Golden Review Award: 22 From Our UsersRoast joints, jacket potatoes, bacon, chips all taste so much better. I haven’t even tried half of what it can do yet but I have only used my big oven once sincei bought this Cosori and that was for a pizza which wouldn’t fit in it.
My only criticism is the control console, it marks very easily indeed. I had only used it a couple of times and where I touched the on/off control you could see where it had been touched ad it doesn’t clean off. When I rubbed it with slight pressure that also marked. I have been around touch controls for years so I know you only need a light touch. I would have sent it back but it is there to do a job and these things are selling out quick with the energy crisis so I try to ignore it but it certainly took the gloss off getting it because I like to keep my appliances clean and looking nice.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI frequently have to make meals for my daughter before she goes to a club in the evening. This is brilliant at cooking all the small things like vegetarian sausages, falafel etc They’re ready in about 8 mins. I’ve watched the real-time energy consumption and even though it’s 1.8kw, it gets up to temperature very fast because the cooking space is small compared to a typical oven. That means the element doesn’t need constant power, so over that 8 mins it costs around 5p to run. Couldn’t recommend it enough. And never mind the lower energy use – it’s just fast and easy.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersThis review is after a few months use of this product. Easy to use – no risk of the lettering for the labels to be rubbed off as the labelling is under a touch screen display. Trying different ways of doing home fries, frozen fries are fine and managed to work out how to warm up frozen pies. Recipe book is very useful with plenty if ideas. Easy clean the top element does not seem to need cleaning that often – just a wipe over once cooled down. Overall recommended!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersMy previous airfryer was digital and had various programmes. All the beeping and pressing of buttons was annoying, so when I needed to replace it I decided to go for the most analogue airfryer I could find. This Cosori airfryer is just fantastic!! Having only had a halogen cooker before, decided on the Cosori air fryer. Can say not disappointed with results, but you do need to take a step back and be aware of the different style of cooking, recipe book included has some good recipes and ideas. Glad I bought it. The only downside is it’s a bit noisy, however the offset to this is it cooks faster and at a lower temperature. As a rule of thumb you could decrease temperature by 15 degrees and knock at least 5mins off regular times.

This Cosori air fryer is very easy to use and clean. The large frying basket is great for up to four portions. It also comes with a booklet containing 100 recipes. If you are unsure of how to use the air fryer, there is a lot of information on timings and temperatures specific to the Cosori on YouTube so please review these prior to buying. Highly recommended.

Had the cosari air fryer for around 3 weeks now, I hardly use the oven now. It’s great for families who eat at meals at different times, and so much quicker. Even my teenage son can use it! The simple things like chicken nuggets take 10 minutes, fries/chips differ depending on size, had to snap half of a normal size pizza as whole one wouldn’t fit and I was told that’s the best pizza ever! Not baked/cooked anything from scratch in it as yet but for convenience it’s so good. Washes easily, simple to use and also can pay for it over 5 months.

This is a review of the Cosori 5.5 litre air fryer. Although I’m still learning to adjust cooking times and temps it really is so easy. You check on food, put the drawer back in and it carries on its programme, or you can change time or temperature. I use ordinary bowls and tins, have to find the right size (about 7.5-8 inches max) and protect the drawer’s surface with baking paper underneath whatever you’re using. Only put it under something do not have it in the drawer on its own while preheating because the fan will draw it up into the heating element. Likewise use a weight such as a rack to hold down lightweight food items. When using the basket drawer itself oil the food not the drawer I find works best, haven’t got an oil sprayer. Frozen fish and chips cooked better in this than the oven. Washing up is quick and easy because the drawer is so light weight and separates very easily. It fits in an ordinary washing up bowl well enough too. I use a piece of kitchen roll to dry the slits in the side but you can just use the preheat setting to dry it in a hurry. I got the white one because I thought it would be less of a black lump sitting on the side and it was a good idea, looks nice. The only thing I could do with is one of those silicon bowl inserts but they seem quite expensive at the moment. I might get the square silicon replacement for parchment paper to protect the basket..
The recipe book is ‘translated’ from American and is very useful if you are a dedicated meat eater, not so much for veggie or vegan but I am gradually adapting some things using the programmes for root or green veg. All in all a really good machine that will save on time and money on electricity as its so quick. Pretty much anything you’d cook in an oven can be cooked in this, more quickly and at a lower temperature, it tells you in the accompanying literature the exact proportion of reduction in these. There is a “shake” reminder too.

I have owned this air-fryer for over a year now and we tend to use it quite a lot. I used to hate cooking sausages or burgers in my kitchen, but this seems to cook them to perfection. I use it took vast variety of things and it hasn’t disappointed me yet. The design is very well thought through. It is very easy to clean, I tend to stick both baskets in dishwasher and it does the job. I love that the inner basket can be easily removed.
I am also very pleased to find that there are lots of accessories for this air fryer, you can even get replacement inner basked should you wish to do so.
I have recommended it and my sister as well as my friend have both now bought same air-fryer and are very happy with their purchases as well

Was very unsure about buying an air fryer but had heard good things about them. Spent hours researching them. Finally chose this one and so far I’m loving it!
I don’t deep fry because of the mess, the cleaning, disposing properly of the oil etc.
Now I can make these foods without any hassle or mess and it’s cheaper to run.
So far have made scampi (frozen from shop), falafel (from a packet), gyozas (home made, bought the wrappers), frozen oven chips, and they’ve all been amazing. I’ve also cooked salmon and a jacket potato.
I love it, genuinely love it. (I also have very limited space on my kitchen side so it had to be good to earn the space). Had it for 2 weeks so can’t comment on how long it will last).

