Amazing little shredde
I bought this a while ago, it’s works perfectly simple to use.
Shredding Made Easy
Great little shredder, cuts to the finest smallest pieces. Easy to use and move around. With all shredders, please ensure that you use a little shredder oil to keep those teeth from sticking and blockage. The tray is easy to remove and replace.

After paying varying amounts for shredders in the last few years which haven’t lasted well I crossed my fingers when ordering this after reading the reviews. I’ve had this model for about 3 months now and so far, it has behaved and I’m pleased with it. The shredded paper produced is much smaller than my previous cross cut shredders and because of this it is rather slow at taking the paper through. The upside is that the bin doesn’t need emptying quite so often. Although it says 8 sheet, I don’t feed this amount through at once, just usually 4 pages max – I’d rather take longer to shred than run the risk of it jamming. I haven’t shredded anything for longer than five minutes so can’t comment on the apparent running time of 5 minutes.
Easy to operate and easy to empty. Hopefully this will last longer than its predecessors.
Although not being the most technical or mechanically-minded person, when my cross-cutting shredder started making unwholesome noises and reeked of burning rubber, I realised that something was well and truly up.
Hence, acquiring this one. The top was quite heavy and therefore it’s a mercy that my arthritic wrists aren’t trespassed upon — the drawer that slides out to empty the dross is a godsend.
The unworthy thought did strike me that if there was a thunderous knocking at one’s front door by unwelcome people, wanting to view sensitive correspondence, they could be greeted with a smile on one’s face, as the offending documentation was reduced to the consistency of confetti by a machine that emits as much noise as an angel’s flatulence.
Shread well good
Thiz is one of the best ave tryed so far for shreading to a finer cut for security on paper or 400gsm paper thick ie christmas cards that you dont want to keep carn go wrong with this but not for dvds or cds

Good value of money and easy to use I used more than a month still working properly, no more than 5 pages. The rest great product.
Arrived in good time and appears to work well. The casing was broken and I’ve found it impossible to contact Amazon with photos, as I wanted to discuss options regarding a small discount as a pensioner I don’t have the capacity to walk to return it.
I bought this for the CD feature, which it does destroy, it doesn’t shred CD’s but does break them into pieces, The shredder side is ok, but not a cross shredder, it produced long strips of shredding as appeased to confetti style. but it still does the job

This shredder is a great addition to the home office. It’s portable and can handle up to 8 sheets at a time. It’s also full of great features and for the price, it’s a good investment.

A very sturdy product which was bought to replace a shredder that was broken. Is working very well and seems a much better buy which I consider to be value for money. The front loaded receptacle mean I do not have to remove the cutting block when emptying and the fact that it is on castors help enormously

Does the job - well
I must admit to not realising this was a P5 rating (rather than the normal P4. However having used it I find the fine shredding works well and the blades are much less inclined to clog with paper than my previous shredder – in fact they don’t clog at all. It is rated at 8 sheets but as with other shredders it works better with less – it will munch 6 sheets no problem but I tend to do less. It has a duty rating of 5 mins on 40 mins off which is a pain but better than most. Having burnt out the motor on my last shredder I have been sticking to this! Although it seemed a bit expensive At 60 I now think it’s good value .

I love this shredder! I have sorted through lots of old paperwork and enjoyed shredding it, perhaps shredded more than I needed to.
Very easy to use and it’s much easier to empty the bin from the front rather than having to take the top off the shredder to empty it. Shreds paper to thick cardboard and staples.

Does the job and seems robus
Well made, shreds paper into very small pieces, completely unrecognisable pieces, much better than my previous shredder. Bought this because my last two shredders had some plastic cogs which wore out each time. This one seems much more robust and well made. Quiet too.

Does what it says on the tin..
Shredded about 10 years of documents without any issues or overheating. At points I was feeding in unopened envelopes of junk mail etc and it’s just kept going! Shreds are tiny and completely unreadable. Perfect!
Excellent Purchase
We absolutely love this shredder, paid reduced price but definitely worth full price. The wheels are an added bonus, I wasn’t going to put them on as I didn’t think I would need them but glad I put them on because they really are used. I work from home and between work and home paperwork we shred quite a lot, but this shredder doesn’t overheat. It came quickly and well packaged. Would definitely reccomend!!!! I have purchased shredder oil papers to try and prolong the use of this shredder.

Purchased this High-Securit paper shredder and it is great. Low noise while operating. We only put a max of 4 pieces of paper for shredding and it works all right.

Easy to set up. Noticed that shredder was much quieter than my previous one. I have learnt to take the descriptions of shredders with a pinch of salt. My previous one claimed to shred 12 sheets at once, but struggled with 6 sheets. This one managed to shred the claimed 8 sheets easily. The size of the shredded pieces is smaller, making for greater security. My favourite feature is that the basket can be emptied by pulling it out without having to mess about with the heavy shredder head. With my previous shredder, I had to lift the heavy shredder head up, and place it aside. This inevitably resulted in spilling of some of the shredded paper which was still stuck to the mechanism. It was often quite fiddly to replace the shredder head to ensure that the safety microswitch engaged correctly. No hassles like this with this shredder.

Love this so much better than my old one, it is better on noise of the motor, it’s easy to empty and it cuts smaller as well, I couldn’t fault it it’s value for money no doubt we’ll worth it, so much better than my other one which costs more than this one and did not do half that this dose

Quiet and efficie
Shreds and cross-cuts beautifully, anything paper. The bin takes a reasonable amount. We mix the shredding with kitchen waste for composting in a Hotbin so it is recycled.

Not that i’m a specialist in shredders. I don’t know the brand, how good/reliable the shredder would be. Bought based on the specs, size and amazon reviews. Got it right so far.
For home/family occasional use, it is a very good, efficient and value for money shredder, see micro level. Overall good size, nice drawer easy to empty, holds more than expected, quiet,
shreds them in micro size making it impossible to stick back together.

