Researched extensively before choosing and feel thoroughly vindicated that did so. Not only does it look neat and uncluttered unlike many of its competition but beats them hands down on functionality with comprehensive instructions, ease of use such as removable square basket, simple to use presets and build quality. Kids have been road testing and great results with variety of stuff including bacon, frozen chips and aubergine. Thoroughly recommend buying.

3 Meals cooked with it. so still learning. watch a few you tube video’s learnt some hints etc. I love it. food cooks faster. chicken is moist, chips / wedges crips. Did bacon to day with a egg in a ramekin. My only thing watching the American video’s their air fryer same make has a lift out handle for the basket. With disabilities wish I researched that. the little shelf thing bit fiddle to get out to clean. Doing the bacon today few nooks and crannies. But I adore it, and as it just me now in a tight space really useful. Looking forward to more recipes.

The finish on this air fryer says quality ,square pot fits more food in, and the silicon rubbers that stop the plate inside from falling out when you tip food out is a great touch. The heat from this thing is fierce, making for rapid cooking, the pot locks solidly in place and a push button unlocks it. If I had one minor complaint, it’s that when it’s switched on, the top glass display all lights up except the presets, so you can’t see them until you press one, which is kind of pointless.

Very easy to use. In-built settings are mostly adequate for chicken, fish and vegetables. Fairly easy to clean and quiet too.

Remember that cooking with this doesn’t take as long as the oven. It will take you a few goes to learn how long stuff takes.
I’ve found it to be excellent and much more efficient than using my oven.

I’ve had this for two days now. I can’t wait for work to end so I can throw some marinated chicken thighs in this and 15 mins later have the most delicious dinner! This is a stylish piece of kit that looks as amazing as it cooks. It’s super easy to clean and is now my go to item when hungry. The technology in this fryer is designed to ensure you have great food without fuss and it all works brilliantly.

I washed it throughout, but only two times before finally cooking something.
It smelled plastic-y, but only on a reheating cycle before cooking (first prepping machine, just like in instructions)
Smell was gone in 30-40 minutes.
Cleaning the machine is very easy, I do it by hand, since I do not own a dishwasher. It doesn’t scratch, only thing that bothers me is loud peep after stopping the machine, setting temperatures, time of cooking, or at the end of cycle.
But I guess that’s handy, if you’re not in the same room, as air fryer is cooking your food, so you now it’s ready.

At first we weren’t impressed by the smell it gives off, but after a few weeks of use its gone and we love the way it makes the food taste. Very impressed, we use it to airfare veg everyday.

Easy Clean, works as advertised
Not much to add really, everything I used my airfryer in the past I use with this one. It cooks better and way easier to clean, just wipe it down.

First meal was not cooked properly, so I tried smaller portions and the meal was OK, keep trying that’s all I can say, vary the times and temperature, and if making fries don’t make them to thick as the outside will cook before the inside, chicken tastes really nice done in the air fryer and also the steak was really tasty, and remember to shake your food while cooking it cleans up easy and has plenty of room for 3 – 4 servings.

Great item for any kitche
I just cook for myself, and I find that the 4.7l cap of the oven is perfect for my needs. I’ve done chips, fish, chicken wings, pork belly, burgers and toasted sandwiches. It heats up so much quicker than my oven and as for cleaning, I just bosh it in the dishwasher, so it’s super easy.

First time I have used an air fryer, have to say I tend to use this instead of my oven as it’s quicker to heat up and takes less time to cook food. Chips come out a lot better then in the oven.
It’s easy to clean and seems well built, uses less electricity than my oven as well which is a bonus.

Much better than I expected
The first thing I cooked in it was some chicken wings, they came out really well and I used the preset for chicken without any issues. Its easy to use, quick to cook and easy to clean afterwards. There are loads of recipes in the book that was included with it and I will search the web for more. I replaced our old halogen cooker which was so big and cumbersome to use and bulky. This looks like it will be a very good replacement and I’d recommend it as they also appear to be well made.

