I have bought two of these lamps. One is used in a dimly lit art room and the other next to the couch for knitting at night. It's a fabulous lamp with four levels of brightness and the option to use one or both globes at once which provides an even greater array of the level of light. I would definitely recommend this lamp to anyone who loves their craft but needs to see it more clearly.

Adjustable and brigh
I haven’t had any of the problems other reviewers have mentioned: the light was easy to assemble and allows me to paint on gloomy days. I have the light directly above my easel and can accurately mix colours on my palette.

I bought this lamp to use in my beauty salon when doing lash & Brow treatments. I liked the sleek design and colour.
Having the option to move each lamp independently is amazing and well thought of. Having 4 brightness levels is great, I can have one light on the lowest and the other on the highest so I can see what I am doing, that way I don’t dazzle my clients.
The downside is the stand and cable. The stand is heavy but too small for the height of the light in my opinion and can wobble if slightly knocked.
The cable would have been better if it was longer, and a complete piece of wire instead of having a connector. It comes out very easily when I have to reposition it due to the short length.

Useful and discreet ligh
I have been using this light for about a week for my crochet work. I bought it to replace my halogen floor lamp which is expensive to run – it added an extra 20 to my monthly electricity bill! As you can see from the photo I have the light behind the sofa – it is discreet against my white painted wall. I have the light quite close above me in order to get the right amount of light. As it is LED there is no heat from the lamps to make me hot, which is a bonus. I like the adjustability/flexibility of the light too. The only thing I think could be improved upon would be to change the lead from black to white to match the lamp. For me this isn’t a problem as it’s behind the sofa, but if it wasn’t this would annoy me!

Bought this as I needed a daylight lamp that would sit behind my little desk to free up space. This fits the bill beautifully. The light is exactly what I wanted in order to reproduce colours correctly while I’m working. Being able to have so much flexibility over the light position and brightness an added bonus. It is very easily to adjust, both in terms of position and brightness, and with both bulb arms working independently I have about as much control as I could ever hope to have. I’m not sure how it would stand up to the rigours of home life if it was free-standing somewhere as it’s not the sturdiest, so that would be worth bearing in mind. The bottom is weighted, and it’s not as though the bulbs (no matter what position you have them in) will tilt it over, but it would be very easy to knock over.

I do crafts and so I need a light that I can direct to where its needed and it needs to be very bright.
After looking at numerous lights and reading reviews this is the one I settled with.
There are lights out there that are cheaper but they had mixed reviews and that put me off.
This arrived in perfect condition and needs to be put together, which involves screwing poles together, which needs no tools and is easy enough to do.
The two lights each have their own individual “touch” switch that gives you a choice of how bright you need your light to be.
The lights can be moved to where they are needed, ideal as a craft light or a reading light.
I love it and hope it will stand the test of time.

This is my third purchase of this product. I am a seamstress and sometimes have to sew Black cotton at night.
It is a very bright Daylight, true to its name, and you have 4 adjustable levels so it doesn’t hurt you’re eyes.The two movable arms are fantastic, to let you get the light where you need it. You can have both lights on together, or just have one on. I have two of these over an armchair for hand work and unpicking seams, and am extremely happy. The other I have over my industrial machine and its light helps me to see Black cotton at night. I highly recommend this product.

Bought this light for my pastel painting studio. It’s perfect if you work on smaller scale pieces. Very good light and so easy to adjust to get rid of shadows and eliminate any glare. What a difference being able to see your colours properly makes! Love it.

Because this light is slender and has an elegant slim design, you would need to be particularly careful how you use it. I’m an artist and it’s used at the back and slightly to the side of my easel. There are four settings and the ‘touch switches’ are operated at the end of the tubes. Both tubes are independent. So you don’t need to have both tubes on at the same time. The base is heavy, but it needs to be?
The tubes are really super and mimic daylight really well. I just love the modern design of this lamp and the way you can position the tubes…….someone has really thought it out nicely!
As long as you leave it alone when using it, and don’t let kids mess with it! and you screw up the sections really tight so there are no loose joints, you should be OK. It’s not the kind of lamp that would take rough treatment or too many bad knocks.
You can’t change the led’s because they’re integral, but should last for years.
I think this lamp is a lovely design, if a little on the delicate side! However, it’s very good at what it does – gives a daylight effect, and I personally think it’s a first class ‘cool’ piece of kit. JUST BE CAREFUL WITH IT!

