Make Your Own Bubble Solution!
Step 1:
- Pour the warm water into a measuring jug
- Add the Sugar
- Mix until the sugar is disolved
- Gently add the washing up liquid
- Gently stir the mixture until it is completely mixed (be careful when stirring, as strirring to quickly may cause bubbles to form on top of the mixture, and this will result in shorter lasting bubbles from the Bubble Whale)
- Remove any bubbles that have formed on top of the mixture
Step 2:
- Carefully pour the mixture into the Bubble Whales reservoir.
- The solution is now ready to use on the Bubble Whale, but you will also get longer lasting bubbles if you let the solution rest for 6-12 hours.
Step 3:
- If you have mixture left over you can keep this to use at a later date by storing it in a clean, empty bottle.
- Different brands of Washing-up liquid will provide different results. If you’re not happy with the bubbles produced by the brand of washing-up liquid used, then you can try another brand and you may get much better results!

Wow….The best bubble machine ever! I bought this as a gift for a friend’s child…. I didn’t realise how good it was until I saw it in action at his party a few month’s later. All the parents (myself included) were in shock. I thought I had a decent one myself until I saw this in action! I immediately ordered one on the way home to upgrade ours too. It is simply an absolute parental game-changer – if you have a toddler, or want to buy this as a gift for one…. It puts all other bubble machines to shame! Go go go! I have now bought 3 and counting!

This is a great bubble machine but the best tip I can give is to get decent bubble solution, getting poor quality solution will give bad results and getting good quality solution will give awesome results. My nephew absolutely loves it.

The kids love this and it makes loads of bubbles. The batteries seem to be lasting very well. Only giving it a 4 as it seems to go through the bubble mix very quickly so you’re forever filling it up .

It works well. Batteries need changing from time to time and eats a lot of bubble liquid. So just purchase extra. My little boy loves. It was great entertainment for birthday party too. Recommend.

Bought this for my baby because a lady at one of the groups I go to uses it and he loves it. She has had hers for years in regular use so I was confident it would last.
This thing blows A LOT of bubbles therefore it really eats up bubble solution. You really need one of those 2l bottles with it. The one you get with it will last maybe 5 minutes.

Such a cute little machine, my 6mocouldnt stop staring at it.
Very efficient at producing bubbles and they go up nice and high to fill the room. Would recommend using outside or on an easily wipe able surface with a cloth handy as soapy water tends to spit out all over the machine but it is worth it for the fun. Just maybe don’t use it on an expensive rug or flooring!

Overall, this is an amazing purchase, given that I got it from the Amazon Warehouse Deals, so the price was slightly reduced. It comes with a bottle of dish washer liquid mixed with water, but you can very easily just make your own when it finishes, you pour it in the whale’s mouth and hold the button on the left.
If there isn’t a lot of wind, it looks like there are A LOT of bubbles and it’s really nice and satisfying. In the last picture, the wind was blowing the bubbles sideways, so it doesn’t really look like there were a lot of bubbles. The reason it makes more bubbles than the other machines is that it has two rows of rings inside, which spin pretty quickly, and the fan manages to blow them all out on time.
The only (kind of an) issue is that when the bubbles fall down all over the place, everything feels soapy, so DEFINITELY do this outdoors (and ideally nowhere near a place where you’d have to clean up yourself, and also when the bubbles go straight up, they fall back down onto the machine itself, so it might get sticky as well, but it’s fine if it’s outside.
Something to keep in mind is that when you move the machine while there is still liquid inside the whale’s mouth, it will most definitely spill, no matter how careful you are. The good thing is that it’s dish soap liquid, so it’s probably even good spilling that liquid left and right.
I would recommend getting this, because it’s not like those guns where you have to keep dipping in the dish soap solution, and it’s also not like those automatic machines that only have one row of rings, so they don’t produce as many bubbles.
Get this if you have a garden and children that could enjoy this in the nice weather.
This eats bubble liquid !
This is a great bubble machine and works really well but be warned it eats up bubble liquid so quickly!
Its also a little awkward to pour the bubble liquid mixture into the whales mouth. And if you tio the whale roo far forward to liquid runs out so best to leave it in one level place for the bubbles to come out.
Fast and furious bubbles
Simple operation. Seems to clean quite easy. And produces bubbles at a rate of knots. Super efficient bubble production until the bubble solution gets low. However you will have to get shares in bubble mix or learn to make your own as this stuff burns through the stuff. But it produces a really impressive effect. Great still photos. And the kids go wild for it. Worth it just to get 10 mins of quiet whilst it churns through the bubble mix.
We’ve used others and found the spout for pouring in/out bubble mix very handy to use.
The tail also doubles as a handy handle to keep it upright when positioning it on the floor.

