sound very distorted.
Best keeping it at neutral. Bass is ok. And as I say couple of tweaks and it sounds good. Will fill a large room no problem. I have used the jack to plug to my Echo Dot so am using Alexa through it and it’s good for that.
    Bluetooth connection was easy.
Overall it’s a good all round speaker however don’t expect Bose quality at this price.

The sound this speaker pushes out at the volume it does without distortion for this price is insane. Huge bass, clear highs and decent mids. You really can’t do any better for the price. Although the sound may not suit everyone, it’s certainly not a hifi speaker for listening to details of a song. It is more of a boombox for blasting your music for a bit of a dance, in that department this speaker performs beautifully.

One of my speakers did end up faulty, which is a shame. But I simply cannot complain as the customer service was great and they sent me a replacement with no hesitation.

    Absolute Bargain! Highly Reccomend!!

For what you pay, this speaker is amazing! I use it for my work in a very loud factory and it still holds up. Very much worth the price. My only complaint is that you can only pair one device at a time, other than that, spot on.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAn amazing speaker the build quality is incredibly robust and they claim it is waterproof or though I’ve not tried that aspect. The sound quality is crisp and clear with deep bases full stop one can alter the graphic equaliser by pressing a button. it would be better for the unit display play which equaliser mode is currently active but you can hear the difference so it’s not a deal breaker. the unit is large please see the photo to compare with the next model lower. naturally the largest size means biggest speakers and the acoustic quality is is also greatly improved by this. The unit has no issue filling my room which is over 40 m squared. Outside in a park or on a beach this unit would work incredibly well because it is so loud.

The two base speakers are on either end of the unit and are exposed they are covered slightly by the end fixings but there is a gap. one would have to be careful sand and other debris do not fall into this area full stop and improvement would be to provide a mesh or something of this nature to cover those areas

You really can’t fault the sound quality it is as good if not better than expensive Bose or JBL, but at a fraction of the cost.

Robust, loud, crystal sound, deep base

Even though i returned the product I’m giving it 4 stars for the price and convenience.

I bought to primarily boost my cars ageing sound system but this speaker wasn’t loud enough for me.

Granted it works well around the house and generates good sound in rooms and outdoors however for my bespoke purpose it didnt quite fit the bill.

The bass is good and the sound is crisp. I would have maybe kept it had it outputted 100w

I wanted a speaker for outdoor use, and occasional use to fill a space. This thing is loud, I need to go to a field somewhere to find out just how loud it can go, because indoors, I can’t crank it all the way. Ok maybe a little exaggeration.
It feels and looks rugged, and sound quality for dance / edm style music is good enough. There may be better performance for the purist, but this device is designed to be carried around to play outdoors and so-on.
With Bluetooth from my phone there is a slight lag on YouTube videos, but that is not what I wanted it for. Lag is a fraction of a second.
The shoulder strap is indeed a bit odd, it can not be removed without cutting, but it does provide a solid handle to carry it. This could easily been made on the strap with a second buckle or a plastic snap fit to make it removeable, but it makes no difference to me.
I pondered for a long time before buying, as it is not throw away money, and I am happy with it, does what I wanted it to do.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI am more than happy with this speaker. Being an avid lover of genres spanning Techno to Classical, I needed an all round decent speaker, and for the price, this is the best budget speaker out there. My only criticism is that it could definitely be louder. Even at full volume, I feel like it could push slightly further. However, you certainly can throw a small party for sure. Its sturdy, a little on the heavy side, but well built. I am sure it will stand the test of time. The strap makes it very portable, and if you have the extra money to buy another, you can easily connect them together to make, essentially, a portable PA system.

At full volume battery last about 3 to 4 hours. At lower volume done a 12hour shift no problem. Bluetooth range is phenomenal in an open warehouse 75-100m easy. Paired with another w-king speaker at other end of warehouse is amazing. Bass is brilliant from such small drivers. Only down side i have found is it could do with a mains plug-in, as when battery gets low it constantly beeps at you. Even after you plugged it in to charge unless you reduce volume right dow

Fantastic product. Unbelievable sound for such a compact unit.
Absolutely great… apart from one thing: I bought two, as the blurb (and the owners’ manual; and an illustration on the box) indicates that you can configure one unit as “left” with the other playing “right”, in what they call “True Wireless Stereo”.
This DOES NOT WORK! They both play the same stereo pair of signals, and fill a room well with sound, but it’s not possible to achieve their boasted “TWS”. I have been in contact with the suppliers, and they’ve said they’ll change their blurb and packaging, but until then, don’t be fooled.
Apart from that, brilliant piece of kit, and very good price (I paid 64, but I noticed they went up to 78 before Black Friday! Devious..!).

After searching for and entry level Bluetooth speaker and reading countless reviews, I plumped for this unit.

It arrived promptly, nice packaging. Sturdy unit and quite weighty which feels nice.

Sound wise, the speaker performs well. It has a simple button to change the sound profile between 2 presets. 1 is a clear, full, dynamic sound – the other ‘bassy’ I guess you’d call it.

I only use the clear preset, preferring to EQ my music properly with Poweramp via my phone. I’m finding it to produce excellent results. I like a wide variety of music from rock & metal to drum & bass and techno. The speaker performs well across the whole spectrum, with a very warm, deep bass sound once EQ’d properly. I think you definitely need an understanding of EQ’ing your music too get the most out of this unit.

Overall, I’m very satisfied with the unit. Great value for money.

Great, entry level unit with a decent punch, although needs a little help to get the best from it...

Bought this as a replacement for my trusty JBL flip which finally gave up the ghost after many years of honourable service! I didn’t know much about the speaker but I took a punt and I wasn’t disappointed!! I use this every day in a noisy factory and it cuts through all the background noise brilliantly. I love this speaker! The battery life is sensational! Its simple to use, it ticks every box…..and what a price!!! Buy and enjoy guys…

Hooks up to my vinyl player and connects via Bluetooth.
Only problem I could find was it won’t connect to Bluetooth with the aux cable in other than that bang on speake

I’ve had one of these for a while and decided to get another one and pair them up. The pairing is very clever and acts as stero. Positioned correctly you get surround sound effect. Makes my working day an utter pleasure.

The sound quality is amazing, the bass is pretty deep and overall just really quite good.

Although I have them permanently plugged in nkw, I’ve used them for 8 hours a day for at least 5 days before they needed a charge.

I highly recommend this speaker and if you can, do get two..

    Absolutely awesome speakers

I’ve had a few portable speakers in my time, and this one is easily the best. It’s also the largest by far, and I wouldn’t really consider it to be a speaker you can just chuck in your bag when you’re going somewhere. It fits in a rucksack, but doesn’t leave room for much else.

Speakers I have owned / currently own.

    MiniRig v1
    Anker Soundcore 2
    Anker Soundcore Boost
    Aukey 11w Speaker (discontinued)

My favourite speaker from the above is probably the Boost, and it’s what I’ve been using in the workshop until I purchased the W-King D8.

