Stopped working after light use.
Was pleased with the saw initially but stopped working after light use. Currently talking to Amazon to arrange a replacement.

Without doubt the best DeWalt tool I have, really well made and very accurate, last for loads of curs with a 6ah battery, much better than dragging an extension lead around site.
Exactly what I'd expect from Dewal
I’ve never owned a circular saw and as I’ve invested into Dewalt batteries, this seemed a natural step into the arena. I was not disappointed. It’s brilliant. The depth of cut is great and the accuracy is superb.
For an amateur DIYer like myself, this is exactly what I wanted and as it’s a Dewalt, the quality is always there.
Brilliant saw with loads of powe
I cant get over how good this saw is. Used when roofing a house and was able to cut valley rafters with a 30 degree angle. It wont replace the 110v power saw for cutting rafters but it can cut anything
First the good bits: Parts fit and sliding components are well made with no undue slop. The tool is powerful and the blade brake stops it in a second when you release the trigger. The cut with the supplied new 24tooth blade was clean without tearout. The build is reassuringly substantial so it is no lightweight.

The bad: This is a PROFESSIONAL tool and I was disappointed to find the inside face of the blade is about 2mm outboard of the scribed line on the base plate. A straight edge along the (stationary) blade confirmed thisfor a pro-tool from a premier company like DeWalt it is frankly unforgivable. If it were not for this I’d have happily given five stars.

To fix this bad aspect of the build, I recommend covering the erroneous markings by gluing a plate of thin plastic over them and scribing your own guide line.
Easier to use on the right side apposed to the lef
Great product as usual for dewalt but found it difficult to use on the left side of wood work > for some reason .
Quality tool.
This dewalt 18v circular saw is a great addition to any DIY,ers tool set, really powerful and really sturdy, it’s dewalt and it’s quality.
I highly recommend this product.

All good with delivery, packaging and product. Have used for intended jobs and all worked well. Nice not to have a trailing wire ! Only concern is availability of replacement and fine tooth saw blades which don’t look to be very abundant.
Great Brand New Saw
Has more weight to it than my old corded cheap Circular saw cuts wood with easy and is alot easier to keep on line.
Others report used or demo, items but not evidence of that with mine everything was as I’d expect a new saw to be would buy from again.

Good solid saw that cuts effortlessly.
Solid well made saw, compact motor, runs for ages on a 5ah battery.
Would definitely recommend this to anyone, best circular saw I’ve owned.

Loving dewal
New, sealed, and comes with Guide and hoover attachment which I haven’t screwed onto it yet, seems powerful enough, but I’ll update when I’ve cut a few scaffolding boards. One thing that surprised me that they never did, was add an Allen key as the first thing I did when putting the blade on was check it being square, it was off which was is understandable when the blade wasn’t already fitted but they could have included the Allen key on it, they included the wrench to attach the blade which is tucked away on it but you’ll be checking if it’s square a lot more than removing the blade. I have to attach an Allen key to it somehow now so it’s always there ready to check it’s square between jobs.

I’m 100% happy with the item and 100% disgusted with the packaging. The saw is working fantastically so far everything I need in a battery powered saw.
The company shipping the item have removed it from the box and wrapped is a single bubble wrap and then plastic and tape… rely great for the environment…. NOT! The loose blad also damaged the handle and cut into the instruction book. Also this would be a potential danger to the delivery folks….. All in all Great product awful company to purchase from. Never again!

Annoyingly, the tiny micro adjustment screw for the blade was completely rounded, as a result I’m unable to set the blade to an accurate 90 degrees from the foot until I get round to taking out the screw and replacing it. The quality of the saw from Dewalt gets the high score from me, but the listing here is unfair.

For a DIY-er a great bit of kit. Brake is fantastic for safety and blade stops if a kickback is detected/likely. If you’re not using these every day then spend a bit more on this model, for the sake of your fingers.
Cuts great too. I’m getting about 40cuts from a 5ah battery. Nice big blade and plenty power.

Had this saw for about a year now and use it 5 days a week fitting kitchens. Does everything I ask of it and has never skipped a beat. As others have said the guide on the baseplate doesn’t quite line up with the blade but I don’t find this an issue as I watch the blade as I cut. Plenty of power will even rip down solid core fire doors if your stuck without a power supply. 5ah battery’s are a must for it and for blades I either use dewalts 40 tooth or the Freud 40 tooth both work great in it.

Excellent seller, this is my second battery saw by Dewalt in about 15 years, first one was excellent but this one is superb in being lightweight and easy to handle, hope this lasts for the next ten years.

Really good saw, compared to the brushed version it feels solid, having a light is a handy feature.

Ja da gibt es nichts zu beklagen. Mit dem extra dnnen sgeblatt gehen die Schnitte auch mit der akku Leistung sehr gut und sauber. Schnitttiefe ist mit glaube ich 65mm sehr zufriedenstellend und war fr mich ein kaufkriterium da viele Akku Maschinen nur kleine Schnitttiefen haben. Ich bin bis jetzt zufriede
Great cordless saw from Dewal
Great cordless circular saw. I’ve only used this a couple of times but it’s powerful and cuts well. I got it to replace a Hitachi cordless saw. This Dewalt is far better. On my second cut I managed saw through my Workmate table as well without knowing.
