This compact unit is a replacement for our original Bristan unit. It mated up exactly and eliminated a costly plumbing bill. Bristan is a UK company not handled by Amazon in the US, but I found it on Amazon UK and was able to order it from them. The shipping was $50.00 or so but worth every penny !!! Great company to do business with!

Not a bad bit of kit. Bought to replace an old valve that had had its day. 138mm centres and a header tank that was only 50cm above the shower head so I needed something that was adjustable and could cope with low pressure. This does both. Easy to fit. My only grip was adjusting the temperature. The grub screw to take off the handle cover requires a 2mm alum key and the one they supply for fixing the valve to the back plate is 2.5mm. Even when you phone up Bristan they tell you it needs a 2.5mm key. I had to buy a whole new set of keys to find this out and 2 days of brisk cold showers waiting for them to be delivered. Once the cover is off adjusting the temperature is easy.

I needed a shower with 145 MM pipe centres. This fitted my requirement perfectly. Simple to adjust initial maximum temperature with a 5MM hex key. I had to increase my shower as it was a little cool even on the highest setting. I recommend removing the flow restrictors before fitting otherwise water flow is not so good. Easy to fit as it has plenty of adjustment.

Bought this as a replacement for an ensuite thermostatic shower with a faulty cartridge so the water wasn’t heating properly. The pipes were 120 mm apart instead of the usual 150 mm standard. It took the gas engineer less than an hour to replace, he had no problems. It looks great and pressure was good with the standard head, we had just changed to a mains pressurised hot water system so I’m not sure how this would be with an indirect tank fed system

Works well , we had to replace an existing mixer as valve had gone. Simple straightforward to install & delivers what’s needed

Love this shower… looks great.. easy to use and gives a good powerful shower too
as described and easy to fit if you have a few DIY skills. Particularly useful if you have, like me, centres (hot and cold pipes) which are not the standard 15cms apart – as this product is adjustable.
This is a very well made shower unit with a good sized shower head providing plenty flow through ( we have a pump for the showers).
We all like the one tap handle which turns the water on and then as you turn it clockwise, gets hotter. It also features a thermostatic control so the kids wont turn it too hot. overall I think it’s a very good shower. My one criticism is the chrome pipe from the tap unit up to the shower head requires at least two extra chrome saddles to make sure the fitting is secure to the wall. We had to get these separately and my advice to Bristan is they should be included to make the vertical pipe properly secure!

Very happy, looks great, great price, easy to fix – ticks all the boxes.
Bought the shower while having the bathroom done so I didn’t fit it myself although the builder did this with ease. Shower looks good and works well. There was a slight issue with temperature, apparently common in these showers. All we needed to do was unclip the white temperature panel and use an Alan key to adjust, has been fine ever since. Great buy at a good price.