The W-King D8 has a very big sound. It’s the first speaker I’ve had where it isn’t obvious that you’re listening to something portable. It has the reach, clarity and fullness of something more like a hifi or other “permanent” audio set up. It goes incredibly loud without distorting, and the bass response is pretty good too. I would say that at low volumes the Soundcore Boost perhaps has slightly more bass, but the bass quickly dies out at higher volumes on the Boost. On the D8, you get a reasonable to good amount of bass all the way up to the loudest volume.

The EQ button is slightly unusual, it just switches between 2 modes – one of them being brighter than the other. The brightness is OK is some music genres, but in others it adds too much treble. I prefer the default setting 90% of the time.

The battery life is excellent. I had it playing most of the day and it only dropped by roughly 30%.

It loses one star only because of these three reasons:

    1) Whilst the bass response is pretty good, I would like to hear just a little bit more.
    2) The volume control doesn’t link with my Pixel 3a. Both volumes (phone and speaker) are independent of one another. For example to get full volume you would need to turn both the speaker and your phone to full volume. A mild inconvenience.
    3) Like most budget speakers, there is a slight de-sync when watching a video on your phone.

I was going to buy this for its full price but wisely waited for Prime Day, saving 25 off the price 🙂 And what a speaker! Loud, clear music with truly decent bass – powerful and deep given the driver sizes. No chance of running the battery flat even playing all day. I can truly enjoy my music on this. Being able to recharge a phone with it is a handy extra.

For me, the only downsides are that the carrying strap is not removable and that there is no rubber shock absorption to protect it from a fall – it feels like it would crack or even shatter if you ever dropped it on a hard floor. As I primarily intend to use it at work this is a concern.

Overall I’m happy to rate this at 5 stars – it’s a stonking performer and everyone who’s heard it agrees.

I’ve been through a LOT of Bluetooth speakers. To each there own – there is a LOT of choice out there. In my humble opinion….. the W-KING will give you the BIGGEST BANG for your buck!!! This thing will SHAKE your living room, and unlike other speakers, the sound doesn’t get distorted when you crank it up!!!

Its also good for watching TV shows and Movies through. Trust me, jump on YouTube and play a clip of Rambo shooting his guns and it just THUNDERS!!!

I got one of these for my old man’s birthday – and he loved it SO MUCH – he ordered ANOTHER one – because, yes, you can hook TWO of these bad boys together.

And we were fortunate enough to get then on Lightning deals – at the time – just 54!!! An absolute STEAL!!!

Don’t think – just do!!! Grab this speaker NOW!!! You WON’T be disappointed.

***Note: I gave the speaker a FOUR for battery life. The battery is VERY GOOD – but bare in mind – the LOUDER you have the speaker, the LESS the battery will last. That’s just basic logic. You still get quite a few hours out it. AND you can STILL use it whilst charging it up (if you have to)

It's called KING for a reason...

As said by most reviews and YouTube this offers excellent value for money. Many have said it really does ‘Slappa Da Bass Mon’ and it certainly does give great bass. Treble is fine. I’m very happy, and its as loud as my Sonos Play3. Battery life is good, of course if you put on volume 11, battery will not last as long. Calling it W-King is really asking for someone with a marker pen to add a couple more letters!

    Great Bass

Honestly.. Looking forward to buy one more in order to connect them in-between.

Excellent speaker. I’ve been searching for a long time trying to find a speaker with adequate loudness and sound quality for outdoor use, particularly during outdoor sport sessions.
This speaker so far has proved ideal for that purpose. The build of it is incredibly sturdy and it has that evident premium quality feel you would expect for the price. Everything from the controls to the charging is simple and intuitive. The sound itself is top notch. It’s hard to describe in words of course, but it’s simply very very loud and it’ll definitely meet your expectations. The battery life is also great, perhaps not 24 hours but once fully charged you don’t need to worry about it dying on you throughout the day,
Great product and very satisfied with it, would recommend.

Most brilliant definition of sounds at low volume. Graphic equalizer works. HD is spot on. Battery life most satisfactory. But not really waterproof. Worried about proper rain but at the price very, very, good. I bought as an alternative to HD music centre because tocday most audio media is got from a download or streaming. So why not have a HD quality speaker and via blue tooth ( or hard wired) and the result is a High Definition system. Just choose your bit rate and it all sings to you or booms at you.

Bought as a present, so I can’t do a complete review. It has a really good sound with a deep base at high volume ( max volume is VERY loud!) Good battery life and Bluetooth connection was easy to do. All I can say is that my son is pleased with the sound quality. He has tried a few Bluetooth speakers in the past, apparently this ticks all boxes

Wanted a quality speaker to play for my training session outside. Needed a very loud speaker but one with good sound quality. Have to say no disappointed at all, and actually very impressed. Very good to use outside due to the waterproofing, sound quality excellent and very loud, but equally good at low volumes. Haven’t found a better one for the money. Got this for my stepson after spending a fortune on a supposed high quality item from a well known brand that didn’t cut it for him. He loves it…mainly due to its very high volume level. It is a bit heavier than he would like but accepts that as a compromise. My only disappointment was that the one I got had obviously been opened before. Bit naughty

Looking for a bluetooth speaker to replace my Onkyo X6 and laboured long and hard, read review after review and the D8 kept getting a mention as being a giant killer!
For the price i took a punt, here’s what i found.
First impressions are it dwafted the Onkyo unit and although still portable i realised my hand luggage space when travelling will be reduced massively!
It’s about the size of a JBL extreme so i expected some bang for the buck!
It’s styling will not be to everone’s liking and is typical Chinese build, plastic yet sturdy and looks fairly solidly put together.
Now for the important bit, sound.
The sound is loud, alot louder than the Onkyo but at lower levels they are not massively different with the premium brand Onkyo almost being on a par. Turn them up and obviously the D8 is much louder.
Bass was not quite as deep as i was hopeing for but for 67 aint half bad.
It has a ‘equaliser’ button which when pressed seems to add more mid and treble but not more bass strangley, the normal setting seems to offer a flatter less bright sound!
Thinking things may loosen up after a few hours of play as all speakers do (run them in!)
If this improves significantly i will edit this post.
The unit seems to be around 2.5kg, so if you are thinking of putting it in small bags or a shoulder bag you will know you are carrying it!
Another thing to mention is the strap this unit comes with would seem to be non removable, this may bother some and seems a little strange you can’t take it off.

    Summary…

For 67 this unit is fantastic value and unless you are comparing against the same sized premium brand offerings you probably will not be dissapointed at all and remember they will be at least double (and some) more expensive than this D8. It will not dissapoint and you could get another to pair as stereo speakers if you wish for less than a premium single.
I posted a picture of the 4 year old Onkyo X6 for comparison (Cost new 119!) Tiny, but a nice sound and ultra portable and better sound than a equivelent JBL Flip of the time.
So in short well worth the money, but stops just short somehow of really impressing you, even at this low asking price! 8/10

    More Tyson Fury than Ali!