I was always sceptical as to how useful or better these were than a conventional oven. My husband finally persuaded me to purchase one. I can confirm it did live up to the hype, it cooks much faster than an oven, there is alot less of a clean up (literally add some washing up liquid and water and leave it to soak and then wash away), I am a bit of a clean freak this made it alot easier than having to scrub a whole oven. The food tastes delicious! Especially fries, when cooked on defrost they cook to perfection (better than takeaways – no more soggy chips). Corn on the cob also comes out perfect following the easy recipe and cooking time from the recipe book. The product is well made and looks nice and neat in the corner of my kitchen, I purchased the XXL size and this is perfect for a family meal. The only negative I would say is that a small part of my handle did chip off but Amazon were quick to offer me an exchange or some money back – so I can’t complain. Overall very pleased and use this now almost daily!

I was quiet unsure when i bought the COSORI Air fryer how the food will taste without any oil, i did lots of research before getting it , looking at reviews , and other air fryers. It had the top reviews , opinions for family use and easy clean. I can confirm its that and more. Perfect fir for my family, cooks food in no time, i come from work tired and put food stright from freezer , no hassle, weather its fish &ships , chicken burgers , hash browns or worm food up, Thumbs up for COSORI. Cleaning it is very simple. Honestly made life lot easier. I recommend it .

It’s taken me a while but I finally got one and do not regret it.

I got this dial style over the digital for ease of use and saw most reviews don’t use the preset settings so didn’t see the point.

The information pack is very useful to get started with. It’s simple to clean the surface and the basket. I have mainly hand washed it for better life. The couple of time I have dishwashed it, it has been fine.

A negative I have found is the timer ‘bing’ is on the quiet side so it can end and I don’t always hear it. And though this is a big basket, and it is, I have to do two loads of a single layer or stack foods of a single batch on some bigger meals, and it cooks fine stacked just not the lovely crispy feel all round.

I have used it 4/5 times a week since I have bought it and it has held up fine. I think this was a worthwhile purchase and is worth the price as it will be well used.

We bought a cheap air fryer, which turned out to be useful but too small (8″ round basket). The Cosori with its 9″ square basket affords more flexibility without much more of a footprint. My wife is a fan of using it and I am a fan of her results. Basically, love it. As this is only our second Air Fryer, I can’t make comparative judgements but the main criticism I’ve come across is that it is difficult to clean. My wife and I both disagree. Clean it after each use with the rest of your washing-up and it’s a doddle. For comparisons, spend some time on YouTube.

This air fryer is more than just for chips and chicken nuggets, in fact I haven’t cooked either, I use more as a small oven. I have cooked really good roast chicken (whole), roast veg, fish, even baked a cake (not so good) although the cake failure might have been my error. I use it to quickly warm through things like croissants or crisp up kale, much quicker and less electricity than using the main oven in the kitchen. Things I find more difficult are translating the cooking times from traditional recipes, I do use the presets but find they always need a bit of adjustment, it is not like using a microwave, it needs more involvement from the cook. I am sure it is a problem with all of these air fryers but lifting something out of the basket can be very tricky as it is a confined space and i find myself juggling food with spoons and forks or if I have use a bowl a cloth to pick it up but it is tricky. All in all I am happy to have bought this ove

I can’t say enough good things about this air fryer, I LOVE it! I used to have a circular one but this square model is SO much more practical. It heats up so quickly with the preheat function, the basket removes so you can just chuck the basket and holder into the dishwasher no problems. My favourite thing to use it for is roasted meat – especially a spatchcocked chicken in under an hour. It also uses 60% less energy than my oven so in this economic climate, it’s a no-brainer. It is fairly noisy though and make sure you have space around it so it has air circulation. Be careful of the baskets when removing food as they get VERY hot. 100% no regrets on this purchase, air fryers are worth the hype!

Got this because our Fan oven wasn’t cooking chips evenly all the time and some were still white whilst others were burning in the Oven.
Had heard it cooked things crispy and well so I was well impressed when the French fries came out crisp and evenly cooked after about 20 mins.
Also tried Bacon which I like crisp so this took about 20 minutes also but did the trick.
Have tried it with a cheese toasty and this came out crisp and cooked also.
So far everything I have put in it has come out cooked well and just how I like it. It’s quicker at cooking than my fan oven and I think it uses a lot less electricity.
Still will need my fan oven though as the capacity is limited for this, so of you wanted to put say sausages, bacon and chips in it you would struggle, hence why only 4 stars rather than 5.
It is easier to clean than a baking tray put in the oven though.
Still glad I got it though because it is healthy with the fat from meats draining better than in an fan oven.
Overall pretty impressed and I use it most days.

Once I knew we wanted an air fryer due to our gas oven a)becoming more expensive to use and b)being a massive pain, going out regularly and often hard to light, I did lots of research as to which was best. At first I was going to get a dual drawer fryer so I could do 2 separate foods but then I wouldn’t easily be able to make big cakes, loaves of bread or pizza easily. At the last minute I changed my mind and went for the large capacity Cosori as it seemed to have the best reviews on many review videos.

I made the right decision, it’s so easy to use, easy to clean and super fast cooking all manner of foods. I want to get the accessory pack now too so I can make cakes or stews easily and donuts/muffins. You can easily get food out of the basket by turning it over with no worry about a hot metal plate falling out (as happens with the dual drawer fryers).

I love and worship at its feet, I have clearly hit the age where I am excited about kitchen appliances. Don’t even get me started on coffee machines!!!

