Great kettle
The best kettle I’ve ever owned. Pleased I spent a bit more to get this with the temperature control and keep warm function as they’re more useful as i ever imagined they’d be. The kettle also boils really really quickly.
New improved quite beep!
We really like this kettle. Our 1st one lasted about 6 years and stopped working last week. It got a lot of use with me and my wife working from home. The only negative thing I’ve noticed others say about this kettle is the loud beep .. but the new kettle is now quieter! So the manufacturer has taken note. The old one was 95dB .. the new one 85dB. (I had to check!). Great kettle..

Bit of a dodgy lid!
NIce looking, works well and its a Bosch! Shame about the lid that doesn’t always open!
Best kettle ever.
This is the second one of these kettles I’ve owned. First one lasted nearly 9 years so hopefully it lasts as long. Temperature control is great, 70 for green tea, 80 for coffee and 100 for black tea. In theory it should make your kettle more energy efficient as you only boil water to the temperature you need and also as a bonus it does improve the flavour of drinks like coffee where normal 100c water causes bitterness.

I bought this kettle chiefly for its looks and ability to disappear into my kitchen. I find the kettle easy to fill and the controls are easy to use. Keep it warm is a godsend – I regularly put the kettle on and go to do something and it means that it’s ready for me when I get back.

I really like this kettle and it’s working well. Stylish, chunky (wouldn’t recommend for anyone with a poor grip as the handle is wide) and not too noisy.
I use it with filtered water and descale when my filter runs out – it came up lovely after the first descale.
The lid sticks because of limescale, it just needs a bit of limescale remover wiped on the catches during descaling and then it works fine again. If the lid does stick, then you just need to give the button a firm, slow push – a quick, light press won’t do anything.
One star dropped due to the button issue but overall happy with this 🙂

Quite happy with this kettle
Bit bigger and bulkier than I was expecting. Boils pretty quickly if not filled to the max. Doesn’t seem any less loud than a normal kettle, but the beep at the end of the boil is a nice touch. So is the ‘keep warm’ button.

Brilliant Bosch smart kettle.
Good easy to use smart kettle, we had a sage kettle costing much more, this has simple means of using the settings, sage kettle had two or three pauses to achieve required temperature, the Bosch kettle just gets to temperature and switches to ‘keep hot mode’ if selected.
Only draw back is noise of boiling but this is OK.

I think it looks nice and I do like that you can control the temp. Some of the reviews will tell you about faults like sticking lids and the such. This is true but it does not really effect how I use my kettle. One thing I did notice is that if you fill it up it gets noisy. But for whatever reason I really like mine and if it broke I would by another one.
Great kettle
So far, so good. No complaints. Boils quickly and not particularly noisy. My wife makes green tea so the ability to set a temperature of 70, 80, 90 or 100 is very useful. Haven’t used the “keep warm” feature yet.
Great kettle with just a couple of niggles
This kettle is great apart from a couple of things: the lid sticks sometimes (need to press the button then grab the lid with your nails and give it a tug). Also the buttons feel flimsy and not convinced they’ll last a long time. Otherwise very good. Works a treat. The lowest setting 70 is good for hot water bottles in the winter!
Would buy agai
This is the best kettle I’ve ever owned, with one exception. The lid sticks, so you need both hands to open it, not ideal when you’ve just boiled water and it’s piping hot to refill! Otherwise I can’t fault it. Low noise, fast boil, and the temp control is more useful than I had thought too. Overall I would definitely buy again.

Excellent if you need temperature control for different beverages
The temperature control makes this kettle perfect for making my delicate afternoon green tea as well as my breakfast builders’ black brew. Clear volume guide means you only boil the water you need. This is my second and bought as backup while on offer.

That kettle lasted just short of five years when the thermostat finally failed on it. Expected the kettle to last longer with proper cleaning and upkeep. Anyway, I and my wife like it so much, when we saw that the same model was still available, we immediately ordered it instead of ordering the newer model. Hope this one last another five years.

This item saves energy if you only use the temperature of water you require. 70/80/90/100c . It takes a lot of energy to reach the last few centigrade up to boiling point.

