I also think it would be great for a college dorm room or apartment. Easy to pack up and move. A very cool functional, quality bookcase for price. Not in least disappointed. Very impressed actually. I put it together in minutes. I'm a busy Mom and I did it all by myself.

These are fabulous shelves! I bought two of them and nothing I have ever bought has been easier to assemble. The frame has some sturdiness to it but is not heavy. It comes like a trifold and then you just snap the shelves in. I am in love with the aesthetic and convenience of these shelves. I am excited to see how they hold up over time.

This thing is soooo sturdy and really cute. I cannot say how impressed I was with it and how many compliments I have gotten. I went back and forth trying to decide whether to purchase because of the price but I absolutely love it and do not regret the purchase one bit. Took longer to carry it from the door to living room than it did to assemble. Cannot recommend this enough.

Quick delivery, good value of money, takes 5 mins to assemble, looks great (good colour and design, very good style) and it is very sturdy.
I was worried a bit if it will hold all my books or is it gonna break from the heavy stuff but then I was surprised that it actually holds a lot of weight. If you have doubts about it, check the picture attached below.

This literally snaps together in minutes and it by far the easiest thing I’ve ever put together. It is really good quality looks great! If I ever need more shelves I would definitely buy another one.

It is extremely well made. Very sturdy. I do a lot of sewing/making quilts etc and I needed a place in my sewing room to arrange and keep all my sewing accessories etc. The shelves are nice and big and I also love the fact that you can leave one shelf out on any level if you need extra height for something! Super-easy to put together! I highly recommend this product!

This bookcase is perfect for my home office. I had it put together in less than five minutes and could not be happier. I needed something narrow enough to fit in a specific place and hold a bunch of books. This fits the bill and I’m so happy. I’ll definitely order another soon.
The shelves are very sturdy. One of the plastic grippers broke off, but the other three were able to hold the boards in place. I liked that I could put them together for 4 feet( -1 inch) and gave me 4 shelves and a top for decorative purposes. I believe it was a good value.

I have put some heavy books on these shelves, and I see no flex or sag at all. It is also very stable on thick carpet, no wobble at all. While maybe slightly pricey for the components, this ease of assembly and solid construction is worth it in my opinion.

I got this because shelves were needed for my kitchen, and it works great. It is tall enough to fit a microwave in between shelves with about an inch and a half gap on the top. It holds all of my food organizers (14 sealed tight organizers) and my spice rack! Really happy with my buy, just wish it was a little taller with more height between the shelves to fit larger items.

Beautiful and Functional
This bookshelf is beautiful and functional.
As others have mentioned, I also find the deep shelves to be especially useful. I have a lot of books, but not a lot of space. However, because the shelves are so deep, I was able to double stack my books, and still leave some space for knick knacks and other ornaments.
This shelving unit was also one of the easiest pieces of furniture I’ve ever assembled. Some of the other reviewers mentioned having difficulty getting the shelves to lock onto the frame. I’m not sure if something changed since those reviewers purchased the item, but I did not have this issue at all. I was easily able to put the bookshelf together by myself in under 15 minutes. And despite being so easy to assemble/disassemble, it still feels really sturdy and like it will last a long time (unlike my now deceased, more expensive and difficult to build, IKEA bookshelf which died while I was moving apartments. The event which triggered this purchase as a replacement).
To help those still undecided, here’s a quick list of what I think are this bookshelf’s best qualities:
* Holds a lot of items, but doesn’t take up a lot of space.
* Easy to assemble/disassemble.
* Sturdy, reusable.
* Easy to store and move, especially in its disassembled state.
* Easy to meld into preexisting decor/furniture.
Though I was lucky enough to get this item during a flash sell, I would definitely buy it again at full price without any reservations.

Bought for plants, it's perfec
I bought this to hold my plants in front of my southwest facing windows. It is perfect for my plans. The second shelf up matches with my window sill and so I am able to use the top 3 shelves to store the plants and the bottom shelf to store the miscellany gardening supplies.
It was very easy to assemble, however, we had to put more pressure than expected to get the shelves into place. It was not problem at all to do, though.
We put our shelf on a high pile carpet against a window sill and it is very sturdy.

