This is a better bag than that originally with the shredder. It is well made, sturdy and effectively collects a great deal of chippings.
Nice compact unit for shredding general garden waste. I was a little disappointed it didn’t come with a collecting bag but I found a large tub bucket that fit neatly underneath.
On first use the machine did well
It was a bit fiddly to put together. My old fingers aren’t as good as they used to be.
It’s only been used once and it did an impressive job. Look forward to the weather improving to get it out again.
Fitted cable is not long so an extension is required to get it close to the bushes.
We wish we had bought one of these years ago! We have a fairly big garden, with several trees and a lot of shrubs, and after pruning, we used to have a lot of branches to dispose of. This Bosch shredder is sturdy and works extremely well. It saves us an awful lot of work and is very easy to use. It is heavy, but has two wheels which makes it a little easier to move, but we use it near the electric point in our garage and carry the prunings to it, rather than try to wheel it too far. Works a treat. So pleased with our purchase. Pricey in comparison with others, but worth the extra money.
I bought this to help manage a medium size garden and it’s just great.
It does work pretty smoothly and I can process stuff quickly and getting nice mulch in the end.
I think that it could/should feature a way to secure a bag to receive the cuttings: I don’t see anything to do that and bags can slip from under the device while working with it.
Absolute Beast - cuts fibres into small lengths, cuts branches up to the size that fits into chunks
Chews though everything – we especially wanted it to handle fibrous material which it did really well, as well as handling branches and leaves. The reverse function clears the rare jammed situation, and I’ve once had to take the chute off to deal with a really bad jam, but this is explained well in the manual and is part of the designed jam-clearing process. Put a LOT of material through it over the course of probably 30hours so far, very easy and safe to use. Slight gripe that its a bit narrow/top heavy so the wheels could do with being wider set, but would 100% recommend as fit for function. Self-sharpening mechanism works well.

Careful adjustment gives great results
Our garden is not large but has fast-growing hedges and shrubs. This means we have a mix of soft green and woody growth which needs cutting back every year. Rather than call in someone to deal with our backlog, we opted for this model because it does both and we needed something robust. After a few hours work, and by monitoring the adjustment carefully, we have many bags of mulch we can use on the garden for a variety of purposes. It helped that we bought high quality loppers at the same time. So far we are very satisfied with our purchase.
Super efficient shredde
We have a large vegetable garden as well as a big garden so it generates a lot of prunings and stalks that need disposing of. I’ve just upgraded my compost bins so they’re large enough to cope with the volume so having a shredder to chip everything up small enough to compost quickly was essential. I was going to buy the Stihl domestic shredder but no-one had any stock for a few months so I looked around for the next best thing. The Bosch had good online reviews and for the price its going to be a good investment. It works a treat IF you push soft cuttings through SLOWLY but it handles woodier cuttings up to 30mm pretty well. I would have liked a wider throat to load and of course there are those available as expensive petrol shredders but all round I’m pleased with how it handles anything we cut and if it does jam up, as it inevitably does when shredding softer stuff, its easy to remove the front cover and clean out around the blades. Good safety devices, the machine can’t run with the cover off and handy push STOP button if anything gets jammed.
Little and large the old defunct AXT Rapid 2200 we have had for decades, often loaned out to friends for years. The aluminium cutter block 157 piccy 3 broke. Can get new delivered 194 so a no brainer parting ways. Works by crushing is not ‘impact’
Eventually decided on the AXT25 TC as it had benefits over the old AXT2200 in regards storage, capacity and ability to chomp through other materials such as cardboard and plastics.
Most of the negative comments are about its dire cutting and todays society, well its common sense to adjust you dont need a manual to tell you to even though it tells you to go figure.
2nd piccy is as it comes, though should have took another piccy feeding it back in again after adjusting.
3rd piccy shows a pile about 5ft tall x 6ft x 12 ft long bushes and twigs munched down to fill the green bin. Some on the top is dried leaves.
In all a very good home shredder that you have to use the bin provided, though is a lot larger than most and only clogs when it needs emptying.
Have only been able to feed in up to 31mm dia, it wont feed above that if the twigs curved, the hopper puts pay to that. Around that diameter you will hear the motor change note. I would be weary of it cutting above 40mm unless soft wood.
Since the other AXT2200 packed up, first thing we did was feed back in this time to the AXT25TC. Instead of crushed wood as long as 14″ the AXT25TC cut it approx 12mm thick.
AXT25TC works by a larger hollow cone shaped ‘cutter’ rubbing up against a similar aluminium but tapered plate, hence why the debris is a certain size and small stuff falls through the cone.
This now is the only Bosch item working i possess, all the dozens of others have long packed up including Pro tools.
In all very expensive though a good shredder that infringes on more powerfull petrol driven shredders.