Really pleased with this shredder, easy to use. Have to be careful that bin is completely inside as even if it’s just a little out will not work. Had loads to shred and got through everything really quickly, looks good as well.

This shredder is the daddy shredder to me, it eats many sheets in one go and you can hear it shout “give me more” absolutely worth its salt I’m glad I’ve found one that actually works and at a really reasonable price.

Exactly what I wanted. Very pleased. I have previously purchased big name shredder brands, as Bonsai was not familiar to me. I certainly place them at the top of my pile and have recommended the brand to a family member, who also purchased Bonsai and is also very pleased.
Quietest Shredder I have owned !!
This shredder is the quietest I have ever owned.
It is not the cheapest on the market. However, although very quiet and efficient, the build quality does leave a little to be desired. It fits together well but not sturdily. The front loading compartment gives the impression that it is not always fully engaged.
However, all that being said, this shredder functions well and given that it has a 3 year guarantee (Bought Separately), I wait to see if this shredder can last the time of the guarantee (Unlike my last shredder – Cheaper than this model – came with a 3 year guarantee – lasted 2 years – no guarantee honoured).
I would have given this shredder 5 stars, but the build quality takes it down to 4 stars.
Great shredding
The shredder shreds really well, Shreds paper, Amazon boxes, medicine boxes and more. Only downside I have is that when you take the bin out there is sometimes paper hanging from the output of the blades which ends up in the area where the bin sits.

Auto shutdown a pai
To combat the over heating shutdown, if having a long session of shreading, remove drawer every few minutes and have a fan blowing at it nearby. If does overheat, remove drawer and blast a fan towards the opening.
Should be improved with better ventilation.

We’ve spent so much money on shredders! This one really does do the job well. Yes, like all shredders, it takes time as you need to stop during cool down periods, but you soon get the job done!! The micro cut means the finished shredding takes up much less room in your bin & security wise its spot on.

The Bonsaii is quiet, fast, shreds into very tiny pieces that take up less space for disposal, glides across the floor on its castors and refuses to work if the collection box is just a millimetre from fully closed. It has done a lot of work so far and keeps going for ages if you only put two or three pages through at once. Technically you can put staples through it although the small print says not industrial staples. We have kept staples well away from it. I have bought some oiled sheets to use in it to try to keep it in top condition for as long as possible.

It is not loud and it cuts paper to quite small pieces. Fast enough.

Shred in small pieces
It shreds every thing so small that nobody can reconstruct. I love the basket to pull out I do not have paper shred everywhere.

Don’t be daft and try to do it all in one go, and you should find it quite reliable.

Brilliant shredder not too big not too small. very quiet also
The shredder is very quiet and also shred the the tiniest little bits it is not possible to put this back together so your papertrail is definitely safe. if someone tried to put this back together it would take millions of you it is simply not possible.

Very good product, shreds into tiny pieces BUT – certainly won’t shred 8 pages at a time, just jams up with more than three! So, if you really do want to shred 8 pages at a time, need a larger capacity machine.

A very good shredder that makes it quite impossible to steal data or personal information because of the way it shreds into very small pieces.
I have a Fellowes one but no where as good as this, it also has a large paper collect box which is easily removed.

This is a great little shredder and takes security as seriously as I do.
However DONT try and put 8sheets through it at once ~ 3 or 4 is its real maximum ~ apart from anything else it keeps the machine working at a lower temperature and hence you can shred for longer.
Remember to lubricate regularly, I use oil every two full waste bucket empties.

Not an average shredde
Micro-cut is really impressive. I don’t need my obsolete paperwork shredded to that degree but other people might.

Found this shredder to work really well, easy to assemble and move around. Am impressed with the reverse mode if you accidentally overload and that you can easily remove bin to empty. Would highly recommended.

Shreds really well, only negative would be that the drawer keeps opening and you have to push shut each time before it will go, otherwise works well for a home shredde
Better than expected
Was a bit sceptical at start but after shredding a big bag full of paperwork all I can say is that this product is brilliant and does exactly what it claims.

This was to replace a very poor Shredder which was a lift off top with a safety switch. Just after the warranty ran out the switch failed. So this is a replacement thinking that being a drawer type it would not have the switch. It still has a safety switch but presume this is an EEC Elf and Safety regulation. But Otherwise this is a very good Machine that Shreds very finely and I can find no fault with it at all

Absolutely fantastic. Level of shredding means no chance of ever being able to read document. Perfect. Easy to use. Fast and excellent value for money.
I put this unit through some heavy-duty work straight out of the box and it performed flawlessly. In use it’s a little quieter than my previous shredder. It’s paper sensor detects small lengths of paper regardless of where I insert them along the entry slot (my previous one didn’t). I’m especially impressed by how small the paper shreds/strips are in the bin. I used to mix up the strips from my previous shredder just as an added (and probably unnecessary) precaution. The Bonsaii’s shredded strips are so small I don’t need to do that. Although the unit is relatively light, the wheels at the base are useful in allowing it to be rolled about. The plastic shell is a little flexible rather than stiff and brittle, and that may help avoid damage if the shredder is whacked inadvertently by a vacuum cleaner. The unit is very sensitive to the paper drawer being left open a crack. It needs to be closed firmly or it will not operate. Overall a very effective shredder and good value for money. Note: It’s essential this unit is oiled on a regular basis (every 30 min of running time or twice per month). It will start making squealing and cracking sounds otherwise after a couple of minutes prolonged use, and its performance will deteriorate.

It is an easy to wheel about unit with large see-through window and easily withdrawn bin to make emptying a breeze and at a very reasonable price.
