Despite some negative reviews on here I decided to give it a go anyways. Not many other kettles had a temperature function which I wanted for green tea and coffee. The ones which did were either very expensive or cheap with awful reviews.

Temperate function works really well and ‘keep warm’ function is nice too.

Love that the kettle is insulted and you can touch the outside of it – even when boiled to 100 (if you so desired). This serves a dual purpose; prevents accidental burns and keeps the water hotter for significantly longer (especially compared to my previous glass kettle).

Seen some reviews that it’s noisy but compared to previous kettles, it’s quieter by a fair margin. I don’t know what you expect when you’re boiling water?! The beep when boiled is loud but again, it’s meant to be…?

The base and button are very nice and intuitive.

In terms of longevity, I cannot comment as I’ve only had it over a week but so far so good.

The kettle is a mile away from our old Morphy Rich. However, couple of things: When you fill you cant see the fill level which is behind the handle. Takes a bit of getting used to! Second, be careful when pouring boiling water dont rush the boiling water out, be gentle!. Would still heartily recommend.

A very good kettle that should’ve been a great kettle. It boils quickly & is amongst the quieter kettles I’ve owned. It has a good capacity but it can be hard to read the amoun of water in it on the gave as it’s not lit up. Also while the temperature control is very good if it started at a slightly lower level say 60 degrees it would be great. None of the very slight niggles should put you off though as it is quick to boil & reasonably quiet.

I purchased this kettle to replace my old one which was cutting out. A friend recommended the Bosch Styline so thought I’d try it. It is so fast and very quiet. The variable temperature choice means you can use it at 100 degrees for very hot, which makes a perfect cup of tea, 90 degree setting is best for coffee and the 70-80 degree setting for herbal teas and hot water bottle filling etc. You’re saving on energy, because you are not boiling a kettle to the max when you only need a lower temperature. It also has a Keep Warm setting which is very useful too. They do it in black or white. Can highly recommend this kettle.

I like the depth of the toaster, takes the full slice, unlike many others. I also like the integrated warming rack. The kettle is solid and both have a nice feel to them. My only complaint is the lid sticks a little on the kettle.

I have had one of these kettles before and they are so reliable my last one I am sure I’ve had it for 8 years or more and sadly something went wrong on the base unit but on average most kettles dont last this long ,
So on that reason alone i searched for the same model . After my delivery i checked my old kettle on the new stand it still boiled water , that’s how reliable it was.
Sadly the base unit on my old kettle a contact had failed after 8 years and although it may have been serviceable it had anti tampa screws on it. So the old kettle will be boxed and kept as a spare .
It is a good quality unit I apprpve it and it comes in a choice of 4 colours .
Great choice well worth the price for quality.

The kettle works very well and we like the different temperature settings and the ability to keep the water at temperature for 30 minutes.

I could not give it 5* due to what I believe is a basic design fault. The window to see how much water sin the kettle is placed behind the handle instead of on the side. This makes it difficult to see the amount of water in the kettle. It also means that the kettle could be less efficient than possible as people could be putting in more water than required and therefore using more electricity.

This is the best! Boils water really quickly and can also adjust the temperature for other types of hot drinks. Worth every penny!

Chunkier than I’d usually like, this kettle feels like a durable piece of kit. The plastic outer coating means the outer walls maintain a safe temperature and despite its size it is surprisingly lightweight.

Handle is comfortable to grip, lid works effectively, pouring spout doesn’t dribble. The temperature controls are easy to operate and it is really quiet. I particularly like the little “beep” as it hits the selected temperature. Hopefully it will last longer than my previous two non-branded kettles which both died within a year of purchase due to frequency of use.

I’m slightly amused by how much I love this kettle, I would definitely buy it again!

As there’s absolutely no reason to boil water for any kind of brew we were keen to replace our defunct and now unrepairable old kettle with a temperature control kettle, and something a little smaller than our old kettle. An electric kettle is more efficient than a stove top, and temperature control increases that efficiency, less wasted energy. However, by comparison with the short-lived of modern electrics, our old cordless stainless steel kettle kept a boil for more than 20 years, only becoming problematic this last year…

Well aware of the 1, 2, & 3 star ratings, and having read them with concern, especially life expectancy and reported faults, we saw the balance, 4 & 5 stars making up 91% of the reviews, and we decided to go for this one anyway.