I love these shelves. I purchased this for my daughter’s 1st off campus apartment/bedroom. So easy to set up. Very sturdy. She could put a fan on the top shelf if she needs to. I bought some large canvas bins for the bottom 2 shelves for clothing & saved the top 2 shelves for loose girl stuff. I would definitely buy again if needed.

Ended up buying this for some pictures and stuff to go on and it works, but the color was a lot darker than the picture made it out to be. However, we found one at a local store that is the color we need so we will be getting that sometime soon and this will go in my daughters room for her books and movies. :)

The best flat-pack furniture experience I've ever had!
A shelf that assembles in 5 minutes, you say? Surely not.
Yes. Yes it absolutely does! This is by far the simplest assembly I’ve ever encountered; this company needs to make more pieces like this because it’s amazing and innovative. There are no tools required (no not even an “included allen wrench” or “well, you might need a hammer for tiny nails).
Simply unfold the frame, press the shelves down to lock the clips onto the frame sides (careful to align them correctly before you apply pressure), and presto! You’ve got a new shelf.

This bookcase is perfect. It’s light in weight but strong, very easy to put together and looks good. The shelves aren’t too close together so it works for A4 binders. Very happy with the purchase, especially given the price. I’ve ordered the matching desk now!!

Ordered two of these and I am so pleased with the quality. Delivery was early and the items were very well packed. Took ten minutes to open and set both bookshelves up. Was relieved to discover that the plastic clips on the underside of each shelf were black, not clear/white, and were clipped into place, after lining them up on the metal supports, with gentle pressure with the palm of my hand. I am using my shelves for mainly books, with the odd ornament, however, the surface of the shelves is a printed wood effect laminate. Fine for books and felt- bottomed nick knacks, but I suspect would scratch very easily. The colour of the shelves is an ashy brown, rather than a warm brown. The metal frame is matt black and very well assembled. Very sturdy and does not wobble. For anyone who loathes flat pack furniture I would highly recommend these and they are smart and stylish.

Very cute bookcase, I’ve put it in my living room and have all of my houseplants on it. It’s an ideal size and suits my home nicely.
The only potential issue I may have is that attaching the boards to the frame needed quite a bit of force, and I’m not sure I’ll be able to take it apart again. (Which is okay because I’m not planning to any time soon)

I’m not one to take the time to write reviews, but I am so impressed with this shelf that I had to share. Almost went with a slightly cheaper shelf, so glad I didn’t. My favorite qualities: 1) Ease of assembly – This was the easiest thing to put together. It took me literally 5 minutes to assemble, including the time to open the box & remove contents. No issues with pieces fitting together just right. Wish everything was this easy!; 2) Durability – The metal frame is solid, the “wooden” shelves strong & sturdy. Even though I’m currently using this more for toy storage, I can tell it can easily withstand loads of books if needed. You would expect such a strong piece of furniture to be heavy but it’s surprisingly light!; 3) Stylish, modern yet rustic look – Its sleek, minimal look fits perfectly with my decor, and the “wood”, although fake, appears to be good quality. No easily peeling veneer and I love the warm brown tone that has an almost gray tinge to it; 4) Compact storage option – I don’t have much storage space so I love the fact that if there comes a time I no longer need it but want to save it, I can fold this up and store it compactly & easily.
I realize this won’t satisfy all needs or wants, as it is on the smaller side for a shelf. So pay attention to dimensions if considering. I needed a shorter shelf to go along a basement wall below a high window, so I bought two, placed them side by side and it works perfectly for my needs.

This bookshelf requires minimal assembly, all that is need is to unwrap from box unfold and click into place the shelf’s, the bookshelf is sturdy and has lots of space to insert storage boxes, fits into small spaces and is made of very good metal frame and MDF shelf’s.

This is an extremely well built bookshelf unit. The frame is metal with sides that fold out and the shelves clip in place. Easy peasy…. no real assembly needed other than clipping the shelves in place.
I had a small issue with a shelf that arrived cracked. I suspect someone stepped on it in the factory. I contacted the vendor about the problem along with a picture of the issue. They resolved the problem promptly. I would definitely order from them again.

This was really easy to assemble. So many pieces of furniture are supposedly easy to assemble, but for someone living alone with limited DIY skills, this can be a nightmare. But this was so easy – done in 5 minutes. I wanted a bookcase that is easy to move around and will fit into a small space, and I am using it just for books. Solid and strongly built, it is just what I needed. A great buy.

