I first bought one 3 years ago. The wheel broke off, but that was due to me being clumsy. The spool included lasted me almost 3 years. So right before spring I picked it up again, to have it die. So had to buy another one, same model as I have multiple bosch batteries here (and multiple tools). But It just failed it started without a spool, but not with a spool. Already had a replacement spool also tried that, so it wasn't the spool itself. So ordered a new one ... Been using that. Now I couldn't remember which was the new one, so i picked it up. New one worked offcourse, but also the old one ... Turns out it is was the battery. That one battery works for every other tool, but just not as good on this tool. So I have tried all my other batteries, and they all work fine. So now I have 2. Can make a race out of it with the wife ... It works, cuts good. The only flimsy part is the wheel, which I actually do not need. Haven't even put it onto the new one

On first inspection the build quality might appear a little flimsy, but everything on this product is about reduced weight and improving balance, which it achieves.
The head adjustments provide a wide range of cutting and trimming options and because of its lightweight, it can be rotated in use to provide a scything action, ideal for trimming our wildflower meadow.
I’d say I’m getting around 35 minutes cutting from a 2.5ah battery, and between 15 and 20 minutes with a 1.5ah.
Despite being lightweight it’s also proving remarkably robust, tackling nettles and larger weeds with no issues.
Highly impressed.

I use this for the lawn edges next to a long garden wall. Having the two handles gives it a nice balance and a guide wheel makes it very easy to use. The lithium battery is small and lightweight but lasts ages. I have a matching hedge trimmer which I can switch the battery over when the battery does die but it charges in a reasonable time. the cutting spool feeds automatically and a new one just drops straight in. Very pleased.

The best strimmer I have ever used
Really first class design means that it is light weight and so well balanced that I can use it for long periods without any arm or back strain. It also cuts extremely well, the battery lasts longer than expected and the line auto-feed works really well! It is good that the batteries are from the Power for All 18V range as I now have several spares.
In view of all this I can highly recommend it.

Very pleased with this vast improvement over cheaper versions as good height adjsutment and not to heavy. The joy of getting away from cable. Bought without battery as I can use the one from my bosch chain saw so another win. Battery seems to last well.
The only thing I would say is that I did get a bit stuck with assembling probably partly my fault as the instruction book is huge . However Bosch Helpdesk sent me a video link which made it quite easy, would be good if Bosch could detail this link with the original packaging/instructions.

This is definitely a leap over my previous corded piece. The extra handle makes it easy to carry around making it easy to use for bigger jobs. It can also be stored in a smaller shed with its collapsible shaft that makes it compact. The same feature also allows you to size the product to suit most users height. Love it!

This was by far, one of the best investments i made for my garden. Really helps and does a clean job of cutting crass, especially in reaching those awkward nooks and crannies in the corners and sides that a lawnmower cant reach. Very lightweight and easy to handle. Assembling was very easy too. Highly recommend to others as well.

Disappointing
Disappointing build quality. I’ve only used mine about half a dozen times around the edges of a small lawn, and the head of the strimmer already has a lot of unwanted movement on the handle and generally flops about. The rotating head just about works OK, but it feels poorly designed and sloppy. Cannot recommend.
Fadenverbrauch hoch
Ich habe mir dieses Gert ohne Akku gekauft, weil ich schon zwei Akkus einer Bosch-Heckenschere besitze. Das kabellose Arbeiten erleichtert die Anwendung ungemein. Dadurch werde ich fters zum Rasentrimmer greifen, was ich beim kabelgebundenen Gert nicht getan habe. Es entfallen auch die Kraftanstrengung und das Bcken beim Benutzen einer Handscheere.
Die Ergonomie ist hervorragend. Das Gert ist leicht, gut ausbalanciert und lsst sich prima verstauen. Zum Verstauen kann der Handgriff angeklappt werden.
Was mich strt, ist der hohe Fadenverbrauch. Der eine Faden gleitet fast ohne Widerstand bereits durch die Fliehkraft aus der Trommel. Bei meinem kabelgebundenen Rasentrimmer mit zwei Fden von Gardena wollte er dagegen gar nicht von allein aus der Trommel kommen. Den musste ich immer von Hand etwas ziehen. Erfahrungsgem kostet eine neue Spule mit Nylonfaden gutes Geld, deswegen der Abzug in der Bewertung.
Bin sehr positiv überrasch
Die 18v akku Gerte stechen sehr sehr positiv aus der sonst meiner Meinung nach extra unergonomisch und benutzer/wartungsunfreundlichen gestalten bosch grn 220v serie hervor. Der trimmer hat einen hohen Abtrag wesentlich besser als andere trimmer die ich hatte, ist zwar nicht so leistungsstark wie eine motorsense, aber wenn man nur gras mht optimals leistungsgewicht. Luft erstaunlich lang mit akku. Meine Stil elektrosense 220v, mit Testsieger-Resultaten bleibt jetzt stehen da die bosch trotz nur einem faden und ohne umhngegeschirr schneller ist. Aufbau ist etwas klapprig, aberdas ist der diversen verstellung, die ich nicht missen will und voll nutze, geschuldet.