Really good for fresh branches that you can ‘lop’ with long handled pruners – that’s 25 mm or an inch. It will shred bigger but why bother? Bigger than that size can go on the fire or the back of the car to the tip. They burn without much nuisance smoke as no leaves and could always be used as fuel for a friends burner – if you have a chainsaw to log them . . .
The problem with branches is the side branches. This shredder has a gearstick mesh shaped guard which stops your fingers going into the moving blades. This means that using the loppers you need to trim side branches to fit depending on how well they bend. This makes feeding the shredder a continuous job. My pile from a felled hawthorn tree looked daunting but I got through in a couple of hours to mulch on the compost heap and a neat pile of logs for a fire. I’ll try and upload photos. I’m pleased!
Brilliant, great quality and value for money
I was a bit concerned about this product because of previous reviews and how it would perform but it’s completely brilliant. Easy to put together (you only need to put on the wheels) and you’re ready to go. Completely gobbles up all types of branches, I turned a massive pile of branches into wood mulch that I’ve used as decorative bark clippings within 30 mins. I can’t speak highly enough of this product.
An Excellent Shredde
This machine is quiet compared to the cheaper ones on the market. I didn’t need ear defenders. It deals with branches up to 2ins diameter. It hasn’t jammed and it’s throughput is the quickest I’ve used.
However, it is heavy and not easy to move. I have steps up to my shed and it is difficult getting into it’s working place. The wheels seem to be too small and there isn’t a handle to push or pull it. A bad design as far as mobility goes.
I do value it as a shredder and I am pleased with it’s performance. When the warranty is up I will put bigger trolley wheels on it and devise a handle. Then it will be perfect.
After the old Al-ko shredder that I’d had for 10+ years died, I was in the market for a new one. I rarely purchase on impulse, preferring to to do plenty of research first. This was no different.There were one or two poor reviews for this, and I always read the negatives, as I find the glowing positive reviews are often based on a single use (or even worse, what it looks like without any use!) However, the positives far outweighed the negatives and seemed genuine, so I decided to bite the bullet.
This review is based upon 3 years of fairly light use. I’d say it gets a run-out around three or four times a year. I agree it’s a lot of cash for such light use, but the key is, it earns it’s keep when needed. My old Al-ko wasn’t really man enough to tackle branches over 20mm. I’d spend more time clearing blockages from the unit than actually shredding. (My fault for trying to do things too quickly and overloading it)
Before I tell you how good the AX25 TC is, I think I should clear a small point up. In the marketing text, it states this will deal with green waste. Now please do not equate “green waste” with “weeds”. Green waste refers to freshly cut branches, not bunches of stinging nettles. This unit will not do a great job on soft waste. Give it the stuff it was designed for and you’ll see what it can do.
I reluctantly had to take down a medium sized oak tree and after saving what I could for firewood, I was left with several very large piles of smaller branches. This would have been a mammoth task using my old shredder with a lot of the branches needing to be trimmed. The thicker ones wouldn’t go through and would need to be manually cut into short pieces for disposal/composting. A job such as this would be a very good test for my new acquisition. The first branch I fed in was chewed up in seconds, as was the second. Growing in confidence, I decided to give the AX a real test and selected a particularly bushy off-cut with a base diameter of at least 40mm (sorry, I didn’t measure it) with multiple branches and sub-branches coming off the main stem. I fed it into the maw of the AX and watched in awe as it munched through the complete off-cut without a hiccup. It continued performing at this level and I completed the branch disposal operation in a couple of half-day stints – far quicker than anticipated.
Now I’d be lying if I said it has dealt with everything I’ve thrown at it. The odd item has jammed and activated the auto-stop, causing me to use the reverse button, but that’s invariably been down to me attempting to force the shredder to digest a branch union that way exceeded the 40mm max size
It was in use again last weekend, dealing with an overgrown leylandii offcuts (true green waste!) with no complaints, which prompted me to write this review. One big plus point is it doesn’t rely on having razor sharp edges to work. Rotary shredders rely on their cutting blades being sharp to work as expected. It is so easy to blunt them (when you fail to completely clean a root for example.) I haven’t noticed any significant degradation in shredding performance since I’ve been using the AX25
The only real negative I can find, is it’s weight distribution. You have to be careful when wheeling it over uneven ground as it has a distinct tendency to tip. Mine has some of the external plastic broken when I was unable to save it from crunching into the ground…
So, to summarise. If you want to shred weeds, lay them on the grass and run a rotary mower over them. If you need to deal with woody garden waste, The AX25 TC is simply brilliant. It’s powerful, reliable and will reduce a formidable heap of woody waste to a pile of chippings with ease. I wouldn’t be without it.
Nom nom nom - this thing loves to be fed
This chipper, or as it is known in the house The Chopperizer, tackles anything you chuck at it. By anything I do mean any kind of branches, leaves or grasses (not mown lawn but that is already chopped so why would you do that?)
The only times I have thought it’s not doing so well is because the chopped material has built up underneath the cutter output. A little shake of the collecting box and you can keep going. Not every branch is chopped, if it’s quite soft it can just keep squeezed and bent into the output. I cleared a lot of thorn bushes and newer growth was stubborn. However it still achieved what I wanted, which was a reduction of volume and the opportunity to either fit more material in my garden waste bin or composting bin. This means we can clear and manage more of the garden at a time without having to stop due to lack of space.
I also have to say that it’s pretty quiet for what it is doing, the most noise coming from when you turn it off and the speed reduces to a halt (gears and all that) but it’s not noisy at all. In fact it really has the most satisfying chomp chomp when you feed it.
Final thoughts on manoeuvrability… yes it’s heavy and awkward but I didn’t find it difficult to move around so long as you don’t lift it too much otherwise the top-heavy nature of it means it’ll want to up-end itself. I think Bosch could have helped by providing easier grab points but I’ve only ever moved it around with the top feeder bit in the collection box – maybe I’m supposed to use that handle and now I think about it…. oops perhaps they did think of it. Will have to try next time! Whilst I’m sure moving it around might be important or harder for some, once it’s in position it really does a great job so I wouldn’t mark it down on that basis.
Very efficient shredder that can deal with quite large pieces of material.
I have moved house to a garden that has been neglected for a while. The shredder is coping with more than two years growth on shrubs and trees very efficiently, saving many trips to the tip.

