This machine is a beast, it can tear down any bolt or nuts that I hooked on it. I used one battery of almost a month before recharging. Is just too good and I love it.

Pour la mcanique du 4×4 cette machine est un monstre les boulons ne rsiste pas . Seul bmol le poids et l’inverdeur qui et trop prt du doigt ,il faut faire attention au sens de rotation si on le bascule sans faire exprs du coup c’est dangereux car on risque de tout exploser vie le couple de la machine . Dewalte et au top sinon niveau puissance ,j’ai achet des batterie a cellule Sony 6ah a cot et le chargeur dcd118 rapide .j’ai aussi achet la dcf880 avec sa malette pour les petits travaux qui est top aussi avec 203nm j’adore sa maniabilit ,du coup j’ai de quoi tre tranquille av c les deux . C’est un budget mais moins cher que Makita si on prend les batterie a ct et surtout regarder bien les cellule dedans car des batterie a 6ah a 20 c’est pas de bonne cellule . . Celle ci reste relativement lourde mais les crous font pas les malins. . a transpire la qualit et puissance en 3eme vitesse surtout . Je regrette de pas avoir choisi avec la bote de transport en comparant les prix avec d’autre sites car plus en stock sur Amazon . Livraison au top comme d’habitude ..merci .
This is a great product. Really powerful and robust, better than I expected. With the half inch to hex adapter it can double up as an impact driver but be careful it packs a punch. It is a heavy machine but clearly will last while. Dewalt at its best!!!!

I had to remove some rusty bolts on my van which most likely had been on since it’s manufacture in 2007, it powered through the task with ease even without pre oiling.

Fired it up and whipped off a few of my van wheel nuts with no protests at all. Unlike my air rattle gun.
I’ve sold my compressor and air tools now. That was the main reason for air, and it is now redundant as this tool is so brutally powerful and cordless.

I bought this impact wrench from Amazon and I am very happy with the product. It feels very well made and is quite ‘heavy’ giving you that solid ‘feel’. The price was very competitive. The only thing they could do, is to provide a hard plastic case as standard rather than forcing you to buy it separately.

Potencia brutal, no hay ninguna pistola de impacto de batera que se le acerque. Para encontrar algo similar, tendras que irte a una neumtica, y de las buenas. Suelo encargarme del mantenimiento de mis coches, y estaba buscando una pistola de impacto potente para los tpicos tornillos que se resisten, y desde que tengo esta pistola, se han terminado los problemas (siempre que haya acceso, porque la pistola tampoco es pequea).
En cuanto el funcionamiento, tiene tres posiciones de apriete, y un botn pasante para seleccionar giro. Adems, tiene una pequea luz LED en la parte inferior de la empuadura, que te puede venir bien depende de donde ests trabajando.
Comentar que la pistola es mas grande de lo que parece, y bastante pesada, pero vamos que se maneja sin problemas, y tanto el tamao como el peso es justificable si tenemos en cuenta su potencia. Acostumbrado a pistolas mas pequeas, me sorprendi un poco cuando la recib, pero como comento, en cuanto comienzas a usarla, y ves de lo que es capaz, entiendes el porqu del peso y el tamao. Los acabados son muy buenos, y aunque solo hace unos meses que la tengo, tiene el aspecto de ser robusta, y de que dar servicio durante mucho mucho tiempo (viene con motor sin escobillas, lo que debera hacerle mas fiable)
En mi caso, la compr sin batera ni maletn, porque ya dispona de un par de bateras y cargador de un taladro de la misma marca (tambin muy recomendable). En cuanto al maletn, la verdad es que suelo tener los aparatos en una bolsa de herramientas, as que tampoco creo que lo hubiera usado.
En resumen, si estas buscando una pistola de impacto potente, dudo que encuentres algo mas potente que esta pistola de DeWALT (en aparatos a batera). Buena calidad constructiva y motor sin escobillas, esperemos que de servicio durante muchos aos. Muy recomendable.

What a brilliant impact wrench this is, made changing rear trailing arm bush with solid bolts a piece of cake. i tried with a breaker bar first just to see if i could move the bolts with no joy, used this bad boy no problem what so ever, it has a fair bit of weight to it but not really a problem. i got a non genuine dewalt battery from amazon for 27 and its fine. with a back off at 1625nm cant think that theres much it wont undo

After breaking not one but two tools on some VERY stuck bolts on a project car. I gave in and treated myself to an impact wrench after doing a lot of research. Oh how I wish I’d had this long ago: it took around 3 seconds to free those bolts with no fuss at all. Definitely my new favourite tool!!

Massive torque
Managed to get enough weight forward onto a damaged/slipping locking wheel nut to be able to use the impact, which a 24″ wrench simply couldn’t produce.

