Very good for cheap dashcams, recommend it. Comes with sd card which is very useful. It’s also lightweight. Quality is not amazing, but it is what you pay for. It would be better if it had a battery built in, that way can be used when car is parked.

    Good for a cheap dashcam

I’ve wanted a dash cam for a while but always found them to be quite expensive. I gave this cheap product from Amazon a go, and can say I’m suitably impressed. It was easy to install, and works exactly as you’d expect. It’s nice to have that peace of mind when driving, especially in the cities where everyone seems to be in a rush.

I’ve not setup the rear camera yet, but intend to soon. I think for the price, it gives decent quality video. I’m happy. I’ve just realised it also has a memory card included. Fab!

Good little cameras front and rear, above average image quality both daylight and night driving. The only problem I found is there is no information available on how to setup and use the rear camera as a reversing camera, you have to figure it out for yourself!

The picture quality is brilliant during the day but the only draw back is at night to much glare maybe the manufactures could invest in putting an antiglare coating on the lens that is the only small problem but over all i still rate it 1000% better in general over all the others out there on the marke

For the money it will back up any insurance claim, bit of glaring at night but does the job. Haven’t fitted the rear one yet but looks easy to install. I don’t have it hard wired so cant comment on park mode etc, and I haven’t contacted it to my reverse switch, so don’t know how it performs as a reverse camera. For the money it does the job and it is a fit and forget job, however I would recommend formatting your sd card every 2 to 3 weeks, it can be done in car.

Was searching a good dash-cam from more than a year for safety of my car when parked and driving on busy roads, Got this after reading good reviews. Its Easy to install and Use ,Really Good quality on this price on amazon , picture is really clear and its cover a large view of sides and footpaths as well, quite impress with it as it came with back camera as well, suction cup is keep falling otherwise happy with this purchase

    Good value of money

Front view camera easy to fit and cable routing not a problem . works well. but rear view camera has a bulky right angle jack plug making it impossible to route cable through existing grommets and loom sleeving ( fitting to a Peugeot 208) between tailgate and car body, Only option seems to to cut the cable at a suitable position and reconnect using small crimps or soldered joints not easy on such a small cable, installation would be easier if fitted with a straight jack plug

Unfortunately I can’t give a proper review as this item has been bought as a chrisrmas present but from the feed back I’ve received from family members they are quite happy with it and they’ve believe the person who it’s intended for will like it too

Didn’t like the poor English used in the operating instructions booklet – made it very difficult to read. However, did like the fact that a follow-up email from the seller attempted to clarify matters. Too soon to pronounce judgement on performance.

The camera quality is excellent, easy to install. After an incident I wanted to be protected for next time. I feel safe and secure now.
A must have dash cam as it also have a rear camera which take very clear shot of registration also in case of an incident. Easy to use and install footage on pc is very simple.
Happy with the purchase on a very decent price .

Received this dashcam on 28th October 2021 and had no problems getting it up and running. Simple and so easy to install. I have used it in a variety of conditions. The picture quality is sharp and clear with front and rear cameras. The rear window on my C-MAX is tainted but does not effect the clarity. I have driven at night and again the picture was almost as if it was filming during the day; night vision means exactly night vision, and I can’t fault it. The SD card is already installed and ready to go. RECOMMENDED.

    Small, compact, great purchase.

Only draw backs are you need to hard wire it for all the features, had to use the soldiering iron to hardwire and know about electrics.

This is only really designed for plug and play in cigarette lighter which would look terrible having cables all ou

I’m so impressed with this item. The picture quality is just so clear. I bought this item to replace an old dash cam that broke and this one is just so much better.
The feel of the dash cam is like a really expensive one. There’s many features too.
The instructions aren’t perfect but really it’s pretty much self explanatory.
I like that it has a rear camera too, didn’t have one before but this also helps me park too.

I Have now tested it at night and as expected the quality is excellent. Very pleased.

The Front camera comes with great wide angle, the video quality is great for even small letters and number plate reading , setting up was very easy instructions are very clear ,Rear camera helps covering wide angle and reversing with confident as we put in our van which had no reverse camera or sensors.

Its excellent quality with fair price, highly recommend this product, so glad got this one .

Easy to install. Instructions a little vague but simple to follow. Plenty of vehicle specific assistance on line as well (VW Polo). Worked (almost) straight out of the box. Good quality pictures, even the night vision was better than I expected. Only problem was a fault on the rear camera lead which did not work when connected to the reversing light. Returned for a refund. I will probably buy the same one again. Recommended.