Superb Air Fryer for the money

Although still trialling and adapting recipes, I must say I am initially very impressed with the air fryer. Not all components of most meals can be cooked in it at the same time. But if only a couple, today I have cooked a small joint with roast potatoes, parsnip, carrot and cauliflower, these were all added at different times. (Sprouts cooked separate, but added at “keep warm” cycle.) Using only a spray of oil, foods are healthier and full of flavour. I have made lovely fresh chips, sweet potato wedges, chicken pieces, sausages, whole chicken, pork joint, stuffing and I have reheated homemade Yorkshire Puddings. Just cook extra when you have your oven on and freeze. I look forward to seeing what other dishes I can make. I am sure also it must save on energy, because things do cook quicker than in a conventional oven. It is also very easy to clean, which is always a good thing.

Still experimenting, but could be the best piece of kitchen equipment I have purchased for a while

This product had very high recommendations online. Yes, it does cook and fry a lot quicker using less oil, and good results are easy to achieve.
Drawbacks – the inner basket is very thin and the vents in it are easily squashed flat when giving it a thorough wash and dry after use. I regularly have to prise them back open afterwards. This inner basket could do with being made of a thicker gauge metal. The teflon coating is very thin also, and has worn back to the metal at a few corners of both baskets, although it’s only been in use a few months. User wise, the temperature setting is stuck on centigrade – no matter what it won’t switch to Fahrenheit, which we prefer. No real solution from Corsori. But apart from those hiccups, we use it every day, it works and cooks as advertised.

  64. CelestaWitzel says:

A friend bought an air fryer when she was going to be without an oven and hob for a few weeks and told me how it was so useful she was going to continue to use it. I did a lot of research and decided on a Corsori. As there are only 2 of us I was going to buy the small one but when I discovered that you could roast a whole chicken in the larger model that is the one I got. We have had it for about 3 weeks and it has been used every day by both myself and my husband. We have cooked a variety of things and have found that you can use it for virtually anything that can be fried or cooked in an oven. On a few occasions we have had to alter the temperature or the time and we have made a note for future reference. The roast chicken was delicious soft and moist with a crispy skin. We cooked the chicken and wrapped it in foil to rest while we cooked the roast potatoes which we par boiled first. A lovely Sunday roast and no dirty oven. I am going to have my oven cleaned now as now I feel it will only be used occasionally if ever. I have bought other kitchen gadgets over the years, including a halogen cooker/oven most of which have ended in the back of the cupboard before being given away. I wish I had bought one earlier and have thanked my friend for her recommendation.

The best ‘kitchen gadget’ I have ever bough

I wanted this for a long time and finally bought it. There was a couple dents and scuffs on it when arrived, which i got a partial refund for, the communicator was actually excellent so I’m not complaining, its only cosmetic. The airfryer itself is great. My partner thought it’ll be another item collecting dust, however even he who doesn’t cook much has used it more times in the last couple weeks than hes cooked in the last few months. Food comes out delicious. And its so quick to make food

    Good stuff

I bought this for cooking chips. Tried various ways but disappointed. The fryer stood idle for weeks, I was very disappointed but then I tried cooking our other food in it and haven’t looked back. It’s amazing! Quick, easy to clean a delight to use. I’m not a fan of cooking but this air fryer makes cooking fun! I cook baked potatoes in microwave and crisp off in fryer. I cook everything from salmon, chicken, chops, fish, sausages heat up pies. Great to warm ready made pizza. Browns off cheese when making cauliflower cheese so halves the cooking time. Saves on electricity. No more heating up the oven for 10 minutes. The screws did come loose as others have found. My husband glued them in and despite this we would definitely buy again. I couldn’t be without my air fryer. I haven’t used my cooker oven in a very long time.

Not used an Air fryer before but this is really simple to use and chips, especially large homestyle type chips come out really well. It is amazing the amount of excess oil that comes out of things even the Homestyle or Gastro chips. Definitely a better way to cook fried things than the normal soaked in oil method especially if on a diet that requires less fat. It does all the things that you would expect it to and more besides. Pork Loin chops are brilliant, Score the crackling and season the chops, stand the chops on edge with the skin facing upwards and support this position with some bamboo skewers, beautifully cooked chops with fantastic crackling on them, 205 C for about 18 to 20 minutes. Even cook a whole loin of pork in there. The recipe book is really useful and plenty of ideas in there that are sensible.
To clean just bung it all in the dishwasher.
    Really pleased with it.

I love this machine but not for what I bought it for. Being honest I was looking for a healthier way to cook chips. It does cook ships but not as well as a deep fat fryer. It takes more as I now par boils the large cut chips before air frying them which is about as good as you can get it.

The real prize is cooking other things from kebabs to baked potatoes and so many more things. Get on the net and research recipes, most are so simple but tasty. I got a couple of books as well which has widened my culinary capability so much that I am cooking things I would never have thought of with my electric cooker. I know you can do them in a normal cooker but the air fryer makes it crisper and still keeps moisture in the dish. An example is chicken as legs or wings end up well cooked but moist inside with nice crisp skin.

I was impressed with this model more than the rest as I researched it and it has many reviews and videos showing just how easy it is to use and clean. Tjise videos are a great help to people new to using these machines.

Cleaning it is easy as there is never much fat left and what is is kept contained under the food basket so it is not spitting everywhere.

When I bought it, I was a bit of a fence about whether I choose this or an oven toaster with an air fryer function (I can’t find a cheap one, and options were limited). A year later, we use this for quick meals (e.g. salmon, chicken, pork, fries etc.). I have no serious problems with this, except that I still like to buy an oven toaster with an air fryer function now that there are more options.

Easy to clean -the basket is dishwasher safe, but some grimes are very hard to reach, especially when it’s not washed for some time.