This really is as good as people say it is, an absolute animal. Before buying this though definitely consider the DCF894. Its got half the oompf as the 899 and will do most jobs. The 899 is quite big and not quite as versatile as the smaller but still powerful 894. If you are just using this for wheel nuts it’s a bit overkill
he comprado esta maquina porque manualmente no podria sacar los tornillos de la rueda del coche sin estropearlos. lo uso poco pero su gasto lo he amortizado en ahorro de taller. lo uso con dos baterias del taladro de 1,3ah, es poco por esta maquina pero lo suficiente para dismontar y montar las 4 ruedas del coche. he probado antes dos maquinas mas baratas con un aprete de 350nm, per no han sido suficientes y he tenido que devolverlas. esta es mas cara pero estoy tranquillo que no me quedo parado por culpa de un tornillo demasiado apretado.

Still find myself bringing the breaker bar to every job. First one sent out had a fault so I was very disappointed but Amazon sent a replacement no quibble fair play. Been in hard use for 6 months, so far taking it like a champ! Battery lasts plenty time with 5ah.

Creo que es la llave de impacto a batera ms potente que he probado. Al mismo nivel que las neumticas ms caras.
Hay mucha gente que discute sobre el par real que tiene esta llave; mi experiencia es que he podido aflojar tornillos con pares de apriete de ms de 200Nm sin el menor problema. Con la batera de 4 Amperios tienes autonoma ms que suficiente para trabajar en bastantes coches y con dos bateras tengo para trabajar todo el da: ruedas, cigeales, poleas, rotulas… por el momento ha podido con todo.
Como nico punto a mejorar dira que el selector de sentido de giro es algo “suave” de accionar lo que hace que si trabajas con guantes puedas cambiar el sentido de giro sin darte cuenta.

Brought for my son for christmas. When fitted with a 5ah battery this gun will undo almost anything. As an ex-mechanic used to using Snap-on gear I found the gun very heavy.

Just using it for removing wheel studs from cars, trailers and the odd tractor and it has yet to fail. Glad I went for the extra torque.

Sure, this ‘seems’ like a good tool at a good price – until you factor in the battery + charger. At over 100 (or 50 when they are on permanent sale) the price becomes ludicrous. I’ve a cheap, mains powered wheel gun that was a lot less than the battery alone – and it puts out A LOT more breakaway torque than this garbage

Trs efficace, les seul inconvnient, c’est le poids, 3,388Kg avec la batterie et une douille de 19, et sont encombrement, mais bon, faut savoir ce que l’on veut. Un autre inconvnient qui est courant sur ce type de machine, c’est que l’inverseur de sens tombe sur l’index quand on l’attrape et vu le poids de la bte, on inverse sans s’en rendre compte, d’autant plus quand on est couch sur le dos sous la voiture, c’est comme a que j’ai explos un boulon de 13. Le plac ailleurs aurait t plus judicieux. J’enlve une toile pour a.

Has the power to remove the most rusted nuts. Downside : the direction switch is too easy to switch and if you’re working in a confined space you can knock it and then instead of undoing a bolt, twist the head off. 🙁
Ducati Wheel Nut EASY
I bought this initially to remove the rear wheel nut on my 1198 Ducati. It was always a major fight to get the nut off the bike for the frequent rear tyre changes. Once we managed to twist the half inch drive end off of a long breaker bar with a scaffold tube on it trying to get the nut removed and that was at a tyre fitter’s!!1/2 inch drive air gun, big compressor not a chance just sat there making noise and feebly vibrating, so I bit the bullet ad bought this. Battery looks small, like “How can that little thing hold enough energy to shift this nasty great wheel nut?” haha easy , it’s quite loud in operation but, ripped the wheel nut off in 3 seconds no problem at all. Great bit of kit that no doubt will come in handy for many other uses over the years.

Arrived quickly and a fantastic impact gun, used all the time and never let me down yet.
i’m a car mechanic so having an impact gun is essential, this is my weapon of choice for undoing all wheel nuts and suspension joints. This wheel take off massive 30mm centre nuts off no problem and with ease.

As our cars have winter and summer tyres plus the requests from family “dad can you fit new discs/pads to my car” this little item seemed a good idea.
The first thing to note is that it is big and heavy so it gives some confidence that it may do the job and it does. A couple of wheels that had been fitted by a tyre dealer with the usual “I can get it even tighter” attitude needed a little help but to complain it failed when it needed a good pull on a metre long wrench to shift the nut is hardly fair. It has handled wheels properly fitted with no problem and makes changing wheels really quick and easy both removing and tightening the nuts. After tightening I have checked the nuts using the normal manufacturer supplied brace and the DeWalt seems to get about the right amount of torque.
I have seen comments that it is easy to catch the forward/reverse switch. The switch is in exactly the same place as it is on my DeWalt drill and impact driver so I see no reason why it should be a problem here and so far it hasn’t been.
I can’t comment on battery life as it is for DIY use and has plenty of power to remove and refit a set of tyres so extended use all day is not a requirement for me but as its only in use for a few seconds per tyre. I can’t imagine it is heavy on batteries so should last a lot longer than the time it takes to charge a spare.
The bottom line is that it does all I need and is a lot more powerful than the air wrench I bought a couple of years back.

