I previously bought the element blocker 3 in 1 jackets by Columbia but hated the zips which were not smooth. I bought this Ridge Gates 3 in 1 when I saw the North Face equivalent was 3 to 4 times the price. This is a quality jacket with excellent zips. I found it warm and it kept the wind out. I have worn the inner jacket seperately and it is both smart and warm. May buy another in a different colour. Highly recommended.
Excellent jacket the inner layer is a very smart jacket o bought it for going places like of Orkney and Shetland and it’s kept me dry and warm
Ich habe die Jacke in XL bestellt (was ich eigentlich berall brauche). Leider fiel die Jacke viel zu gro aus. In L gab es die leider nicht mehr. Das Material selbst wirkte sehr hochwertig, weswegen ich mir eine andere Jacke von Columbia bestellt habe (die in L auch passte , also XL wre dort ebenfalls zu gro gewesen) . Das Material ist wasserdicht und winddicht. Die andere Jacke besteht aus dem selben Material mit der Omni-Tech Technologie, daher kann ich das so besttigen. Die Jacke war sehr leicht! Ideal also als BackUp fr den Rucksack. Die Reiverschlsse waren hochwertig wie auch die gesamte Jacke. Sehr schade, dass es diese nicht mehr in meiner Gre gab. Htte sie sehr gerne behalten.
The zips are top quality American yyk zips, best I have had, self lubricating the more you use the smoother apparently they become. Also jacket and padded liner good quality. Very satisfied would definitely buy again. Shame other makers use zips of lower quality.