Easy to use – this is definitely easy to use, and even though the functions are not fully spot on, at least these serve as an initial basis on different types of food.

Flavour – I think for the flavour, it would really depend on the seasonings used, and an air fryer can’t really compete with deep fried cooking. I removed a star because some instructions on the recommended recipes were not fully spot on (at least for the crispy chicken wings I tried). I haven’t used the recipes for a while, though.

I had never used an air fryer before and was anxious to try and reduce fat content in food while enjoying a good taste. I am very impressed with this machine. The suggested timings have generally proved accurate and it’s easy to check food in the middle of cooking; it’s also easy to adapt one’s own recipes (the one or two I have tried from the accompanying recipe book have also been good, however). And it’s very much easier to clean and overall much less messy than a grill pan, which is a big plus. I normally cook for two, but I think one could use it for a family of four comfortably.
For those in the position I was in (ie having no experience of air fryers) – just don’t think of it as being a substitute for a deep fat fryer. It’s really a compact grill in which you can do foods coated in oil or marinaded before cooking: steaks, fish and veg work particularly well. But I’ve had no success at all with crisps or chips – maybe I need to experiment a bit more.
The superficially impressive display of presets is essentially a waste of time, since anything you need to do can be set and operated manually as well, which is what I have had to do in any case in adapting my own recipes.
I’d definitely recommend this. I don’t know what more expensive models do (quicker? more automated programs?), but I can’t see any reason for upgrading.

The fryer arrived early and I was excited to try it so I used it right away totally amazed at the quality and the cooking results,I can cook a meal for my wife and myself in the large basket at the same time.Cooked chicken nuggets along with potato wedges and both cooked perfectly crisp and cooked to perfection. This air fryer will take the place of my range master at a fraction of the cost to run.Last evening I Cooke a steak and kidney pie the pastry was perfect crisp and brown and the meat tender piping hot. This would make a perfect wedding present for a young couple so easy to use and can be cleaned in seconds can’t believe my luck having purchased it.Ps ordering another one for my daughter she fell in love with it right away.Highly recommend for looks, quality, cooking ability plus ease of getting to know how to use it it’s a must purchase for any home..*************

So when I was considering buying a in air fryer I asked lots of people their opinions and did my research. The overall view from friends was that they like theirs. The reviews for the Cosori were at the top of the list and soni went for it. I also liked the red as it matches the other gadgets!
So it’s spacious for cooking unlike many I’ve seen. Comes with a cookbook and is alot bulkier than expected but looks good. It’s easy to use and cleans upbok after use. My only complaint is it is definitely not a fryer. It’s basically a Compact work topnoven with a very strong fan. So if you are a single person low on funds and space then don’t buy an oven get one of these. Is it faster than a fan oven? Maybe a little bit. Is it worth it? Maybe when you want to cook oven chips and nothing else but I am going to try and use it for a few recips and see if it is all it’s cracked up to be. Just don’t expect proper fried chips

Obviously calling it ‘air fryer’ is nonsense. It is simply a convenient mini oven. It cooks quickly and very conveniently. Size wise it is for a single big eater or a small diet couple. I have only ever washed it once…and that was in the dishwasher. Normally I wipe it with kitchen roll…..and give it a pre heat before next use. It certainly reduces the number of other containers that might need cleaning after a normal meal! It has endless uses. for given the amount of use it has had I would rate it as ‘excellent’!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersEasy to use Air fryer, food is cooked quicker and it is more convenient than a standard oven especially with small children. Chips and fish fingers cooks in no time or even cheese on toast. If you have small children that eat you out of house and home and you sometimes need things to cooked quicker, then this is your guy. Large basket and it’s ideal for my family of 6.
After cleaning first time, turn it on and leave it for a few minutes to get that plastic taste/smell off. It may take a couple more turns before it goes though. Handy recipe booklet even though I have not tried the recipes yet.

It’s fast (I now make roast potatoes in 20 mins!)
It’s less fat (or just don’t use any fat!! It’s non stick!)
The basket will do enough roast potatoes for 4, easily (we are greedy buggers)
    It’s easy to use
It’s easy to clean (make sure you get an old toothbrush)
Chicken cooks fast and remains succulent
    The only negatives?

Cakes are a bit hit and miss. It takes some trial runs before perfecting.

I’d recommend using liners when using metal accessories as it can damage the non stick coating

IMHO Think of it as a fast fan oven.
I would advise that you experiment with this – cook some small portions to get to know the capability/timings/temperatures etc. of various foods.
Using this also saves money as you will not be using it for the length of time of a conventional oven.
Warming to 200C, conventional fan oven takes 10-15 mins. This takes max 5 mins.
After preheating frozen chips take another 25 mins in a conventional fan oven, the air fryer max 15 mins. This is the same for potato wedges, battered/breaded fish/chicken.
I am still experimenting, recently making profiteroles which were just as good as in a conventional oven.
Cleaning is very easy so overall I would highly recommend this product.

I decided to go for this air fryer after my old halogen finally gave up on me. I like to use a smaller counter top cooker to save money instead of having my larger cooker on, especially for thing like chips & jackets.
I liked my halogen but it took up so much space and was such an awkward shape to get accessories for so after much research I decided to get an air fryer instead.

This knocks the socks off the halogen. It takes up much less space on the counter and is quieter. I love how easy it is to use and am amazed how quick it heats up and cooks.

I love the fact this is square shape as one of the initial things that put me off buying one years ago is the round shape, it just isn’t practical for dishes but this one is square

I love the digital display, it’s so easy to use. So far I’ve only done frozen chips, homemade chips, jacket potatoes and some vegan things like burgers & sausage substitutes and all have turned out great and I’m amazed at how quick it is

It actually looks nice on the counter so I don’t have to put it away and hide it at all.