Good air fryer at a reasonable price
It’s a good quality appliance which is easy to use and has a reasonably small footprint on the kitchen top. I needed to experiment with heat/time settings as the recommended settings for chips was too hot. However, I’m getting good results now.

What we like: Easy to use
Adjustable temperature at any stage of the cooking process
So easy to ‘Overide ‘ adjust the settings at the touch of a button either or both for Time ( – or +) and Temperature in Celsius (- or +)
Easy to clean –
There is a layer tray with silicone bumpers that sits above the base of the basket allowing fat to drop through – Easy to remove once cold and is dishwasher friendly
We just wipe the inner basket with a =kichen towel after a hot rinse in water
Really important to keep clean, especially the area around the heating element – it will get greasy up there – This micro oven really does reach exceedingly high temperatures 75-230 degrees C
The Display dial is the best we have seen – Excellent
The outer Unit does not get hot strange but true – there is a vent at the back and it is important to allow some area about 25cms air clearance
Easy to clean exterior – Lightweight, the basket ‘clicks’ into position
Beeps when finished Flashes to alert you to shake food
Cooks superbly – better to undercook and check rather than potentially burn – Some foods need shaking to brown all over as the element is in the top of the machine so cooks from the top aided by a fan – not at the bottom
It is EXCEPTIONALLY quiet
Improvements needed:
The display for meal types only lights up for a short time – Chicken Fries Frozen Steak Seafood veggies Bacon when switched on , so the ‘Meal type’ menu is difficult to see in low light conditions – We just use this as a guide and most of the time then adjust .
There is a preheat button that is 4 mins at 205 c A keep warm button 5 mins 75 C and a shake button that reminds you to pull the tray out and turn food or shake the basket at 50% time elapse of what you are cooking
Conclusion: It is a learning process – we were somewhat sceptical and are now converts – Just need to understand where the heat is coming from, that food may need to be adjusted to cook all over and it is simple to use.
We have cooked a small chicken and Pork basted loin Roast potatoes and veggies , Yorkshire pudding, ( in a Pyrex dish), and not had any failures – If in doubt cook on lower temp and make sure your food is NOT too high and close to the heating element.
Size wise 4.7L. Good for 1-3 people – The rectangualr basket is so much better than Round baskets . This was half the price of Ninja and in our opinion much easier to use.

Does the smell ever go?
So far so good. Chips excellent, pork skin crackling today’s experiment. Small samples so far are indicating well.
The main complaint, a month in, is the never-ending plastic smell and taste imbued by the machine when hot. It is not overpowering but leaves a sullen undertaste to a lot of its cooked items.
Ignoring this, with a lot of HP or hot chilli sauce, results are pretty good.

I have been using the air fryer for a few weeks now and do not want to remember cooking without it. Easy, quick and the cleaning is very easy. The build quality is good and the functions are easy to use. Comes with a cookbook.

Attractive design and functional Air Frye
The Cosori works well with the recipes we have tried so far. Chips come out fine without the need to par boil, certainly an improvement on oven chips. Design is attractive, quite in operation and surprisingly very little in the way of cooking odours. Very easy to clean up after frying.
OK for Certain Uses
An air fryer is really a small fan oven and can thus save energy when cooking relatively small amounts. Does well with whole roast chicken (a medium chicken can just be fitted in the cooking container) and will roast in under an hour but you will need a probe thermometer to check, the auto programme does chicken in 20 minutes! Presumably pieces. Chips are acceptable, roast potatoes best parboiled and baked potatoes take an age at around 45 mins. Guidance for times poor but reasonable recipe book. So, has its uses but takes up some of your precious worktop space.

Awesome airfrye
All I can say is this changed the game for cooking especially with a busy lifestyle this makes cooking easier and dare I say – slightly more enjoyable. I have not used my oven once since purchasing. The only two slight issues I have are the pre-set features aren’t always accurate I would say sometimes the heat is too high but that is remedied by turning down the temp and perhaps i would like a bigger or twin tray just to cook more stuff at once/the same time. It is so easy to clean I’m impressed!