Neat and tidy device. Had a problem after about two weeks when it developed a black spot on the screen. Contacted the seller for advice who sent out a new replacement without me even asking for one. Overjoyed with the service from the seller and wouldn’t have any problem with recommending them or the dash cam to anybody.

Ok this dash cam is very easy to fit. Pick a spot check it by putting you mobile phone in the same place take a photo and boom you have your spot, the wiring is very long so you will have plenty to play with, the review camera for me was a bit tricky but didn’t take long to install. With this dash cam you can review the front footage immediately the one down side is for the Rear view you need to pop the memory card (that comes with it) in a laptop or tablet or pc. The functionality of this dash cam is very easy, if your concerned about the camera distracting you as you drive this camera has a screen saver the screen stays black. Would I recommend this product yes I would.

Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersOk, so for 40, this is actually pretty good overall.

You get a forward-facing camera that records in 1080p (although I have literally just installed the front camera as I write this, so haven’t had a chance to analyse any footage), as well as a tiny camera for mounting in the rear windscreen. The cables are very long – more than adequate, and the rear camera comes with a bare-ended cable (I assume for connecting to the rear reversing light for the LED’s).

The instruction book is well laid out, with your standard bad grammar that looks like someone used Google Translate to convert something like Chinese into English, throughout the booklet (but this shouldn’t stop anyone understanding everything in the content 🙂 )

The thing that really stood out to me as *very* shoddy, is the cheap plastic mount that the camera slots onto… it’s very badly made, and if you clip the camera all the way into the slot, it wobbles about – no chance of any steady footage whatsoever. I ended up only partly sliding the clip together, which means the release lever presses down on top of the camera, stopping any wobble. Honestly, the plastic used on the mount is so cheap, it feels like it could break at the slightest pressure.

Overall – The Camera is great (5 stars) but the build quality is very poor (1 star off for that).

Will have a look at the camera quality as soon as I am able.

I bought this for my husband, he loves it, the camera and picture quality are both fantastic. He has a convertible so has been unable to link up the rear camera as yet, but I’m sure he will in due course. He hates cables but there was plenty of cable for him to install the front camera with hardly any wires showing. It was also very easy to set up

Golden Review Award: 90 From Our UsersGot a motorhome and needed a reversing and dash cam.
This plugs into your cigarette lighter port at the front, the dash cam sticks to the window perfectly.
The rear camera runs on a wire to the back and has an adhesive pad for the rear window, personally I have to put it at a weird angle because of the bike rack on the back of the motorhome. But I use a bit of white tac and it’s stuck there perfectly.
Can’t fault this device AT ALL. Brilliant bit of kit, better than the reversing camera I got on a modern car.
I can’t recommend this highly enough, it’s great!

I have a 4 berth 1999 Fiat Ducato motorhome (like large van sized) and the cable for the rear camera stretches easily to the back window of it, I tape it along the edges of the cupboards. Could go a bit further as well for a 6 berth with no garage I think.

The dash cam was surprisingly well made and good quality video for the money.
All the kit and ample camera/ power supply cable was provided.
I did have an initial problem with the power cable from the cigarette lighter not working properly, but I contacted the retailer and they have replaced it.
Happy with it so far – I’ve used it for a couple of weeks, and it works well.
It does sometimes cut out then restart immediately, but that could be the alternative power supply I’ve been using.
Overall, I think it’s good value and good quality, and well worth the peace of mind the front and rear cameras give you.

This is crazy! A decent camera that’s easy to use, a tiny rear camera that fits inconspicuously on the back window and ample leads to run from front to rear and from the ciggie plug to the front camera. On top of all this a 32gb micro SD card as well! This has been well thought out and all I had to add was a couple of cable clips to hold stuff in place for the rear cam lead.
Then the road test, despite comments to the contrary, this does show Picture In Picture, the rear cam uses the top right hand quarter of the front camera screen. The suction mount holds the camera rock steady but isn’t a ‘sticky’ suction mount, I fully expect it to fall off in heat of a sunny day, but it may not!
I don’t anticipate using it anytime soon at night so I don’t know what the night vision is like.
All in all, for the price, it’s an amazing piece of equipment. Highly recommended !!

So far so good, nice little dash cam for the price, worked straight out of the box. Thought I would add an update… Camera is working fine with the exception of the time, my camera is powered all the time and in a course of 24 hours the cameras time loses around 20 mins but if you cut the power allow it to turn off, then turn power back on the time corrects itself. Other than that the camera works well

There is a huge range of dashcams available now, and this is clearly at the very cheap end, but nevertheless the quality is excellent – very easy to install, and it’s a much better image than I expected. Just driven for a few minutes and checked the footage – easy to read numbers plates and a very wide angle so it’s exactly what I needed – I don’t want all the bells and whistles, as they generally get in the way. Instead I’ve got a dashcam that turns on automatically and switches off when I leave the car. I don’t imagine I’ll review footage now unless there’s an accident, so it’s my ideal precautionary measure. Highly recommended!

