I try to avoid writing reviews until I’ve had the product for a while so I can give an accurate idea of how it performs long term. We’ve had this cover since the end of last summer and i can honestly say it has outperformed any previous, cheaper, cover. For the first time i was able to leave the cushions out under the cover without fear of them getting wet ( obviously not through the winter, but for all of September and October).
It has sustained one small tear when it blew against the house wall during storm Doris but that was extreme circumstances and it is repairable. I find it rather big for my swing, and there is a lot of surplus fabric, but i can live with that because it’s so good in every other way.

I’m so happy I found perfect cover for my swings. Great material rubbed from the inside. Have 2 front zippers and fastening clips, so the cover does not fly away some day. Perfect item. My swing are 200cm long, 120cm deep and 170cm high.

Cover for all seasons
The cover is strong and fits the swing seat almost perfectly-obviously depends on maximum size attempting to protect. Can blow a bit in wind but has not “taken off” so depends on your situation and direction of wind. There have been no leaks with the rain. The first one replaced without problem as had an issue with one of the zips . Highly recommended strong cover. The ties are secure. Easily unzipped at the sides for convenience if wanting to sit and enjoy weather and your surroundings and also remaining under cover if windy or slight rain. Recommended.

Gut, aber nicht für uns...
Sehr ordentliche Qualitt, jedoch durch 1 Person schwierig zu benutzen. Dies ist jedoch kein Mangel und liegt einfach an der Gre der Abdeckung und der Dicke/dem Gewicht des Materials. Passt jedoch nicht optimal fr unsere Schaukel (auch dass ist kein Mangel) und geht deshalb zurck.

This bosmere c500 2 hammock cover is the best one I have ever had, it’s very strong and well made. I have bought loads of cheaper ones in the past and they have been in the bin before winter was out. This one is great I would definitely recommend It to everyone who has a 2seater swing. Good value for money.

Quality slightly dented by lack of length (although it’s meant to cover the height claimed), oversewing of zip ( easily rectified but annoying) and lack of sufficient eyelets (only one per corner when two are shown in instructions). Material quality good.

Einzig was einen Stern Abzug bedeutet: Es sind unten so wenig sen dran, dass die Befestigung recht schwierig ist, dadurch hat der Wind auch Angriffsflchen und konnte somit sehr darunter greifen.
Beim Starken Sturm letzten Wintern ging die Abdeckung dann auch fliegen
Insgesamt bin ich aber zufrieden, ich klemm die Abdeckung jetzt einfach unter die Hollywoodschaukel, also stell sie sozusagen darauf. Das hlt!

The only thing I did have to do was tie string right around it to stop the sound of flapping because we have fields on our backs so its very windy.
Beim Kauf dieser Schutzhlle habe ich bewusst nicht auf den Preis sondern auf Qualitt geachtet. Schon das Gewicht der Abdeckhlle zeigt, dass es keine Billigware ist, sondern eine schwere Qualitt. Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut. Alle Nhte sind doppelt genht und verstrkt. Die Plane ist atmungsaktiv, d.h. es entsteht kein Schwitzwasser darunter und sie ist trotzdem absolut wasserdicht. Die beiden Reissverschlsse ermglichen es sogar, dass man nur vorne hochklappt und sonst rundum geschtzt ist.
Ich habe eine 3-Sitzer Primero Comfort Hollywoodschaukel. Sie steht bei mir im Garten und ist der Witterung voll ausgesetzt ! Aus diesem Grund habe ich als Schutzhlle ein Qualittsprodukt gesucht.
Die Hlle ist etwas zu gro; die Schaukel ist 210 breit und die Hlle 244. Aber das war mir schon beim Kauf klar und ich dachte mir, lieber etwas zu gro und der Sitz ist locker, als zu knapp und mit Gewalt drbergezogen.
Man kann die Hlle alleine berziehen, zu zweit geht es aber deutlich entspannter. Bei starkem Wind findet man auch diese Hlle (ohne ausreichende Befestigung) im Nachbars Garten.
Ich habe mit Magic Ties ber Amazon gekauft. Diese durch die sen der Hlle geschoben und am Gestnge der Schaukel fixiert. Das hlt den strksten Strum aus. Die Handhabung der mitgelieferten Befestigungskordel war mir zu umstndlich.
Anders als abgebildet reicht die Schutzhlle allerdings nicht bis auf dem Boden, obwohl ich sie sie bewusst zu gro bestellt habe! Aber dafr einen Stern abzuziehen wre nicht richtig, denn die Qualitt der Schutzhlle stimmt wirklich und deren Abmessungen sind ja genau angegeben.
Noch ein Grund der Kaufentscheidung:
Billiges Polyethylengewebe wird sptestens nach 1-2 Jahren in dem es der Sonne und Witterung ausgesetzt wurde, brchig und reit. Auerdem bildet sich unter dem Polythylengewege Schwitzwasser was auch nicht Sinn der Sache sein kann. Auch diese Schutzhllen kosten ca. 40 Euro fr eine 3-Sitzer Schaukel.
Also besser nicht an der falschen Stelle sparen.

Good quality product, heavy material that doesn’t tear easily and stands up to rain and frost. Some sun bleaching occurs but that happens to anything left outside for long periods.

Great cover, had it on my hammock over the winter and its kept it clean and dry. True to size as well so it just reaches the floor and the cords keep it in place really well. Would definitely buy it again if i needed too.

