Improved desig
Have had two zing shower bars before and after a couple of years they have failed. First was fitted by the builder and lasted 5 years before failing and the second I got lasted three years before failure. This time, the bar sent has the temp control on the cold side, which I hope will mean less wear on the cartridge. The design has been improved, more stylish and the control to turn the water on and off has been made to be a lighter touch, which is good for those with less strength. Happy with this, 58 pounds, can;t really go wrong. Took me 5 mins to fit. Water off, old one off, new on one, water on and done!

Spoilt for choice, I knew I wanted a British brand, designed and made in the UK for added piece of mind. Having never fitted a shower valve before, I needed the simple option. This looked perfect. I simply removed the two bolts, checked the seals and replaced with the new one. Job took about 5-10 minutes max.
I kept the existing back fittings, as it was only my valve that needed changing. I didn’t need to adjust the temperature, but the instructions are clear if I need to.
The finish is perfect and I have zero leaks or issues.

Bought this to replace thermostat bar on existing one , just as cheap to buy whole thing than just cartridges. Although is same model they have improved the design and look. Fitting is easy and clear instructions . You would prob want to buy a new shower head, it’s a bit small one provided .

i have had fitted several of these fitted. bristan is a good value -supported- product. i have found triton mixers go wrong quite often and the generic ones you cant get spares for. if you have a fault you just isolate the supply and bolt the old one off and bolt another on. the loose handle below can just be the screw to tighten and the variable temp can be the cartridge but it can also be the impeller or other boiler water delivery fault or even low water pressure. we keep a spare unit to change out as required. its easy to dismantle and put in descaler and replacement o rings are available. it comes with good instructions. all in all bristan are a good make , even though most taps are made in china be they bristan, pegler or whoever they are made to british or european standard and are ok. again its the generic makes that often look cheap but thats for a reason.

Bristan is a great brand and this was great value too!
Had to replace our thermostatic bar as the tap was worn and wasn’t gripping. It was 10years+ old so a good brand just bought another to replace it.
Great flow of water and thermostat allows you to select the perfect temperature. Easy installation and water back on within 20mins and I’m not really a DIYer but I refused to pay a tradesman ridiculous money to ft it!

Excellent shower, highly recommended. Amazing pressure and temperature control. We have a pressurized system but even a Grohe shower, in another bathroom, isn’t as good as this and it was 6 times the price of this. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy agai

We had ours installed by a plumber when we moved into our new house.
Works great but after a few months the on and off switch came loose. So it’s now wobbly and can see the bolts.
Maybe ours was just faulty somehow.
But apart from that it’s been great.

I purchased this to replace an old Bristan shower. Fortunately, and as originally hoped, this shower had the same centres as the pipes plumbed into the wall, meaning it was a straight swap. Took 5 minutes.
The kit does come with some adjusters centres so double check you old shower before buying.
This has a very sleek design, unlike my previous shower. The body also stays cold when on.
Only issue I found is the temperature adjustment is on the opposite side to my old Bristan, meaning I’ve accidentally ended up with cold water when trying to turn the shower off.
Anyway, great value for money, cheaper than buying replacement parts!

Luckily I already did the first fix with a Mariflow PL8 kit that includes straight adapters/fixing for 150mm centres lining up the thermostat neatly with the holes. It’s not obvious from the description but the more expensive fast fit version includes these.

Chose this slightly smaller model as my shower cubicle is only 760×760. It fitted easily and looks modern.

Cheap shower mixer bar that does the trick. It looks great for the price and with it being a well known brand it should be reliable.
While it is tidy, the flow is slightly less than my previous Bristian shower bar, but still adequate.

Delighted, easy to fit and great pressure
Easy to fit, simply connect to the existing pipework using the fittings supplied. Water pressure is good. This shower is installed above, and about 30m horizontal from the water tank (unvented), really happy with the fit and finish, nice “Bristan” brand engraved. Highly recommended.

Big mistake, it lasted 12 months and when i called for an engineer under the ‘guarantee’ they quoted a 3 weeks wait. So, i took it out and replaced it with this Bristan, easy to install without any fuss. It does the job without complaint, should have brought a Bristan in the first place !!

Found this Bristan one on amazon for 50 (at the time of purchase). It arrived punctually 4 days later with all the fittings as described. It was in good condition, easy to fit and works perfectly. So far very pleased. Bargain.