I had a DJ friend of mine staying last weekend. I knew we would be spending time in the garden and I knew my iPad speakers would not be good enough for reviewing tracks. I did some research and decided to go for the W-KING. Unboxing was a breeze; there was plenty of battery life although they recommend charging first before use. We had a listen and were blown away. Sound was excellent. Being able to connect your phone / iPad for charging also excellent. This unit is so good in my opinion. Solid and well built. My friend went home and purchased 2. The unit can then play L/R through two units! I highly recommend this item and you won’t believe the price. Well done W-KING

Have had this speaker for a week now and so far very pleased with the quality of the speaker. Connects to Bluetooth very well. Well made and very portable and sounds very good and sound does not distorts when volume is high. Also received a nice email from the seller asking if I was pleased with the speaker and if there was problems contact them. Brought this for my wedding party and my future wife was so impressed with the sound that she also brought one and now we have paired both of them together and the sound quality is great. I would recommend this speaker because I am so happy with it so far.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersFor the money I paid 71 pounds you can not go wrong. sound Quality, battery life, Noise level, I Would happily give 5 stars yes there are better Bluetooth speakers out there on the market but you will pay twice as much. So at this price point this is an excellent size speaker with very good build quality and sound quality. It is very easy to set up out of the box. I would say this speaker is aimed at bassheads like myself but if you turn the volume down a little vocals sound okay” if you consider the price of the JBL extreme 2 at nearly 200 pounds the W-KING is a absolute bargain definitely matches JBL on the sound and bass, The only thing I would say if W King make a future model perhaps just tweak the mid range other than that this is a really excellent speaker for the money you won’t be disappointed. Just go out and buy this speaker and save some money.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI bought this item just under a year ago. The item was brilliant. Yes there is a premium price to it but really in todays world of Bluetooth speakers, for the wattage your getting, its good value for sure, portability maybe not so much but its 2x 25w speakers.. theres no way around that. Now this item after general outdoor use stopped working. Wouldn’t charge and was gutted. I contacted the team as you have 12 month warranty with thisnitem as stated in the box. Well, I forgot about this, but thought id email them my disappointment of the speaker no longer working, and were quick to reply to offer a replacement, no qualms. That in itself is excellent, and for that reason alone, would recommend.. oh, and the speaker is VERY LOUD.

I’m ordering my second one now to pair them together! I have a Bose portable speaker which cost five times more than this. The sound is great and the battery life is good too. Glad I chose the bigger version.
Only problem is that when connected to Bluetooth, sometimes there is lag or sound interruption.
But I use when I work out or when I am painting and it’s much better than earbuds or phone speaker.
Looks durable too so hopefully get a load of years out of it!!

OK it’s not like being in a recording studio, or our at a festival… but the sound quality is good for the price.

One thing to note is that if you’re using on Bluetooth as a speaker when watching a film or tv, the speaker develops a lag, so the sound is half a second or so after the video. Easily remedied by using the mini jack connector – it’s just a slight bluetooth lag that you don’t notice when only streaming music..

I bought this little speaker as a “temporary” Bluetooth speaker I take to Firejams and beach parties figuring that at this price range it wouldn’t be much louder than the other ones I’ve seen friends take down there. I was wrong and I won’t need to replace it with anything…

This speaker goes so loud and has so much punch that you can feel the vibrations from the bass in the sand on the beach from a good 10 – 15 meters away and you can “feel” it outside. This speaker will overpower a party of 80 people outside easily if needed. While the bass is non-directional the mid and high only comes out the side with the grill but it has a wide soundstage so you’ll want to have the grill facing upwards if you are using it in a party outdoor setting. This speaker sounds B E U T I F U L when played in the woods <3

As for sound quality it's actually surprisingly good if a little bass heavy if you are using it in a small room. You'll want to "find" the right preset EQ on the speaker because many of them are too bass heavy, there are 2 that sound quite good, when you take the speaker outside however you'll see "why", The bass is not "floppy" and it doesn't crunch even when very very loud. I have no idea "where" the sound comes from because the speaker is a bit smaller than expected when I first opened it, but it sounded much much much bigger than I expected it. You may find the sound quite aggressive when you use it in a smaller room - this really is a speaker for outdoor or larger indoor spaces and the "aggressiveness" of the sound obviously evens out when it's used outdoors allowing the audio to sound rich and full.

Every single person who has heard it was really surprised when they saw where it was coming from, this actually beats my friends 15" rave speaker which is much larger and heavier, I haven't tested it at full volume because even in a party of 80 dancing people outside at the beach turning it up any louder would have been uncomfortable but even when set really loud there was no distortion.

The speaker has a fairly rugged rubber flap over the USB ports and is definitely sand proof and while I haven't tested it looks like it'd survive having a drink spilled on it, light rain or even an accidental dip in the sea due to the buttons, both subwoofers and the speakers behind the grill being made of rubber, metal and plastic. All the buttons have "seals" around as well, so there is nowhere for sand or water to "get in" easily.

As for battery life, I can't really comment because the battery has never "ran out" and it charges in around an hour and a half. I can say that this speaker was able to charge my friends dead iPhone and play music loudly for several long hours and it still had quite a bit of juice left but as of yet I haven't been able to run the battery down (since I always make sure it's charged up before I bring it out). After 8 hours of continuous play of bass heavy dub reggae at a very loud volume 2 of the 3 power indicator LED's are still on. The underside of the speaker states that it has 2 x 4000mAh batteries inside (for reference a modern a high end smartphone has 1 x 3500mAh battery) and because the speaker only does one thing (play audio) and is lacking in bloated and useless features this is why it lasts as long as it does.

As for features, the buttons may appear to leave quite a bit to be desired and may be a disappointment initially but this makes for "easy, fast and quick" usage. There is an EQ button to select between several built in EQ presets (the one it comes with doesn't sound great), a volume up button, a volume down button, an "input select" button and a power button. there are 3 LEDs to indicate remaining power, 1 for charging and 1 to indicate bluetooth connectivity. As for inputs there is a USB-C charging port to charge the speaker (I haven't tested this to see if it'll play music through it). Meaning you could charge it from one of those power banks and it makes it easier to charge up in a pinch. There is a standard USB port which you can use to charge your phone off and there is of course an standard aux (headphone style) if your old fashioned and prefer to use a cable (hint: this will actually save battery on both your phone and the speaker).

While I haven't done this on this speaker yet as I've not needed to, I can give some good advice on how to get both more volume and more battery life out of any speake

W…King 50 watts Unit is absolutely great. I use it in my garden and can charge my mobile whilst using it to pay tunes from my mobile. Great for small party gatherings in the garden. The charting straps allows you to transport it with ease. Fits on your shoulder like a casual bag.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter months of searching this is the perfect speaker for my home gym. Seriously don’t scroll anymore. This is very loud and the bass is epic. Whether you want to blast dance or metal this robust bit of tech can handle it without distortion. The battery is also amazing I have used it a full week for up to two hours a sesh before needing to charge it which is over the estimated time in the book. I’ll be buying another for the camper van. Very tough unit which will withstand knocks.