What we like – the temperature control and the way it counts/lights up from 70 to 80 to 90 to 100, depending on which you’ve set it at. The ‘Keep Warm’ option/button is a nice touch too. The balance, handle to kettle, and the pour, are great, and it is lighter than our old fully stainless steel kettle. Despite some reporting a plastic taste, and while it is predominately plastic inside, following the instruction, two boils and a little vinegar, thrown away before first actual use, we’ve not detected that problem at all. However, the double walled construction does really add a level of insulation that means the water keeps warm longer than it did with our full metal one.

Some disappointment was found inside – except for the stainless steel bottom it’s all plastic, as too most of the outside, minus that purely cosmetic band of steel around the top two fifths or so of the kettle, but, as already said, there is that added insulation. As others have mentioned, the level reading behind the handle is also a bit of a drawback. However, it’s quite wide and it’s easily read, left or right, and when it’s on its stand. If you’re filling with an open window before you, it is VERY easy to read and to measure out what’s wanted. So, really, that very wide bit of clear plastic is not a drawback for us. It works brilliantly, is easy to read.

We’ve been using it for a couple of months now and our appreciation only grows, including for the various noises, as when it lets you know it’s reached the temperature you’ve selected. Time may reveal more…

Our biggest disappointment with this purchase – ‘Made in China’! It is for me a serious concern and reading that did make my heart drop a beat and cause hesitation. But, as you’ll no doubt know, it’s damned hard to find almost anything that isn’t ‘Made in China’. We absolutely do not equate that with ‘quality’, on the contrary. The 1 & 2 star reviews speak to some of the experiences we’ve had with other things ‘Made in China’ – cutting corners, short life expectancy, cheap materials, poor quality plastics, etc. And there’s much worse – the putting of profit before human & environmental concerns; the general corruption of a communist system; a general lack of quality control – from a distance; their general disrespect for patents and human life and liberty; and China being the world’s capital for the making and distribution of counterfeit products.

Why do multi-national companies choose China to do their manufacturing – profit! – no environmental controls! – cheap labour! – from those mining the resources to those working along the whole line of processes towards the finished product, kettles included – with a lack of care or concern for work and life conditions, for human or environmental rights; high incidences of pollution (land, water, air); high instances of lung ailments, cancer and mental health issues… But, hey ho, the dirt of all that isn’t in our backyard, we export it. Yes, I do feel some shame in that, mea culpa! Our general opinion of Bosch has gone down a star because of this choice of theirs to make their products, this kettle, in China…

Those companies that have kept their manufacturing at home, or have pulled out of China, those are among our heroes, deserving praise and more deserving of our consideration and money. I so wish we could have found something like this that wasn’t ‘Made in China’, and that was fully stainless steel inside, with loads of reviews that were 100% 4 & 5 stars…

I bought this Kettle to replace one of the same that l have had for years, it has a beep signal when you turn it on and also when it turns off. The temperature light flashes as it heats up, you get 4 temperatures to choose from 70 to 100, a choice to use depending on what you are using the water for. I certainly recommend it.

V quick & efficient due to double wall. Outer wall is coolest I’ve ever had on a kettle. The temp control settings are 100, 90, 80 &70C. Several minutes after cutting out at 90 water still v close to 90. The beep when switching on is actually short & quite quiet, not at all the horrendous noise some reviews state. I guess if you were blind this could useful. The beep at reaching temperature is useful as I am often doing other things while it heats. Looks v smart. Delighted with another quality Bosch domestic appliance.

It’s too early to comment on energy efficiency or how long it may last. However, the Bosch Styline Sensor certainly looks the part: it is a solid stylish kettle. It seems no noisier than previous kettles we’ve owned and I really like the ability to set different “boiling” temperatures. As to price, it wasn’t much more expensive than the average.

I bought my kettle in 2013 and it still works perfectly. No leaks, no problems at all. It looks great and heats water very quickly. My only point of criticism is that if you overfill it, it will spit boiling water. However, that is a user error. I have just bought the same model for my mother.

I ordered this kettle (with double walls that stay warm – not hot) so the same thing can’t happen again. Beautiful design, heats up quickly & pings when at the right temperature. Peace of mind – I hope. I will never buy another single wall kettle again.

This is the second version of the same kettle we have bought. The base electronics failed after 5 years although the actual kettle was still fine. It has a largecapacity (3 litres), boils quickly, can be set to boil at 70, 80, 90 or 100 degrees for any speciality teas or coffees but is no quieter than the old model and still has an annoying beep to signal start and stop which cannot be turned off.