Great kettle. Does what it says and quickly. Good idea to heat water at different temperatures to make tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc. No more curdling alternative milks now. Also keeps water hot, if you are busy, if you select this. Does not spill or drip. Lightweight. Surprised no one else thought of it.
Does what it says
Bought this as have had too many kettles fail because of flappy paddly switch that alwats breaks. This kettle has separate push button on the base unit so should be more robust. So far it has performed well & temperature selection is really useful.
Only one down side is the lid seems to stick shut when you press the button to open it in centre of lid no matter how many times you press it. More of an irritating fault than a show stopper as doesn’t happen all the time it seems it is down to a bit of overdesign of the sealing on underside of lid. In all in all a good sturdy kettle with lots of capacity. Would buy again as it it is so much better than the paddle type on off buttons.
Great design and features
I have measured the 90 degree setting and it’s only 85 degrees, the 80 is only 76. Only the 100 is accurate. Other than that it’s a brilliant fast and quiet kettle, the best I have ever had and the keep warm function is ideal.
Brilliant kettle!
Have had this kettle for nearly a year now. Love the fact that it has a keep warm facility, it heats really quickly and you can set the temperature – this had been a game changer! Coffee definitely tastes nicer at 90.
It is a little noisier than the one it replaced but we quickly got used to it.
Highly recommended.
Lid release
Lid release is hit and miss sometimes I have to hold the button while lifting lid. Otherwise works well and looks good
Quick and quie
All good after just a month of heavy use. No leaks and nothing broken, temp control works really well. This kettle does need a rethink on the location of the filling window – right behind the handle is a dumb place for it. So far so good – time will tell if it was worth 50 quid.

Completely worth every penny
I bought this specifically for the temperature control and I’m so thrilled about it! The very first time I used it was to heat water for mates , which should be warm enough but not burn your tongue. 80C was just the perfect temperature!
The design is nice and elegant; there’s no spillage when pouring water.
Solid upgrade from standard kettles
Can’t speak too much on longevity, but I’ve had it several months and it’s been fine.
Main drawback is the temperature control is discrete (70 / 80 / 90 / 100), not sure why they couldn’t have made it a dial or something.

Bought this to replace the exact same kettle we have had for years – beyond repair (one that we bought from COMET – remember them!). Buying the same one again should tell you how we like it.

Pleased with this product, works well and looks modern. It’s as noisy as any other kettle, but being able to set the temperature has been handy. Had this several weeks now, and not disappointed. More plastic than metal.
Great kettle (if you keep the contacts clean!)
I really like this kettle, however I was somewhat disappointed when it started to play up just after the two year warranty had elapsed – I’d switch it on and it would turn straight off again.
My son suggested cleaning the contacts on the underside and (happily) this seems to have resolved the problem.

But on an extra plus It beeps when powered up and again when boiled, this feature I have not had before but for a 69 I would expect to see a colour change and it bubbling through the clear window on how much to fill. The handle is great, non slip .

Great Kettle
This is the third Bosch kettle we have had in this style. It is an efficient kettle and the button controls enable you to select the temperature which probably appeals to some tea drinkers, or you can keep the water warm for a quick refill if desired. The kettle is cordless sitting on a base and looks great in any kitchen.
A worthwhile item in the kitchen or elsewhere in the house.
A good and aesthetically pleasing product eith dome good features. In my case though, the temperature control possibilities are not really necessary as I just want to boil water or not. Still a quality product though and others may find these refinements desirable. In any case, it looks good and promises to be of quality and value.
Easy to use, looks stylish
Easy to use, looks great on worktop and is not noisy. Downside, for some reason, I don’t think it performs as well as others in a hard water area but it just means the filter needs to be cleaned more regularly. I would recommend.

The last time we bought one of these kettles was in 2018 when we bought a black one for my elderly mother.
We’d already owned a white one for years at that point and we’d bought our son one of them as well a year or so before the 2018 one for my mum(I can’t remember which colour) all three kettles are still going strong.
We like them because they don’t have to be filled much – you can use it for just one cup. When they only have one cup full in them they are not heavy so they are great for people who have trouble lifting heavy kettles. They are nice and stable and they pour safely.
I love the variable water temperature – it saves tons of energy over time because I like my teas and coffees made with 70C water and I can get exactly the amount I need at exactly the temperature I want it and no wasted energy on boiling and then waiting for it to cool.
If you look after it and wipe it down regularly and don’t bash it about, it will (like ours does) stay looking good and working well.
As you can see ours has a tiny hairline crack in the base where my husband was a bit rough with it (he has trouble gripping sometimes) and the on/off button has started to fade from the many years of use and the 70C button (my tea and coffee favourite temp) has lost some of its silver. I happened upon this listing when Facebook showed me an advert for this kettle and I was curious to see how much they are going for nowadays. This kettle is more expensive than I ever spent before on a kettle but ours has lasted at least three times as long as any kettle we’ve owned before and I love it.
The last time we bought one of these kettles was in 2018 when we bought a black one for my elderly mother.
We’d already owned a white one for years at that point and we’d bought our son one of them as well a year or so before the 2018 one for my mum(I can’t remember which colour) all three kettles are still going strong.
We like them because they don’t have to be filled much – you can use it for just one cup. When they only have one cup full in them they are not heavy so they are great for people who have trouble lifting heavy kettles. They are nice and stable and they pour safely.
I love the variable water temperature – it saves tons of energy over time because I like my teas and coffees made with 70C water and I can get exactly the amount I need at exactly the temperature I want it and no wasted energy on boiling and then waiting for it to cool.
If you look after it and wipe it down regularly and don’t bash it about, it will (like ours does) stay looking good and working well.
As you can see ours has a tiny hairline crack in the base where my husband was a bit rough with it (he has trouble gripping sometimes) and the on/off button has started to fade from the many years of use and the 70C button (my tea and coffee favourite temp) has lost some of its silver. But it still works well and is the best kettle we’ve ever owned.

