During the colder months buildings become warmer inside than outside; a natural result of this is condensation and increased humidity in the indoor environment.

This removes a lot of moisture
This unit removes a lot of moisture from the air, which is presumably what anyone wants who buys this. The humidity in the house was noticeably reduced after only a few hours of use. This is great when drying washing as moisture is removed and the washing drys much faster. The noise level is quite low on most settings, the higher settings are louder, but have not really had to use them very much. One useful side effect is that the air that is expelled after moisture removal is quite cold so is like a mini air conditioning unit as well. So if looking for a good dehumidifier then this is a good buy
Up and running in seconds
Very pleased with this purchase. I have a dehumidifier from another brand, which I have used for years, but it’s needed a bit more support of late so I bought this from Duronic. It’s not quite as quiet as my other one, but it’s quiet. There’s no unit shake / jump as it starts and stops as you see with many machines, it just clicks on or off.
When my original one gives up, which I feel won’t be long, I’m going to replace with another one of these, so, yes I would definitely recommend, as I’ll be buying another at some point fairly soon.

it works perfectly. The only problem is that it is hard to read the display as it is very dark and that the water tank can be hard to remove and put back sometimes.
Not the cheapest but does what it says on the tin.
Bought one in December 2020 and made a huge difference to our old house. We now have a bigger house so ordered a second one (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). We use ours with a smart plug, set to turn them on and off at set times. House is quicker to warm up and if there is any condensation on windows/doors this clears them quickly. Pulls out a crazy amount of water out of the air. Very pleased 🙂

I bought this because my old one was getting too noisy. The advertising blurb suggests this one is quiet, but some of the negative reviews reported that is was noisy, so I took a risk buying it. I am pleased to report that is is not particularly noisy, even when the pump is running, and is pretty quiet when just the fan is on. It is in a double garage underneath my daughter’s bedroom, and the noise from the previous one was keeping her awake. She has not complained since I bought this one. I have plumbed it in for continuous drain, which is very simple. The display is clear and shows the actual humidity in the room as the default. So far so good.
Toasty bedrooom
Great item not oversized but does the job for our basement bedroom. Quiet running not like large industrial ones . Not unsightly to look at and economical on electric usage. Only criticism came without instructions so looked at online website and was scammed by a company called PCS* Mullion Marketing so beware although not associated with Amazon in any way who were a great help when notified.
Does exactly what it is supposed to do - dehumidify!
We’ve had this running consistently for a few weeks after a bit of a flooding disaster in our house, it does the job efficiently. The collection tank is a big stiff to remove but only a minor point.

Incredible! We only use it during the day as its situated right next the bedrooms. It fills up every day by 6pm. We have had it just under a month I just wish we had invested earlier.

Best dehumudifie
This is a great dehumidifier. I suffered with condensation, but since having this, the problem has all but gone. I use it on the clothes drying setting and it can dry 2 airers of clothes in a few hours. I’m really happy with it. Spent lots of time doing research, and wondered if it was worth the money, it is, i wouldnt be without it. Its on wheels and i do move it about my bunglow with ease. It it quite loud sometimes, but this doesnt really bother us as it it mainly shut in utility room drying clothes. Buy one you wont be disappointed in its performance. It literally sucks the moisture out of the air, filling the large canister daily.

Dry windows....
Couldn’t believe how much water was pulled put of the air the first few days,condensation in the 80s now its down between 45 and 55.My windows were covered in condensation at first but now bone dry.Also the air around the house feels drier.Some dehumidifiers have a small water collection bucket but this one is a good large size.
Quiet and effective
I am using this in the ‘drying laundry’ mode so the fan is operating at full speed. However, it’s reasonably quiet and even heavy towels dry in just a few hours. On the downside, the touch sensitive buttons and icons are very small and dark against a dark background so you need good light (or very good eyesight) to see them. Overall this is a very good product, Recommended.
Does a great job
Use in a large conservatory that was suffering from mould. This machine is efficient does the job perfectly. The noise is not as bad as a lot of reviews suggest.

Seems to work well drying out a damp room and also helping dry laundry airers. Easy to use, good job as never found the online instructions! It’s heavy, but designed well so pretty easy to move about. Don’t think I could sleep with it on, but not too noisy.
Fabulous Duronic Dehumidifier 5*
Bought my first Duronic Dehumidifier 2 years ago my house was very cold even with the heating, WHAT a big difference this machine made I empty it twice a day so bought a second one upstairs one down you will not be disappointed with this Dehumidifier just remember to clean filter which is easy to do, the alarm goes off when it needs to be emptied.
My house feels warmer I’ve been able to turn the heating down, any moisture in the home makes the house cold

I purchase this dehumidifier on the strength of the positive reviews and, having used it for just over a week now, I’ve not been disappointed. Our mid 1920s house suffers from a touch of damp, which often turns to mould spots at low levels on the walls of the boot room. I was so fed up with continually cleaning the mould spots from the walls, I purchased this machine.
I’ve also been using it throughout the rest of the house – especially in a spare room which isn’t getting any use owing to the pandemic and the machine regularly collects a litre of moisture after a few hours running.
I don’t find it noisy at all – it runs fairly quietly in my opinion, and is easy to operate and move around thanks to the castors and handle on top. It’s also very easy to empty – the jug-style tank slots in/out smoothly. I’ve been using the water extracted from their air on my houseplants!
Overall, a really great purchase, and one which I wish I’d made ages ago. The house definitely feels better for it.