  40. ChetChevalier says:

So I brought the dashcam for my sister, as she pass her driving test 1st time back in October ,
So excellent camera the picture is crystal clear for the front camera, day time running.
Rear camera it’s alright day time a little grainy but it’s great for having eyes in the back of the car, as for the night time when a car comes up behind you, you get white out but when no one is behind you, and you’re on a street with lights. it’s alright,
Night time for the front camera isn’t to bad either some flickering I think it’s trying to actually adjust the change in the light from street lights to back roads with no lights and just your car lights, the sound as some good moment, but could be better,
But we have noticed one thing and it’s a little annoying.. I get why it does it as it can help if something bad has happened or you have witness something, once the memory card is full… that is it, it doesn’t over write on the memory card,
So I’ve took some pictures from the lap top, the picture’s are as follows 2, night time from the front, 1 with main beam, one without out,
1, day time and 1 night time for the rear camera,
The rear camera night-time note it doesn’t have night vision, and the front camera has (wrd) like a night vision. I think that is it, it’s has good and bad but for what it does she is loving it just someone who sits in the car doing a job looking out for one person who needs to push in or cute you up on roundabout because they’re in the wrong lane, and don’t understand you can go around again,
So ( just may need to run 2 memory cards at a time one in one out )

    It's great, bu

Easy to install even for a non-technical like me. The wires I just tucked behind my sun visor and down my door shut and the rear down the side under the mats.

Fitted to my vauxhall vivaro, reversing cam cord just long enough to place cam by numberplate, have not checked any recordings yet but it has an occasional issue where the front cam is just displaying lines so looks like I’m going to have to uninstall it and return. Golden Review Award: 26 From Our UsersThis came quickly and was well packaged. The camera already had the 32Gb memory card installed.
Set up was not too tricky, though the menus are not super intuitive, you soon get the hang of it, and to be fair once set up you don’t really need to do much. The videos are recorded in Quicktime, would be nicer for me if they were in a more Microsoft friendly format but thats really a personal preference. The construction of the unit seems to be reasonable rather than super high quality. However the video quality seems to be pretty good and the wide angle view give a good record of what’s going on. You really need to bear in mind that this costs just over 30 including the 32Gb card. As a basic cheap dashcam it’ll take the pictures you want, and for the money it’s really good value. I haven’t installed the rear view camera as I don’t like wires trailing around the van, maybe a project for a weekend! Would recommend considering this if you’re on a budget and want something that will get the job done.

Purchased this and it arrived very quickly. Was easy to install, I just bought some sticky hooks to attach the wire to the car roof lining. Our only slight problem to date has been that the rear view camera falls off and as we are changing the car soon don’t want to use the provided screws to fix this on but some heavy duty sticky pads should easily do the trick. Very pleased with product so have just ordered a second one for my car.

Both cameras were decent quality and not too bulky. 32Gb card included, not all suppliers give this. Cable length was very generous. Added feature was to wire into the reverse lamp which gives you a reversing camera feature. Also got an extended warranty.
Dislike was the power lead was a plug in unit, but my vehicle did not have a plug in socket. So I had to purchase a hard wired kit instead.

This is my first dash cam and for the price it’s decent. The front camera quality is good – the rear cam isn’t so good, due to it being 720p but nonetheless, it does the job. Only issue is the camera interferes with the radio signal, so I will have to find a solution to that. Instructions are easy to read and understand. I would recommend hardwiring this to the fuse box. Overall, I’m pleased with this product.

    Serves its purpose

I had this hardwired into my car around a week ago. After a day or so, I encountered a problem where the front cam kept rebooting, and in reboot the image was just vertical bars. I contacted Amazon, who gave me the 3rd party seller’s contact details. Within 3 days, they’d sent a replacement with no quibble! Really good service!
The camera itself is very satisfactory at the price. The point made about the parking guard, where the boot up time negates the effectiveness of it, is valid, but I bought it for the front and rear camera, the 32g memory card (included) and the facility to hardwire it which eliminates the need for wires dangling all around the dashboard.
The menus are user-friendly, the image quality is superb, and, in its price bracket, it’s the best performer I’ve come across.