This is nice thick cover I do not know whether the one I purchased had a faulty zip,or whether the zips are not strong enough for the cover. One zip broke after having it about a month during a storm

Tough, quality seat cover.
Does the job well. It’s tougher than the cheap ones you can get for 15 – 20. I’ve found they tear easily so don’t last longer than 12 months. This one’s doing the job well after a few hard winters
C’tait le seul et unique produit propos qui couvrait notre balancelle. Donc pas trop le choix. Il manque c’est vrai 10cm sur la longueur, mais il couvre l’essentiel. Par contre, dommage qu’il n’y ait pas plus d’attaches avec trous en bas pour bien isoler la balancelle. Rsistera t’il au coup de vents violents ? Le temps nous le dira.

i have purchased this cover before. it fits my swing perfectly and protects the swing from fading from the california sun and rain. i only gave it 4 stars because the color fades badly within a 2 to 3 year period, which is the only reason i replace it.

Lovely cover, thick and so far waterproof no problem. I live in windy area so time will tell. My only complaint is that isn’t not long enough. It falls a good 20cm short of my swing hammock. Could do with being longer as the gap allows it to fill up like a balloon in the wind. Have invested in some long tent pegs to keep it from flying off. A bit more material and it would get a 5 sta
Da die alte Schutzplane aus PE-Material stndig durch Windben und Regen von der Hollywoodschaukel weggeweht wurde, habe ich nach einer robusteren und besseren Lsung gesucht und auf diese Schutzhlle von Bosmere gestoen. Ich war durch den hheren Preis von 80 Euro etwas skeptisch, ob sich diese Investition berhaupt lohnen wrde. Aber es hat. Sie ist deutlich schwerer vom Gewicht, als die Plastik-Planen und von den Maen passt sie gut fr unsere 3-sitzige Hollwoodschaukel. Auch Regenwasser perlt gut ab von der Plane und sie hat 5 Zugschnre, welche durch die sen am Gerst der Schaukel drangemacht wird, sodass bei krftigerern Winden die Plane an der Schaukel bleibt. Bin zufrieden.

Good quality Hammock Cover … but could usefully have a few more ‘eyelets’ fitted along the bottom (both front and back) to enable the cover to be secured in the high winter winds. I fitted a few more myself and it is now much more stable.

his is the third cover I have bought in my efforts to find one that doesn’t leak and I have to say that, while this one is on the expensive side, it does what it says on the tin. you do get what you pay for in that the quality is high and it is well made and, so far, no leaks but be aware that the picture is misleading in that it shows the cover reaching the floor, I was very disappointed to discover that mine is four inches too short. the toggles provided to anchor the cover to the frame are strong and efficient and no amount of wind is going to shift it. I would recommend this item to anyone but be sure to carefully measure your swing to ensure you have adequate length.

Excellent product. Replaced our older Cover,which we paid 70 for some 3 years ago. The advert doesn’t mention that it has a zipped front, but it has,which is handy if you only want to use it for half an hour, and you don’t have to take it off completely. Definitely worth the extra money over the cheap plastic covers

Only used it for a few weeks but so far so good. This is a much better quality cover than I have had before, and I am expecting it to last. It has not yet had any real bad weather on it, but is really good so far. It fits my two seater hammock well, although it is a little short in height, but this does not matter too much as the ties anchor it around the legs well. Wait to see what happens when we have some wind and heavy rain.

Good heavy duty cove
This is a very good heavy, more like canvas cover. In the past we have had other covers that have deteriorated with the weather. Have only had since May so time will tell if it withstands the wind, rain and snow.

We have a custom built garden swing that is longer than average, and have gone through many covers over the years. This is the first one that is functional with a front zipper that enables the front flap to be rolled up and secured. As a bonus, it actually matches the Sunbrella canvas colour. What’s not to like? Hopefully, it will last several seasons of summer and winter conditions.

This is truly a great product made of good quality material and has so far stood up to the very high winds that we have had over the past months (we do however have our swing anchored to the fence or by now it would have been badly damaged). A bit more expensive than the plastic covers we have purchased previously and only lasted a few weeks, but so far well worth the extra money. We have the Malibu 2 seater swing as shown in the illustration and it is a good fit.
This item fits our hammock perfectly with a little room to spare. The item is made of very strong material and is really well made. Like another comment I think it could do with a further two holes at each corner of the front panel. It has just had a severe testing in gale force winds and did not suffer at all. I hope that the long term strength continues as the last one we had (not this make) ripped on the top corners due to wind movement.
I was really delighted with this cover. It was very sturdy and well made and looked great. In fact, during the summer, when put over my hammock, it made it into a proper tented summerhouse for when it was very hot. I was disappointed when it became damage from sunlight but when I got in touch with customer services at Bosmere, they replied extremely promptly and helpfully sent me a replacement, even though the item was a little over 12 months old. I suspect mine may have missed out on the UV stabilisation process in the factory. I am now anticipating the arrival of my replacement cover and I am feeling confident that it will serve me well for a good few years to come.

Made from a good quality material. ” does what it says on the tin” However, because it is waterproof rain does pool on the top which can cause the canopy to bend with the weight.

Nice fitting cover in a nice green color. Good thickness flexible canvas like feel on the outside. Very pliable and covers the swing nicely. Two drawbacks: the stretch cords that came with the cover had no cord locks or way to cinch them closed. Also, the zippers are pretty light duty and the zippers do not lock – they do kind of pull open when the wind blows the cover or if you pull on the cover ends near the zipper. Overall, however a decent cover albiet a bit pricey.