Our original kettle was half the price of this kettle and was very noisy while reaching its boiling point. So, I was hoping that, among other things, this kettle would be much quieter. However, I was quite disappointed in that respect, as it is almost as loud as my previous kettle.
Having said that this kettle has so much better quality, and has a great selectable feature that will keep the boiled water hot, for up to half an hour – ready for your second cup?
Apart from the unexpected ‘loudness’ issue, while boiling, the only other ‘fault’ we’ve experienced is that after 3 days regular useage the refill lid wouldn’t open when pressing the button. This seems to be resolved by pressing gently with your thumb near the hinge as you press the large opening button.
Overall, we’re very happy with our purchase.
Stylish and Practical
Extremely pleased with this kettle. Love the styling, it takes up less room on the counter than any kettle I’ve previously owned. It’s easy to remove and place on the stand. The lid springs open a little sharply but its not a problem. Quick to heat up and not too noisy. Useful beep to remind you it’s finished heating.

GREAT KETTLE
Being able to choose the temperature it switches off is great. (I use 90 degs for coffee) If for tea of course it needs to boil and it switches off only a few seconds after the temperature is reached. Some people may find the audible signal of “temperature reached ” annoying but I find it’s great if elsewhere in the house
Bosch quality
This is a good looking, easy to use kettle. Love the variable temperature feature which is very easy to set as is the “Keep warm” function. Only possible downside is that it is quite noisy but personally I think that is a small price to pay for a good quality kettle

I love this kettle
Very stylish. Nice wide lid. Switches off quickly and the alarm is useful while not being intrusive.
Only 4 stars because we had to return the first one – the lid kept sticking, couldn’t be prised open and difficult to fill through the narrow spout. Amazon replaced immediately and arranged collection of the old one. Glad we stayed with this kettle as the replacement has been trouble free.
Stylish kettle
Looks good and is big enough for quite a few people. It is a little heavy when full and does seem to make a lot of noise when boiling. The water boils well to the temperature you want.
Best kettle I have owned.
I drink a lot of tea and I mean a lot! I also tend to get busy and forget about the kettle once boiled, but this removed having to reboil it as it would just maintain the temps I want!
It’s perfect for Matcha at 70C, green teas at 80C and black (normal) tea at 100C. I love it and when it eventually dies I’ll be buying another, or what ever the latest model at the time is.

Functional and stylish
Looks great, very stylish. Works extremely well and efficiently. The different temperature modes and keep warm facility are a great asset i use them all the time. I keep the temperature guide handy to refer to. Very light and easy to keep clean which is a must for me as i live in a hard water area.
Sleek and elega
Absolutely love this kettle best one I’ve had to date. Some might think it’s a bit much to spend on a kettle but it has been worth every penny. It’s quick boil, energy efficient as far as I can see, low noise even a little beep to let u know it’s boiled. Seems larger than my previous buys but that just gives me more reason to drink more. The second one I have bought. The first one has lasted years and is still operational, apart from a small leak – which is the main fault of this kettle, after a few years usage. However loved it so much with its keep warm feature, bleep when ready and attractive appearance that couldn’t resist another.

So I ordered the Bosch Model TWK89633GB instead. This kettle looks similar to my previous model but has a smaller water capacity. However, the main feature is IT DOESN’T LEAK.

Sleek and efficie
Absolutely fab! Never spent this much money on a kettle before but it’s so worth the money. Looks sleek, not bulky and neat in my kitchen. The boil is rapid and the keep warm feature a welcome addition. Its beeps when you press buttons and when it reaches temperature. A good idea if you in another room, you know when its boiled.