Golden Review Award: 77 From Our UsersI am new to the world of dashcams but this seems to be a thoroughly decent bit of kit.
It comes with everything that you need for it to be installed (if you don’t need it to be hardwired) and there is a separate hardwire kit (which I don’t have yet as it has to be purchased separately) for if you want to hardwire it.
The cable for the rear camera is suitably long and will allow you to fit the rear camera in most size cars.
The screen quality is good and you can switch between front and rear camera at the touch of a button.
It comes with a 32gb memory card, which seems to do the job just fine.
The mounting rig for the front camera is good and has a strong suction cup to keep it attached. Mine has been on for a few weeks now and it doesn’t look like it is going to go anywhere.
I’m not sure about how well the night vision aspect of the cameras will work as I have both installed inside my car, looking out through the glass and I would imagine that reflection from the IR LEDs on the glass will probably obscure much of the night vision aspect. I haven’t actually tried to use the camera at night but hopefully while driving along with headlights on it will still do the job nicely.
All in all a great little kit with everything that you need to get going.

I’m really pleased with this dash cam which I bought purely for my own peace of mind. In my opinion it is essential to have one of these in your car these days. It is easy to set up and install and really user friendly; basically plug and go. The quality of the images are impressive and it gives me the reassurance I need when driving on our congested roads and when leaving my car whilst I’m at work in the city.
    A highly recommended purchase!

If you want a ‘plug and play this is it. However, I wanted to hide the cable and not use a power outlet in the car. So, i stripped out the windscreen surround, side of dash, door step etc and wired the unit into the fuseboard in the car. Works fine, instructions could be better though. Have not yet wired the reversing camera in as this would require removing headliner to prevent hanging wires

  52. FaeReichert says:

Golden Review Award: 84 From Our UsersSetup was easy peasy. stick the camera on the windscreen, insert a micro SD card, start your engine and drive. The camera starts recording whenever it turns on, and it turns on whenever the engine starts up. No fuss, once setup you only need to touch it if you want to take footage off the camera. If the card gets full, it writes over the oldest video file.
Overall it’s a robust camera with a tough exterior with good footage quality and hopefully will last a good while that I hope I never have to use but in this climate of false claims and seemingly worse drivers is an essential requirement for every driver.
Never got around to installing the rear camera as I would need to get some one to install it so can’t comment on this feature.

I’m pleasantly surprised by this dash cam for the money. You get a lot with this camera kit. You get Front-facing camera with suction mount and power cable that plugs into a car power socket. You also get a rear camera, with a lead that plugs into the camera. There is also a wire that you can attach to the reversing lamp circuit that changes the camera display to full-screen from the rear camera so you can use it as a reversing camera, but I haven’t done that as of yet. The picture quality of the main camera is good. The rear camera is very small but effective. It comes supplied with a 32GB micro SD card.

Recently i was involved in a car accident that wasn’t my fault. It was tiring going back and forth with insurance companies about how it all happened. Therefore I’m relieved to now have such a quality dash cam in place. My car isn’t on a drive so I can sleep easier knowing I can catch whatever goes on in such high quality. The picture quality is great both in day and night as you can see surroundings clearly. The camera itself was very easy to setup and doesn’t look unsightly. I will be recommending this to friends and family.

Easy to set up. Stays on window. Good picture quality in daytime. Not used it at night yet so can’t comment on night time quality. Not used rear camera yet as it means running cable through my new car which already has a reversing camera. Will work on how to install it without tearing the car apart or having a loose cable trailing through the car. I’m hoping that it won’t be that neccessary to use the rear one, as I guess that most rear end shunts come after you have stopped, and the front camera will prove that you stopped and didn’t actually reverse into them.
Haven’t used the parking function yet where the camera is supposed to be in standby untill something hits the car, as some reviews have complained of draining their battery when using it. I’ve accidentally left it plugged in plenty of times for several hours when I have parked and it’s been ok, and at night it’s off road. very impressed for the money.

hese items used to cost hundreds a few years ago – now they are under 30 and work well – this one has a memory card and worked out of the box on standard settings – attached to car power so turns on when you start the engine – super simple and instructions in English

    very pleased indeed !

The cameraquality from the front is really good, works well at night time.
    The rear camera works well.
The only annoyance I have found is that there is no flip feature on the rear camera so everything is backwards on recorded footage, VLC media player does have a feature to flip the recorded footage, so not a big deal.

The camera doesn’t track your speed and does not have GPS built in.
The G sensor works well as does park mode.
Overall a very good camera for the cost 🙂

Replacement for an old dash cam I had, and definitely you can see improvement on this one.