Bigger than the standard air fryers but not as big as double drawer version, perfect for me. Oven chips and roast potatoes much more evenly cooked and in less time. This one easily cooks a whole bag of roast potatoes, great for when family visit. Frozen breaded fish, fish cakes, fresh meatballs …. all perfect and really tasty. Still learning but love it so far!

Homemade beefburgers have never tasted so good. Usually dryer when cooked in oven but juicy &, succulent in Cosori. I’ve made stir fry veg, salmon, tuna steaks. I put small whole carrots but the flavour was nice &, sweet but they were too chewy. I used veggie preset. It has 7 presets, steak, fries, frozen, etc. Easy to clean. Recipe book. Packaged well. I will say i was disappointed when it arrived as i thought it was the same size as the one i ordered for my friend 5.5l as it was the same price last year which has 11 presets baking or bread being one which are better choices is bigger & has a removable basket & has the digital presets facing you rather than on the top where mine are. I have to stand on tiptoes to see presets on mine as they are high up as airfryer is on worktop. However this air fryer makes cooking so quick, meat tastes so much bette

Did not feel comfortable using a deep fat fryer so I decided to invest in the Cosori. I can’t add anything more to the positive comments from other buyers but if it blew up tomorrow I would buy another one without hesitation.

One of the best kitchen gadgets we have ever bought. Cooks perfect fries, fish, baked potatoes etc. in a fraction of the time it takes ordinarily. Mega easy to clean and makes little or no smell when used.

Easy to use but it stops working eventually (literally doesn’t power up) and I had to return it. I thought perhaps, i just got a faulty one but there are some reviews on here with the same issue.

Mini oven not a frye
I suggest you reduce cooking time on all presets by 5 minutes as it seems to be a bit over done. Easy to use and clean but some foods can be a bit dry if cooked for too long. Best to experiment and use recipe books and Youtube as a guide only.
Smell indicated in previous reviews
After previously having a Phillips which greased up around the element I wanted an easy to clean machine
Although early days the position of the element & room around it it does look much better but time will tell
I did the pre use instructions & this does give off a nasty smell which once in your nostrils & air lingers
I’ve repeated the process & cooked in the machine & there is still a smell of burning off the new but not as bad now
Not sure what causes this but possibly the supposed heat resistant rubber feet under the grate
If it continues I will take these off to see if it makes a difference (just to test as these stop the grate falling out when dishing up your chips)
In a nutshell it’s a nice machine easy to use cooks as good as the old one
Marks are based on time really as only used twice
I do think cosori needs to eliminate the the smell associated with newness that lasts longer than any other cooking / heating items I have purchased in the pas

I, probably like a good many was sceptical about frying chips with a tea spoon of oil. However I can report that they do, in fact it cooks the best French fries I have ever had. I’ve only cooked some pork strips once but shall try again with that and also cook some coated chicken one day

I am a bona fide customer – I dont get products to review. Our son in law got a large air fryer a Cosori that connects the internet and he and our daughter love it. We wanted something smaller just for the two of us so we ordered this model (as above) We ordered this Air Fryer 25th Jan 2022. It arrived a few days later undamaged well packed with a few recipes in a book not really many. Forget the App they ask you to download for extra recipes – it doesnt work. tc etc.
However I did managed to register my product through the app for the two year guarantee that worked fine. There are hundred of recipe books out there just go choose the type of recipes for your diet. There is meat, vegan, vegetarian, low carb etc etc.
BEFORE USE – I washed the pan/draw in soapy water and rinsed it well, same with the tray that fits inside at the bottom. It creates a space of air under the food for the hot air to circulate and the fats to collect away from the food.
FIRST USE – baked potatoes, I put a very very thin layer of Rapeseed oil on the potatoes and set the fryer to cook them. It worked fine and they were cooked inside and crispyish on the outside. They actually tasted find.
The BAD NEWS – when you use this air fryer for the first time, use it on a fine sunny day OUTSIDE your house. While the air fryer was cooking the smell that emanated from the heated plastic was HORRENDOUS and we could smell it for a few days after.
The GOOD NEWS – Second use, we heated frozen baguettes, cooked to perfection and hardly any heated plastic smell at all.
The BEST NEWS – Third use we air fried bacon it was lovely and the smell of the air fryer plastic has completely disappeared.
CLEAN UP.
The draw / cooking pan is coated in non- stick , The shelf also is non stick. Although it says that you can put the cooking draw and shelf in the dish washer – I have chosen not to do so. Straight after a meal i just use hot soapy water and a soft nylon brush to clean both parts, rinse in warm water and dry them with paper kitchen towel 5 minute no problems at all with cleaning.
We bought this air fryer for us, two people who buy stuff to warm up in the oven pies, pizza baguettes, frozen breaded fish, potatoes, fish fingers and of course the fries or chips as we call them in the UK. There is nothing in that list that can not go in the Air Fryer which should i hope reduce our carbon footprint and the energy bill. e.g. When cooking with the gas oven i.e. cooking frozen battered fish total time is half an hour on gas regulao 7 / 425F / 218C. The air fryer takes 15/20 minutes on a lower setting.
If you have a larger family get a bigger one that 4.7ltr up to now this has sufficient for us two.
PS i still use a pressure cooker for meals and a microwave for tins beans peas etc etc.