This speaker is amazing. It’s the 7th Bluetooth speaker I’ve owned and my favourite by a long way. The sound quality is really well balanced across lows, mids and highs, but it’s the fact that there’s a proper bass presence that makes this speaker stand out. Well, that and the inexplicably low price.
I’ll not repeat the specs or features – they’re available in the description – but a big plus with this speaker compared with, say, the JBL Flip 5, is the input jack. This allows the speaker to be used as a TV soundbar or with an old iPod or anything else that doesn’t have bluetooth built in.
If you’re looking for something smaller or less expensive, you’ll sacrafice the sensation of bass that this provides, but there are still some good options out there. My previous favourite was the Neocore A1 which, for around 20, has great clarity for such a small unit. You can boost the lows a bit with apps like ‘Subwoofer Pro’ which improves the sound a little. The Anker Soundcore is a good, clear speaker too at around 30 (though I prefer the less expensive Neocore). The Kitsound Boombar and Hive speakers were once pretty decent but they just didn’t match the sound quality of the others I’ve mentioned.
If you have a bit extra to spend and if you don’t mind that the W-King is a bit bigger than its competitors, you’ll like this speaker. I’m still bewildered at the price in comparison with the similar sounding JBL.
In summary, this is a well priced, great sounding and decently built unit and I’d highly recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersRead a lot of reviews before purchasing, absolutely love this speaker, really like the sound quality, but having a good music player app really brings out the best in this speaker, especially one with a good equilizer, i use Pi music player and use the rock setting or a personal one. I dont believe for a minute JBL or other so called premium makes are as good as this at 3 times the price, this is fantastic for the price, outdoor mode is also noticeably better when used outside. Highly recommend, only thing is you need to turn off a bluetooth device before you connect another but still not a problem. Good weighty product, feels premium quality, battery life excellent as well.

Ok.. so I’ve purchased this for my soon to be 12 year old daughter … I’ve tested it & I kid you not it rivals my sonos play 2 & definitely beats the Sonos 1! Doesn’t quite touch the Sonos 5 but… blimey my kid is going to be cool as with her back pack bouncing when she’s off out the park with her homies! I’m
Wondering if I should purchase one myself & use it when I’m walking about marksys doing my food shop! Can a 41 year old Carry a boom box without looking like an absolute mental case !?? I digress…. this thing is absolutely the dogs!! Sound is phenomenal… it’s sturdy & robust .. looks almost like some strange video camera from the 80s! But I sware… it’s absolutely worth every penny !! It’s a third the price of a Sonos… & most definitely beats the 1 without doubt! Plus… charge your phone on the move …. it’s a funky lil boom box! Its certainly got some weight to it, shows its not cheaply made. The sound is excellent and certainly packs a punch for its size. Just been told to turn it down by my mother (I’m 50yrs old for crying out loud!) who obviously doesn’t appreciate Machine Head .

I got to say what a brilliant speaker. I was previously looking at the JBL xtreme , Sony and LG Bluetooth speakers. Was willing to pay 200 for the jbl. But while I was searching I come across this one amazon. The top review on here with the review of this speaker showing its quality made me take the risk and for 80 was worth the shot. Well i have to say I am glad I went for this. The sound quality and loudness of this speaker blown me away. For the price its unreal, and if this one ever broke I would definitely buy another. Again the quality is just unreal, it towers over my pals JBL xtreme on full volume with outdoor EQ selected. If you are debating whether to buy this, i say do it. You definitely will not regret it.

Im very excited to tell you all that I’m absolutely in love with this compact and cute Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is really good and the few people I have demonstrated the sound quality to agrees it is a good buy! It is a little heavy but the strap makes it easier to carry around. I purchased this speaker so my friends and I could enjoy our music with exceptional sound quality (whilst social distancing) in the park. I love bass especially and with this speaker you sure do feel and hear the bass. I would defo recommend to buy. It comes with a little instruction booklet and a usb lead to charge. No plug – I used my plug for phone at first but decided to order the plug recommended to use in the booklet.

    Worth the money 100%.

The base level is brilliant, the sound isn’t muffled like most speakers, the battery life on this lasts all day. Even at full sound, the battery is very good. I’m that impressed, I’m purchasing another one just so I can use it for surround sound sweet sell. I’m impressed overall. Thank you for this.

Great clear sound, nice bass and loud. Have used it with Bluetooth to connect to my mobile and audio lead for my laptop with no issues. Battery life is great. I like the fact that there is a bit of weight to it, the last speaker I had danced about the place when I played music and fell off the table several times. Only issues, audio cable that comes with it is way too short and slight distortion when using EQ button on outdoor mode. overall very happy with my purchase.

I was looking for a budget speaker (as I am not so fancy with this stuff), however, was looking for some quality as well.
I read a couple of reviews and decided to go for the W-King 50W.
No regrets, nice sound, good battery life (played for over 4 hours and the battery just consumed 1 bar on the indicator).
Had a barbecue this weekend with some relatives and they were also impressed with this speaker.
    I do recommend.

I ordered this based on previous favourable reviews but I thought its small size might make the sound lack power so didn’t expect I would like it that much. I admit I was wrong. This box has a nice deep bass way better than something this size should have and it will go very loud with minimal distortion. The speaker paired with no difficulties and the controls are simple to use. The volume controls also act as previous/next track if held down.

Normally the claimed wattage on portable speakers tends to be BS but I believe this does have the output stated on the box. So far the battery life is very impressive which after a few sessions of use remains at full capacity on the 3X led display. The sound is good on all sorts of music genres all of which play with strong presence and bass. At low volume the sound is still very full unlike some speakers on the market.

The only minor issue is the buttons which are virtually flat and visually blend in to the casing which may be an issue for some users when trying to find the control they want.

Though the box contains stereo speakers the speakers lack a stereo image (sound mono) due to the speakers close proximity to each other in the small enclosure. I have now added a second one for true stereo sound and they sound even better one becomes the left channel and the other the right. A portable full stereo music system ready for anywhere. It is a little fiddly getting the units to pair with each other the first time but after that they will pair as soon as switched on. When used as a pair one set of controls will control both units including the volume and power off controls. The only minor downside when carrying 2 they are pretty heavy.

    Great product.
Build quality is good; a reasonably rugged piece of equipment.
Sound quality; I have two 50W units bluetooth paired, awesome. Plenty of bass and yet the higher tones are still crisp. As a stereo duo, it’s loud, big enough for the average village hall. There is a tiny hiss from the bluetooth when no audio is playing but that happens on other equipment as well. I think that’s a characteristic of bluetooth. I have not run them long enough to flatten the batteries in one go. I have run them continuously for fifteen hours at mid volume and there is still some left. They are quite heavy; I wouldn’t want to carry two units very far but one on it’s own, with the ample shoulder strap, is quite manageable to take on a walk. You could even hold it on your shoulder and relive your `ghetto blaster’ days!