Really easy to setup, just need a little of cable management for the rear one.

Good quality video when moving which is important because of its purpose.

    Easy to read number plates.

Easy to control and has a lot of settings if you want to fiddle with them, loop recording to save memory space, it comes with a 32gb memory card.

    Clear video and easy setup

Golden Review Award: 112 From Our UsersAfter having used this basic dashcam in my car which i had bought sometime early 2018, stopped working 4 months ago. Whilst driving within 5 min of its start it just shuts down automatically. I checked all the cables which were working perfectly fine but never kept itself up :(. So thought of going for a dual camera this time but not expensive as these devices do last very long. I have seen some of them are very expenvie in a price range for more than 200 but of course its an individual choice.

    Package Content:
    1x in car Front Dashcam
    1x Front dash cam suction
1x Front dash cam in car power cable
    1x in car Rear cam
1x Rear cam double side sticky tape
1x Rear cam to front came connection cable
    1x 32GB memory card
    1x User manual

Installation is very simple. Since I have installed a dash cams before it wasn’t difficult to install it again. I generally don’t like wires hanging around on the dash board or blocking my view so I tucked them inside the car frame. It just hides all the bits and looks very neat and tidy.

The challenging part for me was the best location to place the rear cam on the boot door as I have hatchback and want to make sure wire doesn’t get trapped when closing the boot. Since the camera is very tiny I decided to install in the top center, it doesn’t block any view from the rear view mirror either. The rear camera wiring comes in with additional wires (red) attached to it. Apparently you can attach these additional wires directly into the car wiring so when you reverse you car it will show up on your display screen. Since I already have a reverse camera built in to the in car system so I don’t this feature benefit me at all, but it is good to have this installed if you don’t have a reverse camera already.

The video and the picture quality is very good, I like the idea that the rear cam recordings are recorded in the main dash cam which can be accessed from the memory card on the computer/tablet or a mobile phone. With both recordings going into the same memory card even in a loop mode it won’t be enough to keep revidence (images/videos) in a high resolution mode. It is best to have a large capacity memory card so you can hold the evidence (images/videos) for a longer period of time, so I am thinking of buying a 128GB sd card. When you shut the car engine it dash cam will continue to record for 10 seconds.

I have also tried to test the parking mode sensor. When the car engine was off I hit on the windshield which triggered the dash cam and powered on itself and started recording. So a great feature to have when parked in a public car park.

The manual is well written and not at all difficult to follow the instructions.

For the money you spend overall the camera quality with night vision is good especially when you get 2 camera for the price.

NOTE: if you are not comfortable attaching the rear cam wiring into the car system then I would suggest you seek assistance from someone who is familiar with this kind of installation or any garage would do that for you.

Front and rear in car cam for the price you cannot fault it.

Golden Review Award: 76 From Our UsersI bought these dash cams for my daughters car. As you can see from the pictures what is included in the box the main front camera with attachment, the car socket charger, the rear small camera with a very long wire to connect to the car cigarette lighter & a 32gb memory card, which was a surprise because I did not expect it to include a memory card! A bargain!

The camera is very easy to install (read the manual) the buttons on the camera are used to adjust the angle, the brightness etc. The picture quality is very clear & precise, night vision is very good too. You can record everything on the memory card & then delete it as & when you want or let it record till the memory card is full then delete it all together. It’s a very valuable asset for your car & the safety of the driver. I can’t imagine not having a dash cam in this day & age & this is one of the best quality cameras you can find.

    Very good quality Dash Cam

Wasn’t expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised, quality on both cameras is good enough to read close license plates (might have trouble with plates further away at speed with some blurring). Installation was relatively easy. Buttons/menus are easy to use. You can switch views on the screen between front only, rear only, split screen, and picture in picture, which is really useful.

Golden Review Award: 82 From Our UsersMy partner had a crash last year and I was meaning to get her a dash cam. I wasn’t expecting much from such a cheap dash cam, but have been pleasently surprised.

It includes a rear view camera but we have not installed this as really only want a front facing one. Installation was fairly easy in a VW UP and the camera interface was fairly simple once you work out the buttons.

Built quality seems good and the cables seem solid unlike my previous dashcam where they felt really thin.
I was dubious about the 32gb sd card included as alot of them are fake ones and are a much lower capacity, however after running some tests on it I can confirm it is a 32gb SD card and not a 1gb one.

Picture quality seems good, I cannot comment on microphone quality as we have it muted, but I suspect it will be fine for what you’re paying for it.

Very happy with the camera, for such a cheap price I’d say it’s worth a buy.

