Expensive but fit for purpose Piece of deluxe metal does the job only slight negative is where around the USB ports from repeated insertion for which guards are provided but I didn’t fit. Would be 5 stars if cheaper!
Very sturdy and sleek The dock is VERY good quality and is perfect for me. It’s pretty heavy so you can put your laptop in and take it out of the dock easily with one hand and without worry of moving the dock accidentally.
This dock is ideally used with a usb c hub/dongle.
Only complaint, the dock seems to crunch a little when pushing my laptop for in. There are no marks on the laptop or anything, but it’s a noticeable crunch
This dock works great with my MacBook Air. I got back some valuable desk space. This dock works great with my MacBook Air. I got back some valuable desk space.
Product good, service very bad for 6 month, it work very well. Then it didn’t work, before I contact the service, I tried to change the cable, etc and I contact the service, I provide prof of purchase, videos, photos, everything, for 10 emails back and forth. The last email I received quote, ‘It’s not a Bridge product, you have to contact the manufacturer!”
I really. am astonished of the reply and I did everything they said and the last email was: No it’s not ours!
Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good product, when it works, But the Thunderbolt hub on the stand is deficient, they just need to send me one, and I could replace it my self!
For that, I strongly don’t recommand you to buy it, it is a gamble, it’s not made in the USA.
A fantastic docking station for my Macbook Ai A quality product that works really well with the Brydge Stone Pro.
I connected several devices (eg, monitor, video cam, etc) to the Stone Pro and the vertical dock to the Stone Pro.
I use an Apple bluetooth keyboard and mouse and it just all works very well.
impressive build quality impressive good build quality with heave metallic material. once holding the item in hands, its weight immediately tells its quality.
works flawlessly with a MacBook Air M1, LG Ultrafine thunderbolt monitor.
very impressive product, would definitely recommend!
Good but expensive This is a quality product. Solid. It is a bit of a thing to get the laptop to click into the ports but there is a knack to it, although my biggest concern is scratching the laptop. The way around that is wiping the top of the laptop and the edges of the dock before slotting it in.
Bellissimo e quanto spazio sulla scrivania!!!!!! Di design bellissimo avere il macbook in verticale sulla scrivania ed utilizzarlo a piacimento su di un monitor 27 pollici 4k il massimo!
There is nothing to unlike, clam mode is what it is ... and it works. I am not the primary user; my son uses it. I have the device connected to a USC-C hub where everything connects - mechanical keyboard, mouse, monitor, audio is routed through the monitor to external speakers. It clicks in and out. Happy so far. Lets see how it handles a year's worth of use. There is nothing to unlike, clam mode is what it is … and it works. I am not the primary user; my son uses it. The ultimate vertical docking solutio I’ve always wanted a docking system like this since first seeing it on a YouTube video. Since the Brydge is well priced I thought I’d give it a go.
The build quality of the dock is fantastic, it feels solid, strong and similar in style to the actual MacBook it will hold. The colour match is near identical to the Apple finish which is really impressing. The dock feels solid and like it won’t tip over even when a laptop is docked in it.
The dock is easy to setup and allows you the means to seamlessly swap for a mobile solution to a full desk setup by just dropping it into the slot. As a mobile photographer in my spare time this is fantastic as it allows me to take my laptop with me for reviewing shots but then I can dock up once home for editing.
A very good docking solution and we’ll worth the money.
Excellent build quality, weighty but sleek design, very pleased with it. This is an excellent laptop stand , a vertical dock for your macbook Air, I love the sleek design and it matches the colour of the macbook perfectly, the macbook sits quite high and is quite tall but it’s a great way to save space on your cluttered desk and makes everything look tidier.
What i like best is the confidence you get that your macbook is perfectly safe inside , it’s really easy to get your laptop in and out, the vertical dock is very well made , the stand is as solid as a rock, it has a bit of weight to it and is very sturdy with a wide stand at the bottom so there’s no chance of it being knocked over it’s a solid unit.
It may be weighty and solid but it has a really sleek look and has a beautiful finish to it that matches the macbook perfectly.
I’m very happy with this vertical dock , my desk looks a lot tidier , I’m very pleased with the performance so far , it has good cooling and ventilation properties too, so i have peace of mind that my expensive macbook is perfectly safe and it has improved the overall performance , I’m really liking this new set up.
Excellent build quality and safety features, everything you need is in the box and you will be up and running with it in no time.
A great tool when you use your MacBook Air as A desktop when you need it to be. However, I have noticed that sometimes docking the computer does not result in waking the screen. Not sure if it has something to do with wireless keyboard input or something to do with the OS itself. A great tool when you use your MacBook Air as A desktop when you need it to be. Sometimes it can be a little finicky getting the laptop seated in, but with practice it becomes second nature. Works wonderfully to clean up the desk top and help with smart cable layout and routing. Shows the Apple logo and looks great; finish matches the laptop perfectly. Can recommend as well worth having. Well-built AND DOES support the Macbook Air M1 I’ve seen a lot of folks put ratings that this doesn’t support the Macbook Pro M1 and thus they gave it fewer stars. This isn’t the version for the Macbook pro, it’s for the Macbook Air M1. And it works just fine. Mine just came in today (3 APR) and my 2021 Macbook Air M1 is sitting in the dock as we speak.
Side note, I’ve also read reviews where people are saying you need one of the ports to be directly connected to the charge port. While that might make sense for the Macbook Pro M1 that has additional fans and needs additional cooling, the Macbook Air M1 does not. Also, I went ahead and used a two-port USB-c hub with two usb-c extensions connected to it, to get past the brydge’s form factor. My charge cable is connected to the hub, not to the dock, and it is working just fine. My computer is charging, I have my external HD registering, my keyboard is working, no issues.
It’s a solid build. Heavy for its size but you need that for a solid base so it doesn’t fall over. I followed the directions and put a port protector sticker over my ports and I’ve not had any issues with scratching or anything else mentioned.
Is it expensive for what it does? Yes. But I really like the real-estate I save on my desk and it is nice to not have to jiggle the two-port connector of my hub out of the laptop ports- thus i know it will last longer overall. Hope this helps other folks who are curious about what it does.
This does a great job of holding the MacBook Air the only problem is that it doesn't expand the number of ports avialable. This does a great job of holding the MacBook Air the only problem is that it doesn’t expand the number of ports avialable.

Dock
A well-made, quality dock.
Solid and weighty.
Easy to set up.
MacBook feels secure once inserted.
Works well.