Golden Review Award: 41 From Our UsersOnly got this yesterday and tested last night for a few hours.
Sound is very good, bass, but lots of subtle tones bringing different sounds you may not have heard before in a track. It’s worth mentioning the bass is really nice at low volume as well which was really unexpected. Loud and clear as others have said obviously.
I did extensive reviews over a week before buying and this came out very good. One thing I did find frustrating was the lack of reviews which gave a perspective of size, so I have added some pictures with a standard size 330ml soft drink to help you get a better idea, other than just adding dimensions again. It’s fairly heavy and that makes it feel well made. I have also tried to photo the quality speakers behind the green cap ends.
At a third of the price of comparable products it’s a great buy. I do question the graphics W-King which seems an unfortunate brand name as it looks like it might be a euphemism if you can get over that, this speaker is top notch for the price.
Well done W-King and as always Amazon for quick delivery, even on a bank holiday (not upgraded post option)

Wow, this is loud. It’s a bit heavier, tbh, than I expected, but it is rather loud. Chose it for the garden to replace a speaker where the battery was getting old.. Not sure about the equaliser as to me this is like a bright or base function. Either function works well though, and I played my Music account through my G9, and it was loud. In doors I had it on about 10% volume, didn’t go, or need to go, any louder as the wife was home.. Now I will get another and pair them up in the garden for BBQ’s after lock-down..
And yes I bought 2 so now I have Los abbs rich, STEREO, sound in the garden.

No doubt there are louder (though not many) bluetooth speakers than this, and perhaps some of the big brand names may have marginally better dynamic range. But for that you will pay significantly more than the cost of this one. At this price point, this speaker in my view stands shoulder to shoulder with the best of them. When used indoors you will not get anywhere near max volume, it’ll be just too loud, unless of course you live in an aircraft hangar! But what about outdoors ? It very much depends on how big a space you’re trying to fill, if your garden is like a small football stadium, it will struggle. But for the average or even slightly larger than average garden, this speaker will have no problem filling that. I haven’t had this long enough yet to fully test battery life, but I have been running it for about 12 hours on and off over a number of days, with the volume at up to 75% of max for about 3 or 3.5 of those 12, and the battery charge only dropped by a third. Charging the battery however is something to consider in a little more detail. It’s a big battery, probably about 16 times the size of your smartphone battery, so a basic phone charger will struggle to fully charge this, and most likely overrun it as well. If you do decide to purchase one if these speakers, consider getting a 2.4 amp or better USB charger for it. Overall I will definitely recommend this speaker, the sound quality might not be audiophile standard, but at this price it’s surprisingly good.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersMany people said plenty about sound already, I can confirm it is powerful. BTW using graphic EQ in Phone is really adviced.
Green plastic on sides (that looks bit metallic on pictures) is not painted only robust and placed on nice chrome spacers. I like it. Looks indestructible, however this speaker is big and heavy, dropping it may not be a good idea ;].
Using volumes close to Max volume on the Phone and Lower volume on speaker makes sound clearer, heavy basses and noises reduced.
Using Max volume on speaker and Lower volumes on phone + tone function on the speaker gives you access to heaviest basses.
First thing you will probably do with this speaker is calling last number by accident… ;]
    Hope it helps. My score:
Sound quality: 10/10 when Max Vol (or close) is set on the phone and lower volume is set on speaker, 7/10 when Vol Max on speaker and Low on phone
Power 10/10 when speaker is set to Max volume (or close) and you control volume by phone.
Value for money 11/10 (price I paid was 67)
Good stuff. Knowing trick with volume is important for desired power/quality/tone setting.

After spending about two weeks researching probably over a hundred speakers, from 30 models right up to the premium stuff in the 500+ bracket, I finally decided on this one and all I can say is wow! The speaker is rugged and feels like a well built piece of kit, set up is incredibly simple and within 5 minutes your ready to test the volume….. Which is nothing to be shrugged at by any means! It’s loud enough that having it on full volume while your close to it can be too much after 10 minutes, this thing really packs a punch for its reasonably portable size! Waterproof, with a carry strap as well….. What’s not to like? My only grumble if I could think of one would be the lack of ability to use the aux whilst charging, however you can still connect via Bluetooth whilst charging so its not really an issue! Finally the battery life is plenty, this would quite easily last a weekend of 4-5 hours a day at high ish volume.
For a portable speaker under 100 this thing really is brilliant!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersAfter watching all possible rewievs on youtube decided to choose this speaker, as it was named as “JBL extreme 2” killer. All reviews I watched on youtube was very positive and price was great. First time turned it on and maybe my expectations after all these video reviews was too big, I think I have expected it to be a bit louder and maybe to have better low frequencies.
But secound day I have understood how good it is. Its really loud for this size! It has good low frequencies as well, not as JBL where I think bass is deeper, but if you want even more bass with W King D8 put it near wall or in the corner then all low frequencies becomes very loud. Did not tried it outside yet, becouse my plan is to use it mainly in my garden, but I am very happy with it already.

The speaker is packaged very well and is eye catching with a fair bit of weight. I have used several portable speakers over the years and this is right up there. I currently compare this to my Creative Roar speaker which costs almost three as much but has no way the volume or battery life.

It’s quite a simplistic unit but gets the job done, the question is how does it sound? Well like all these types of speaker they have a narrow soundstage as the drivers are close together but with the added tweeters has surprisingly Bose like sound (heavy on the bass). I found that at low volumes 30% or less it sounds muddy coloured by the bass drivers, but after that it sounds really good up to about 80% when the bass starts to tail off probably to keep distortion to a minimum.

Bass radiators that actually work on this unit and placement is key, the sound is best on a flat surface like a table and close to a wall. I’ve used this speaker in work and it will last two days on reasonable volume before it needs charging, very impressed so far.

I use it mostly over Bluetooth and works perfectly however couldn’t get the NFC to work, tried it using a 3.5mm headphone cable into a Fiio MP3 hi-bit rate player and it is much more tuneable and even better sound. I got this in the Amazon sale 54 so was an absolute bargain, definitely would recommend it.

    Pros:
    Very loud
    Good sound quality
    Ideal for workplace
    Amazing battery life
    Can charge other devices

    Cons:
Only one setting on the equaliser
The name on the grill (workplace jokes)
    Very narrow soundstage

Golden Review Award: 91 From Our UsersI am a conference organiser and I was getting fed up with AV companies charging me a fortune for a PA system. I have a Behringer portable PA which is really good – but at 12KG it uses too much of my international baggage weight allowance. I was looking for a lighter alternative and this is it!