Very clear picture, this is the first dash cam I’ve bought… I’m very happy with it; easy to install & works as it should do. Records when the engine is running and a little bit after. Night recording is good. Watch the recordings on the camera with ease.

It comes with a memory card which is good, when the memory is full it is easy to clear. Also comes with a reasonably long power lead that plugs into the cigarette lighter port in the vehicle.

Well packaged & arrived in good time.

Video quality is excellent during the day with the video recordings very clear and smooth. Pleasantly surprised I am about the wide Aufhnahme, i. the wide-angle lens works well. I like the design of this dash cam looks nice and handy. It’s has 4 powerful functions,
G-sensor, allow you detect the motions, monitor parking as well as loop recording, all this super functions bring your car in a safer condition to save and lock files in emergency, it’s save power and storage and record when detect vibration. Therefore, in my opinion, the slightly higher price for this DashCam is justified.

The reviews showed a decent video image which obviously is important but Also for the price it INCLUDES the SD card….the last one I bought didn’t and agh it was a right pain ordering the correct card I think I ended up getting 3 lots till I got the right type. So yep. Nice price nice cam. Happy

Very easy to setup, plug the adapter into the 12v socket and away you go. It’s worth spending some though just to set the date etc.
On the move the quality is surprising good, enough for you to see signs, number plates etc. The sound quality isn’t very good but that didn’t really concern me.
The SD card is included in the box and you can pop it into a laptop or phone to review the footage. It’s a micro SD size. The files on the card are split into 3 minute blocks with a couple of minutes overlap so you should be able to extract any footage that you need.

I decided to get this dash cam for my boyfriend, because the one he had was broken for a while. He left very happy and said that this is a great dash cam money and quality wise. The same day he got fitted in the car,it was easy to set up and it’s very small so it doesn’t obstruct any view from the windscreen, the wires are thin so it was easy to hide too. My boyfriend said it’s very handy piece of equipment which makes him feel safer when driving and he’s very pleased with the simplicity of operation and the quality of the display. I can say that I’m really surprised with the quality of the pictures plus I love the slim and modern design with the big screen if front dash cam. Amazing product would definitely recommend.

It’s not going to win any awards. I’d recommenced buying with the “always on kit” stated in the listing or fitting an old/small USB battery pack in series as the battery doesn’t have a long life. I bought for the sole reason that it dropped my car insurance premium by twice what I paid for it (remember to tick the dash cam fitted in the renewal details). It’s therefor paid for itself within six months. Using the stock memory card and appears to be OK. Haven’t tried rear view camera yet but already plan on buying one for my other half.

Rear camera slightly trickier to fix but not hard for someone who knows what they are doing (my brother did mine for me and works for showing while reversing too.)

Golden Review Award: 112 From Our UsersSharp images from the front facing camera, that a friend who spent three times more was jealous of!

Starts with the car very quickly so nothing is missed. I’ve not had to adjust anything, it’s just worked out of the box.

    Downsides:
    – A maximum 32gb card is common in cheaper cameras, but limits the length of time stored obviously. With only the front camera installed so far, I’m getting a rolling 2-3 hrs of footage I believe.
    – Rear camera doesn’t come with a suction pad to install in the rear window. I’m planning to install it outside through the number plate area, which I believe is best
    – Rear camera doesn’t have any markings to suggest it is waterproof, there maybe issues in the long term therefore with this being outside
    – Although the button to lock footage is simple to use, it seems to only store the current file. As the system rolls between files regularly, I’ve therefore seen a case where pressing the button locked postincident info rather than enough history.

no other issues I can think of at the moment, and I would certainly recommend this camera regardless

My dashcam was delivered on time. It was relatively straight forward to set and use. I did need to email the seller with a couple of questions of which they responded to most quickly and everything was explained and sorted out. There was nothing wrong with the dashcam it was basically a misunderstanding on my part but it should be noted on the sellers behalf of their excellent response time. The playback via the dashcam is good and and on my PC it is very good and captures a lot a features. Whilst playing back night scenes there is a bit of a glare from headlights . As for value for money and quality this dashcam is a good and worthwhile purchase.

I commute to work and wanted a good quality dash cam that won’t break the bank. As you can see in the pics the quality is good during the day and during the worst conditions (foggy, night and rainning)
Really easy to install, comes with an micro sd card. All you need is included in the box. Plugs into the cigarette lighter and turns itself when you turn the engine on. It keeps recording for 10 sec after you turn the engine off. The back camera is small and i basically stick it to the back window.
Cables are not in the way when you drive. Although if you like it to look tidy I’ll probably get it professionally fitted.