Eine Kleinigkeit wre fr die Zukunft schn aber nicht zwangslufig notwendig.
Wenn man den Trimmer ganz auszieht rastet er nicht ein. Gibt nocheinmal den ein oder anderen Zentimeter dazu wenn das Gestnge am Ende arretieren wrde.
Laufleistung ist ca 30 Minuten (habe nur die kleinen Akkus). Rest Spannung reicht aber noch fr den Laubblser wenn man damit eine kleine Ecke sauber machen mchte.
Fazit: ich bin mit dem Trimmer sehr zufrieden.

Exactly what I expected.
Upgraded from the ART26 trimmer which uses replaceable blades. This unit works exactly as I expected with great ergonomic control, power to cut through grass and edging. I found the wheel attachment cumbersome and obstructed my view when trying to do edging so I removed it completely.
Works with my existing batteries and charger from the POWER4ALL 18V range. Highly recommended.

La puissance des batteries est trs bonne. Pour la dure je ne sais pas mais j’ai fait plus de 50 m de bordures fournies et la batterie tait encore efficace. D’un point de vue ergonomique c’est super, on l’utilise par plaisir.

Perfect for our medium garden. Can do around 4 cuts before it needs a recharge. Even took it to the in-laws as theirs had broke. Covered their large garden no problem and still didn’t need charging.

My neighbour told me about this product so I bought one and I love, love love it. I have arthritic hands, but this is lightweight and easy to use. No messing, just pick it up and go. I have big uneven grassy/weedy banks in the garden and this deals with it all easily. I bought an extra battery, which I would recommend you do, so when the battery goes after 30 minutes you can put it on charge and use the second. Batteries are quick to charge. This is an excellent product. I highly recommend it. My husband thinks it is small for him, but for a lightweight like me it is perfect.

Ein echt tolles Produkt. Akku rein und loslegen. Mal zwischendurch beim Rasen mhen die Kanten und sonstigen engen Stellen trimmen ohne das ein Kabel im Weg ist. So macht Gartenpflege noch mehr Spa.

I highly recommend all Bosch products especially the all 4 one range, great idea to be able to use one battery for all products, it’s light enough not to need a harness, you can use the 1.5 batteries but only last about 20 mins from full charge, recommend the 2.0 or 2.5 amp, strong, sturdy, and just works great!!

Ergonomischer Trimme
Der Rasentrimmer ist ergonomisch sehr gut berlegt. Die Lnge reicht auch fr grere Menschen (ich bin 187 cm). Er ist vielfltig einstellbar und wertig.
Er schneidet mit einem stabilen, selbstnachfhrenden Faden, die Handhabung der Fadenspuhle ist simpel und ein Werkzeug wird nicht bentigt.
Problemlos wird die Rasenkannte getrimmt. Das Gert kommt aber auch mit migem Wiesenbewuchs klar. Die Grenze ist bei dichtem Grass erreicht, hier prgelt der Faden ohne richtigen Schnitt auf das Grnzeug ein. Das ist dann aber auch schon eher etwas fr einen Freischneider.
Die Laufleistung ist akkuabhngig. Ich verwende vorzugsweise einen groen Akku und schaffe problemlos eine halbe Stunde oder mehr.
Gutes Kombigerä
Super Kombigert wenn man bereits ein Bosch-Akkugert besitzt (z.B. Bohrmaschine). Dann stimmt auch das Preisleistungsverhltnis. Sowohl fr kurze als auch lange Einstze geeignet, hngt von den eingesetzten Akkus ab. Mit einem 1,5 Ah Akku ist das Gert ca. 1 Stunde einsatzbereit. Ab dann empfehlen sich Akkus mit mehr Kapazitt oder ein Wechselakku.

A really well designed tool, very easy to use and control and the battery life is excellent – a great buy.
I run out before the battery.
Light easy to use. Powerful enough for normal garden usage. It will tackle longer grass but no to brush cutting. Edger works well and three angles of cut very useful. Battery lasts a long time. Recharges fairly quickly with an 80% charge indication.
So not cheap but it is a good product.

Hat viele Griffe und verstellbaren Kopf, so dass man immer die richtige Position fr jeden Winkel im Garten findet. Der Akku wird recht schnell verbraucht (im Vergleich zu der Bosch Heckenschere), ist aber bei Nutzung von 2 Akkus kein Problem.

das gelieferte Produkt wurde im Original Karton vom Amazon Zustelldienst wie die Fotos es beweisen mit sehr starker Beschdigung geliefert (Karton aufgerissen,aufgeschlitzt) das Produkt (Rasentrimmer) und deren Zubehrteile waren vollstndig und zum Glck nicht beschdigt, der Bosch- Rasentrimmer funktioniert gut und bin mit diesem Produkt sehr zufrieden, kann ich zum Kauf weiterempfehlen.
Anmerkung: beim Versand sollte darauf geachtet werden das die Ware im Original Karton zustzlich noch in einem Versandpaket verpackt und versand wird, um solche Transportschden oder sogar Schden an der Ware zu vermeiden.

