Great boars for the price, as good as some more expensive ones
Arrived ready to use.
Easy to inflate. Handy repair kit canister but no glue, perhaps this should be mentioned in the description, although it does advise of this in the instruction booklet. Hold-all shoulder straps well padded and comfortable. Used on a calm sea, felt sturdy underfoot. Used by 10yr old, teenagers and adults. Arrived ready to go and it went well, much fun.
Paddle board for beginners
Good quality, looks great and does exactly what it should. Took it out for sea trials last weekend and it was brilliant, only took 5 mins to inflate and we were off down the beach. Easy to deflate and pack away. If you are looking for a good quality product at a reasonable price, this is the one for you.

Great, reliable board
I have 2 of these now and they have been a reliable product. I have used them in the sea and on rivers. As you would expect from a board of this size, manually pumping it up with the supplied pump takes about 10 to 15 minutes.
With this, I would also recommend downloading the ‘Go Paddling’ App which is really good for finding locations to take the SUP Board, where to launch and what to expect from local facilities.

First time
Jumping on the paddle board bandwagon. Very hard to find the difference between a 140-400 sup board so went closer to cheap side and so far (2 uses) very impressed with board. Able to stand up even going over waves. Board itself is a nice colour. The pump is very good and has deflate option to make packing away easier. Waterproof phone case is nice to have. All in all so far very happy With purchase. Quick delivery
First time paddleboarde
After trying a friend’s paddleboard I was hooked! After reading the reviews, I bought this one. It has not disappointed one bit. Its sturdy, comes with everything you need to get started and light enough to carry on your back. I’ve been out several times so far, and managed to stand for quite a while!
Excellent paddleboard!
Excellent paddleboard! I searched online reviews and YouTube videos for various different boards and decided this was the best one. Can not fault it! So much so I had to buy a second one for me, we now own two CalmMax Beachbees and are loving using them in the sea and lochs nearby our home.
They are quick and easy to inflate and deflate.
TIP – THE VALVE HAS TWO POSITIONS, make sure you double check and that it is not clicked into the deflate position before you inflate the board or you will loose all the air when you detached the pump!
Can’t fault it for the money, got one for me and in for my girlfriend, I got the aqua one and she got the yellow and black bee one.. the quality is better than expected. I’ve not had the pump issue that some have had but I’ve got a spare so have two chances..!
My girlfriend is 5’1″ and weighs nothing so doesn’t even dent the water surface, I’m 16 stone and don’t have any issues with buoyancy at all.
As beginners, it took a few minutes to grow the confidence to stand up constantly but it comes quickly so don’t be afraid, that said, there’s no shame in sitting or kneeling..
The oar is as good as I was expecting
It to be, has a continuous adjustment for varied height people.. have a quick search on YouTube for the correct use, many people use the oar upside down!
The board itself feels like it’s made with good quality materials, it is very buoyant and sturdy and tracks quite well and doesn’t feel sluggish in the water, don’t expect to paddle on one side all the time and keep a straight line, you’ll have to swap occasionally, however good your technique..
My fin slots in and out with ease and the retaining clip goes in lovely, but it’s a bit stiff getting the clip back out, I use a car key just to press it down a bit, doesn’t bother me to be honest and I know the fin is locked in firmly.
The only thing I don’t like is the white foam deck on my board, I’m in and out of the river and it shows the dirt and does stain slightly as mud does, don’t get me wrong, it doesn’t go black but I’m fussy and a black deck would have made it perfect for me.. Don’t put off buying one, just do it, you won’t regret it. This board, for the money I spent, was a bargain a well known outdoor retailer sells one for 50/60 more, yet is far inferior.
Lastly, if you’re still here..! don’t worry about feeling like you’ve got a cheap board on the water, I pass many really expensive boards, red, two bare feet etc, and while they might have a slightly better design, but it’s much a muchness when you’re all out there..

I cannot begin to say how much I love this board. Had a Fayean before but couldn’t master it then I got this and away I went . Totally everything I wanted out of boarding. And I love the colour (I got yellow) I cannot recommend it enough
Hold all bag
Love the board and starter kit that came with it but the bag zipper failed on the maiden voyage. Need wraps around the bag to stop the kit from falling out. Would love to say I am completely happy with it but a worry with the cheap zipper that comes with the carry all bag.
I run an outdoor Adventure business And rent out paddle boards. Also give lessons and this board is amazing. I’ve surfed waves on it just fine . It also holds a larger person very well too. Best board for the price . Will be buying a few more of these for sure

Great board for the price. I bought another board on her that was slightly cheaper and it never even made the water – parts missing and product damaged so I wasn’t confident in buying another board. I’m happy to say this was all it is made out to be – great budget board. I’m 6″2 and hold up fine.

Bought this for my husband and great as it has everything you need for the beginner and folds neatly into the backpack so easy to transport. Ralph is loving being on the board too

Update:
After messaging the seller regarding the pump they contacted me quickly with a method to test it, basically it doesn’t register ‘low’ pressure but does work when the pressure is near the ideal range. The bag issue was also noted and they are working on a solution/small payback of cash for the inconvenience. Nice to see a seller actively seeking to quickly solve issues.

The pump pressure gauge was inoperative on delivery meaning I have to guess the correct inflation level. Generally well made, the bag shoulder strap has ripped slightly after first use but still serviceable. Commented on sellers profile with regards to pressure gauge, no response to date.
amazing sup board BUT ....
for a 180/200 the board is amazing, i surf longboard and i can say I’m very happy with the board and very surprised it holds to adults, i would give a 5 star but the pump is a little broken out the box (still works) and the paddle needed a little TLC on the quick release system……again the board itself is a 5 star just the package could do with some work (UPDATE) i reached out to calmmax after buying a seconded board and they sorted everything so 5 star board and calmmax brand gets a 10/10 for there service
Great value and quality
Really good value for money, well built and very durable. Highly recommend, please note that with all SUP board pumps, you have to keep pumping until there enough pressure inside for the pump to register on the gauge, don’t assume it’s broken, just keep on pumping !
Inflation advice – the pump has two sides one to inflate (in) and one to deflate (out) unfortunately ours were labeled wrong. But this doesn’t affect the ability to inflate, just switch the hose over if your having trouble.

