Its the 2nd kettle ive had in 10 years, we bought the same one but changed the colour from grey to cream, that’s the reason we changed, but as a kettle, the pourer in spot on, lots of kettles have terrible pourers, end up with water around cup & on your bench, not with this kettle you won’t! defo recommend to anyone
I bought the exact same model 8 years ago and have loved using it every day. The kettle is used extensively in a large household so gets alot of use. I have never had a kettle last 8 years so I got another one! The design is beautiful and it lasts very well.
We bought this kettle in Jan17 and it lasted until Oct 20 which is really very good considering the use. The element finally went and they are not replaceable in the Architect model. However, still a great kettle and have just bought an identical replacement.
Robust build, easy cable control that allows you to wind in or out the cable, looks amazing and complements our silver metal toaster. Very happy with the colour, trim and activation light.
This is a piece of art I dunno wether to mount it on my wall or make a cup of coffee!I’m not even gonna do a review with this one I’ll say only this when you take it out the box you’ll just know.
Great looking, but drips a bit which is a pain because I love it…
Only 18 months old and the switch stopped working. Dualit say this model is not repairable so a real waste of money. I really would have expected a more resilient appliance for the price!
Design is aesthetic and build quality is good. Pouring spout was not so drip free as it claimed however and pouring takes a bit of getting used to but once acquainted is better than a typical spout or kettle.
Looks good works well, and is well made it is a bit noise not a problem.

It’s definitely not quiet boil so if you’re looking for that this is not for you. It’s not too noisy either, somewhere in the middle I’d say in my experience.

Seems pretty good quality, looks the part and boils fast, but is very noisy! Despite being a highly polished chrome finish is stays clean and resists finger prints, a quick wipe with a damp cloth brings it back like new.
It’s not quiet ! But it’s fast ….

Solid, well made, nice pour action, good lid opening, good size/proportions, all in all a good kettle. Some reviews suggested it was noisy, didn’t put me off the product and still doesn’t to some degree, but I must admit, it is a noisy boil! It’s only attribute I’d want to change.

Love this kettle. Also bought my Mom and Dad one. We have the 2 slice matching toaster.I have had cheaper priced kettles in the past, but the Dualit has a much better build quality. It is difficult to gauge the amount of water you need when filling.

Trying this after buying cheaper kettles. Had it about 6 months wearing well except the lid doesn’t open as well as it did when new. Need more time before I could strongly recommend
Purchased as a replaced Architect kettle. Still love the look, its still a little noisy but does boil faster than our older version. Disappointingly, the older model came with the interchangeable plates and the description implies interchangeable plates are included however are not. These currently cost 18.50 incl delivery and in my opinion if you are spending over 70 on a kettle should be included.

Looks fantastic and works well. Easy to refill and great pour. Only issue is that because the spout is on the side, the steam flows out towards our splashbacks. Only a very minor issue though!

Having had Dualit before then going with the cheaper options for last few years, I can honestly say ‘don’t waste your money on anything but Dualit’. Although the initial cost is a little high, it is extremely well made, their customer service is second to none, you can change the colour as the mood suits with additional wrap arounds.
Will never buy anything but DUALIT from now on.

It’s solid and made of metal which makes you feel better about spending this sort of money, but essentially it boils water no better than others. My previous kettle was a Bosch and was cheaper but I preferred. Hopefully it will last forever.
My only minor gripe is that the fill level gauge is behind the handle which can make it a bit awkward to see.

Bought this as I have a dualit toaster. It is brilliant. I was initially dubious about the spout and how it would pour, but it is great. Lovely. It’s not the quietest in the world, but that does not bother me. Also bought the aqua blue colour pack, which was very easy to fit, and it looks very smart.

After having plastic kettles that drip and pour every where- we tried a glass kettle- which exploded when I tried to clean the inside, we turned to this kettle. It’s super, doesn’t leak, has a main body which I’d metal so won’t explode on me…… Thanks
Very impressed with my new kettle and got the best price from Amazon also saved 24 on the toaster for some reason the brushed steel is approx 20 more expensive than other colours but again I saved 24 on Amazon, its priced at 119 from John Lewis. Any the kettle works perfectly noise levels low and no dripping from spout co-ordinates great with toaster my new breadbin and tea, coffee jars looks great with black granite work tops!
Solid, looks great, boils water for my tea. I use twinnings in a China cup. Glows blue when it’s on matching my dualit toaster. Really well made in the UK. it’s probably too good looking for the rest of my kitchen to be honest.

For many years I have coveted a Dualit kettle. It is truly an object of beauty. You can even buy different coloured jackets for it and play dress up! This is a great kitchen appliance, quiet to boil and actually pours quite nicely despite the odd looking spout. I know it is just a kettle but I can’t help having a bit of a crush on it…..
Bought this to replace previous Dualit kettle which had sadly ended its life. Extremely pleased with it and in perfect condition in spite of being a Warehouse Deal which saved me ten pounds. It’s very sylish and is the first kettle I’ve ever had that really doesn’t drip at all. I am resisting the urge to buy the matching toaster as my exisiting Dualit one works perfectly well, its only fault is that it is cream and doesn’t match, but I can live with that.
Nice looking kettle. Lid fill only which is good as you don’t get that splash back that you get when you miss the spout! Lovely shiny chrome finish which is very easily maintained.
Be careful – the body can get very hot so some caution needs to be exercised if you are used to a cool touch kettle.
Update- 2 years later the lid release catch has become a bit stubborn. It releases eventually but it is a bit disappointing.
Love my new Dualit Kettle. I ordered this yesterday evening and it was delivered to me in time for breakfast! (thank you Amazon) This kettle has a very fast boiling time and looks very stylish in my kitchen. I am a big fan of Dualit products and would highly recommend this kettle.

Ok having had this for over a year I’ve decided to tell you what it’s like now, actually it’s brilliant. Without a doubt its the best kettle I’ve ever used.
Its quick to boil, it doesn’t drip when your pour but it does get VERY HOT on the sides, I’ve burned myself, so I’d definitely recommend keeping it away from small hands.
Overall score would be Wicked out of 5.
beautiful stainless steel kettle. lighter than my old kettle,non drip and boils fast. is easy to clean with blue back-light that lights up the water gauge when you turn on the kettle and looks lovely. mirrored chrome with a lovely design and is the nicest thing in my kitchen right now.
When sending electrical goods to Europe it would be a good idea to give the buyer an option of having a European plug and NOT a British one.
This avoids some ugly wiring work!!
Nicest sturdy kettle – easy to clean and fill. Pours well and the mirror steel finish – including the base – polishes up well and doesn’t show water marks. The filter inside is strong too and not like those flimsy bits of plastic that break the first time you clean them. All in all I’m pleased with this kettle. Hope it lasts as long as my Dualit toaster which I must have had for about 20 years and it’s still going strong.
I bought this Kettle at the same time as the Toaster, I also like the style of this item and how it glows a lovely blue when switched on, but most importantly, it boils quicker than my old kettle, mind you I had been using it for nearly 20 years, If this one lasts as long I will be really happy (LOL) yet again another great buy.