bought to replace another that I had, these things are worth their weight if you have trees and bushes. Soon pays for itself and immense satisfaction watching it work. Free mulch for the garden as well!
Good Item
The shredder is surprisingly powerful and seems to work better on larger branches. The noise is minimal and it’s very easy to set up. All in all it’s positive all round.

Overall a good machine
I use it to deal with copious green garden waste, too large to compost and too green to burn.
Positives:
– Much quieter than I’d expected
– No significant blockages. It works best when there’s a branch that can be picked up by the cutters. Any leafy build up can be easily cleared by pushing a branch through (side branches drag the build-up through
– The collection box is a good size, big enough so it doesn’t fill too quickly and not so large it’s awkward to transport
Negatives:
– The machine is quite heavy and the pulling handle is the same width as the machine, which is quite narrow for manoeuvering over rough sloping ground
– The shredded material is a bit larger than I’d expected and will take some time to compost.
– The feeder is fine for branches, but rather shallow and narrow for leafy handfuls. A removeable funnel would have been handy
Digests thick branches with ease
I bought this shredder after a lot of research and reading the various helpful reviews from other users and watching a couple of You Tube videos of the shredder in action.
I have been impressed with the power and its ability to digest the larger branched with ease. An added bonus is that it is not nearly as noisy as our last high speed shredder.
Two points that I really like. The reverse action which instantly releases any jammed material and the large plastic box that slides underneath to catch the shredded material which is easy to remove to empty.
Be warned though, this is a heavy machine and although it is on wheels does require care moving around the garden to avoid tipping it over.
Overall very satisfied and if you register with Bosch you get a 3 year warranty.

