Just what i was looking for. Excellent value, looks good and does the job fabulously.
I find this toaster to be very good .
It does seem to be well made.
I bought this to replace an older model I had and it has not disappointed. Previously had my older version for 6yrs and hopefully this will last just as long. It looks stylish in this colour and the various settings toast perfectly.

Toaster looks expensive and trendy and very functional. One small criticism is I wish the power lead was longer but minor really. Looks great in my kitchen.

Bought a Morphy Richards Toaster two years ago.Didn’t last long,meaning it toasted unevenly but the De’Longhi Toaster is superb.It also goes with our De’Longhi Coffee maker.Top Marks.
Great toaster, looks good in the kitchen. We have the kettle too and it is a great set. Toaster is quite large and takes a fair amount of room but we got the four slices version so it was expected.

It looks lovely, and toasts evenly. My only negative comments are that the release bar should raise the toast a bit higher to avoid smaller slices being inaccessible, and more importantly the electric cable should be longer.

If it’s all of the above and if you are looking at buying a kettle as well, then you’re in luck with this Delonghi toaster, as you can get a matching kettle as well. It has a classic look, complete with chrome accents and retro dials, that will most likely sit well in any kind of kitchen. The front of the machine, there is the dual toast levers, the dual browning controls and the other buttons reside. Overall it’s a styling that won’t be to everyone’s taste but I love it and it goes really well in our kitchen.
If you like a toaster that gives you a little more in the way of toasting options, then you’ll be just as pleased with the Delonghi. There are only so many functions you can cram into a device designed purely to turn bread into slightly burned bread, but the Delonghi has pretty much all those you’ll find on any other up-market toaster. A `bagel’ setting toasts one side of the bagel only, while the `reheat’ function warms up toast that has gone cold. Lastly, the `defrost’ setting defrosts frozen bread in preparation for it to be toasted. These functions are accessed via two sets of buttons on the machine’s front.
The toast levers each have a raising facility that pushes the toast up out of the top to assist in grabbing things like crumpets and really small slices of bread, although they don’t actually raise it as far as I think they should and you might still have to jab your fingers in to grab toasted items. The browning controls are two knobs with dials above them, showing the browning level on a scale of 1 to 6 – turn one of the knobs and the needle in the dial above it turns accordingly.
If you’re after a toaster that simply toasts well, then you may be pleasantly surprised (as I was) at how well the Delonghi does. Thick white bread at browning level 4 comes out extremely evenly toasted – better, in fact, than pretty much any other toaster I’ve used. The slot farthest to the right seems to be hotter than the others for some reason, and one side of the toast in all slots tends to be ever so slightly more well-done than the other, but the difference really is minimal. To toast a thick slice of white bread at level 4 takes around 3 and a half minutes and the only thing missing here is any kind of countdown timer, but precious few non-electronic toasters have that anyway.
Being a four-slice toaster, and seeing as there are only two raising levers and two browning dials, each one controls two of the four toasting slots. It means that someone wanting two pieces of toast, one done lightly and one done well, will have to turn on all four slots, but this is typical for a four-slice toaster. The Delonghi incorporates two crumb trays, accessible (slightly awkwardly) only from the back, and a pretty short electrical lead, so don’t expect to house this too far from an electrical socket without an extension cable.
I haven’t used the defrost function as I don’t freeze bread, but I do find the reheat setting quite helpful, especially when I’ve toasted two pieces of bread at once and the second has gone cold in the time it’s taken me to eat the first. All this setting really does is to toast the bread on a low heat to warm it through, but it is nice to have the guesswork taken out of the equation I suppose.
If I’m honest, I really was quite surprised at how well the Delonghi toasts bread, as I wasn’t expecting too much from it. The styling isn’t quite my thing but purely as a toaster rather than a decorative item I really can’t fault it. I think it fits the bill if you want a toaster that looks quite funky, has toasting options to suit almost everyone and toasts very well, but you don’t need the flashing lights and warning sounds found on modern electronic toasters.
Okay, so the price is high, but if you’re willing to pay extra to have a well designed/stylish toaster, this one is waiting to be a great addition to your kitchen!

This was a present. Arrived promptly and the receiver is very happy with it.
Having had a toaster for 20 years I could not believe the improvement. The only problem is I like Scottish loaves with black crusts and it does not toast the bottom, so it has to be rotated and fiddled around to brown the bottom. It will be perfect for modern white bread but I like my crusts. It toasts very nicely and is quite automatic, so no more burnt toast.

Originally I would like to buy cream one. but after I received, blue is best choice.

Bought as a gift, and loved by the recipient. Much more beige than cream in my opinion, but lovely.
This item looks good (cream colour) matches our kitchen) and having the double timer gives the option of doing toast and crumpets, muffins etc. at the same time. It feels well made compared to some of the cheaper items on the market. Well worth paying a bit extra for quality. I have seen some reviewers complaining about the crumb trays being accessed from the back but it only takes seconds to turn the toaster around to take them out.

OK so in the looks department this wins hands down, but what is it like as a toaster?
This toaster works beautifully and has plenty of ‘controllability’ too. Best of all you can toast on one side, such as bagels, which is a real boon. I like my toast well done and my wife prefers it less so, this toaster does this process really well. It toasts quickly and it toasts evenly, perfect.
Our kitchen looks great with our new toaster, kettle and coffee machine, all Delonghi Vintage Azure Blue, beautiful to look at and they all do their job perfectly.
Haven’t tried it yet but it looks fantastic on my worktop! Beautifully finished, classy looking kitchen equipment.

Coolest toaster IN THE WORLD!! Have had loads of comments about how good it looks, oh yes – it also makes toast with no problem!!
Looking for a toaster to match our kitchen (it matched both doors and worktop perfectly) but more importantly dealt with the larger and sometime homemade bread our previous toaster couldn’t- This ticked all the boxes and we where more impressed after using it over the first few weeks (our toast consumption has gone up !). Like other DeLonghi products (we have several) its quality was obvious when opening the box – easy to use, clear controls and solid construction make this a definite choice if you are after a decent toaster.
Does what it is supposed to do which is not difficult – toasting bread – whilst also looking beautiful on my kitchen top as well. Really glad I treated myself!
Even though I haven’t used this toaster yet, I’ve given it a five star rating just for the fact it matches my kitchen. I don’t actually eat much toast!!!

I most love the colour of this toaster. It is as really delicate clear blue. Dial for length of time toasting is very clear and great to have one for each side.
Looks good on worktop. Love the colour. Toasts bread and bagels perfectly. Love everything about it so far, although it does take up quite a bit of room on worktop.
Bought with matching kettle (see review). Very happy with this toaster. Not only does it look good but performs well. Toasts evenly and quickly. Has a range of settings which are simple to use. It is very large so need to have enough space.

Plenty of dials and browns the toast nicely. Not TOO big and fits nicely into a corner of the kitchen. Nothing bad to say about it, just wish the kettle that we bought was the same..
