having looked at the costs of a chain on the high street and noticed the costs with amazon even with p+p the amazon chain was far better value for money.once upon a time a have it now would have won out but no longer, in the greater scheme of things whats a couple of days.delivered on time as promised great value for money. whats not to like?

I read all the mixed reviews, yet I purchased it. It’s really fine and has a barely there weight on your neck, however it did not come tangled and doesnt look like it can cut easily.
I just received it and so cant say much on its durability , but I have received loads of comments on it already.
Please note that you cant wear heavy duty pendants on it.

Very fast delivery. Lovely presentation box but too big for the fine chain. Like other reviewers it took 10 mins to untangle the chain (with the help of a pin and magnifying glass) but it is worth the struggle! Very sparkly and just the right length.

Lovely delicate chai
I bought this chain to replace one which had broken when I caught my finger in it. After reading other reviews I was a bit hesitant as I didn’t want another one to break quickly. I was pleasantly surprised with this one as it looks a lot stronger than the previous one and is really good value for money. If you want a stronger, chunkier one you would have to pay a lot more. This is very good value for money and just what I wanted.

A delicate and pretty chai
I wanted a very thin delicate chain to put a pendant stone on as my husband had given it to me with a chunky gold plated chain which didn’t really go with such a small stone. This was exactly what I wanted. It arrived quickly and in a nice presentation box. I wasn’t bothered by the narrowness of the chain, because that was what I needed, and as it was in its own box it arrived in good condition. I think that it was worth the money.

This chain looks nice on but it is very thin and feels fragile. It looks like it will break very easily but I have worn it on a few occasions and slept in it one night by mistake. Fortunately it is still all in one piece so it may be stronger than first thought.If it goes the distance then it was a really great buy.

It’s a nice looking chain the picture doesn’t do it credit. It’s bit on the thin side with A very fiddly clasp. But it’s cheap enough with a good sturdy link shines nice on the neck and holds a pendent lovely.ive looked ata few and this chain came out on top for price look and size it’s just the right thing for my pendent.postage was quick as well as package was well wrapped and came in a nice presentation box, really was a great buy

I bought this as I had pendants and all my chains had snapped. I didn’t want anything to thick so I chose this one and its perfect.
Was expecting (having read other reviews) it to arrive all tangled and knotted up. But fortunately it didn’t and was excellently packed up in a display box. Was really impressed with the diamond cutting and whilst the chain is not as thick as you’d like the diamond pendant that it holds is safe and secure on this chain and it is stronger than it may look. An excellent curb chain with an expensive air to it although it was very reasonably priced.
Would strongly recommend this chain as a lovely gift and well worth the price paid. Well done Amazon for sourcing it.

The chain is quite thin and the online picture can be deceiving for this, but the chain is made well and has a good linkage. I read a previous review stating someone had received it all tangled… I received mine tangled too, but this is going to happen as it rattles about in its box during transit. With a little care and a little patience I was able to free the tangles in about 15 minutes

After reading the other reviews, I was a little worried about ordering this item as I thought it might be so thin it would snap easily. However, I was delighted to find that it was not so thin after all and the links are small and tight making it much stronger than those you pay considerably more for in the high street. All in all for the price it is a good item and comes in a lovely presentation box, excellent to give for a gift.

The necklace itself it exaclty as advertised, much stronger than it looks (is holding my Mothers engagement ring very easily. I would recommend this and purchase again if it was required. The only downside is the packaging> The neclace was not tangled, even though the box was big enough for a watch, as it was fixed inside. However, the box it was posted in was huge, twice the size of an iphone box! not only is this a waste of trees but it cannot go through a letter box. So if you’re not home to recieve it, you’ll have to collect from teh post office. there is absolutley no reason it needs so much packaging!

I bought this chain as I had a small diamond studded “A” pendant from a girlfriend, but no chain for it. I didn’t want to spend a fortune, but also wanted real gold.
This chain is very thin, but to be honest I quite like that for an understated everyday necklace.
It’s also a VERY yellow gold, so be aware of that.
I have not taken it off for a couple of weeks and have had no problems with it, even while I sleep so although the chain is fine, it is sturdy enough-you can’t expect any more for this price!

The chain is lovely but I needed some thing a bit thicker, I didn’t realise how thin it actually was so I had to send it back. I would of kept this chain although I needed one to put a ring on and I don’t think this necklace would of been strong enough to wear for a long period of time, it is very nice though if you are just looking for a thin chain to put a small pendant on.

Just as it says on the can – a very nice, fine, white gold chain which is just the right length for me. This came boxed and the chain had got caught up in the interior but was soon extricated. I wanted a chain to replace one that was broken, for a couple of charms that I have worn for years, this did exactly that.
Having read some of the other reviews I was worried that this necklace would arrive in a tangled mess and break within the first day of wearing it, but on the knowledge that I could return it if I wasn’t happy with it, I took the risk… and how pleased I am that I did! Its perfect! Its the right length for my diamond pendant and although its delicate and light, its also very strong and certainly isn’t going to break without some considerable force. It arrived in a black jewellery box, with gold coloured detailing, 22cm long by 5cm wide, which was encased in a white card wrapper. The necklace was held in place inside the box by 2 tabs, which kept it from tangling. I also think the pricing is excellent, you’ll find it very hard to find the same necklace in the high street for less than 70 (believe me I tried!).

I proposed to my girlfriend on the weekend. I knew she wanted to choose a (white gold) ring with me and so I bought this to present to her at the time of asking. And she loves it! It is quite subtle, but lovely colours – it really does sparkle. The build does look a little delicate as others have commented, but I feel this is to be expected on such a chain. Afterall, I suppose it’s not meant to be worn all day, every day (although my fiance is yet to take it off almost a week later!) She will be buying a charm to accompany it in due course…
One word of caution in case anyone also plans to present this as a surprise: Whilst the presentation case it comes in is perfectly adequate, it is on the large side and so difficult to conceal on one’s person without arousing suspicion!

Absolutely wonderful for my white gold Crucifix pendant, the 16″ length is perfect and it’s a very delicate chain (just what I wanted). Wonderful for ladies! It is a delicate piece, almost disappears on my tan skin with glints of light from the diamond cutting, but that is what I wanted. I was able to put a small/medium size is pendant on it without issues so far.
It’s about 1/2 a millimetre thick, pleasant yellow gold colour. Only had it a few days now.
To me it looks good, I barely notice it when on.
I knew this was going to be a ‘fine’ necklace and when it arrived it was what i expected, although i was not impressed with the way it actually arrived. it came in a box which is more suited for an out stretched watch rather than a fine necklace, and this is what caused it to become tangled and knotted. But with the help of a needle and a steady hand the knot was soon unraveled and the necklace was ready to be given to my as a gift.
She loves it due to the fact it is so fine, yet remarkable strong considering, although i wouldn’t use it for bungee jumping of course.
If your after a nice looking, delicate necklace at a good price then look no further as this one is for you.
The only reason i dropped a star is due to the terrible package that this came in and the fact that i had to untangle it before giving it as a gift.
It took me two days to unravel the chain which arrived as a solid knot. This might be something to bear in mind when packing the item.

The gift arrived promptly this morning. Like other reviewers and purchasers we had the same problem when opening the gift box – the chain was all knotted. We eventually untangled it and it is lovely. We would suggest that the chain is presented in a smaller perhaps square or oblong box rather than the long box which would be more suited to heavier chains. It also needs to have anchorage within the box. The chain itself is of good quality and as others have stated when compared to jewellery shops represents good value