Great fun and endless bubbles
I bought one of these after seeing my LO enjoy them so much at various baby classes. It’s sturdy and easy to use, just pour the mixture into the mouth, it can eat the solution up quite quickly if you’re going bubble mad so it’s worth getting some refill supplies
The only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is because it can be quite easy for the solution to spill out of the whales mouth.
I’d recommend using this outside if possible as the bubbles pop on the floor and leave a lot of residue behind quite quickly – no fault of the product just the nature of having lots of bubbles inside

Bought as a present for our grandaughter and she loves it and so does her cat!!! Bubbles go upwards not to the side and flow freely. All in all a winner.

This is a really good bubble machine. Grandson loves it. Beware, batteries don’t last long enough in our view, but it’s worth it. So many bubbles come out of it, now grandson calls me nana bubbles. You will need a big outdoor space to fire it up, as it’s bubble mayhem lol. Very much recommend.

Bubbles Galore!
This really does do what it says it does. A couple of my friends had these so I purchased one for my grandsons. Absolutely brilliant when all of the children are playing in the garden and this wonderful whale churns out hundreds of bubbles 🙂 That might be a slight exaggeration but that is what it seems like. Shrieks of fun 🙂

Brought for my three year old niece and she loves it! We were impressed with how many bubbles it makes, probably better as an outside toy. It is so goooooooddd!! We were testing it out before we introduce a 2year old to his new whale friend, and we were so impressed! We had it on for ages and it barely used any of the solution that came with it. We also tested a different solution and it worked just as well, if not better. In love!

Lovely little bubble machine. Great value for money. It works very well. I like that the bubbles come out of the top. My daughter loves it. So many bubbles! The bubble solution it comes with is very small though. The bottle will only fill it once so I suggest buying a big bottle from your local supermarket or toy shop.

Didn’t have high expectations but it works really well and it’sreally easy to use. My two year old loves it – I would recommend only using it outside – produces a lot of bubbles. I also made up my own solution with fairy-up liquid and it still works great.

This is brilliant! It creates so many bubbles! My 1.5 year old son absolutely loves it, we ran out of the bubble solution it came with pretty quick but it even works with the good old washing up liquid and water. So easy to use and you can take it anywhere! I’d recommend to anyone who loves bubbles!
Lots of bubbles
Lots of bubbles, great. My only problem with it is that the bubbles all fall down on top of it due to the hole being at the top of the whale so it gets white wet and slimy and a bit annoying to have to wipe it all down every use but it does kick out lots of bubbles up into the air unless it’s a bit too breezy then it obviously struggles a little bit. Has been a great lockdown activity for my daughter.
Perfect for kids, loads of bubbles
I’ve bought a few different bubble machines over the years but this is the best one by far. It dispenses a LOT of bubbles and is very reliable. My kids use this SO much that I had to eventually replace it after a few years of repeated use. They still love it. I’ve tried some others and they’re just not as good salt blowing as many bubbles. This can leak so it’s best on the ground. But great for kids, all the kids in our street come out when they are this little machine in our front yard!

Love this bubble machine and when it’s on it works brilliant but some slight design improvements could make it even better;
– higher lip around the mouth so that the bubble mixture doesn’t just spill out as soon as it is moved or picked up;
– have a way of using less mixture. Even when the machine stops working and you think there is no mixture left there is ALWAYS loads left in the machine.

Loads of bubbles! But leaks from the bottom
I was impressed with this, makes loads of bubbles without having to use much bubble solution, but it definately leaks a bit from the bottom. I used about a quarter of the bottle of solution it came with and about 10 mins later I lifted it up steadily and could see there was wet underneath and there was a very slow but steady stream of solution trickling out of the bottom of the machine. I’m not sure if that is deliberate because I couldn’t see how else you could remove the bubble solution from the machine, I just caught what was left leaking in the bubble solution bottle after I had finished using it.

My 4 year old daughter Loves this. The bubble mixture runs out pretty quickly but I just made more from washing up liquid and it worked fine. Its very durable as she’s dropped it a couple times and it’s still working great.

This is definitely not a bubble machine for using inside! It blows so many bubbles! My daughter loves it, and so does the dog I have had so many people ask me where I got it from, so is definitely a hit! Uses a lot of bubble mixture, but it’s easy enough to make with washing up liquid.