This is an excellent product, I decided to go for something more expensive as I wanted one that would not only do the job but also do it quietly and this item did not disappoint, it got through all my fake orange (8 to 10ft) and other large shrubbery with ease. This item took a morning to do what I had to do by hand in 2 day’s last year cause my other shredder couldn’t a, handle the job and b, too noisy, this item is not only quiet, it’s easy to use and easy to unclog greenery if needed. Its got good safety features and the bucket can hold its own, you won’t be disappointed., its worth the extra money

Limited usefulness by not breaking twigs
I have owned a Bosch AXT Rapid shredder for >10 years; this has a rotating blade but of late the centre mount had become unstable, meaning it didn’t keep a wide enough opening for cutting. With a large quantity of hedge trimming to shred, I needed something to quickly shift the volume of material. The AXT 25D was certainly helpful and safe to use with the constraint of not chopping narrow twigs. I also will need to learn how much to alter settings to fully chop through the larger stems as well. I require suitably small pieces for incorporating into a compost mix or for mulch. Overall satisfactory with the caveat of needing a second shredder for small pieces, but that also takes more time to finish the task. I wonder if it’s possible to design a combined crushing action with a cutting blade?

The only criticism is the machine is quite top heavy. It’s sturdy and stable in use, but care must be made when moving the shredder on its narrow track wheels. I’ve had cheaper shredders that would clog, both bladed and rotor system with revolving cogs. This Bosch product uses a turbine that rarely jams and can take almost any type of garden waste. I considered a petrol chipper which would have been far more expensive and overkill for the average sized garden. I can recommend this machine for anyone that has had a cheaper alternative product before, or a first time buyer; you won’t be disappointed. Occasionally you may need to use the supplied plastic “wedge” to compact loose material, but overall this is an excellent product.

Really capable shredder. Munches bamboo and reasonably sized sticks all day. My garden is a fair size and I wondered if I would need a petrol shredder but this is more than sufficient. Doesn’t clog easily and even after quite a few weeks of heavy use is immaculate. 300+ or so of real value.

Not quick but does do the job
It took 3 minutes to remove from the box and to assemble, no nuts, bolts or screws to fit, just click the top on and tighten the hand knob. Much quieter than I expected. Easy to use jyst don’t do it too fas

Good bit of kit this
This a good wood chipper,goes through fairly thick branches no bother,easy to assemble,is fairly heavy and the wood chips build up in one bit of the basket so have to keep stopping and tip it a bit to level it out,have cut a lot of hedge so have plenty to go through and it’s not the quickest but overall really happy with it,definitely worth a buy

This a good wood chipper,goes through fairly thick branches no bother,easy to assemble,is fairly heavy and the wood chips build up in one bit of the basket so have to keep stopping and tip it a bit to level it out,have cut a lot of hedge so have plenty to go through and it’s not the quickest but overall really happy with it,definitely worth a buy

We have many trees and hedges so a good shredder is essential to reduce the cuttings. This does the job really well.

The cutting action is very good for garden foliage, bushes and tree. The adjustment for maintaining a good cutting action is also easy to use. Having read other reviews and watching some user videos it was a good choice and I’m looking forward to many years of shredding!!

Fantastic for compost.
This shredder is wonderful for shredding leaves and twigs as it converts it into a lovely fine mush so it decomposes very quickly and is so much easier to turn and allow oxygen into the heap.
Unfortunately it comes without a hopper and you are unable to buy one. However, I purchased a plastic box, cut a hole in the bottom and strapped it to the shredder. And voila, I have a hopper!

I was worried about using this, but it is safe as long as you are careful and follow the instructions. Use protective head gear and gloves. Not to noisy on neighbours. Great piece of equipment.

Having purchased the shredder about 2 months ago, I gave it its first heavy use earlier this week. Cuttings from a 50 metre hedge, runner beans, brassica stalks and general autumn garden waste. It dealt with all without problem and no major clogs. It preferred more woody stuff and if slight clogging occurred with more leafy stuff, running a thicker piece through soon cleared it
It was slightly noisy, but this was not too irritable.

Decent shredder for a large garde
We have about an acre of garden with numerous trees, shrubs and hedges. Even with six full size garden wheelie bins to fill fortnightly, we always have a large surplus of garden waste from work such as hedge trimming. This shredder has so far done a good job with a large amount of material including some long and thick cuttings. It seems powerful and reliable. I have only had to remove a blockage once so far. I would echo other reviewers comments that it doesn’t work at a fast rate, so you do need to be patient if you are feeding through a large amount of material. I also agree that it has a tendency to topple over when you move it. Overall though, I would say it’s a worthwhile investment if you regularly have shrub and tree cuttings to dispose of.

Brilliant! makes short work of a normally lengthy time cutting up plant matter by hand to put into to the garden waste bin or having to drive to the recycling tip. This takes up much less space after cutting, so makes garden pruning easier all round. Love it!!