First observations – unboxing
Comes with a comprehensive manual,
All parts are present. The board itself is a beast. I’m most impressed by the anti – slip foam top. Neither of my previous boards have this, they just have an anti slip coating.
It has a good grab handle, plenty of rings to atach accessories.
The front cargo bungees offer a really good storage space. Perfect for a dry bag or some fishing gear.
This is slightly bigger than our two previous paddle boards. As we often like to take out our neice or nephew and the additional room is a bit of a bonus. We’ve also been considering using it for some recreational fishing.
Pleanty of room to sit two adults on this if you wanted, or a dog or 1 or two small children or just one teenager.
The backpack is spacious and sturdy. It has plenty of room for everything paddle related including the pump and some extra for shades a dry bag, a towel and a boyency aid of your choice, or whatever accessories you feel you need for your paddle experience. However my son could not even get the paddle board in. You need to roll them tight when deflating.
If your taking children obviously make sure they have a life jacket on, if you don’t want to wear a jacket yourself there are some amazing dry bag boyency aids available that just clip around your waist.
Included is an aluminium paddle, that is extendable.
A repair kit, a manual pump (although I’m going to confess that we invested in an electric pump last year, as I was finding it difficult to pump up the board on my own.) it’s easy up to a point but you need to make sure you get it to the right Psi or it will just be floppy in the water.
You are also given a water bag for your phone. It has a cord so you can atach it to the board or yourself. It’s worth taking a phone for safety and obviously pictures.

What can I say absolute fantastic board. Perfect for newbies like myself. Even had other family members wanting to purchase as found so much better than their 3 boards. Highly recommend this board and definitely buying another soon.

We have already got a Bluefin paddle board and decided we needed another.We didn’t want to spend the same amount as we thought it was expensive and after reading the reviews we decided to buy this board which I was really impressed with.The board has a quality feel and look and for us performance was similar to the bluefin but at a budget price .We have know regrets in purchasing this Sup Board ,the Yellow looks amazing and stands out too .

Only used once but seems value for money.
The two small rear fins are fixed which is a pain when packing away.
Doesn’t inflate to as higher psi as other makes but then they are more expensive. Only 15, others are 18psi.
Only one grab handle which makes it challenging when getting it in & out of the water.
Not criticisms, just FYI for potential buyers.

This is a great first board.
Very easy to set up get started nice and quick.
Great on the water and very balanced. A lot of us used from teenagers to adult and we all managed to stand so suitable for different heights and sizes.
Had a slight issue removing the fin when packing away as the little clip was a little stiff (means it won’t come loose when on the water) but other than that that may become easier with more use it is a fantastic product would highly recommend for anyone looking for an all round isup.

I’ve been out twice so far in the ocean and the board has been pumped up 3x, once in the house to check for leaks.
I had issues with the pump leaking (just can’t get a seal at all so if I’m not pumping there’s a large quantity of air pouring back out of it). I haven’t contacted the seller so I’m not taking a star off for that, as I’m sure they’d replace it. I got a different pump from a local camping store and have tried a car battery pump also (takes forever, quicker to manually pump!)
It is hard work pumping it up but worth it – once it’s ready to go (ten mins max) and you’re out on the water you forget your sore arms. It is a very stable board so I think beginners would have no issue standing up. It is very easy to deflate, I just start rolling it up from the opposite side to the plug and the air pours out. It fits nicely in its backpack.

Well, the majority of reviews for this are 5star, so I picked this as it’s not a cheap one that has the possibility of the paddle snapping on the first stroke.
As soon as it arrived I went straight in for the kill, instructions to the side and off we go. So easy to get it done as even I can work a pump. Just wanted to check it went up and down ok as this is for my 10 year old daughter. Very impressed with the grip on the topside. The handle is put together well and makes it easier to carry when inflated. Fins and not thin and cheap looking so that is a big thing. The leash is top class, this won’t fall to bits any time soon! Same with the paddle. Clip one section in and then you have a telescopic section that is inserted into that one. Again, well made. The rear fin is slotted in with a securing pin that clips into place.
Must say, I am very very happy with this. If it wasn’t for Christmas I’d be out just now.
Can’t wait to see my daughter’s face.

We love going for paddling as a family, got this one as upgrade as our dog managed chew side of my old one.
I choose yellow model as more visible on water than blue coloured one. looks quite nice very happy with its look.
it also come with a lot of side extras which many times I had to purchase separately. So this one came with carry case, pump, waterproof phone case and paddle as well.
When fully expanded and fins attached it very stable and can suite users upto 300lbs , im well below than weight but good to know.
So far quite happy with package, good value for money, hope my dog will not chew this one as well.

So far I have only been out on it a few times but have found it very stable and easy to inflate and deflate however the addition of an electric pump is a good idea as the hand pump can be tiring. Fits well in the carry bag.

So far I love it. I find getting it up to the right PSI is a bit challenging (especially at the end) but I have taken it out 3 times so far and it has been amazing. I also have loved how portable it is! I would highly recommend

It hasn’t lost air, it’s very sturdy to paddle one.
I was able to kneel, stand, sit and do a bit of yoga, very comfortably.
Has rings for kayak seat.
The other board I have is more narrow at both ends, and is wobbly.
Great purchase for occasional rider.
Will post updates if anything changes.