I’m really looking forward to going though the recipe book and seeing what else I can do with it. Although my main reason for purchase was for quick chips and jackets I shall definitely be experimenting

The only thing I am slightly concerned about it the little plastic slider on the drawer, it doesn’t seem very strong and for that reason I wouldn’t place it in my dishwasher and I’ve told my boys they better be gentle with it.

    Definitely recommend this produc

I agonised over this purchase for a very long time and spent many hours reading reviews. We have a small kitchen and already own a deep fryer, so this really had a lot of expectations to live up to. I bought it to make healthier chips, while I was going through a low fat phase (don’t worry, that’s over now!) and I have to say it’s the one thing I don’t use it for. Though to be fair, I only tried a couple of times and I was trying to cram enough for 5 people in it. I’m sure with time, experimenting, better potatoes and fewer chips, you could make decent enough ones. Better than oven chips, obviously, but never going to beat a good homemade deep-fried chip.

However, it’s all the other things we cook in it that make me happy. The kids use it for toasties, pitta/French bread pizzas, nuggets, heating pastries/pies. Its great for bacon, sausages, chops (any meat!). I make lovely veg sides like sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower (coat anything in seasoned oil and air fry it).

I’m eating low carb/high fat now (again, I missed you old friend) and I worried I’d have less use for the air fryer but actually I’m using it even more. So much veg and meat to cook and lamb fat especially tastes heavenly, as so the pork cracklings I’ve been making. It’s a huge hit and definitely earned its space on the worktop.

    This is amazing.

Really easy to use and simple to clean.

Bought it for homemade chips but ended up using it everyday for everything else.

Anything frozen goes in and comes out 10 mins later perfectly crispy and evenly cooked: chicken nuggets, beef burgers, hash browns, sausages, frozen chips, even did half a frozen pizza the other day.

Bacon is amazing, i will never do it any other way now.

Breathes new life into Left overs and takes 5 mins and wow wow wow, dominoes pizza the next day, crispy and holdable again, chippy chips the next day, better than when first bought.

Side of salmon, no problem, 12 mins, juicy on inside and crispy outside.

Roasted veg from scratch is also very good

Eggs in a pot, dont bother, turn to rubber.

Homemade chips are tricky though. Boil em first but its hard to do a decent amount, only get two portions at the most and take 20 mins plus, dont do them very often as not so good for family of 4. Better for frozen chips you can fill it a bit higher and they cook better. I will probably do home made ones more often when the kis have left home.

Cleaning is good because it fits in the sink unlike an oven tray.

This is a good size fryer.

Coming back to this review after a year and I still stand-by my thoughts. Cosori have made the best air fryers, affordable and well designed. Even if it shows signs of wear from heavy use, it’s a better device than InstntPot, Phillips and Tefal by a country mile. If the basket wears, just buy another basket. The device is still far better designed that anything else (I’ve used) on the market.

Have owned this device for more than twelve months and it one of the most useful items in my kitchen.
It’s form factor means it fits anywhere I need to use it, but even better, I can sneak it on holiday too (mainland obviously).
Anyone (even novices) can use to improve their culinary output.
Simple to setup and use; works better than you imagined and will improve every meal in ways you won’t believe. The other major benefit is that cleaning it is really simple, certainly something you do need to be aware of.

This particular model is my ‘default present’ for wedding gifts, birthdays and house-warmings.
I purchased one for my parents; mainly because my Mum can’t bend down to use the main oven, but it cooks everything (they enjoy) and cleaning-up is low effort. It’s also much cheaper to run than an oven. *I have now purchased six in total. Only one problem, simply rectified.

Top tip: get the large one. If you have a family, you will find the air fryer is always in use and you need more space for other items. You can cook a whole chicken in an air fryer, the larger model allows you to cook a larger chicken (which is always very popular).

The only tools you will need are a good pair of nylon cooking tongues, an oil spray bottle and Teflon base sheet. If you can, try to get the small riser too, this will allow you to cook two (or more) items at the same time.
Children will enjoy learning to cook too. Just follow the simple rules and you will have years of delicious results.

In comparison, it’s much better than than the more expensive Philips air fryer that I received for my birthday. I now own two air fryers, but the Philips is cosigned to my garage; only used when I am cooking at-scale.

Really surprised by this , after reading reviews on air fryers I have always been a bit dubious about getting one . So glad I bought a small cheapo one from a certain range and was pleased with how it worked unfortunately it was too small , so after a trawl of amazon spotted this one and read and then re read reviews and decided to take a punt . So glad that I did , ive tried everything from chips to chops and it has cooked everything to perfection . I make a note of times and temp so that I know for the next time . Super easy to clean and also easy too use aswell which is a bonus, if like me you are a little dubious take a punt and get this one .

I’ve got absolutely nothing that I can improve with this though, absolutely amazing air fryer and I’m glad it is as I spent hours comparing prices, features and everything. The cookbook is useless but it’s cute that they try to impress you with it. The actual air fryer though, you will not find any better, it is so easy to clean with a detachable tray. Temperature control and timing could not be any easier, even a child can make excellent food with this. I rarely give 5 stars unless a product is perfect and here I am giving 5 stars due to the fact this has made me save so much money and I never eat takeaways anymore! Amazing product.

Frying your food in this fryer is very easy and if you prep your chips from scratch that is all the effort that you will need to put in, selecting what crispiness you want your food to be is easy with a few pictures and buttons to press. The flavour of the chips we have got out are spectacular and on chippy Friday it saves us a lot of money. After you have enjoyed your meal cleaning the fryer is another very easy task, all you need is a bit of soap and water and a gentle sponge, unlike some other fryers that can leave you scrubbing the sides for a long time.