I took just one of these speakers to a conference last week to test it out. I set it to about 2/3 volume and placed it at the front of a 300 seater auditorium. It was easily loud enough to be heard at the back of the room. I have now bought a second speaker and a small cheapo mixing desk and hey presto a 100-watt PA system weighing about 5KG!

In addition to the weight benefit, there is another huge bonus – you can set it up with NO POWER! The batteries in the speakers last up to 24 hours apparently. Having had one switched on for 8 hours for occasional sound effects etc I still had all three power indicators lit at the end of the evening and it only took about 20 mins to recharge to full. If you get a USB-powered mixing desk like the one shown in my photo – you can run power to the mixer from the power output from the speaker (USB power output at rear). You could also use that to charge other devices at the expense of playing time. So, you are not reliant on the venue having handy plug sockets – you can set up wherever you want and recharge the speakers each night. Take that, conference PA hire companies!

The other cool thing about having two of these is that on bluetooth setting they wirelessly pair for big, wide, stereo sound. I have not been able to get them to wirelessly pair when I’m using a line input (minijack at rear) which is a shame. I bought one of each colour (green and black) so I can tell them apart and always know which the master-speaker is when paired.

The sound quality? Well I gave 4/5, but that is not 4/5 for a bluetooth speaker, that is 4/5 where 5 would be an expensive Bose speaker (for example). Unlike other BT speakers that promise bass but deliver tin, this has a fairly convincing bass, easily better than any of my other bluetooth speakers including Bose Soundlink. There are a few “EQ” settings that you can toggle through using a button on top. One of these (to my ears) is much louder and clearer than the others.

Any gripes? Well personally I was not very fond of the shoulder strap. A quick google revealed that this was not removable. It is removable – you can cut it off by running a sharp blade along the body of the unit where the strap emerges and tuck what is left into the hole. You cannot, of course, put it back! I prefer it without the strap (for my needs) but if you are using this casually for picnics or pool-parties the strap will be quite handy.

So in summary: I have used two of these to make a self-contained 100-watt portable PA – loud enough for a conference, weighing about half as much as a typical portable PA and costing about a third as much.

    Can’t recommend highly enough.

    Basically a portable PA system!

As soon as I listened to it for the first time, I was amazed.
The sound quality is excellent, the subwoofer is deep and makes the sound full and powerful.
This speaker has nothing to envy to the Bose.
But the only problem is the battery, which after less than a year and a half, the speaker lasts about 1 or 2 hours at most, compared to the presumable initial 24 hours. Not a problem, as I always use it at home and always on charge, so it’s not a big deal. For this I haven’t given 5 stars

Wow very impressed ,I have a JBL Extreme and it’s battery has gone , personally in my view it is not on par with the JBL Xtreme sound quality wise, I feel with the JBL it has more depth and high fidelity sound, it’s just balanced better, however the w-king is very impressive and for the price it is incredible, I’m very happy with this purchase as a substitute for my JBL Xtreme!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI have tonnes of Bluetooth speakers from LG, Sony, Tribit, Anker, Tronsmart to name but a few. Now this is the W-King, which is no doubt a franchise name as there are many speakers with these exact same design cues and all have different names. So bearing that in mind I arrived at this speaker with some trepidation.

I need not have worried, upon connecting this bad boy up to my phone and launching spotify, I was treated to the fullest and indeed loudest sound I’ve heard from a portable bluetooth speaker, well it is 50 watts after all. The unit has two presets, the default bass heavy and the loudness setting which ditches a little bit of the bass for higher volume and clearer highs, very much like the LG PK7’s Boost mode.

Aesthetically speaking the unit is plasticky bound with rather strange passive bass covers at either end, the grill at the front seems a tad cheap and I may paint this due to the rather unfortunate W-king logo, say no more.

A strap is attached for shoulder carrying and the whole unit is bulky and ipx5 rated for minor water resistance.

On the rear you get a 3.5mm input jack, usb c charging and a power bank usb A for charging your devices from the 8000mamp battery.

Does it beat my current best speaker the soundcore motion plus, hmmmm I would say due the formers ability to equalize through an app, you can get a slightly more refined sound from the soundcore, but on pure bass and clarity the w-king comes a very very close second and is indeed louder. Notices on youtube a bit of lag on the audio, via my phone tried it on a tablet and it was fine, not sure what is causing this, netflix and everything else, no issues.

One thing of note is on the w-king you do lose bass when going into the 65 percent volume region, not a great deal but enough to mention.

    Great speaker overall
An easy 9.3 put of 10.

What can I say about this speaker? Wow, it’s completely blown me away. I teach indoor cycle and Zumba classes. I use this in a medium sized sports studio, it fills the room with clear, loud, detailed sound! I’ve taught 10 gym classes with it on 75% volume (the instructions state it lasts 24 hours on 20% volume) and I’ve not had to recharge it yet! Amazing! It’ll probably last another 10 at least! It’s a very bassy speaker, I would use it in my house, but I think it may upset the neighbours haha.
Overall, and amazing speaker, so well built and easy to cart around with me to gym classes and friends houses.
I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersQuality portable Bluetooth speaker,I’ve bought quite a few speakers over the years & I would say this is probably one of the best I’ve had.Its a large speaker with weight which I think is a plus as you know you’ve got a quality item not cheap one.Sound is very loud & clear, I wouldn’t say the bass is over whelming but warm pleasant sounding, battery life so far is excellent playing around 30 percent of full volume it’s lasting 8 1/2 hrs & the battery’s 3 indicator lights haven’t move,so hopefully will get something near 24hr what’s been stated.over all a very good speaker at a very low price.Would definitely recommend grab one before the price goes up.

I have the world’s worst car stereo. seriously. It would make you weep to listen to a favourite tune in my car. So I looked into paying someone to replace it and it would cost more than the car, more to the point more than I am worth. So I grabbed one of these. I did my research and there was another more expensive speaker came most highly recommended but it was more than twice the price so I cut my clothes to suit my cloth and went for the one with the unforgettable name.
Fills the car with a rich, bass warm sound. I use it for audio books too and the clarity is superb. Not only that but it’s waterproof, portable, bluetooth and I can charge my phone off it. The battery came half charged and ran for three days ( I do a lot of driving ) it has a kind of tone boost button – a bit like a loudness button i guess which really enhances the sound. In fact they had just as well have hardwired this in the on position because it’s just so much better with than without that you’ll always use it.
Downsides? All I can find (other than the hilarious name) (which is actually a plus for me) is the charging plug is not a standard size. We have all become used to multiple cables lying around here there and everywhere, but the W**ker requires a unique plug (which is provided of course) but you wouldn’t want to lose it.

This is NOT a paid for review, not a naff freebie

Bit of an audiophile, gone through some serious equipment in the past, my living room set up cost 9k.

I also have the Bose soundlink that follows me with work. I recently sold 2x Sonos 1 and a Sonos 3 I was running in my kitchen (big kitchen) but missed deep bass, wasn’t willing to pay the ridiculous cost of a subwoofer.