  32. Jarret C. says:

     United Kingdom

My previous Bosch kettle lasted about 9 years before starting to leak. This is essentially the same, with a reasonable window to show the water level, and easy to use controls to set whether you want a full boil for tea or a lower temperature for coffee etc. The ‘bleep’ on switching on and reaching temperature is very audible. The lid (which on a previous model had had a weak spring) pops up smartly and opens further if you want to examine the amount of scale build-up. It heats up rapidly, and my home “smart” meter indicates that it uses quite a bit of power for the short time it is on to achieve this.

  33. TamelaBallou says:

OK it’s not a cheap kettle but have to say worth every penny, this is my second one of these, the first lasted just over 3 years , and where I live the water is as hard as a diamond , if you want a high end electric kettle I don’t think you can beat this produc

  35. JannaTrumper says:

We had an earlier model which after some time went wrong. To replace it we purchased a different make which was cheaper. What a mistake it was slower to boil and beeped at every turn. This one is worth every penny quick to boil and very quiet.good looking and worth every penny.

  36. KerryLBMjz says:

Fast boiling, also keep the water warm if required. Looks really good. I would definitely say it was bigger than a normal kettle

  37. JulianaEvenden says:

     United Kingdom

This kettle replaces the previous model which lasted for 8 years with no problems. This model is well balanced and pours better than the previous one. The level indicator is a bit awkward to read when filling like the previous one but it works for right and left handed people and you don’t fill a kettle with exact amounts. We use the temperature settings more than we we thought we would which is why we looked for kettles with this feature when we needed a new one. The price is ok for what you are getting and it looks good also.

  38. Anonymous says:

     United Kingdom

When you get used to having a kettle that boils quickly and quietly, and then decide to buy a cheap and cheerful one to replace it that fulfils neither of those criteria, you really notice the difference. I did a similar thing because my old Kenwood Kmix one was starting to look decidedly scabby – while wandering along the aisles in a certain German discount supermarket chain I grabbed one of their cheap ones which looked lovely, but as soon as I put it on to make a cuppa with it for the first time, I realised that I’d made a bit of a faux-pas; it was horribly noisy and took an absolute age to boil.

It was with some regret that I admitted my mistake and took to the internet to look for something worthy to replace the old Kenwood kettle. I hummed and hawed my way through a fair amount of kettles, but decided to settle on this Bosch one.

    >>>BIG BOILER
When it arrived, I’ve got to say that I was surprised at the size of it; it seems to be somewhat larger than most kettles, most likely due to its ‘cool wall’ ability, but only by a small amount so you don’t need to discount it if you don’t have the counter space – my kitchen is TINY and it’s not a problem.

    >>>IT’S ALL ABOUT THE BASE
Unlike the vast majority of kettles, the on/off switch for this kettle is on the base rather than the kettle itself, which is kinda funky.

    >>>SOME LIKE IT HOT
…And some prefer their beverages to be slightly cooler – and this kettle’s party-trick is its ability for you to set a temperature from 70 to 100c, which is actually quite cool if you want a quick drink without having to blow on it to cool it down.

    >>>…BUT ALSO COOL!
A cool feature of this kettle is that it stays cool on the outside even when the water inside it is scalding hot. I don’t know how it works, but its effective and handy.

    >>>IT’S SUPER FAST!!
This kettle boils things so quickly – like, really, really quickly – to the point that it often boils before I’ve cleaned my cafetierre to make my coffee. It’s particularly noticeable when you set the temperature to something lower than 100c or put a small amount of water in it, but suffice to say that you never need to wait long for this beastie to come to the boil.

    >>>SUMMING UP
This is the flippin’ rolls-royce of kettles. It’s German, it boils quicker than Schumacher, it looks awesome AND you can choose how hot it boils the water. What more could you want?

  39. EllisGantt says:

Does what it is supposed to, I like to drink coffee at 70*, but the missus likes boiling hot tea.
You can set temperature to 70* 80* 90* and 100*
As the kettle boils, if you left on 100* the light indicators light up as kettle gets to temperature, so the 100* flashes (target temperature)
Then the 70* light lights to show it has reached 70* then 80* light, then 90* light, then 100* followed by a low audible beep to confirm its boiled.
If you select a different temp, e.g 80*, then the 80* light will flash, and the 70* light will light up when 70* reached, then 80* light illuminated, then confirmation beep.
Each time you boil the kettle it defaults to 100* so you have to press button to select temp, or lift kettle off of base when desired temp light is illuminated.
Not a problem for me, but might be a problem for others.
Kettle is noticeably chunky to hold, and slightly heavier than my old Russel Hobbs kettle, again not a problem for me, but might be useful information.
All of the buttons are on the base, including the on/off button.
To fill kettle you press round button in centre of lid and lid popps up.