It was absolutely perfect for what I wag looking for. I need a bookshelf to hold my supplements, workout gear like resistance bands and gloves etc, protein powders, gum bag and more, plus some fitness books. It fits perfectly in the space I needed it to and holds all I wanted it to. It's small if you're wanting it for books. I got a different shelf for books. But it's great for decorations or little projects like mine. I had this put together within 5 minutes and it only took that long because of removing the packaging and battling a 3 month old puppy. It was absolutely perfect for what I wag looking for. I need a bookshelf to hold my supplements, workout gear like resistance bands and gloves etc, protein powders, gum bag and more, plus some fitness books. It fits perfectly in the space I needed it to and holds all I wanted it to. It’s small if you’re wanting it for books. I got a different shelf for books. But it’s great for decorations or little projects like mine. I had this put together within 5 minutes and it only took that long because of removing the packaging and battling a 3 month old puppy. My shelf is placed on carpet, not extremely sturdy. If you want to place valuables on this I would suggest a more sturdy option; however, it does sit much better on tile or wood floors. All I did to help is anchor it to my wall with a piece of metal I bent to shape, painted black, and screwed in. All in all I am happy with my purchase, I was on a budget and this shelf does exactly what I need it to do. My only discretion is if you are placing valuables on it.

Exactly what you pay for, slightly lower in height than I first thought, however when books were placed on I realised the number of books it can hold. Put together in 10 mins.
I absolutely love this bookcase. It’s design and functionality is perfect. It’s light and easy to move around, plus detachable (shelves). I’ve attached strip lights to the back panels so it looks even better …full geek mode. Really happy I waited and bought this instead of going for another more conventional boring design/brand. PS. Wish there was a 3 or 2 tier version for bedrooms.

I absolutely love this shelving unit. I was a little unsure about the color as most of my ‘real wood’ is warm tones, but it worked out perfectly. It is not real wood and the tones are more brown/gray, but you literally open the box, unwrap, stand up the unit and snap on the shelves. A 3 year old could do it! It’s not too heavy, but very sturdy as I’m using it for my books and plants in the kitchen. This will continue to have use throughout my home. Great purchase.
Good product easy to build
The product is good and very easy to erect however one internal box containing a shelf was slightly damage and there was a mark in the shelf. The damage was not seen on the outside of the main box so the damaged product was packed that way. Once the shelf was fitted the mark was behind a frame so not visible

Small and compact but solid
Like a lot of people I didn’t pay much attention to the dimensions but that is my only minor quibble. It is easy to put together in 5 minutes and is extremely solid. Ideal for the space I was looking to put it in and bought this along with matching desk. Highly recommended.
This is by far the best bookcase I have ever bought and put together ,it’s literally took about 5 minutes, in fact it took longer to get out of the packaging, it looks absolutely fab too
This is a great product, it is possibly the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together and it suits the purpose for which I bought it. It is fairly tall with plenty space between each shelf and is very portable – which was the main selling point for me. Worth noting from the product description that the shelves are not made from real wood but rather have a wood effect. The frame is also ‘iron coated’. This is noticable and means the product has less of a premium feel but it looks good nonetheless and actually adds to its portability/lightness.

We are really pleased with this item. We wanted a neat bookcase with high shelves which would take tall books, to fit in a small space. We are also not very good with flat packs, so wanted something easy to assemble. This bookcase fitted the bill exactly. It is easy to unfold it and fit the shelves, but it is still sturdy and nice to look at. Brilliant – would highly recommend
I like this product. If I could make changes I would make the shelves easier to snap on or make them a hinge type that just fold down. The shelves have a faux wood look, it looks like faux woodgrain contact paper, but they are sturdy. I prefer bookshelves that fold/unfold without being taken apart that are sturdy, that's why this product appealed to me. If you added more shelves to this product, that would be terrific! I use my bookshelf to store wide (2-3 inches in width) three ring binders and they fit very well. I have folding wooden bookshelves that hang over the shelf.

