This is an amazing kettle. I’ve heard other’s complain it’s too noisy but I honestly don’t see this as an issue myself and my hearing is very good. I bought the first one of these six years ago after getting fed up with kettles constantly breaking down. After 6 years and 4 months of COVID-19 shut down with the resultant extra use in supplying me with my cuppa every half hour of every day, my first kettle has finally given up (the on/off switch won’t always lock on) so of course I bought this identical model.

Good sturdy kettle
Very smart looking kettle, my only criticism is that the silver bit gets very dirty with marks so constantly cleaning it. You can change the bottom trim, we bought the red one but haven’t used it yet as its quite bright and the cream one looked better.

This is a beautiful looking kettle. Teamed it with the matching toaster in grey and they look really great. Good spout, no drips.
It’s definitely not quiet boil so if you’re looking for that this is not for you. It’s not too noisy either, somewhere in the middle I’d say in my experience.

Lovely design for a kettle
THis is the second of these kettles we have had..,,the first lasted years! I love the fact that you just press a button and the lid pops up…many kettles have a fully removable lid which sometimes stick and are difficult to open.
This cleans with a quick wipe of a damp cloth, and is easy on the eye.
The only downside is that it is really quite noisy (although boils quite quickly)

Seems pretty good quality, looks the part and boils fast, but is very noisy! Despite being a highly polished chrome finish is stays clean and resists finger prints, a quick wipe with a damp cloth brings it back like new.

Lovely looking kettle which does the job well
We deliberated for ages over which kettle to buy for our new kitchen, getting tangled up in Which reviews and obsessing over boil times and accessibility of water gauges. We gave up in the end and settled on this one simply because it looked nice, and I’m glad we did. Really smart looking kettle, sturdy and well made. It boils quickly and has some clever function whereby the water doesn’t come gushing out when you tip it up – ideal for someone accident prone like me. Would definitely recommend.

Very well made – looks fantastic and does the job.
Here are the two things I couldn’t really find a detailed review of so I’ve put them here and attached a video of the first:
1) The spout – It’s a funny shape compared to most – and I was worried that it would pour water in a strange way and I wouldn’t like it. Well, it does pour differently, but its very nice. It’s a more controlled pour with a slightly smaller flow. You have to tip the kettle maybe 10 degrees more than a normal spout kettle, but you get used to it in just a few goes. After that, you will appreciate the way the flow stops instantly when you straighten the kettle.
2) The base is wobbly. Some people have written that they don’t like the base as its not as secure – and I agree with this initially. Yes, the kettle does “wobble” on the base – if you wobble it about! When it’s boiling with a max level of water in it, the kettle does a small “jiggle” right at the max boil rate – but NEVER enough to worry about or to look bad. However, this slightly lose base does make it easier to get the kettle on the charging port in the middle when it’s full of water.
Other points:
It’s not too heavy – even with loads of water.
It makes about as much noise as any other jug kettle I’ve ever had.
It’s expensive, but it looks and feels expensive – which is kind of the point if you are buying something that is not just an appliance, but something that makes your kitchen look and feel nice (it’s an important room after all!)
We use a kettle several times a day, and we are pleased with this purchase – time will tell if it lasts.

I love the design of this kettle. It’s sleek and a little bit flashy rather than the usual kettle style. I love the way it pours too- no spillages. It is fast to book tho a little noisier than my last kettle. Rated highly by Which?

looks good but definitely a few issues where design is over functionality.
First off I chose the polished chrome one first but it was a magnet for fingerprints so I returned it. The decider was when I took it out of the box to show my girlfriend who came in from the shower and the steam from her hair just steamed up the sides of the polished chrome model.
The brushed version still looks good but I agree with previous reviewers in that the fill window is worse than useless until the kettle is turned on and it’s lit by a blue light. You have to get used to judging the weight by lifting the kettle or opening the lid to check the water level.
There is a bit of a trick with the spout. It seems to have a little dribble when you have finished pouring where it drops about a teaspoon of water.
It does look as if it’s going to scale quite easily. We have hard water in this area and after several weeks the bottom of the inside of the kettle is already scaling.
But, it boils quickly and it does look good.
It’s noisy

Solid, well made, nice pour action, good lid opening, good size/proportions, all in all a good kettle. Some reviews suggested it was noisy, didn’t put me off the product and still doesn’t to some degree, but I must admit, it is a noisy boil! It’s only attribute I’d want to change.

Love this kettle. Also bought my Mom and Dad one. We have the 2 slice matching toaster.I have had cheaper priced kettles in the past, but the Dualit has a much better build quality. Definitely worth the extra money. If you’re on the fence about paying a bit more for a kettle, i’d suggest you by it. I dont regret it.

Fantastic kettle. Never spent this much on a kettle in my life, but after buying several cheapo ones and having to return them, we decided to try this one. Delighted with it, it’s a thing of beauty. Don’t know why some reviews said it’s noisy…it’s just as quiet as any other kettle. The pour is so nice! It just feels like luxury and you can tell it’s well made. We have had a dualit toaster for over 10 years and it looks as good as new. This is a great buy! 🙂

Giving it a try
Trying this after buying cheaper kettles. Had it about 6 months wearing well except the lid doesn’t open as well as it did when new. Need more time before I could strongly recommend
Still love the look
Purchased as a replaced Architect kettle. Still love the look, its still a little noisy but does boil faster than our older version. Disappointingly, the older model came with the interchangeable plates and the description implies interchangeable plates are included however are not. These currently cost 18.50 incl delivery and in my opinion if you are spending over 70 on a kettle should be included.

What can I say ?? This thing is amazing, you put cold water in it, flick a switch and in less than 2 mins you have boiling water for a cuppa ! Simple as that !!