j’ai achet cet article pour tailler autour des arbres et de la maison
j’ai une dbroussailleuse thermique, lourde porter, difficile dmarrer, et dont il faut ajuster le fil trs souvent, ce qui est pnible
je suis enchant de ce nouvel outil qui est lger, maniable, et qui est trs efficace mme pour couper des herbes hautes ou des petites branches – j’ai un terrain de plus de 2000 m2 donc y’a de quoi faire
bonne tenue en main sans faire mal au dos et le fil s’ajuste automatiquement ce qui est super ( voir avec du fil recharg si cela fonctionne aussi bien )
en plus elle est silencieuse ( plus que celle de mon voisin qui vient d’en acheter une autre via une promo)
sels bmols : le manche pourrait tre plus long et la batterie ne tient pas assez de temps ( 20 mn si l’on force un peu ) mais la recharge est rapide

Le montage de la coque de protection se fait en moins d’une minute l’aide d’un petit tournevis.
J’ai choisi ce modle vendu sans batterie car tant dtenteur d’une perceuse Bosch j’avais dj 2 batteries et un chargeur compatible.

La machine lgre, permet un travail trs prcis en vitant d’abmer mes plants de lgumes.
Je l’utilise aussi pour dsherber le pieds de mes arbres fruitiers et bien sr pour la finition des tontes de gazon.
Le changement de fil se fait trs simplement.
L’autonomie d’une batterie est d’une vingtaine de minutes.
En rsum c’est un outil trs performant que je recommande vivement.

Great product works really well but would recommend getting the larger battery if you have a lot of work to do. Luckily I have a second battery which was needed to complete ‘a bit’ more than edging my large garden.

quality have had bosch before good products
i hate the instruction booklet,it has all the languages at the front,the diagrams at the back they do not pull out,so you constantly go back and forward,infuriating

Enfin libéré du fil!
Trs bien. Enfin libr du fil et de la rallonge lectrique, cependant un peu moins puissant qu’un produit sur secteur. a change la vie tout de mme.
Prvoir une seconde batterie charge car la premire tient environ 30 mn.

Habe es meiner Nachbarin ausgeliehen, welche auch nicht mehr die jngste oder strkste ist. Fazit: Sie kauft sich jetzt genau das selbe!
Gewicht und Handhabe sind Top!
Ist nicht nur fr Kanten geeignet. Ich habe einen groen Bereich hinter meinem Gartenhaus komplett nur damit gemht und musste nicht ein Mal das Schneideband lnger ziehen.
Bei Arbeiten an Kanten ist es natrlich trotzdem notwendig ab und zu das Band wieder lnger zu machen. Aber Bosch hat sich zum Glck ein cleveres und schnelles System dafr ausgedacht.
Fazit: Ich kann dieses Kantenschneider nur empfehlen!

Me gusta la ligereza por su poco peso. Muy sencillo y delicado y las bateras todava son muy caras. Pero es muy cmodo.

This is heavier than expected but that is balanced by it being easy to hold. It appears to be strongly made and robust and deals with thich long grass. The instructions could be improved. The battery is small and charges quickly.

This is a great gardening Tool.
I have only owned two strimmers this is the second. My first Bosch is getting a bit old so I finally replaced it. This one is even better. Very easy to use and strimmed my front and back garden on one charge easily. Battery recharged quickly making it ready for any more jobs but I’ll have to wait for the grass to grow back.
Excellent product, Bosch does not disappoint.
Rasentrimmer Akku
Sehr leicht und gut bedienbar. Laufleistung ist entsprechend der Akkuleistung wie beschrieben. Das Bosch Akkusystem ist TOP. Durch die verschiedenen Gerte knnen die Akkus besser ausgelastet werden. Habe 3 verschiedene Gerte. Werde das System sicher um eine Heckenschere erweitern.
Für das Geld ok aber kein Wahnsinnsgerä
Klar das kein Profigert ist! Aber fr den Preis ist der Trimmer absolut ok. Das Schneidwerk knnte etwas stabiler sein. Aber zum auenrum mhen und die Kanten putzen ist der Trimmer ok.

Super Handling und Schnittergebnis
Ich hatte mir extra diesen Rasentrimmer aus der Bosch-Familie gekauft, da ich bereits 2 Akkus fr verschiedene Gerte habe.
Das Gert habe ich nun vor jedem Rasenmhen im Einsatz und bin sowohl vom Ergebnis und der Handhabung begeistert. Endlich mal kein lstiges Nachstellen des Faden und da der Trimmer super am Unterarm liegt, ist das Arbeiten echt entspannt.
Also absolute Kaufempfehlung

Perfect for a modest garden. Easy to assemble and use. Well balanced and lightweights. Battery more than efficient and quick to recharge. So far the best I’ve come across (4th)