Bought this dashcam on saturday and received same day delivery too. For 30 ish i didnt expect much to be honest however, i was pleasantly surprised. Fitted the front and rear camera myself and tucked wires in door seals effortlessly in my Nissan Qashqai. The front camera has a big enough screen and i like that fact you can loop the recording, i have mine set at 5 mins. The rear camera i mounted on my window and it was a little tricky at first but i managed it however, some smaller model cars may differ. It comes with a red wire (for hard wiring to reversing light) but i dont think ill use that as my car has reversing sensors and id like to think im a good enough driver to not use it . It has a parking sensor which detects movement and switches to record but i have yet to use this function. I love that it switches on straight away and starts recording with speech (you can turn speech off if needed) and even has a setting to turn screen off to screensaver mode so it doesn’t distract you from driver. It also comes with a SD 32gb card so once loaded and formatted its ready to go. All in all for 30, the resssurance it gives you when driving it is worth it. Dont spend too much on expensive dash cams, there really is no need. Great piece of kit, thank you!!

The main camera image is very good, as good as my Nextbase camera. The rear image is lower resolution but acceptable, though somewhat difficult to make out registrations.

Installation should be easy, but I discovered the windscreen mount is brittle plastic which broke while attaching. I managed to install with a pair of pliers to rotate the broken lever.

I found the mount where it slides into the top of the camera loose, so the camera would shake while I drove. I fixed this by sticking some tape between the mount and top of the camera to make the mount solid.

    Good value for the price.

Good image quality, dubious mount system

I’ve tried lots of middle of the range dash cams only for them to fail or not work at all . Nice to receive this as I would probably say it does what these expensive models do . I had a nextbase and it broke after 2 hours . Not good . But so far so good with this one . Easy to set up and install . My 1 and only issue is that if you use the power from a cigarette lighter that’s close to your radio . It will interfere a little with signal . So I’m going to hard wire it in . All in all . Worth every pennies.

Packs a punch at this price . Good job .

For the price it’s good. A cash cam is becoming more and more needed these days and this device can save you a lot of hassle. Street and car lights are really bright against the camera so just bare that in mind. The battery seems to be very small and changing will take some time. The build quality is good considering the price, but the mounting device to the windscreen keeps unsticking and falling down.

I bought mine hoping it would be better than my two previous purchases of dashcams (by other manufacturers). This one for the price is by far the best – easy to use and crystal clear imagery on a small screen. It has a wide-angle of vision and although I have yet to fit the rear camera, I am very impressed. Plenty of cable, poor instructions, but it is still a new company and someone should write an idiot’s guide to fitting the rear camera, even though it is easy, it would be nice to be sure

Golden Review Award: 254 From Our UsersThis is my second set, as I set up another one into my wife’s car before, but that is an integrated into the mirror version. That one works as well, but my car has a big plastic box behind the mirror for the different sensors and other malakies, so I needed to find a different one that I can put to another location. I love the fact that for this kind of money you can have a full HD recorder with 2 cameras, and even got a 32Gig car included. It was very easy to set up, it was done and dusted with the reverse camera in just shy of an hour. The best thing about it is that you can just forget about it, nothing to do with it just works. When you turn on the car it turns itself on, and start record automatically, than when you stop the car it switches itself off a bit later. It has a little battery inside, so if it senses any movement while it is stationary turns itself on and start recording as well. You can tell by looking at it, that it is coming from the cheap side of the spectrum, but it doesn’t bother me at all if it works just fine, and it is just doing that so far. I don’t see the point to spend way more than this to have a fancy looking one, unless you are a petrolhead with a big wallet, and want only the fancy stuff in your fancy car, but I suppose those guys don’t even checking this price range. For everybody else I think that this can be a perfectly usable cheap and easy to use option to record your journeys. Pretty much a plug and play set up, works just fine without even going into the settings, just does everything that an average Joe needs.

Easy to set up, you can forget about it.

Bought and installed 2 of these. One in a VW scirocco and another in a VW polo. Used the hardwire kit to keep the wires hidden and tidy which also kee0s the 12v plug free for phone charging.

I’m ok with cars and managed to install everything myself. Took my time and used a combination of YouTube and forums. All looks very clean and professional if I do say myself.

Front cam is easily mounted, feels secure and has good detail.

Rear is a little tricky and I’d recommend using the small screws as the double sided tape is not much use after a week of cold. It’s footage isn’t just as good as the front but still acceptable.