SUPER PRODUCT
Having had Dualit before then going with the cheaper options for last few years, I can honestly say ‘don’t waste your money on anything but Dualit’. Although the initial cost is a little high, it is extremely well made, their customer service is second to none, you can change the colour as the mood suits with additional wrap arounds.
Will never buy anything but DUALIT from now on.

It’s solid and made of metal which makes you feel better about spending this sort of money, but essentially it boils water no better than others. My previous kettle was a Bosch and was cheaper but I preferred. Hopefully it will last forever.
Bought as a Christmas present to replace a very leaky cheap kettle. Boils water quickly and looks nice. The spout delivers an even and easily controlled stream, so it doesn’t splash or run.
My only minor gripe is that the fill level gauge is behind the handle which can make it a bit awkward to see.

Great kettle
Bought this as I have a dualit toaster. It is brilliant. I was initially dubious about the spout and how it would pour, but it is great. Lovely. It’s not the quietest in the world, but that does not bother me. Also bought the aqua blue colour pack, which was very easy to fit, and it looks very smart.

Replacement for my former kettle of the same model
My last one lasted a good number of years (and we use the kettle a lot), so replaced it when it stopped working with the same model just brushed steel version this time and it is a good kettle

Having read all the reviews both good and bad I took a chance and bought this kettle. I am delighted with it. It is very good quality and mine does not drip. I do not find it noisy. My previous kettle was a Sage which only lasted 14 months or so and I think the Dualit is a far nicer design.

Very impressed with my new kettle and got the best price from Amazon also saved 24 on the toaster for some reason the brushed steel is approx 20 more expensive than other colours but again I saved 24 on Amazon, its priced at 119 from John Lewis. Any the kettle works perfectly noise levels low and no dripping from spout co-ordinates great with toaster my new breadbin and tea, coffee jars looks great with black granite work tops!

Solid, looks great, boils water for my tea. I use twinnings in a China cup. Glows blue when it’s on matching my dualit toaster. Really well made in the UK. it’s probably too good looking for the rest of my kitchen to be honest.

For many years I have coveted a Dualit kettle. It is truly an object of beauty. You can even buy different coloured jackets for it and play dress up! This is a great kitchen appliance, quiet to boil and actually pours quite nicely despite the odd looking spout. I know it is just a kettle but I can’t help having a bit of a crush on it…..
Nice looking kettle that’s easy to use. I like how it pours as its very precise and neat, unlike some other kettles. I also like how you can get different colour panels for the sides if you feel like jazzing it up a bit! The only negative thing i’ve found is that it gets very hot to touch once boiled. And I know how stupid that sounds (duh a kettle gets hot!) but some kettles are better insulated so you won’t burn yourself if you accidentally touch the side. This one however isn’t and gets very very hot as I found when I went to see if my other half had boiled it or not the other day! Fingers under the cold tap for stupid me 🙁 Just a heads up!

my kettle arrived today, and i was really amazed how better it looked in the flesh so to speak, love the spout as the water pours out away from the kettle no dripping down the sides, it was well worth the money i think and the shiny chrome look is just very smart and its brightened my kitchen up wonderfully, will buy the toaster to match now, great kettle well worth the money!!

Bought this to replace previous Dualit kettle which had sadly ended its life. Extremely pleased with it and in perfect condition in spite of being a Warehouse Deal which saved me ten pounds. It’s very sylish and is the first kettle I’ve ever had that really doesn’t drip at all. I am resisting the urge to buy the matching toaster as my exisiting Dualit one works perfectly well, its only fault is that it is cream and doesn’t match, but I can live with that.

Nice looking kettle. Lid fill only which is good as you don’t get that splash back that you get when you miss the spout! Lovely shiny chrome finish which is very easily maintained.
Be careful – the body can get very hot so some caution needs to be exercised if you are used to a cool touch kettle.
Update- 2 years later the lid release catch has become a bit stubborn. It releases eventually but it is a bit disappointing.

Love my new Dualit Kettle. I ordered this yesterday evening and it was delivered to me in time for breakfast! (thank you Amazon) This kettle has a very fast boiling time and looks very stylish in my kitchen. I am a big fan of Dualit products and would highly recommend this kettle.
I love this kettle – it doesn’t look like any other one on the market, very sturdy & great quality. it is a bit noisy when boiling, but that’s a minor thing as it looks so gorgeous on the worktop! I bought the ruby red panel set as well, it’s really lovely!

Ok having had this for over a year I’ve decided to tell you what it’s like now, actually it’s brilliant. Without a doubt its the best kettle I’ve ever used.
Its quick to boil, it doesn’t drip when your pour but it does get VERY HOT on the sides, I’ve burned myself, so I’d definitely recommend keeping it away from small hands.

EUROPEAN PLUGS ARE DIFFERENT FROM UK !!
When sending electrical goods to Europe it would be a good idea to give the buyer an option of having a European plug and NOT a British one.
This avoids some ugly wiring work!!

Nicest sturdy kettle – easy to clean and fill. Pours well and the mirror steel finish – including the base – polishes up well and doesn’t show water marks. The filter inside is strong too and not like those flimsy bits of plastic that break the first time you clean them. All in all I’m pleased with this kettle. Hope it lasts as long as my Dualit toaster which I must have had for about 20 years and it’s still going strong.

I bought this Kettle at the same time as the Toaster, I also like the style of this item and how it glows a lovely blue when switched on, but most importantly, it boils quicker than my old kettle, mind you I had been using it for nearly 20 years, If this one lasts as long I will be really happy (LOL) yet again another great buy.
Like the way it pours and looks but downside is the water level is a little tricky to see, you have to lift kettle up. It could do with being a different colour or being lit up. Other than that great kettle.