I love this shelf! It was the perfect size for all my books and didn’t take up a lot of space! It was SOOOOO easy to put together! I’m also usually very picky about stuff trying to look like wood because I usually want real wood but the shelf’s don’t look bad at all! As you can see in the picture I also have the matching desk. The metal was in good shape too and didn’t feel cheap at all! And both are very sturdy! If you need small office furniture I would definitely recommend this!
Price was good and love the portability of it. I use it for craft fairs to display my products and it folds up and sets up so easily. The only complaint is that the wooden shelves are like a vinyl sticker and have peeled off in two corners, but it is towards the back so it is okay with me.

Couldn’t be more happy! It is great looking, a cool mix of materials, and is holding everything perfectly.
It is solid, made of quality materials, well manufactured, and, because of it’s clever design, only takes moments to put together.

Very good shelving uni
We bought two of these shelving units to go into our porch as the units are relatively petite. They are very sturdy and well made and look good.
Purchased two of these for a basement music studio to hold books, manuals, and media.. It also neatly holds a QSC K-8 monitor on the third shelf without difficulty.
PRO: Well packaged, very easy to assemble (place shelves), very nice aesthetics, very sturdy, and the collapsible feature is wonderful should it ever need to be moved or stored.
CON: Not really a negative as you get what you pay for, but the shelve’s wood veneer is simple wood contact paper. With that being said, the seams could/should be better sealed. As a consolation to this negative, the seams are not visible as they are on the underside of the shelf.
WISH: I would’ve gladly paid much more for this shelf had it offered a finished “cut” wood shelf option.
I’m a broke teacher, straight out of school. My other teachers probably know…I have a LOT of books. I’m tired of buying bookshelves that break when you try to move them, so I wanted to try something that would last. I thought $87 was WAAAAAY too much for a bookshelf, especially one that was a little more than half as tall as the cheap ones from Walmart or Target. (And twice the price!)
I couldn’t find anything else foldable and cheaper that had consistently good reviews, so I sadly bought this.
It’s worth it. It light, cute, easy to assemble, and SUPER easy to disassemble and fold up–you just pop off the shelves from the metal shelf brackets, no damage done! It has plenty of space for my books! In another paycheck or two, I will probably be buying another one!
Also, customer service sent me an email and said they were available 7 days a week if I needed anything. Awesome.

Sturdy item that looks good and is easy to assemble. Have used as a bookshelf -the shelves have no problems with supporting the weight. Bought one and was impressed enough to buy a second to put next to it.
Easy to assemble, except the clips don’t actually clip. The shelf seems sturdy enough otherwise, but at certain angles you can see that the clips aren’t clipped in. I bought this shelf to put a printer and binders/books for school. I wasn’t sure if there would be enough height between the shelves but the heigh is perfect for binders and books. It also matches the desk I bought at Aldi’s perfectly; I wasn’t looking to spend this much originally on a shelf, but I didn’t have to build it and it matches the desk I bought. Not the nicest looking piece of furniture but it works well and looks pretty nice for my college apartment.

For me, this is just about perfect. Loses a star, we’ll cover that later. Starting with the good bits.
It’s very sturdy, and arrived very well packaged. Even though it’d clearly been banged up in transit the bookcase itself was completely unharmed, they really thought through how to protect it while being shipped. It appears to be made of real metal, and something at least close to wood. It’s pretty heavy, but not too terribly so. For me the size was perfect for the use I had in mind, just keep in mind this is not going to be a floor-to-ceiling bookcase.
Now for the less great stuff, and these are somewhat minor. The snaps that secure the front of each shelf to the metal braces are VERY hard to secure. I put my over 200 pound weight into it and still couldn’t get the top shelf to click into place. Luckily it was easier to just step on the bottom shelves until they clicked. There’s really no reason these should be so difficult to snap into place, but on the other hand, if you’ve got most of them clamped on the only real concern is that the shelves aren’t level and they’re only off by half an inch. So that’s fine, I can live with it.
Secondly, and this isn’t at all the product’s fault, but it takes a LONG time for these items to arrive. I purchased mine through Prime with 3 day shipping. It shipped on Wednesday, and was delivered the following Tuesday, with two mechanical delays on the part of UPS along the way. I guess it’s big enough that they need special equipment to move it? Anyway, just plan ahead. If you’re choosing 3 day shipping, assume it’ll take a week.
Naturally returning this thing would be a nightmare, so do your homework before buying and make sure it’s the size you need.