Not bad
I had an Alko before this and it was much more tolerant of bulky material and harder to jam that said it was awkward to move. I just wish the blades stayed sharp longe
it does its job
i needed a chipper and this was really all i could afford to buy. i wasnt very confident because some of the reviews were very negative. i can honestly say after two days use i have to be happy with it. true it says it ll deal with 40 mm of branch but you d need to be a mental case to even try that. so i didnt and it worked perfectly.
im not sure if the blade is reversible or not, but i bought a sharpener just in case it became blunt quickly. it has lost its edge a little but it was hard at work for two days and i wont complain about it. as long as you clear debris it works well. id say value for money. id recommend it! the people who have had problems will be the people who tried to put logs in it. if you keep to 20 mm maybe 30 mm at a push it works great 20 and 30 mm are decent size branches.
Quiet and efficient but not the easiest to move.
Based on multiple reviews I went ahead and purchased this item and have now spent a full day using it. It is a lot quieter than our previous chipper and does a great job of chipping everything we have put through it from leafy material to thick branches to dead and tough branches. It is easy to use and can be stored quite easily.
My only issue is manouverability. It is very top heavy and has a narrow wheel base so great care has to be taken when moving it about or it will fall over. It is a weighty item so once it is on its side, it does take some effort to stand it up again!
Munches well
Munches large diameter branches. Shreds leaves. Very soft branches can clog it slightly. Pusher was very useful. Very new leaves in quantity require a bit more patience but it does cope well eventually.
Overall extremely pleased with this product. Result made satisfactory mulching material.

Munches well, no jamming
I bought this to save me taking large volumes of garden waste to the tip and in that respect it has worked well. What would have been 6 large bags I managed to condense into 2 wheelie bins.
I had hoped that it would produce a fine mulch to put on the garden and in that respect I was disappointed because in my opinion the resulting chippings are too coarse.
The reply good points are that:
It doesn’t jam. I munched its way through loads of garden waste without jamming once.
It’s quiet compared to the impact shredder I used to have.
It’s quite easy to move, although fairly heavy.
It’s very easy to store because the hopper comes off and I’m storing mine under a bench in the shed.
The less good ponts are:
While it’s very good at munching branches etc (it just pulls them through) it’s less effective on leaves and conifer clipping which pass through almost unscathed, despite careful adjustment of the cutting blade.
All in all I’m pretty satisfied with it, especially at the heavily discounted price I paid on Amazon.
Effective with the 'harder core' waste.
Never owned a shredder before. Used for the first time yesterday. It was quite an expensive purchase ahead of cheaper versions from the same manufacturer and others. It’s pretty heavy with the weight largely at the rear of the machine — thus a tendency to topple backwards when lifted at the front to move it on its wheels. Also generally not easy to lift up & down (e.g. in and out of a shed and up and down steps). It needs to be on a level surface (at least it did for me) to operate which ruled out our rear lawn which slopes downwards. I put it on the patio in the end.
It seemed very effective with the woodier, stubborn cuttings — even the large and long thorny pieces though it’s better when the cuttings are broadly ‘vertical’, less so with uneven shapes e.g. where you’ve cut at an angle. I didn’t find it so effective with softer, leafier cuttings — these blocked it more than once. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of noise — I didn’t find this a problem. Eye protection is recommended — the longer side branches can swish around a bit which can be a hazard. Only used once so far but from what I’ve seen it’s an effective machine which mulches the tougher garden waste down into small pieces collected in a box for much more convenient disposal.

When my Bosch AXT Rapid died on me I upgraded to this one. Easy to use straight out of the box. It’s quieter, more powerful and easier to use than the other one. I’m delighted with it, it makes a tedious job easy.

I’m impressed with the performance of this garden shredder. The blades rotate slowly and small branches up to about a thumbs width self feed very well once started. It handled all my hedge and shrub cuttings faultlessly over about 2 hours. The shredded items collected in the built in hopper, which was easy to tip into garden waste bags. I definitely recommend this item.

Or old Bosch shredder gave up the ghost a while back, so we got this bigger one. It copes very well with all the wood that we throw at it. Sometimes struggles with soft leaves and plants but they do go through OK if you’re also shredding branches.

Shredded Sweet!
This shredder is amazing. I have a rotating blade shredder which is ok for very straight stuff but it still needs me to keep it aligned to feed in. This is a total beast and just swallows up anything you shove in. We have an annual purge of the neighbour’s leylandii and we used to have to trim all the side shoots off the felled branches. We just chuck it in and it’s rhythmically devoured with an occasional twist to realign. Even 2 people can work it at the same time. Over 400 is a bit steep but I waited until the camels told me it was around 300 and bought it immediately. It’s really well made – all the important bits are alloy/steel.