Main criticism is the manual is vague and the English in them, although acceptable l, could be worked on to provide a more professional and clean offering. With that sailed the seller does welcome any requests for help!

All in all very pleased for the money.

Golden Review Award: 160 From Our UsersI bought this dash-cam to record the traffic, without having too many claims from it considering the price. But surprisingly it exceeded my expectations, it shoots well towards the day, and at night it shoots decent, just as you need to see who was at fault in the event of an accident. (but I hope it’s not needed). It is very easy to use, I did not open the user’s manual, it is easy to install, the windshield is type suction cup, it also has the parking mode, the way I strolled when I closed the trunk in the car and the room lit up.
Clearly film, see registration number, stable clamping support, long power cord. The day sees the numbers of the cars quite well, has super colors and does what a dash-cam has to do. In the event of an accident you know for sure that you have some way to prove your innocence. In the evening you can see the numbers of the cars if you are close to the one in front of you at around 20 meters. But again in case of accident you are protected because it films very well the traffic light color and traffic signs.
I didn’t mount the back camera as my car have one, but instead i left it in the back screen. In this way I can record all the time the traffic from behind, very useful feature.
I was very pleased that I didn’t have to buy an extra memory card as this dash-cam comes with a 32GB microSd card. The recordings are replaced at around 1 week on the SD card.
For the money I spent on this room I can say that I am more than satisfied.

I contacted the support team at the manufacturer, who were very quick and helpful in responding to me.

What I found tho is if you hardwire it, turn off motion detection, its tecording in a loop all the time anyway. With motion detection on it will only record forxabout 30 secs everytime its set off, which can include trees or bushes moving in the wind.

Very good screen-mounted camera. inclusion of the 32GB memory card is a great saver. Small and unobtrusive. Did not bother to use the constant live feed since the cigarette power supply comes live only when ignition is switched on. Easy to wire up the rear camera if you want it by feeding through the seal round the edge of the door and along the ceiling to the back of the car, though the 2 tricky things are getting to the live reverse light cable and positioning the camera. The picture quality both front and back is great you get to see a picture in picture image on the screen of the dash cam but when you view the recordings on your computer they are separate so would make it easy if you had a rear end crash to send a dedicated video to your insurance company. I think these are a must have item for any driver now as this makes the insurance companies job easier when paying out. I would recommend this product as it was the best one out there with in this price range.

This is excellent. I couldn’t believe how small it was when I got it out the packet but the quality is really good. I found it rather easy to install and I’m not particularly technical. The instructions are clearly written and if you follow them nothing should go wrong.

I’ve set this up in both my hatchback and my dad’s people carrier and it’s ideal for both.

I was really pleased the SD card came with it it as it meant I could use it straight out of the box.

Golden Review Award: 164 From Our UsersThis is a great dash cam. Not only does it capture all the action from the front, but once connected to the rear camera, you can view both front and rear views side by side on the dash cam screen. It’s also got a 32gb sd card included with all the usual accessories needed to to mount it. Great dash cam.

Very good quality dash cam, have been using all week. Installation instructions very easy to read. Very easy to set up, cam fits perfectly under my mirror so that it is not restricting my view when driving. The charging lead is long enough to enable you to place the dash cam wherever you wish on the windscreen. The rear camera is very easy to install, wires very easy to hide under exterior sills etc. I’m very surprised how good the picture quality is for low budget camera. Better than the previous cam I bought for a similar price. I would definitely recommend.

Golden Review Award: 148 From Our UsersExtremely well build dash cam for the front and rear views. The wide-angle lens is a really nice feature and gives a really good view off to the left and right of the car. Initially I didn’t think I really needed a dash cam, however after being in a few near misses it offers the piece of mind and allows me to supply video to insurers in the event of any claim.

I was surprised how well this dash cam reads the number plates, both night and day! The night view is much clearer than originally expected.

The rear view camera (can be mounted on the number plate or the rear window) is a great additional feature, and even turns into a reversing cam when needed!

For the price paid I really wasn’t expecting a camera as high quality as this. The box it comes in contains all the cables and connectors needed, the only additional item you’ll need to purchase is an SD card to store the video (I already had one of these).

    All in all, highly recommend!

I am not going to lie i didn’t fit this my husband did 🙂 however i showed him the YouTube video of how to set it up and he managed no problem and worked first time! He is no DIY man but this seemed easy.

The screen quality is really good and the reverse camera is a god send…. i can now reverse into a parking space ha ha. Next time I renew my car insurance i will let them knowni have a dash cam and it will be cheaper insurance so win win!

Tip: remember to buy a memory card because it doesn’t come with one.