Why are these are called air fryers and not mini fan ovens?
Anyway first impressions are very good, only used it 3 times so far but now eager to get cooking and experiment with some of my own recipes.
First up was a handful of oven chips, not my favourite thing but they were cooked in half the time and as they cooked faster the outside wasn’t burnt but the inside was nice and fluffy, not dry like all the oven chips I’ve eaten before. The buzzer went off half way through to remind me to shake the chips, I just turned they out into a pan and back again instead as it just seems easier and they all get a good shake that way.
Next was just warming up a quiche (called an egg & bacon pie in my day), dead quick and done in about 7mins.
Then yesterday my other half cooked a couple of minted lamb chops. Now she will be the first to admit she’s really not been blessed by the gods of cooking and uses the smoke alarm to let me know when the dinners ready but they were truly the best lamb chops I’ve ever eaten! Cooked for 20mins instead of the 25mins recommended and turned half way through, they were better than I’ve ever cooked under the grill and easily as good as I’ve ever barbecued. I’ve now taken to calling my wife Nigella.
We’re looking forward to the chicken I’ve got marinating in the fridge and some of our favourite bangers from the local butcher tonight.
    Happy cooking.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersIt was time to replace our Breville Halo after solid use for over 5 years. We are a family of 5 and use our airfryer at least 6 times a day so we needed something that would suit our needs.

I didn’t want to pay the inflated prices of the top brands and similarly didn’t want anything too cheap that it would break after a month of solid heavy use.
I spent time looking at different brands and hadn’t heard of Cosori so was a bit wary. I needn’t be as it has exceeded my expectations. It comes with a book of recipes which is a nice touch.

I prefer the compact style and shape of the Cosori and love the drawer design as I seem to fit more in than my previous Halo.

The cleaning of the unit is an absolute joy so quick and easy bearing in mind ours has heavy use. Most of the time it only needs a wipe to remove the fat and bits and then you can clean in hot soapy water. Whatever the non-stick coating is that they use it’s amazing.
We haven’t put ours in the dishwasher as yet.

The only downside and it’s not really an issue, is the noise when it’s cooking but you do get used to it.
The preset timings are great however you may want to tinker about with it to suit how you like food cooked. The ability to change the exact temp and time is a plus.

We have cooked croissants, bacon, sausages, burgers, fries, chicken tikka, fish, homemade keto pizza and lots more.

If you are looking for an airfryer I highly recommend the Cosori, we couldn’t be without ours.

This is my first Air fryer! My student daughter loves hers and so I thought I’d take the plunge and get one myself, I was really sick of buying, emptying and disposing of 3 litres of oil on the regular!

I did my research and popular tech reviewers like Good Housekeeping magazine rated the Cosori highly so I put it in my Anazon basket and sat wondering if it was really worth the best part of a 100!

Then came a nice little 15 off special offer from Amazon so I went for it!

It arrived next day, very well packaged and it looks great on the worktop, definitely not the eyesore of a stinky deep fat fryer!

It comes with a quick start leaflet and a recipe book.

It’s a great sized basket, we’re a family of 5 and it’s big enough for making most things for us all in one go – enough chips etc or roasties (can there ever be ‘enough’ roasties?)

Now, the first time I used it, stick a bag if frozen chips in and hit ‘play’, shook halfway etc and they tasted like cardboard! Crispy but dry! and I was ready to write it off …

But! I joined the Cosori UK Facebook page and did some reading and tried again, this time I put my chips in a bowl, splash of oil, stirred them around and they tasted perfect!

We’ve since made burgers, chicken, even crumpets in the air fryer! I’m a bit of a play it by eye on the timings but it really uhs a great machine!

Buy it and try it and persevere and you’ll be air frying up a storm in no time!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersMy family and I absolutely love this. I bought it when the first air fryer I’d purchased, a Phillips, burnt the food when the timer didn’t work (manual timer). After a bit of research I decided to go for an unknown brand (to me). It surpassed our expectations. The 5.5 L capacity means I can do a decent amount of food in the basket. I find if you put too much it, it doesn’t cook as well so tend to cook for 3 – 4 people and do food in batches if there are more of us.
It’s incredibly easy to use. So innovative and simple. There’s a cook book to get you started and give you ideas.
The only negatives are: you have to yank the basket to pull it out as the catch is quite strong. Or use two hands which isn’t always practical. But this is a very small niggle. Secondly, there is a sliding plastic catch to cover the button that releases the basket from the tray. Great idea. However, I find it really hard to press the button as it’s inset and I can’t press it because of my finger nails. I end up having to use two hands and really concentrate so that my fingernail doesn’t catch on the edge and rip off. My nails aren’t overly long and are natural so I think this is a design flaw that should be looked at for future models.
Having said that, I can’t recommend it highly enough. I use it most days and am sorely tempted to buy a second one so that I can cook more in it without having to do batches. I think I’ll wait until the button design on the basket has changed though.
It’s reasonably large so do check measurements and the space in your kitchen. It fits under a hanging cupboard easily and I slide it out when using it (hot steam out the back).
Awesome piece of kit and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Buy one!!

    2ND AMENDMENT, COMPLETELY REWRITTEN REVIEW.

This is a good, value for money device with one weakness: the handle attaching inner basket to main drawer.

But, looking at other makes, it is a design weakness and could be remedied easily.

    My workaround is below.

I bought the largest size to be able to spread food more thinly; it speeds up cooking time considerably and makes it easier to stir not shake.