The best impact driver I’ve ever used. It shrugged off a nut I couldn’t move with a 3/4″ breaker bar with a scaffold pole after jumping on it.
Just be careful it’s not in reverse or it will shear off whatever nut/bolt you are trying to undo.

Great be carful though tested on some m10 and took head off in seconds. Only needs few taps on a bolt then tighten to spec. Any longer you ARE guna snap them

Wow! Its a beast, it has a lot of power. I use on my van for every seized nut and bolt i need to undo, it undoes them like Hercules on steroids! If you need excess power, look no further.

Il prodotto si presenta bene, solido e ben costruito. Di potenza ce n’ in abbondanza, 950nm sono tantissimi, se considerate che i prodotti concorrenti top di gamma arrivano intorno ai 1.000 – 1.100, ma hanno un prezzo proibitivo per gli hobbisti.
Si vede molto anche in parecchie serie TV dedicate ai motori e vengono impiegati anche in situazioni difficili (bulloni di camion – pickup specie nello smontaggio telai e sospensioni).
L’ho comprato per la mia officina, dove per svitare i bulloni delle sospensioni devo usare delle leve molto lunghe, a volte anche leve di 50-70cm per togliere i bulloni delle ruote strette a morte da alcuni gommisti.
Per il momento l’ho usato per smontare ruote, bracci oscillanti e telaietto di un’Audi TT mk1 ed un paio di treni gomme di una Ford Fiesta.
La batteria (rigorosamente da 5.0 A) ancora al 100% ed i suddetti bulloni sono stati tolti con estrema facilit (ovviamente regolato alla massima potenza).
Raccomando una chiave dinamomentrica per il serraggio, l’avvitatore potete usarlo solo per l’accostamento in caso di perni filettati molto lunghi, ma per il serraggio va usata esclusivamente la dinamometrica. Se usate l’avvitatore per stringerli, rischiate di rovinare le filettature, in quanto davvero molto potente.
Ottimo prodotto, consigliato non solo per l’hobby ma anche per uso professionale.

Invaluable car maintenance tool, great for changing wheels and getting high and low torqued stubborn nuts off, 3 adjustment settings work well.
Think this is my 2nd post, but believe what they are saying about this tool, we are in concrete construction, and use tools like this for driving in thunderbolts 12-16mm up to .150 in depth absolutely no probs, beats my hilti, 110v and makita 110v which are match winners…..big problem is nobody wants to use the old school guys anymore and currently looking for a museum for my old gear…..oh yeah and two hands for the novice on a new battery …lol Enjoy

This is in a different league to other battery powered impact drivers. Fab for working on cars and make snap on stuff look like a toy!
Incredibly heavy and incredibly powerful. Overkill for a lot of modern fixings which simply aren’t strong enough. Maybe needs complementing with the less powerful version?
But for a tractor/agricultural machinery mechanic this saves a lot of grief. Being free from the air compressor and hose is worth few negatives!

Great piece of kit, really solid and well built as you would expect from DeWalt.
I have used other impact drivers before but this is in a league of its own, ok the others were a few years old but still the power in this and for the money you couldn’t go wrong
I have 2 impact wrenches. 1 i mainly use for scaffolding and for light work on cars and then i have this one which so far i haven’t found a nut or bolt it can’t undo.
I have used it to rebuild an engine without any strain. I have used it on rusted suspension, sub frames and rusted wheel nuts and nothing puts up much resistance i love this wrench.
Just to add that over the last year I have been using this on plant machinery, 360s and loaders, and so far has only failed on 2 bolts. We get spares from a breakers and even they now use one of these in preference to their usual huge 1 inch air wrench. I think that this sums up the power of this tool

... uses it thinking of buying on my self much better than snap on or Milwaukee guns at a fraction ...
Have one of these at work wips ubolts off wheel nuts half shaft bolts etc with ease its a company gun so everyone uses it thinking of buying on my self much better than snap on or Milwaukee guns at a fraction of the price I take it on breakdowns esp if I have to pull a wheel off an 8 wheel tipper would love my own gu

Powerfull and excellent machine, it can undo the wheel nuts with ease. The old and rusty suspension bolts and nuts are not a challenge for this machine. I am very happy with this impact.
heavy but excellent tool, not found a nut it can’t remove yet, however as another reviewer pointed out it is easy to knock the direction switch so be careful you check you do not tighten a bolt by accide
This tool made changing my winter wheels to my summer one so easy. I wish I’d bought one years ago.