I had another of these before breaking it due to clumsiness a couple of weeks ago. That design had the temperature guage attached to the jug itself, it was not on the base, which was just a circular disk.

This design is just as easy to use and seems the same jug quality. I prefer the temperature settings to be on the squarer base. The overall aesthetic is so much better.

Decided to give the kitchen a new look with new tiles and lighting, save the cost of a new kitchen. As part of this I wanted some nice looking new small appliances, and I bought this simply because it looked nice and I like my gadgets. Performance really is superb. It is quiet, it holds the heat really well and for some reason it’s very satisfying pressing a button on the base instead of pushing down a lever! Surprisingly the features are really useful. The 70, 80, 90 and 100 degree lights show progress as it boils, and being able to heat to a lower temperature is great not only for herbal teas but also for topping up an espresso to make a black coffee. Selecting the temperature is incredibly simple, it defaults to 100 every time so just press the down button after you’ve started it if you want a lower temperature.

..with this kettle. Ridiculous I know, I need to get out more. It took me a while to choose but I loved the look of this one, however, I also had to take into account the opinions of the reviewers, who, in the main gave it a good rating. Sleek, glossy black and silver and sits on a square base – well that’s a novelty in itself. Controls which give 90% hot water for my coffee – tastes far better and no having to wait around for it to go off the boil. Some people have said about the noise it makes when heating up but to be fair it isn’t on long enough to bother me. It pours beautifully by the way and so easy to open – large button at the top to press which would suit people who suffer with arthritic hands. If things change, you know, should I fall out of love with this kettle, I know I can be fickle at times, I’ll be back to let you know. In the meantime, I highly recommend.

The best kettle I’ve ever owned. Pleased I spent a bit more to get this with the temperature control and keep warm function as they’re more useful as i ever imagined they’d be. The kettle also boils really really quickly.

We purchased the Black Bosch Kettle (right) back in 2005. After 16 years of great performance, the kettle has developed a small leak. Still works but decided time to replace.
We love this Bosch kettle and have looked around at other makes. Decided on the same product again. Went for the White version this time. Delighted with the purchase and would recommend.

We really like this kettle. Our 1st one lasted about 6 years and stopped working last week. It got a lot of use with me and my wife working from home. The only negative thing I’ve noticed others say about this kettle is the loud beep .. but the new kettle is now quieter! So the manufacturer has taken note. The old one was 95dB .. the new one 85dB. (I had to check!). Great kettle..

Love this kettle, and was so glad it was still available. It was a direct replacement for the same kettle bought over 8 years ago. Best kettle ever.

Very early days but I love this kettle. I had the previous model that I bought over 8 years ago and after trying over 8 other kettles (as I wanted a quiet boil) I have gone back to the old faithful that I hope gives me again as many years.
Previous had the black one but I still love the manly look of my new one even if it is white
Thanks to Amazon for being patient with me and accepting all those returns (without question) I am glad to say I am very happy with this kettle and it is a lot quieter than my previous one which is a bonus, oh and can I add, it boils a full kettle in 3.09 minutes whereas other didn’t achieve anywhere like that – massive plus from me

3.09 minutes to boil from full. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Luv I

This is the second one of these kettles I’ve owned. First one lasted nearly 9 years so hopefully it lasts as long. Temperature control is great, 70 for green tea, 80 for coffee and 100 for black tea. In theory it should make your kettle more energy efficient as you only boil water to the temperature you need and also as a bonus it does improve the flavour of drinks like coffee where normal 100c water causes bitterness.

I bought this kettle chiefly for its looks and ability to disappear into my kitchen. I find the kettle easy to fill and the controls are easy to use. Keep it warm is a godsend – I regularly put the kettle on and go to do something and it means that it’s ready for me when I get back.

It’s early days but my first impression is, this kettle is very good. I had the same model in a different colour for many many years. The old kettle was like concord taking off, this kettle is so quiet I looked to see that it actually had switched on. There’s been a lot of negative reviews, maybe I just got lucky, or maybe it’s because I don’t put cold water into a just boiled kettle. The science is against doing that but you can bet your life a lot of people do it without a thought. Maybe that’s a lot to do with leaks. Time will tell.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI really like this kettle and it’s working well. Stylish, chunky (wouldn’t recommend for anyone with a poor grip as the handle is wide) and not too noisy.