Received replacement basket today, 6 days after emailing seller in a rage.

The basket seems fine, it’s the right one.

Delivered by DPD, sent from Germany.

Vendor arranged this to be sent to replace the original one which broke after nine months usage – once a day, most days; I burned my hand stopping it dropping to the floor.

If you DO NOT SHAKE THE BASKET!!!!!!! it should be fine.

1: to prep, clean and dry basket and drawer, click together, insert and PREHEAT!

2: when it beeps, remove drawer WITH BASKET STILL ATTACHED, use an oven glove to support the drawer, place on a HEAT RESISTANT SURFACE (I use an old pizza stone), add food, then into unit to cook.

3: when ‘shake alarm’ sounds, remove as above, use PLASTIC spoons – or spoon and slice – to turn the food in situ.

4: drawer back in, to finish cooking.

5: when cooked, remove as above AND ONLY THEN: use button to separate basket, tip basket onto plate or into bowl with kitchen roll to degrease.

6: wait until cool – at least 3 hours – before washing.

NB: EVERY time, BEFORE you use, double check the screws holding the basket to the handle.

When I GENTLY flipped the contents like a pizza, it tended to loosen them, I suspect this was a factor in the handle breaking.

It would be better if the handle had a steel skeleton, covered in places with plastic!

Last comment, when it finishes, press the power button and immediately switch off at wall socket and unplug; before removing drawer.

Very easy to forget to do so.

Not critical, but as a safety measure, not least in case of power surges, a good idea.

    Last of original review:

It was fine for 9 months, although I had to tighten the screws holding the inner basket to the handle every twoish weeks, nonstick didn’t last long.

Cleaning was OK – using kitchen wipes then kitchen roll. Bit tricky round heating element.

14 June 2020: usual protocol; shake alarm beeped, I pulled the drawer out, put it on the pizza stone I use as a HEAT rest, pressed the release to lift – handle came away, basket dropped into main drawer with me acting as a barrier; burnes my hand on the basket.

Was able to get it to finish cycle and it sort of works but not for long.

Maybe just bad luck, but this device favours style over robustness.

I was exceptionally p***ed off at so short a life cycle. I had expected up to 3 years cooking oven chips etc.

NB: oven ready frozen is OK; fresh is a disaster unless you pre steam THEN spray with oil – in a separate bowl!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersA good looking machine which isn’t to big cluttering up the worktop. Mrs C likes clear worktops so it will go in a cupboard. Its simple to use and according to Mrs C even I could use it if she ever gave me permission, but as she said I don’t need to know any more than how to wash the basket. The machine comes with a comprehensive cook book and easy to follow instructions. The only thing Mrs C doesn’t like is the button that releases the basket. It does appear to be a little on the fragile side. Its made of that hard brittle plastic which in my experience never lasts very long. So we will keep our fingers crossed and as we are both aware of it we will be very careful. Mrs C used it for the first time this evening. Technology / machines is one of the s those subjects Mrs C can normally live without but she did throw herself into going through the instruction manual. It took ten minutes the she put in her marinated chicken thighs. It took about twenty five minutes and we had beautifully browned
chillied chicken it looked good and tasted even better. You have to use very little oil i think she used one of those spray oils. So first impressions very good it uses little oil just a couple of sprays and it cooks really quickly .

We still have to give the basket a little tug, but better that than it comes flying out. Hubby couldn’t wait to try out his new toy, and first on the list was chips. We pressed the button to switch on the fryer, which lit up the panel of options. The accompanying booklet gives instructions for temperature, pre-heat, time etc. When we first switched it on there was a plastic smell, but this didn’t linger. Our first batch of chips was made with spray oil and the second time we used the recommended amount of olive oil – both batches turned out fine and there wasn’t a lot of difference. Half way through the cooking time there is a buzzer which reminds you to shake the basket. We used the ‘keep warm’ facility for our first batch but found the chips weren’t quite so crisp when we served them, however they were still delicious. You aren’t going to achieve ‘deep fried’ chips but they are superior to oven cooked chips. We’ve also tried out whole sweetcorn, again with spray oil, and I much preferred this to the usual boiled version. The recipe book has some amazing dishes – I can’t wait to try out the various recipes for chicken wings. We used three large potatoes cut into chips and they fitted into the basket easily, and it could probably have held 3 to 4 sweetcorns. I hesitated to buy this as I didn’t want it to be another gadget sitting on the bench gathering dust, but I’m sure we’re going to be using this regularly. We don’t put the baskets in the dishwasher, although you can, we find it just as easy to give them a quick wash and wipe dry. This was a good buy, we’re pleased with our purchase and I can’t wait to experiment with it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersi wish i had read more reviews, ours came out of the box, i’m not even sure its brand new as it had a letter missing on the product, and suprise suprise the touchscreen does not work.

having returned the original one, we got sent another one to test, the product worked straight out of the box, we have since only cooked some lovely chunky chips, they came out lovely, i can see us using this air fryer ALOT. therefore i am going to up my review score to 4 for now. if the first one we got had worked properly out of the box i think i would of given this a five star review. Credit to the company for putting customers first.