This is our first air fryer and we are very happy with it. Food cooks perfectly and controls are all easy to use.
One glaring issue is the beep volume. It’s irritatingly loud and you can’t do anything about it. Using this at night with sleeping kids is a risk as each button press, inserting the drawer, end of timer… All results in LOUD beeps. I checked online and the only fix is to take it apart and put tape on the little speaker…
Otherwise, great air fryer and a bargain at 80.

Don’t know what I did before owning this. Can not recommend enough. Use it almost every day. Perfect for making dinner for two. Quick and easy to use, easy to clean. I had no unpleasant taste like others have reported, however I did run it in a few cycles before using. Comes with free app full of recipe ideas. Highly recommend!

Got this for my aunt as a Christmas present and she absolutely loves it. Whatever she can cook in it she’s cooking and can’t stop bragging how good the food comes out and cooks the food perfectly for her, especially her favourite homemade fry chicken.

Respecto a la cosori de 5,5 litros veo muchas ventajas.
El control tctil es mas intuitivo. Se maneja mejor el cambio de temperatura y tiempo. En el modelo de 5,5 hay que pulsar un botn para cambiar a un otro y otro.
Es mas fcil de limpiar. Usa un solo cesto con una rejilla inferior en lugar de dos.
Como solo tiene un cesto, este es casi del mismo tamao que la de 5,5 (ya que pierde por el margen entre los dos cestos que tiene). Se puede cocinar cualquier cosa en ella.
El diseo es elegante y nada tosco en comparacin con el modelo anterior.
Como contras, este modelo es algo menos potente que su hermano mayor. Pero la diferencia es de tan solo 100w. No se nota apenas.
No tiene wifi. Parece que en algn momento saldr un modelo con esta funcionalidad, ya que el icono led de wifi existe en el panel de control. Muy mal, ya que te obligan a irte al otro modelo si quieres esto, o te obligan a actualizar a otro en el futuro.
Por estos motivos no le doy 5 estrellas, aunque estoy muy contento con la compra.

Cooked my chips perfectly. Fluffy inside and nice and crispy outside. I didn’t even use any oil but I did soak them first to get rid of some starch and dried them off before putting in the air fryer. The food headings on the machine can be a bit hard to read if you get the machine in the wrong light as the top is glossy and can reflect things off it. Very easy to clean. I am using this machine but my mother has the smaller one with dials on the front and that too is really excellent especially as easier to read the icons etc.

We bought this as our oven takes an age to preheat when needing to rustle something up quickly. It’s been an absolute game changer. So easy to use, better tasting and crispier food, and also nice to look at.

Looks a nice air fryer .sent it back as it didnt have everything that I was looking for .
Easy to use, quiet & we love it!
Has less presets that other Cosori air fryers but with a little research we soon worked timings etc out. Easy to use control panel, quiet when running, easy to clean & looks good. All food we’ve cooked so far has been lovely, especially chips cooked from raw.

Recipe book not much use as it is obviously aimed at American market and can’t get some of the ingredients.