For a kettle that’s used multiple times a day, every day, and which has some slightly more advanced circuitry than the average (for the temperature detection and setting) that’s not a bad lifespan. Not perfect, but certainly acceptable given the price. It’s quick to boil (being a 3kW device), the ability to set a target temperature is surprisingly useful (e.g. hot water bottle for the kids which probably doesn’t want to be 100 degrees, or for heating a cafetire of coffee just right). The one *really* annoying feature (which unfortunately seems to be a really annoying feature of so many products these days): it beeps. Really loudly. When you set it to boil, and when it finishes boiling.
I’ve been sorely tempted to take it apart and de-solder the damned beeper but now it’s failed I’m definitely going to take the thing apart and see if 1) it’s an easy fix and 2) if so, where that damned beeper is! If it’s well and truly broken … well, I’d seriously consider ordering another one anyway and just voiding the warranty to ditch that beeper given the lifespan seems pretty good anyway.

Replacement for existing kettle
This was bought as a direct replacement for an identical model bought 6 years ago. The current one packed up as it was used extensively all day every day so as you can see it is quite a sturdy kettle and well worth the money
Great product and it is build to las
This kettle is a Leopard tank of kettles. Solid built, no-nonsense design and practicality over thrills in every inch of its “Made-in-China” German body. The ear-piercing alarm sound that a lot of buyers complain here is actually kind of cute, but I totally see myself switching it off at some point.

We are a large family, and the kettle is so important when we need a quick cup of coffee or tea, and very useful when cooking and need boiling water at the flip of a switch. Quick boiling, wonderful feature keeps water warm for up to 30 min., not noisy and at capacity of 1.7 ltrs. fantastic for my needs.. This kettle has met all my expectations. I am so pleased with this product . Delivery was very quick next day actually. Just a tad heavy but feels durable. Not necessarily recommending if someone has a problem with lifting a kettle, but it is still manageable. Am very happy to have chosen this kettle.
Silent kettle
We had one previously to go with other Bosch appliances but with controls on the base. As we live in a very hard limescale area and despite using a water filter had to descale the kettle often. Decided that I could just as well descale a cheaper kettle and tried out two other makes in between. I found I was descaling even more. Gone back to this one and just love it so quiet and worth the extra plus this was not a bramnd new one but you cannot tell at all. Seller recommended.
Long lasting Highly recommended.
I bought this kettle 10/01/2012 and unfortunately it died after 8 years and 5 months. I immediately replaced with the exact same model, as it is the best kettle we have had. The element and electrics were still good, but one of the spring contacts in the base failed with repeated use. Usually in the past other makes have leaked or the element have gone, often within a year. I can highly recommend this kettle.

So I went ahead and put the extra money for the very reputable Bosch brand.
While I’m not the biggest fan of the design and the big logo on the front, I’m very happy with the quality. Its actually quite huge, feels very sturdy and of very good quality. Basic useful temperature presets (really don’t need more – or less- than those 4) and the optional keep warm button. Even the cap, that tends to be really cheap and dodgy on other kettles, feels very reliable. The plastic handle -you’d it would be too weak to carry a kettle filled with water – is very nice, sturdy and ergonomic.
It’s also pretty quiet I find, when boiling.
I like that the whole kettle is off, even when putting the kettle back on the base, and that you have to manually turn it on by pressing the button. No waste of electricity

A fantastic kettle
I bought this as I’d made a mistake with a Russell Hobbs Luna, which turned out to be really noisy despite their claims that it was up to 75% quieter.
This Bosch is a total joy – yes, it beeps to let you know you’ve turned it on and it beeps to let you know it’s done its job!!! I don’t mind that. This is a good looking appliance. I like the adjustable temperature, it might encourage me to try herbal teas.
Superb kettle
I have to say, this kettle is still the best I’ve used by far! I especially love the fact that the kettle itself is cordless, plus you can set it to boil at different temperatures (very useful if you’re a tea person and have many different types of loose leaf tea). It works great and is really good value for money.

Brilliant kettle
Don’t normally get excited by a kettle but this Bosch is excellent!
I cannot comment on durability, only had it two days, but the build quality, the quietness of the actual water heating operation and the clean water flavour are all excellent.
The variable temperatures has already changed my wife’s view of coffee and the facility to keep water at the correct temperature has already proved useful.
All in all, a great kettle at a reasonable cost.
Best buy this yea
After a lot of trouble moving just 2 weeks before Covid shut down everything this kettle has been our salvation. It’s absolutely fantastic. Boils fast, temperature control is perfect(I drink green tea and my flat mate black tea). It’s easy to clean both wiping down the outside and keeping calcium build-up down on the inside. It’s been worth every penny.