I use it with filtered water and descale when my filter runs out – it came up lovely after the first descale.

The lid sticks because of limescale, it just needs a bit of limescale remover wiped on the catches during descaling and then it works fine again. If the lid does stick, then you just need to give the button a firm, slow push – a quick, light press won’t do anything.

One star dropped due to the button issue but overall happy with this 🙂

Great item but need care and maintenance

Bit bigger and bulkier than I was expecting. Boils pretty quickly if not filled to the max. Doesn’t seem any less loud than a normal kettle, but the beep at the end of the boil is a nice touch. So is the ‘keep warm’ button.

Expensive for what it is. Flip up lid now sticking. Otherwise all ok.

Good easy to use smart kettle, we had a sage kettle costing much more, this has simple means of using the settings, sage kettle had two or three pauses to achieve required temperature, the Bosch kettle just gets to temperature and switches to ‘keep hot mode’ if selected.
Only draw back is noise of boiling but this is OK.

I think it looks nice and I do like that you can control the temp. Some of the reviews will tell you about faults like sticking lids and the such. This is true but it does not really effect how I use my kettle. One thing I did notice is that if you fill it up it gets noisy. But for whatever reason I really like mine and if it broke I would by another one.

So far, so good. No complaints. Boils quickly and not particularly noisy. My wife makes green tea so the ability to set a temperature of 70, 80, 90 or 100 is very useful. Haven’t used the “keep warm” feature yet.

This kettle is great apart from a couple of things: the lid sticks sometimes (need to press the button then grab the lid with your nails and give it a tug). Also the buttons feel flimsy and not convinced they’ll last a long time. Otherwise very good. Works a treat. The lowest setting 70 is good for hot water bottles in the winter!

  76. Dannie3851 says:

This is the best kettle I’ve ever owned, with one exception. The lid sticks, so you need both hands to open it, not ideal when you’ve just boiled water and it’s piping hot to refill! Otherwise I can’t fault it. Low noise, fast boil, and the temp control is more useful than I had thought too. Overall I would definitely buy again.

Overall it’s perfect for hot drink lovers, especially if you brew yourself teas, matcha or coffees and prefer a specific temperature. Very easy to control and has a “keep warm” function.

Other than that, not sure what else do you want from an electric kettle. Amazon reviews are full of so many rather picky reviews that make you doubt. It boils water and has a warranty; what else do you want, people?

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersReally pleased with this kettle..boils fast..a bit noisy but not bothered about that..only 4 stars because it’s made in China not Germany!..trying to avoid buying Chinese stuff..about time Amazon started showing country of manufacture so an informed decision can be made if people want to buy Chinese or not before purchase.

This is my second Bosch TWK8631GB Styline Collection Kettle in a span of five years. The first one was bought on John Lewis online as part of a new kitchen to add that bit of designer look with the matching toaster and food processor. That kettle lasted just short of five years when the thermostat finally failed on it. Expected the kettle to last longer with proper cleaning and upkeep. Anyway, I and my wife like it so much, when we saw that the same model was still available, we immediately ordered it instead of ordering the newer model. Hope this one last another five years.

I bought this kettle to replace the one I bought years ago. It is quicker to boil water and switches itself off when the water temp. reaches 100 C. The only problem is that use over the years the kettle tends to create calcium film on the inside and takes longer to boil the water. But one can clean it with vinegar and it’s good as new again. Recommend it because it has lasted me for a long time without any problems.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThis is the second Bosch kettle that I’ve purchased from Amazon. The first was bought in 2012 and has only just recently developed a fault with the base and would not boil the kettle despite being live and switched on. I didn’t hesitate in ordering an identical model to replace it as it has been reliable for 8 years of constant use. Not bad going for an electrical appliance that is rarely off.

I have noticed one or two more differences however in this new kettle. The beep is more muted than before and the lid springs open on the first attempt, which it didn’t on the old one.

This kettle is well worth the initial cost as it also has the bonus of water temperature control and a keep warm facility. I’m hoping for another 12 years of good use out of the kettle.

Very good quality Kettle. Well designed handle and pouring spout.
This item saves energy if you only use the temperature of water you require. 70/80/90/100c . It takes a lot of energy to reach the last few centigrade up to boiling point.

Great kettle. Does what it says and quickly. Good idea to heat water at different temperatures to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. No more curdling alternative milks now. Also keeps water hot, if you are busy, if you select this. Does not spill or drip. Lightweight. Surprised no one else thought of it.

