Clear sound at last - music to the ears
After putting up with low hum on my hi fi system for 35 years, decided to ditch my Arcam Delta amp. What a contrast! Using the optical connections on my fairly new CD and Dab tuner, with only RCA cables to my original Yamaha tape recorder, it is a joy to hear no buzz, no hum at any volume level.
Before, I also had an iPad connected by RCA to mini-jack cabling to listen to Google Music – now I can do this via Bluetooth – the quality is pretty good, no noise, and a reliable connection too.
Great remote controller, love the way the volume knob physically moves with the remote setting!
My turntable is not connected, as I am using that to digitize my records at the moment, but I’m sure it would fit in well with little or no hum, too.
A great upgrade, bringing life back to my joy of music.
Fantastic amp

Good Sound
I bought this as a stop gap amplifier when my old Quad 405 stopped working. I am very impressed with the sound of the Denon and will keep it permanently in my system. I have two entirely different speaker systems with different impedances to each but this amp handles both with no problem. A good piece of kit.

Been after a decent amp for years, unfortunately everything is so expensive these days, but this was well worth the wait, I love it, now I can listen to my vynal properly, I’m in heaven again.
Excellent value for the money
Solid product with ample input options. Very detailed sound reproduction. Bluetooth streaming works very well. The remote is well laid out but there is an annoying clicking sound from the amplifier where ever the input mode is changed.

I purchased this amplifier to replace a Marantz PM4400 that I’ve had for around 17 years and on which the balance control is no longer working properly. This Denon is a noticeable improvement – and not just because the Marantz is old now. To my ears, it seems very powerful, with as crisp, clean sound as I’ve ever heard. Even my elderly LPs sound better than they used to – the analogue button really seems to make a difference. My only gripe is there aren’t as many connections as on the Marantz. Cannot connect both a mini disc and cassette deck – only one or the other. But I love it anyway. Sounds great to me.
I was debating between this and a Yamaha amp that was more than twice as powerful. I’m so glad I bought the Denon! It’s by far the best amplifier I’ve ever owned. Ignore the paper figures for the wattage, this amp rocks and sounds absolutely amazing. I paired mine with some Yamaha tower speakers and I’m literally blow away with the sound, I’m just grinning from ear to ear with this setup.

I received the Denon PMS-600NE amp just under a month ago from TVA Tech t/a Electricshop. It was very well packaged and has turned out to be a very loud amp. The sound is amazing. It just seems so much clearer and has more ‘presence’ and ‘oomph’ than my old Marantz amp. Just as well it has an integrated headphone socket. There are a plethora of connection sockets on the back of the amp to attach a record deck or CD player, minidisc player etc. What I would advise, is to keep the remote control away from other electrical equipment as interference can cause the amp to change channels/inputs. (Since moving it completely away from the television and other remote controls, that problem has been solved) Money well spent.

Great amp. Plenty of power. Sound is great. Remote does not control a bluetooth devic and its a bit too big. apart from this i can say anything wrong about it. Its Denon. Good quality product.
This Denon amplifier is pretty good for the money; rated at 45w per channel at 8ohms and 70w per channel for 4ohms it is very unusual to get a four ohms rated integrated amp at this price, it has a phono moving magnet input, preamplifier outputs, sub-woofer output, three RCA lines level input, tape loop, a DAC with one coaxial input and two optical inputs, bass and treble controls, Bluetooth and a 6.3mm headphone jack that sounds fantastic.
This Denon feels solid and is cool looking; I connected it to my vintage speakers, Pioneer 3 way CS5070 and I played Fly me to the moon by Diana Krall at a low volume and the sound was warm, smooth and relaxing, then I pumped up the volume halfway, and the sound became holographic, coherent and huge. For a change of pace, I played a few of my favorites songs from Dire Straits, Money for Nothing, Calling Elvis and Sultans of Swings once again when I open the taps I got a sound that was fully communicating and full of energy. The best thing is that I only paid 378 here at Amazon. It is nice to have an amplifier with these great features that sounds smooth and relaxing at low volumes, and when you crank it up, it gives you a live stage performance.