Good shredde
Shreds branches up to the thickness of my thumb (1”) without issue. Works for cutting up Leylandii and other hedge branches. Obviously not for small green shoots or leaves. Been using the shredder for months and happy with it. I feed the branches individually using them to shift any remnants in the feeder. Ref paddle fine for clearing blocked items while I’m use and if the machine stops opening the lid and clearing out is simple. Good product !

Brilliant shredder, shreds anything!
This is the best shredder I’ve had, it chews through anything. Bit hard to manoeuvre it but the performance outweighs that.

Munches big things, dislikes little things
Munches nicely through copious amounts of buddleja making lots of lovely clippings. Same with other large woody shrubs. When it came to the fuchsia, the little leaves caused it to have a complete fit and needed to be taken to bits and clear. Definitely worth getting but my top tips are to wait until it’s finished chewing before putting the next thing through and, if you’ve got little leaved plants, put some big leaved plants in to clear out the innards
Oh and if you’re going to stick 9 foot brambles in it, the clippings are still spikey!!!
I have used garden shredders before. I initially had one of the chipper types which was pretty useless for anything but dried woody stuff. Up until recently I was using a Bosch AXT1600 which provided many years of faithful service. The AXT1600 was a screw crush cut system where the crusher screw would drag the cuttings onto the cutter. This was a big improvement and could handle the softer type cuttings a lot better as long as you limited the amount and mixed up things and used the woodier types to drag down the softer stuff.
The AXT25tc uses a different system of a rotating cutters against a metal plate. The system handles softer stuff really well and is a big improvement and chops up all nicely. I would recommend the shredder to all.
The only negatives I can add are that when the shredder arived the cutting head was supposed to be adjusted- well it needed more adjustment to work properly- not a big thing but for this price…
Also the speed of shredding is not that fast. My previous AXT 1600 when it grabbed a branch it would just pull the whole thing down very quickly. The 25 tc is more of a gravity feed so a bit slower although the less messing with softer stuff brings that overall speed back up. Plus I should add that the pusher down tool actually does work on this shredder whereas the AXT1600 tool was more use as a puller out of stuck stuff to clear the funnel as there was no way to get anywhere near the cutting head. The cutting head on the 25tc is very accessible and any blocks would be easy to clear.

Great shredder does what you would expect. Disappointed that I had to buy the bag it fills separately, and it wasn’t cheap or a good fit. Come on Bosch, don’t be tight.

Excellent, quiet shredde
It works really well except for 30mm or so thick soft woody stuff that can get stuck between the blades of the “turbine” cutter. Then you have disassemble and knock them out. I’ve had to resort to a drill to make the wood easier to knock out. It stores away quite small too.

One of those 'good' purchases
This is spinning blade shredder, with a two edged blade mounted on a rotating plate. I was unsure how effective the machine would be for shredding all manner of twigs and branches from garden tress and shrubs. I needn’t have worried – it’s very impressive and in general shreds everything surprisingly small. Very fine twigs sometimes do not shred so well but that’s not really a problem. When the blade becomes dull it can be turned over to the second side and it’s like new again. Shredding 35mm branches, trimmed to feed through the slot, has not been a problem at all and it produces nice fine chips. Very easy to clean inside after use and so far I’ve not had it jam on me. Like all shredders it is quite noisy, so inexpensive ear defenders are a good investment, together with eye protectors and garden gloves!
Addendum:
Used ‘in earnest’ over a weekend to clear debris from tree prunings. Truly a superb piece of kit and a brilliant piece of design. Possibly the best single appliance of any kind that I have ever had!

Following the instructions I can’t see any real problems and expect this unit to provide great service for sone time.
The noise level is very reasonable – much lower than any other shredder I had come across and it just simply chomps its way through long branches.
With care, it is quite easy to move around & it couldn’t be easier to use.

(I can’t get a skip near the house.) It took the lot without fault, except for one branch too dense. The guide holes and tool are well designed, the motor has excellent torque and the combination of blade and drum works. I’m very pleased to have bought this!

This is probably one of the best shredder out there. I have used it a few times and while it still gets blocked with loose material it is so easy to clear. It is not very easy to move about and sometimes fails over when moved, but not a problem .