However, the Bose is dying a death and I rarely travel now but still want a portable, I read the reviews on this and thought it can’t be as good as a Sonos 1 surely, it’s not.. but it’s damn near close and for the money is actually quite astonishing. It’s just a teeny bit out from the Sonos on tightness and neutrality but only just.

If your hovering over the buy button don’t, just buy it, seriously. It’s a really good speaker for the money.

The sound quality and battery life are both superb and better than I had expected. I lover the sound of the bass. I was surprised however at the low level that the volume is capped at…..but on reflection perhaps I should not be. Perhaps I should not be surprised that the manufacturers are more concerned for my long term hearing capability than, by my actions, I have been. We should thank W–King for this superb piece of kit.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersStraight out of the box I was happy with this. It was packaged really well …if they take the time to design good looking packaging which fits the product well they have spent some time thinking about the customer experience sometimes lacking when you get a jiffy bag. The unit was heavier than expected and has a solid feel to it. The mouldings and details are all pin sharp making this look aesthetically good …but how will it sound? It paired with my phone within a few seconds with the usual “Bingly Bongs” we have come to expect these days with a blue led confirming bluetooth active. The only problem now was a short delay in trying to work out what track to play first ! I wasn’t disappointed It had a good sound across the range and the preset equaliser had some good options. I wound it up to max and there was no distortion at all and the bass speakers didn’t start to bottom out either .sometimes on things which have poor speakers in ( Like my van) when you crank up the volume the speaker reaches a point where it cant go in or out anymore so basically puts a flat in your bass signal. NOT THIS UNIT its rich and crisp. I bought this as a workshop / site speaker and I wont be embarrassed to take it with me.

Some people have asked if you can add a microphone to it and use it as a aerobic system or similar and the answer is yes BUT, you could use it solely for voice as I’ve seen on Amazon there is a radio mic system which has a 3.5mm jack which would plug in directly into the W-king and then its just a case of setting levels .

If you wanted to do speech or singing over music you would need a small mixer and Behringer do a xenyx range which have varying numbers of channels but at the basic level a single mic channel and a single audio channel are around the 35 mark with some additional cable adaptors this would make a smart little mobile PA system especially as you can slave another speaker off the primary one and have effectively stereo im led to believe.

All in all a good product, Im happy to review hopefully it will have a good long life .all you have to do now is stop your work colleagues adding (an) to the middle of the logo !

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis speaker is the best Bluetooth speaker for the price it’s mega loud and has lots of bass. I get about 4-6hours on a full charge depending if I’m blasting it or not. Well worth every penny. Sounds clear and amazing. All it needs now is some flashing LED lights on it and you’ve got yourself a mini night club. Go pick one up. I use mine at work in a warehouse and with all the noise around, I can still hear it very loud.

    Great speaker, very loud.

I paid 79 pounds for this which i think is a bit pricey 60 pound is nearer the mark…
I dont agree with other reviewers who think the bass is amazing and is always there it depends on the type and quality of music you are playing through it,sometimes i can hear the bass other times i cant and the sound is sometimes ordinary.., placing the speaker under a shelf or close to a corner helps or maybe cut out the front of the box it comes in and place it in there lol just a thought , having said that it does go loud and it does have a full bodied sound just not always the bass some reviewers are raving about…
If your thinking of buying this for indoors a 40 pound speaker would probably do the job if you want to take it outside or in a noisy workshop it might be worth paying for this one..
I had big expectations for this speaker based on reviews about the bass this speaker produces so im a bit disappointed on that front im not saying it doesn’t have bass just not deep bass that hangs about but its fairly light and does go loud also a remote control would have helped justify the price.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI needed a speaker for music for an exercise class that I teach. I had tried some others which were good speakers but just not loud enough over the noise of fans that are used to help keep people from over heating and which are quite noisy.
The W-King is a substantial and fairly heavy speaker compared with some others but still fairly compact compared with the big speakers often used in exercise classes. The sound is very good for the price and it belts it out without any significant distortion that I can hear. I initially bought one but was so impressed I bought another for the full stereo effect which really enhances the sound. Battery life is very good but I (maybe unfairly?) deducted a star as it is not quite as expected. I can get 4 hours of almost full volume before it is reduced to 1 light showing. I usually recharge then. It may well go on for another couple of hours before it is done but I guess maybe not much more. It may play for a lot longer on a lesser volume but I think the battery life claims maybe a bit optimistic. All in all I would recommend highly.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis speaker is amazing! Very LOUD, which is exactly the reason I purchased it. Using the equaliser button makes it even LOUDER! I use for an cardio exercise class with music for motivation in a fairly large hall. Perfect. Guess if you were having a party you may have 2 of these speakers. Linking to my iPhone was easy, picked up the Bluetooth immediately. The only downside is it does not come with a power cable for charging and plugging into an electric point, I have to use my iPhone plug to connect to the cable. Ordered 5amp charger online, but wrong size for the speaker so I haven’t bothered again. If it wasn’t for the lack of power cable I would have given it a 5 star rating.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersThis really is an amazing speaker, I have just played everything from drum n bass, to 80s rock, Bhangra to classical… the clarity is simply astounding, the low bass frequency resonates… it may only be 50watts but you certainly get your money’s woth from this product…the pairing up process was simple….this is a Bluetooth speaker that other major brands should be wary off.. all in all it’s a perfect 10/10

    Fantastic in every way 👍🏻

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersWell, I’m more than happy. Bought two of these, had to send one back due to a rattle but got a replacement which is all good.
As people have said in the reviews, it is bass heavy. One of the places I use this is when I’m taking a bath. Even using an equalizer to turn down the bass it is still there. I don’t know if the passive subs on either end are always on but there always seems to be an underlying bass. For this reason, I can sometimes wake my lad up sleeping in the next room with it, even on low. If you want something to listen to on a medium to low volume and you’re not too worried about bass, this isn’t for you.
Thing is, I didn’t buy them for this. I got them for parties, camping and general times where you need a bit of oompf! I’m no audiophile but the bass does not muddle or over power the rest of the range, it’s just there! I’ve never known a bluetooth speaker to have it like this. One on it’s own is really good, but two together is mental! Me and the wife went camping recently, had one playing on the beach for most of the day and it was superb. But when I got two going in the evening around the fire it blew my mind. Even the wife couldn’t stop saying “Wow!” during the night when certain tunes came on. I also didn’t realise that you don’t just get two speakers playing a duplicate of each other but it turns in to full stereo, one speaker left and one speaker right. Place the speakers 10 or so feet apart and you really appreciate it when something is panning across them. To be quite honest, I’m surprised we didn’t get chucked off the site……but we had a great time!
Can’t comment on the battery life yet as I haven’t had them for long but after around three to four hours they hadn’t even dropped a light so I’m happy so far. Will update if this changes.
If you want something to play music around the house then don’t go for this. But if you want to get crazy around a campfire of get the party started then you’re missing a trick. Get two if you can. I was looking at getting the Aiwa exos 9 or JBL Boombox but couldn’t justify the price of either. Even though two of these are quite pricey I’m so happy I got them. Maybe the next few campsites or neighbours won’t be though 🙂