Since buying there have been disappointments from other people who have bought this lamp….I cannot understand for the life of me how the thread can be lost on the bottom section……if you cross thread the thread – that’s your fault, not the manufacturer? If you overload it’s electrical capacity it will naturally melt the innerds! If you leave it on for hours at a time it’s going to get warm.
Use your head folks.
p.s. Make VERY sure you tighten each section properly. Wrap a piece of leather ( or similar) around each section and using pliers gently apply pressure until the joints are nice and tight. Better still get a handyman to do it for you if you don’t have tools. It is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL YOU TIGHTEN THE SECTIONS PROPERLY AND SECURELY.

This was bought to allow our daughter to crochet while we watch TV, with the room lights down. It works brilliantly (pun intended!). The daylight quality of the light is great. With the touch control it’s easy to choose from 4 brightness levels, for each light arm. At the full setting with both arms on it is extremely bright. The lamp base is suitably heavy and the lamp is very stable, regardless of how you angle the lamp arms. Incidentally, it is very easy to move and angle the lamp arms. If you are looking for a lamp to work or read by I can thoroughly recommend this one.

This product is exactly what I needed. The brightness has 4 settings and even in daylight makes such a massive difference. It has a long wire which makes it easy to move around as and when needed. I purchased this to apply eyelash extensions and it works perfectly for this cause. I love it and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. A great buy.

I did nails, lashes and microblading. Didn’t want to shell out on a glamcor and saw this. Its a really good light. 4 brightness settings ive not needed the brightest setting yet.
I like to update reviews after a period of use. This review is based on my initial test since the light will be used by my crafts-crazy better half!
Anybody that does crafts will know that you need very good lighting (operating theatre lights aren’t for show, after all!) because fine detail only becomes clear when you have a lot of light on the work area. Bright light is also essential for determining colours properly, as anybody that does cross stitch or other “thread-based projects” will quickly tell you. We already have a couple of reading lights in strategic parts of the house but wanted something a little more portable but steady, and more daylight-like full-spectrum light which is where this comes in.
It is still a floor lamp, with the size and the base weight that entails, but the base isn’t too heavy to move because the light itself is light and hard to topple. I decided to buy the version with forked lighting arms so as to minimise the problems of her ladyship working in her own shadow.
Assembly is required, but the light is already practically completed and the assembly is only to screw together several sections of the upright and the bendy lighting element at the end, and screw those into the base. The cabling already runs through all of these parts, so it is pretty obvious how it is intended to be put together. When it is all together it’s actually rather unobtrusive (a thin white pole, in fact) and isn’t exactly unattractive to look at anyway. The lighting arms at the end can be splayed to various degrees or brought together – and these contain the LED elements that put out all the light.
The lighting takes a moment to figure out. There are what look like on/off switches on the end of each splayed lighting arm (the universal power symbol of circle and line that looks like a stick in the top of a flowerpot) but these don’t seem to be switches because there’s no click, you just touch the lighting arm in that area and the light comes on.
If the light seems too dim, you simply touch the lighting arm to get another stage of brightness, and you can cycle through the brightness levels back to the OFF setting, what’s more, you control the light level from each arm individually.
The lights also seem to cover a decent work area, and because the top of the lamp is a gooseneck arm that holds the lighting elements, it can be manoeuvered around and directed fairly well, and if intensity is needed it can probably be moved a little closer to the work area, a tabletop for instance, to get a few more lumens on the workpiece.
So, is this “daylight”? Well, it’s a substitute. I tend to see daylight as being a bit more blue than the purer white that seems to come from these LEDs, but there’s no question that they are much better for colour and detail work than most lights in our homes.
If her ladyship flags any shortcomings with this light I will certainly update this review because that’s what I do, but my feeling is that this will fix the problems involved in detail work and with colour-matching of threads and fabrics.

My lamp has arrived and it seems really great. Love the dimmer adjustment function and the way you can spread the light with the 2 lengths of bulbs. I have bought this lamp to do Cosmetic Tattooing however, I am concerned that there is a caution about looking directly at the LED’s. In one of the pictures for advertising it shows a beautician working on someone’s eye lashes so I assumed it was ok to have this lamp over people’s faces. Now I am not sure. I would love some feedback!
Super bright, super light and easy to angle
I bought the Duo because I thought the single lamp may not be bright enough for my needs. I’m happy to say that I think it would have been! However I use the second bar as a kind of shade to prevent the beam of light shooting straight into my hubby’s eyes. That is the only minor issue with this lamp as opposed to a lamp with a ‘shade’. I’m not going to complain about it though coz I love it!!