Bought this as have had too many kettles fail because of flappy paddly switch that alwats breaks. This kettle has separate push button on the base unit so should be more robust. So far it has performed well & temperature selection is really useful.
Only one down side is the lid seems to stick shut when you press the button to open it in centre of lid no matter how many times you press it. More of an irritating fault than a show stopper as doesn’t happen all the time it seems it is down to a bit of overdesign of the sealing on underside of lid. In all in all a good sturdy kettle with lots of capacity. Would buy again as it it is so much better than the paddle type on off buttons.

I have measured the 90 degree setting and it’s only 85 degrees, the 80 is only 76. Only the 100 is accurate. Other than that it’s a brilliant fast and quiet kettle, the best I have ever had and the keep warm function is ideal.

Have had this kettle for nearly a year now. Love the fact that it has a keep warm facility, it heats really quickly and you can set the temperature – this had been a game changer! Coffee definitely tastes nicer at 90.
It is a little noisier than the one it replaced but we quickly got used to it.
    Highly recommended.

All good after just a month of heavy use. No leaks and nothing broken, temp control works really well. This kettle does need a rethink on the location of the filling window – right behind the handle is a dumb place for it. So far so good – time will tell if it was worth 50 quid.

I bought this kettle to replace a much more expensive one .
I have been very pleased and in some ways find it better than my previous kettle.
The temperature control works well. It switches off efficiently when it reaches the chosen temperature and does not keep boiling for ages like some kettles.
The keep warm option works very well.
This kettle is not silent but then which ones are? It only boiling for a short time so I don’t find it a problem.
Would buy it again in favour of my previous very expensive kettle.

I bought this specifically for the temperature control and I’m so thrilled about it! The very first time I used it was to heat water for mates , which should be warm enough but not burn your tongue. 80C was just the perfect temperature!
The design is nice and elegant; there’s no spillage when pouring water.

Can’t speak too much on longevity, but I’ve had it several months and it’s been fine.
Main drawback is the temperature control is discrete (70 / 80 / 90 / 100), not sure why they couldn’t have made it a dial or something.
High gloss plastic finish for whatever dumb reason

Otherwise, I love it and would recommend

Overall i am really happy with this purchase. I like the “keep warm” function and the feel of the handle, it’s smooth robust and comfortable to hold.
Ideally i was looking for a quieter kettle , this one is certainly better than my last (although cant describe as quiet) however certainly benefits from the boil appearing to be quicker than my old one.
I am very happy with it and would recommend it to others.
I wouldnt recommend it to anyone elderly however who may prefer something lighter (my parents loved this kettle but decided against purchasing as mine felt too heavy for them)

Pleased with this product, works well and looks modern. It’s as noisy as any other kettle, but being able to set the temperature has been handy. Had this several weeks now, and not disappointed. More plastic than metal.

I really like this kettle, however I was somewhat disappointed when it started to play up just after the two year warranty had elapsed – I’d switch it on and it would turn straight off again.
My son suggested cleaning the contacts on the underside and (happily) this seems to have resolved the problem.

Great kettle with the temperature control and keep warm function. I have had these functions with cheaper kettle but I am hoping the extra expense buying a Bosch it will last longer. Downside is quite noisy and only 1.5l but seems huge compared to other kettles and the filling up window is behind the handle which is quite awkward to see while filling. But on an extra plus It beeps when powered up and again when boiled, this feature I have not had before but for a 69 I would expect to see a colour change and it bubbling through the clear window on how much to fill. The handle is great, non slip .

This replaces a previous Bosch kettle. This model is far superior. It is just the right size and perfect in every way.
The streamlined design is a lot more compact than my previous temperature control one which was far too big and bulky. This little beauty works like a dream.
Please ignore the negative reviews about the bleep when turned on and when the selected temperature has been reached as it is not at all intrusive and actually I quite like it!
The top touch button to open the lid is brilliant, the pouring spout is excellent and you can clearly see the level of water within the kettle from the wide side window, the handle is comfortable and it is not too heavy at all even when full. Thank you Amazon too for a prompt delivery.
Do not hesitate to purchase. Highly recommended.

This is the third Bosch kettle we have had in this style. It is an efficient kettle and the button controls enable you to select the temperature which probably appeals to some tea drinkers, or you can keep the water warm for a quick refill if desired. The kettle is cordless sitting on a base and looks great in any kitchen.