Update: Had these for a while now and they have been getting plenty of use in the garden during lockdown. The battery on them has been excellent, a full day use on about half volume and it only usually drops one light out of three on the battery indicator. Only ever had one issue where one of them just stuck and wouldn’t connect to anything or turn off. If it ever happens, there is a reset button in the audio jack in the back which you just stick a paper clip in to reset. It’s not the hole on the top! Stick anything in there and you’ll wreck the mic.
If I was buying something to listen to music around the house and I didn’t need it that loud then I wouldn’t go for these. But for what I use them for they are brilliant and one of the best purchases I’ve made in a long time.
If you’re going for it, get two!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI’ve been after a set of speakers/speaker that is portable enough but powerful enough for its purpose. This (after testing many others) works perfectly. It’s slightly heavier/larger than I ideally wanted but I couldn’t get the volume needed from the smaller options. Great battery, great sound and strong Bluetooth connection from a distance.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m no expert on any speaker, so I’m speaking totally from a novices point of view.
I bought this W-KING solely based on the comments mentioned in the review.
On opening the box, I straight away read the instruction; which were very simple, it said to charge the speaker for 3-4 hours…which is sooo hard when your excited to hear the quality! Lol
Once it had charged, I immediately switched it on; set my mobile to BLUETOOTH D8, as instructed, waited for the connection; which was almost instantaneous; chose a track and literally BOOOOOM!!! OH MY GOSH!! It was incredible! The grin on my face nearly tore my jaw line in half! Hahaha! It is just outstanding! There’s more!! Oh yes! There is an equalizer symbol on the end of the controls which I then went on to press….THE BAAAASSSSE!! WOOOOO!!! HECK YEAH!! That was it for me! I was blown away!!
On full pelt (loudest volume) there is no distortion; which matters to people if your using it to entertain your guests. What amazes me more is that I THOUGHT I had it on full pelt until I realized that I could put the volume up further on my mobile….WELL!! OOOOH S WORD!! IT WAS SO LOUD, MY BOYFRIEND AND I COULDN’T HEAR EACH OTHER SPEAKING! WE HAD TO SHOUT OVER THE MUSIC!! I think that gives you an indication of how loud it can go.

Downside, it says the charge can last for 24 hours, but NOT AT FULL PELT!
I used the speaker at FULL PELT from around 11.30am till just after 5pm before it started cutting out along with 1 of the 3 WHITE CHARGING LIGHTS starting to flash (the 3 white lights are an indication that your charger is full, so when it depletes in lights means that the charge is running low), so that’s around 6hrs use…half it’s full capacity, so at a much lower level, I believe that should manage to see you through to the stated 24 hours.

Aesthetically, I think it’s WELL UGLY!! YUK!! It looks so dated like something from the 70’s LOOOL but I chose to forgo that for the quality I knew I was going to get, however, wish there were more fun designs to choose from.

The weight is quite heavy…too heavy for the comfort of carrying it around on your shoulder throughout the day. It feels like a heavy bag of shopping…not comfortable.

It also has an input so you can charge your Android phone and also a USB socket.

Then LASTLY, on top of all those goodies! IT’S WATERPROOF! I personally haven’t tried it and I’m not so keen to do so, but I’m not sure to what degree it can take in moisture so…

So far, well worth the money, but time will truly tell.

Golden Review Award: 27 From Our UsersWow! Having owned a few now (gave away, was stolen, left in a taxi) I can honestly say this baby was worth forking out a little extra for. I’ve had 40w which were questionable- this has to be an honest, solid 50 because it is LOUD. Haven’t put it near it’s full Volume yet. Sound quality is great and the build seems durable as hell. Been using it consistently since yesterday and barely scratched this beaut of a battery. Honestly can’t rate it highly enough and I’m mega fussy and hard to please

Golden Review Award: 37 From Our UsersWas skeptical, but having compaired this to my Sonos One gen 2 speaker… All I can say is WOW! If I was to tell you this thing is louder than the Sonos One… I would not be joking. Not only that, the sounds is comparable! There is a little bit of background noise as with every Bluetooth speaker but the sound range is incredibly. The bass is better than my Sonos One at half the cost.

    Construction is solid, nothing fancy.
Battery life: so far 7 hours at medium to high volume and its on 90%. So I expect the life to be as good is not better than advertised.
No distortion at full volume! What more could you want.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersBought this on Prime, it arrived within 24 hours, well packaged. Thank you

The sound quality is great! You can hear the bass and it sounds nice both indoors and outdoors.

My issue is that it is sold as 50watts. But on the box it says 40watts. I actually bought this one solely due to good ratings and wattage. Bit disappointed that it is advertised as playing louder than it actually does? Or have I misunderstood something? If anyone knows feel free to let me know and I will edit my review. If not, it is a tad cheeky to misinform buyers.

    Great Value Speaker.

Golden Review Award: 73 From Our UsersI’ve been buying speakers of many shapes, sizes and costs for some time now. My goal was to find a portable Bluetooth speaker that could rival my old Bose Sounddock Portable. I can finally stop searching as this is the one. It’s loud, it thumps the bass, and it’s durable and splash proof.
This is however my 2nd speaker. The first I sent back as the bass was rattling something inside. Amazon refunded without question. Thank you! But I’d already ordered my replacement before the refund was issued as I was that impressed with the potential of this thing. One thing you have to do (well me at least) is press the equaliser button each time after powering on. This boosts the sound to just how I like it. You can feel the music and the bassline through the sofa. It is just awesome!
I have a whole collection of speakers and this is finally my favourite portable which probably means I’ll stop buying more now. My best wireless static speaker I have is my Devialet Gold Phantom. That just makes me smile every time it’s doing its thing.
I 100% recommend this W-King speaker to anyone that wants a decent durable portable speaker that has the oomph to impress. Just remember to press that equaliser button.

Golden Review Award: 280 From Our UsersA very loud, non distorting, 50w Bluetooth speaker. Able to power my USB devices as well, this is an all rounder.
If you were to get two of them, they can be connected to be True Wireless Stereo speakers.
I like the fact that you have a USB-C port for charging and there must be one hell of a battery in this to last up to 24 hours (but obviously not at full pelt). IPX5 waterproofing means great for indoors and out! This speaker amazed me, the only comparison I can give you is to my Sonos 3 Speaker, certainly louder than my Sonos 1.
Off to America in the summer, staying at Airbnb’s as well as hotels, so taking for BBQ’s etc.
My Echo Dot is now plugged into this so that I have a decent sound when asking it to play music or the radio.

Very loud and absolutely no distortion!