the air fryer was in the middle of cooking chips when the electrics flashed a few times and then there was a loud bang. If I hadn’t of been there to unplug it I would guess it was going to catch fire.
    HORRENDOUS AND DANGEROUS PRODUCT.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersWell, what can I say?.
This Cosori air fryer has totally changed the game in my kitchen, no more heating big power hungry ovens, no more waiting 20 minutes for them to heat up, no more getting on my hands and knees to clean them.
My only regret in the whole purchase of this air fryer is that I sat on the fence for way too long before buying one.
The Cosori is very elegant looking, and all the relevent controls are backlit and easy to understand, there’s a handy pre heat button that hearts the Cosori for 5 minutes, and after that it’s as simple as setting the corresponding button to whatever your cooking.
Heating is achieved by way of a heating element that is convected by a fan, ensuring cooking is even within the device.
Food is cooked evenly and thoroughly throughout, chicken is juicy and fries crispy, and even making simple nachos results in beautifully melted golden cheese.
I’ve even tried a little baking, and the pastries I made were awesome, to the point my wife thought I’d shop bought them.
Even better, the Cosori is as easy to clean as it is to cook with, and with just a soapy kitchen sponge any cooking mess was cleaned spotless in a couple of minutes, returning the item to new for your next use.
If I had any concerns about the Cosori, I’d have to say I’m a little worried about the long term use of the basket, it’s made from fairly light and thin alloy and there is plastic components on the outside of the cooking area that only the test of time will prove it’s longevity, but other than that, it’s a fantastic made product.
So for anyone, who like I was, are debating if the Cosori is a worthwhile purchase, I can hand on heart say it most definitely is.
    Buy it! Buy it now!

I decided to buy an AF because I was tired at how long and inefficient it was to pre-heat an entire oven, and then cooking time on top, just for a portion of chips, etc. Meals would take well over an hour to cook.

I did a lot of research and settled on this Cosori AF (and I caught it on a lightening deal which helps), and all I can say is how glad I am that I did. This has revolutionised our meals.

Cooking chips, chicken (nuggets, breasts, tenders, etc) is so easy and fast that 90% of our meals are now cooked in the AF. I’ve packed my optigrill, etc away.

A hidden suprise is how well it makes toast, and by extension, toasted cheese sandwiches or toasted croutons for soup, etc.

My only gripe is that, even though this is the bigger size, it’s difficult to fit some frozen foods in the basket (e.g. flatbread, which it cooks beautifully such that it’s crunchy on the outside but soft and doughy on the inside). But that’d be the case with any other AF too.

Honestly, this is one of my better purchases. We’re very happy with it.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersOverall, I’m happy with this air fryer.
    – It looks great
    – Its very easy to use
    – it was reasonably priced considering the size, quality and positive reviews
    – it comes with a recipe book
    – I used to avoid using my oven due to the cost of running it (I cook for one). Now I can roast and bake in this without worrying as it heats up quickly, cooks faster and it’s smaller so will use less power to maintain the temperature during cooking
    – it’s not that noisy, it sounds like my hood extractor on the lowest setting
    – healthier cooking and eating!

The only downsides so far are:
    – the only way to cook a whole chicken in it (as advertised) is to cut the chickens back and semi “butterfly” spread it as the basket is quite shallow. That’s no big deal though
    – the basket is difficult to remove from the pan (maybe mine is slightly faulty but when I press the button, the basket doesn’t detach the way it should)

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI admit I have a gadget addiction. You name it I’ve probably had or still have it, so I think I can spot the really useful machines that truly help out vs the faddy, takes up too much room, why did I buy that sort of regretful machines!

This Cosori air fryer is hands down the best machine I’ve ever bought. Easy to use & clean and it honestly works. I’ve had it a few days so naturally we’re having fun with the sorts of crispy foods I normally have little success with i.e chips but in time we’ll be enjoying loads of different foods! I’m delighted to report this machine cooks excellent crunchy, fluffy oven chips 25mins, melt in the mouth ribeye, rump and sirloin steak 6 mins, succulent roast chicken pieces 25 mins, apple pie and steak slices took 3 mins to heat up. Quick toddler friendly meals like chicken nuggets or pizza, to mention a few ideas are also quick and easy. Of course there’s scope for loads of meals – you’ll need a few accessories for some but they’re available to buy so kebabs, muffins, even toast are all well within this machine’s abilities with the right tools. The recipe book is unexpectedly good, very straightforward too.

I haven’t had my oven on since this machine arrived because I can cook different meals for my family using one pan. I cook for my daughter first and then when my husband and my meal is cooking I can be feeding Isabelle while it does. I’m enjoying the easy cleanup after cooking – drain excess oil and shove the tray in the dishwasher and you’re done.

Takes 3 to 5 mins to heat up, temperature/time is adjusted at the press of a digital button. You should spray the food with a few squirts of cooking spray but you don’t need a lot. There are presets that help while you learn to cook with it but they are adjustable to taste. I expected it to be huge with it being the 5 litre version but it’s not, it’s neat, square and a glossy black – a similar size to a espresso machine. I found the noise to be minimal too which is useful for an open plan home like ours.

I love that it’s so easy to use after a demanding day and that my toddler can’t reach it on the kitchen side unlike the oven which she has an alarming interest in at the moment. Its a shove the food in and do other things sort of machine. It beeps loudly after the preheat, when it’s time to shake the food using the preset functions and also once it’s finished cooking do you could be in other rooms if necessary.

YouTube has some interesting recipes and reviews you might want to watch before you buy but I would genuinely recommend this to anyone who asks.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI absolutely love this air fryer, cooking options are limitless!. You get the same oil fried texture without the excess oil. For crispy food apply oil spray to food. The results are fantastic, no more strong frying smells in the kitchen as the smell of cooking is well contained. It is important not to over-fill for best results. So quick and easy to use. I threw out my old oil fried out and replaced with this. I wished I bought one sooner!

The only slight disapointment is it is advertised as it can do fahrenheit & celsius but actually the uk model only does celsius it makes it a little awkward when most of the cook books ive bourt are in fahrenheit . Ive knocked it down a star because of that All in all im pleased with my purhase thou
